Everything was amazing. They also let you sample the meats. Great customer service! The cream avocado amazing!!! Proofa attached
This place is pretty great, it does one thing, no two things amazingly well that make it stand out: One, the cheese fried into the tortilla is completely genius and I can't understand why that's not a standard feature of all tacos, it's that good! Second, the meat here is perfectly tender! I tried four different tacos and all of them, from steak, chicken, lingua, and cactus, all of them were perfectly tender. They've perfected their cooking technique and flavor is on point. The only downside here is limited internal seating; there's a few counter spots inside and then more outside seating. This place is a hidden gem and now one of my favorite taco joints in LA. Recommended.
Let me tell you this was very delicious to enjoy. I normally have a very high expectation when it comes to Mexican food but this definitely hit that. I ordered the tacos, the chicken, the Carne Asada and their adobada!! I was so impressed by their chicken because it’s not easy to really pull off and it was really delicious. I tried there mulitas in adobada I straight lick the plate clean! Also had their Carne Asada quesadilla and their latte and they were so so good. I even tried their Michelada and it was scrumptious! service was super friendly. Everyone was such great energy. And the restaurant is beautiful. It’s clean very well. Decorated everything branded very well. Oh, and they even make their own tortillas!!!
If you're looking for the best tacos in town, look no further! From the moment you walk in, the savory smell of freshly grilled meats and homemade tortillas fills the air, promising an unforgettable experience. The menu offers a variety of taco fillings, from tender al pastor and juicy carne asada to flavorful fish and veggie options, each prepared with the finest ingredients. The tacos are perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of seasoning, freshness, and heat. The homemade salsas are a standout, offering a range of flavors from mild to fiery that complement every bite. The service is fast and friendly, making the whole experience even better. Whether you're a taco connoisseur or a first-timer, this place is sure to satisfy your cravings and leave you coming back for more. A true gem in town!
I had a great first time here. They gave us samples to try their meat. Staff was attentive, friendly, and quick. We didn’t wait long for our food. Most importantly, everything we ordered was fresh and absolutely delicious. Authentic Tijuana style tacos for a great price 😋 the buñelos were a cherry on top!
The food was fantastic. I got the carne asado and adobada el pastor taco along with the Elote. I also grabbed a horchata. The tacos were good, the horchata was the best I've had since I moved to Southern California. Creamy and sweet but not too sweet. Perfect. The corn was incredible. Honestly I would go back to drink the horchata and eat elotes. So so tasty! I highly recommend! The tacos were good but the corn was just better!
Yes! I was worried about a taqueria up here because many times the tortillas have preservatives, and you can totally taste them. Ruining your food. Not this restaurant, their corn and flour tortillas are handmade. The corn ones are nice and thick and delicious. The flour tortilla was just right. Honestly, if you want authentic tacos, this is your place. The only thing missing are the Aguas Fresca. You can order on a kiosk or with the cashier. Even the set up looks like a TJ taqueria with the Pepsi logo painted and everything.
The adobada and tripa tacos were really good. The just made masa tortillas with the tender adobada and crispy/crunchy tripa added an extra deliciousness. The guacamole on the adobada tacos was a great combination. The place and restrooms were clean and well kept. I will come back soon! Google asked me to update my review, but I can't, but keep the same, since I have still the same good impression, although I had now tried the asada quesadilla, and I forgot to mention the rice and beans that come with the combo, very authentic Mexican sides, which all are pretty good. I will be keep coming back!
My first impression was sweet. Looks like a Tijuana style taco place. Then I was greeted by Anthony who made the experience even better I thought he was the owner because was EXTREMELY friendly and welcoming. I don’t eat meat so I had the jamiaca veggie tacos. They were the best tacos I’ve had. I can’t wait to come back with my family.
Wellllllll every soooo often my socks get knocked off. I really like great Mexican food but don't expect it in Southern Ca as "the abundance of water still leaves us thirsty" (Bob Marley), and there is a Mexican restaurant for every two houses...;) First time there and can't say how good it was. Got one chicken taco, guac included! And chicken burrito cause I wanted to sample both. So good. Very nice atmosphere, clean and congenial to enjoying your food. WELL DONE.
Mind blown! 🤯 Taco masa is a new restaurant across the street from Wilson High in Long Beach. They serve hand made tortillas. Their super mulitas are a must try and trust when I say "you will not be disappointed!" Also had their tacos adobados. Their Jamaica or hibiscus tacos are🔥🔥. My only takeaway was that they didn't have grilled onion &my tacos adobados didn't have the grilled pineapple. But I still gave them 5 stars because the food was 👍. Will be coming here on a regular basis. Also their customer service was amazing.
I drive by Taco Masa a few times a week and decided to stop in and try the tacos. The Pastor are my favorite although the Asada are tasty as well. I went ahead and downloaded the app so I could order ahead and pick up. So easy to use I’ve been at least twice a week since my first visit. Stop in and try Taco Masa, you won’t be disappointed! See you soon!
Curious about the taco selection for about one year though always around Tacomasa when it isn't open, I'm glad about the establishment popping up on my UberEATS menu (with a promo available at the time too) when looking for Vegan options. I call in to confirm details about the menu, and customer service ensures my order is Vegan. I order the Jamaica Quesadilla and the Jamaica Torta. The main difference flavorwise is between the bread/wrapping. Otherwise, both share similar, if not the same, ingredients; both meals are very salty though a good reminder to eat Spinach because I recall feeling quite wonderful the following morning. I like the taste of the torta bread more so than the quesadilla wrapping. The sauces don't seem necessary for these meals: the flavors don't mesh in a way that boosts these meals' flavors more so than makes the meals a bit spicier and/or wetter, to me. Even so, for dinner, I do prefer a meal with more protein though I sleep soundly afterward.

Food came out Real Good Great Customer service
Stopped here on the way out of town to grab a bite. I was super excited to see that they had tamales on the weekends. We ordered a pork tamale, a taco combo, and the quesadilla. Everything was really delicious. I was super happy with the tamale, the masa was moist and the red sauce was really tasty. I am allergic to raw onions so I was so happy to find out that the guacamole didn't have any. The tacos were carne asada and the quesadilla was adobada, both were incredibly flavorful. Rhe service was really wonderful and everyone who worked there was so helpful and super nice. We will definitely be back. When we were leaving I popped back inside to let them know how much we enjoyed everything
Great tacos! Service was friendly and the tacos were delicious! I asked for some jalapeno on the side and they grilled right up.
I got the two taco combo with an horchata it was great. the horchata had a unique taste its the best i’ve had in a long time. service was quick and easy.
This is my second visit at this location the food was delicious this time I got the tripa taco and asada both were so good the girls were so nice and cheerful They checked up on us and gave us gum. We will be back with friends.
This place is unbelievably good! Can't believe I haven't been going here. Got a pork burrito and it was beyond delicious. Something a little different. Check this place out!
Tough review to write. The customer service is great, the ambiance is modern and clean. Indoor seating is limited, but plenty of seating outside. The parking is very small and impacted. I had high hopes for the food based on the postings and reviews. The smell of mesquite fills the room in a good way. That however did not translate into amazing flavor with the Azada Tacos. The food was not great, it was average. Not terrible either. However, not worth the $4 something per taco. I wouldn’t drive out of my way to get here. I would stop by if I’m in the are though. I would strongly suggest Taco Nazo as an alternative.
I tried the asada fries, a taco, an elote and a mulita. I didn't care for the asada fries or taco for the same reason. Neither had a lot of flavor. The salsa also wasn't very good. The elote was tasty as expected. Much like what you'd get from some carts. The carnitas mulita also pretty good. I also tried the orchata and jamaica, both were too sweet for my taste. I know some people prefer them that way, so those weren't reflected in my rating. Just the food. Friends and family swear by this place so I'll revisit soon.

I was excited to try this place because of all the great reviews. The food is good but nothing extraordinary for the price. The service left a lot to be desired. Utensils, napkins and sauces are all behind the counter. However, employees have an attitude when asked for them. There are other more authentic places in Long Beach.

The carne asada for the burrito and torta was WAY TOO SALTY almost inedible and we had to pair it up with the WAY TOO SWEET HORCHATA to be able to eat some of it, the quality of the carne asada wasn’t that good, a lot of chewy pieces. I wouldn’t bother going back if those are the favorite items on the menu, I had been to Tacomasa before and had better experiences. I ended up having to eat one side of the bread, the one with the guacamole and that was my dinner.

The asada fries lack flavor, and the reheated meat is also flavorless. The to-go container was just a paper plate covered with aluminum foil. The cheese was not melted, and I asked for crispy fries, but they were barely cooked. It's understandable why it was so empty. Save your money and go to a taco vendor for more flavorful food.
