This is the cleanest Subway I have ever seen. Customer service is excellent. Food is fresh and tasty. I'm a regular and every time I stop by, I see smiling and friendly faces. Most affordable option on 2nd St. I love it.

I've been here three weeks, I've ordered five sandwiches, they've all been perfect, tasty and full. The store was completely clean, the attitudes of the four employees we're absolutely kind, polite and fast. I'll be back. Cookies are good too.
Love this Subway in the Belmont Shore community of Long Beach. It is always clean & organized. The owner takes special pride in this location and it shows. The staff is always friendly and attentive to make sure you feel welcomed. They have just added a special parking spot in front of the store so you can jump in, grab your food and get back in your car. Very convenient and tasty.
This Subway has UPGRADED their menu! No more cold cuts. All their sandwiches are amazing! I especially liked the Mexicali. So good!
I was so impressed with Michael. We stopped in for a quick bite, the shop was busy, he was the only one working and this guy can multitask! He had everything under control, very calm, helpful and polite. I was impressed with his work ethic. Thank You!

I really like subway however this time I tried the new chibatta sliders. The concept is good but my chibatta bread was like a rock. Also you can not add vegetables. How it is advertised is how you have to get it. Probably won't buy those again. Gave them 3 stars only because I actually like there regular sandwiches.

Terrible. Terrible. TERRIBLE!!! This location has always been 5 Stars worthy, the last few weeks has been a disaster, I suspect this location is under new management. The orders are not followed by selection of items requested on app. There is ALWAYS only 1 person working, and whenever you share your concerns their answer is "I dont know what you want me to do, its not my fault its the manager we told him" like is this not a TOP CHAIN food resturant? They have empty stock of items, the chip shelves are empty, the HEALTHY options drink fridge is empty, one customer complained because he wanted something with Zero sugar and all they had was Sodas and high sugar drinks. Also their toaster has been broken for a month now and I requested to cancel my order because of the 35 min wait time even though I ordered online, and the sandwich not being toasted and warm, its chicken, it needs to be warm for me. The associate did not want to do anything about it until I confronted him about it. Overall terrible experience for me and the 2 customers ahead of ke, we all left in disbelieve. Also the Agua Frescas station is dryed and empty, such a shake that Subway allows this.

I have several dogs all trained and on 4 foot leash. I ordered a sandwich and was eating it in front of the restaurant on the side. Not blocking entrance. . Within minutes an individual identified as store owner came bothered me saying the dogs might be potentially intervening other customers. He is not friendly and talked with a hostile attitude. Sandwich doesn't taste good plus a bitter taste in my mouth of how a store owner treat customers . None of us cause any issue. Won't come back here again for sure.
I don't eat at Subway. I am not a fan. This rating is a direct result of their audacity putting their mobile pickup waiting sign and area at the curb in front of their store knowing full well it is designated a bus stop. When there are cars waiting It becomes impossible for anybody in a wheelchair to access that stop. I get off at this stop regularly and now routinely have to get off in the street because of A-holes parked at the bus stop waiting for a sandwich. Your lack of consideration is appalling.
Worst subway sandwich we've ever had. Ordered by phone.. got wrong bread, sandwich items were mixed up, sandwich, a veggie delight was so sparse, we took the ingredients off of 1/2 and put it on the other 1/2 to beef it up. Never again!!
Twice I've been to 2nd Street subway in Hayward. First time was frustrated due to location and having to park around the corner where it was dark and having to walk to shop. A female and alone it was a little scary when walking past a homeless person. The guy in store was not friendly at all and definitely lacked customer service. Second time, it was the same guy and just as rude as first visit. He was out of some ingredients and did not want to get any stating that they would be closed the next two days for new year's and did not want to waste a new batch. I won't ever go to that location again!
I have to wait 20 mts cause they supposed to apwn at 10 AM and when he arrived he spend afew minutes inside the car with his girlfriend and after the store open he wasnt wearing a mask the other guy did but the one in charge didnt
I go to this location in a pinch maybe once every 6 months. Last three times, out of turkey the first, out of Italian bread the second. Today I walk in and nobody is there. The employee walks in the FRONT door a minute or two later and asks if I have a pick up order, I say no…she proceeds to tell me they are closed for now! Don’t spend your money here, let it go out of business maybe something better will replace it.
This has to be the worst subway in long beach for months they didn't have a toaster and today had no sandwich meat! The employees are kind but seem oblivious how do you have no sandwich meat?
If you're a delivery driver, prepare to have your time wasted.
This place just straight-up sucks honestly. They never participate in coupons and dong follow instructions. They got my order wrong 3 separate times. Stingy and bad customer service. Don't recommend it at all. I don't know how they're still in business.
Only 1 person working while I was there and she was in the back for like 5 minutes before she noticed that there were people waiting. Line was 5-6 people so it took forever. Bread oven was beeping and being annoying whole time. Paid like 22 dollars for a foot long, a bag of chips and a soda; completely overpriced. Found hair in the footlong when I was eating it so I paid 20 dollars for a soda and small bag of chips; total ripoff.
