Silverlake Ramen at LBX is a great spot for a comforting bowl of ramen. The broth is rich and flavorful, noodles are cooked just right, and toppings are fresh. Service is quick and friendly, making it a solid choice when you’re craving quality ramen.
LOVED my ramen! Classic tonkatsu was very good, one of the best ramen bowls I’ve eaten. Rich silky broth, just right chewy noodles, large cut of pork that was tender & flavorful, and a perfect egg on top. Not overly salted. Will definitely be back!
The broth at this ramen restaurant is exceptional, rich in flavor and depth, making it one of the best I’ve tasted. They offer a diverse selection of ramen bowls, each with unique ingredients and styles, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The customer service was impressive; the staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring a positive dining experience. The seating is self-service, which adds a casual vibe, and for those on the go, there's a convenient takeout option available. It’s worth noting that parking is shared with several other businesses along the strip, so it might be a bit crowded during peak hours, but the delicious food makes it worth the effort.
Chill spot 😎 absolutely delicious ramen ...I ordered the 🔥 spicy veggie...this will be my go to ramen spot in this side of town.
A welcomed bowl of hearty and flavorful ramen hot the spot at a time when we were feeling a little worn out from a long day at the office. Attentive servers provided us with everything we needed in a timely manner whenever we were running low, be it water, sake, napkins, or energy!
Found this place in Silverlake while working. Loved it was happy to know there was one close to my home. Just try everything.
Ordered the blaze ramen. Not Spicy to me, but I have blood of fire due to all the spicy food I eat. It was a BIG portion! My new ramen spot for sure. Service was good, and seated fast. The atmosphere is pretty urban. I dig it.
It was a first time for both my daughter and myself. She's a Cali girl but lives is Raleigh, NC...graduate of Duke. She broke her leg while visiting and I wanted to go somewhere special and comfortable enough for her casted leg. Real simple to order. You walk up to the kiosk and press screens with choices of meals and can add extras, condiments, utensils, drinks, decide if you are eating in or to go and pay. I saw a lot of door dash/grub hub people picking up bags to deliver. Popular place. If you love noodles you'll love this place. Add some hot chili too
The food is good. The staff is very nice and friendly. Best churros I’ve ever had. Only thing that I didn’t like was the bugs flying around my food and face.
My wife and I were in Japan in 2019 and the ramen there is simply indescribable. We have since tried numerous ramen places and all have disappointed severely except for this. This is the best ramen we’ve tried in the States to this point (and we’re still on the prowl for even better if one exists). We both ordered The Blaze Ramen w/ pork and it was delicious. Much better than we were anticipating. On top of that, we shared the Crispy Chicken Karaage which was fantastic and the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, which while not the best we’ve had (hey, it’s not strictly a sushi restaurant) was still VERY good. We’re happy to have tried it and if we are in the area again, we’ll be sure to stop by a second time.
This ramen place is very good. Reasonably priced, not too expensive. I thought both ramens were salted perfectly, but could be too salty for some. The broth is incredible though. And the spice to add is also very good. As someone else mentioned, the pork is too thick and is a little hard to eat it that thick. Nevertheless, the pork tasted amazing. If you like a nice traditional ramen, definitely try this place!

Service is great and the food is very consistent. I love their blaze ramen. The ramen combo is a great deal for just a few dollars more.
Went there for lunch and had the lunch deal. Got the chicken karaage and that was delicious. Crispy and tender, very good. The classic tonkotsu was good but I wish it had a bit more flavor. The egg was definitely the best part but I felt the pork was missing a bit of crispiness
We went for lunch. Had their combination option: Shoyu noodles & the crispy chicken appetizer. Those crispy chicken appetizers were really good. Add a touch of the lemon with the sauce...great! The shoyu noodles were very good too. They add more items in their bowls than some other Ramen places...they add the seasoned egg and seaweed to their bowls at no extra cost. Excellent value for the money. We shall return!
New location for S.L.R. They have a Tatsu Style ordering process now, I’m not a fan of it considering the lines get long standing there. Broth taste creamy & the noodles were good, can’t recall the chashu taste The karaage chicken was delicious. I would come back.
Silverlake Ramen @ the LBX has come in handy many times. Looking to have some delicious Ramen? Come on down and order yourself something yummy! You might see me there so make sure you say hello!!!
This has to be one of the best Ramen places in Los Angeles County. The broth is phenomenal and the ingredients are GREAT! Broccolini is one of those vegetables that can get messed up but this place has mastered the are of cooking vegetables. The char and flavor is impressive. The pike bowl is pretty good but the ramen is the thing to get. The cost is minimal compared to the experience and satisfaction you will enjoy.

Pork too thick and salty on both Tsukemen and Shoyu Ramen. First time having Tsukemen, so nothing to compare it to, but the sauce seemed on the salty side as well... Had a sampling of the Shoyu, and the broth seemed weak and not flavorful. Overall not what I expected from Silverlake ramen and what I thought was a reputable ramen house. I will say I liked their Karage, but have been spoiled having Karage in Japan and the meat quality is not on par...

I had the spicy ramen. The ramen noodles were like spaghetti noodles, but the chicken was very delicious but probably won't be back.
Mediocre Experience at Silverlake Ramen I recently visited Silverlake Ramen and ordered the two classic ramen bowls, one with chicken and the other with pork, along with Chicken Karaage and California rolls. While the ramen noodles stood out, the overall experience left much to be desired. Starting with the California rolls, they lacked the freshness and flavor I expected. They felt like store-bought rolls, and to make matters worse, we weren’t provided soy sauce until after we received the check. This oversight was disappointing. The Chicken Karaage was a letdown as well. It mainly consisted of fat and had a chewy texture, which didn’t align with our expectations. It fell short of delivering the crispy, flavorful karaage we hoped for. On the brighter side, the ramen noodles themselves were great. They had a pleasing texture and were undoubtedly the highlight of the meal. My partner even enjoyed her broth, although I found mine to be too milky. Nevertheless, I understand that this is a characteristic of the style of ramen they serve. The beer selection, specifically the Asahi, was a saving grace. It provided a refreshing accompaniment to the meal and added a positive note to the overall experience. One positive aspect worth mentioning is that Silverlake Ramen is pet-friendly. If you want to dine with your furry friend, this restaurant offers that convenience. When it comes to the service, it was instead cut and dry. While we didn’t encounter any significant issues, it lacked the personal touch that would have made our visit more memorable. Overall, the service was forgettable and didn’t leave a lasting impression. In summary, my experience at Silverlake Ramen was mediocre. While the ramen noodles and beer stood out, the California rolls fell short, the Chicken Karaage was disappointing, and the service was unremarkable. If you’re in the area and craving ramen, there may be better options to consider.
This place used to be amazing. I've been coming here for a couple of years now. However, their service and food quality is going downhill. It's impossible to get service. It seems they've changed their noodles to what tastes like starchy spaghetti. The broth was so watered down, it didn't have much flavor. I don't recommend.

This ramen place is subpar. The service is probably the worst I’ve experienced. Sat there for 30 minutes after eating for check. To make matters worse ramen makes me run to restroom after consuming.
