Hidden gem. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food was delicious and very affordable. The service was quick, and friendly and the patio is a lovely place to sit with views of the pier. The falafel had a terrific texture and the flat shape makes them perfect for wraps.

Place is the perfect hole in the wall. Very small but plenty of room at the same time. Very friendly staff. Mannerisms were respectful. Food was delicious. Fresh ingredients. I was also able to have my dog outside while restaurant next door was entirely no pets allowed. Location is great by the pier. Think I’ll start eating here after my runs. Fell in love with the place.

I visited this place based on a recommendation and absolutely loved everything about it. It’s a charming little spot with a warm, friendly atmosphere. I had a solo dinner on the patio, which was beautifully decorated with flowers on the walls. I ordered rice with berries, organic chicken, and a Mediterranean salad, and everything was delicious. Chris, who served me, was incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. All the staff, including Chris and Ronny, were welcoming and made the experience even more enjoyable.

I have always seen this establishment on my way to the Veterans Memorial Pier, and I gave it a try. I ordered “to go” sandwiches (pita wraps) and told them that i would pick up my order in 30 minutes. How sweet of them that they calculated what time I would pick up my order and grilled chicken so that I could enjoy fresh food! I ordered falafel and chicken sandwiches. My friend who is kinda picky eater (she admits) loved the chicken pita sandwich. I liked mine as well. As I was waiting for my order, I looked around the establishment and was surprised to see that there is a huge patio! I would definitely come back to actually dine in next time.

The cafe is uniquely situated near the beach. I ordered the combo with two skewers of kabob (saffron chicken and lamb) served with basmati rice and salad. The chicken was slightly dry, while the lamb was moist and not overly gamey. The Turkish coffee was expertly prepared with the ideal amount of coffee grounds. 🏖️🍢😋 #foodie #beachvibes #turkishcoffee

I’ve always wanted to go here and I’m so glad we finally. We had a great experience! We went here for an early valentines dinner and sat on the patio. The food and service were fantastic. The berry hummusu was so so good. Really looking forward to going back and trying more things on the menu.

I came to this place for the first time. I love Mediterranean food. Very traditional decor. Loved it. Small place and very clean. The food is fairly priced for the quality and portion size. I ordered the Salmon Kabob plate and they served me a very generous portion of salmon. It was delicious. Rice and salad were good. I'm giving this place 5 stars even though the costumer service wasn't that great. I walked in and the waitress didn't acknowledge me, she didn't come over and offer me a seat and didn't bring me a menu. The owner did all of this. This is why I'm still giving this place 5 stars. He was very nice and i really liked the food. I recommend this place for this reason.

Chicken pita hit the spot tonight! I wanted everything on the menu but was short on cash and knew my eyes were bigger than my stomach so this was the perfect balance of deliciously filling and affordable. First visited with family a couple years ago, I think the owner waited on us. We sat on the little back patio and had a lovely time. So glad to visit LGB again - I specifically wanted to come back to Gypsy’s! Inside is sweet/cozy/relaxing - even low key romantic with the lights and florals, staff is kind and comfortable, food is mouthwatering. Tempted to go back for breakfast…

Really enjoyed the variety and flavors. We ordered the sampler, which included yogurt dip, hummus, eggplant borani, and stuffed grape leaves, all served with flatbread. Everything tasted fresh and well-balanced, and the eggplant borani was especially comforting and flavorful. We also had Gypsy’s kebab combo with juicy chicken and kubide, served with fragrant saffron basmati rice that paired perfectly with the meats. The tabouleh salad was also so fresh and satisfying, adding a really nice balance to the meal. We also tried the beef kebab pita, which was tender and well-seasoned. Portions were generous and everything felt thoughtfully prepared. Definitely a spot I’d come back to.

I would opt for the patio if the weather is willing (usually 77% chance of no rain in SoCal). You'll thank me later. The family that runs the business is a very pleasant family, they make and prepare delicious food very well. The side dishes and sauces are also on point. Full disclosure... I am a bit biased as a Filipino person that is in love and enamored with Mediterranean food, this place is a go-to for me. So don't take my word for it, try it yourself. When it comes to Persian Mediterranean food, Gypsy's is legit to me. You'll see me again.

I don't know how I didn't know about this place until recently, but I am obsessed. The Turkish chicken kebab plate with zareshk rice topping is so freaking good. Really cute little space and everyone I've interacted with there has been super nice!

This place is a hidden gem! Everything on the menu is excellent quality. I especially love the salmon kabob plate. The salmon is silky and the portions are generous. The prices are a good deal for what you get. And the atmosphere is nice. Perfect date spot or a chill hang.

Good food but we most enjoyed talking with staff and enjoying our surroundings. Was a lovely evening.
