UPDATE: Ok, not sure how but they managed to do this, but they made the best lemonbar in the entire world. So good. Their service is top notch. Their entire team works together to serve customers. I was blown away at how this team works together. I will be sharing my experience with my team at work. What they have is special. The food is fantastic. My husband ordered the coconut crusted French toast and I had the eggs Benedict. The French toast was crispy on the outside and inside was smooth as custard. Next time we come back I'm ordering the biscuits and gravy... can't wait to try them. If you have chance to visit this Cafe do not hesitate. We can't wait to go back.

Great restaurant! We pop in here from time to time. It's a bit of a drive for us but always worth it. Portions are a reasonable size. Not huge, not small...reasonable. Fresh fruit is actually fresh! Chicken fried steak is fantastic. Eggs always cooked perfectly too. Biscuits and gravy aren't all dolled up with weird spices and tons of sausage...just simple tasty white gravy and a reasonable amount of sausage. Service here is really good as well! Our drinks were always full and it didn't take much time for them to take our order. Food took a reasonable amount of time to make (especially since they were so busy). They didn't hound us to death like a lot of places, and they also didn't ignore us. Just right again! Great place all in all. If you haven't been, definitely give it a try.

It’s a delightful little corner spot! My partner and I stopped in for a weekday breakfast and made it right before the rush. The chicken fried steak was perfect! nice thick gravy, and the crunch from the breading was what i needed. my partner got a full breakfast and it was great. definitely will be back.

Ate here while visiting family in Longview. Wish I'd known about this place earlier before eating at a few other places in town. This is one of the best breakfast I ever ate. Had the steak and eggs and my wife had a scramble and everything was so very good. People were super nice and it was such a great place.

At one point she got down on her hands and knees to clean under the coolers. I never have seen such dedication in any restaurant I have been to.

Walked here while waiting for an oil change. Got the Montreal steak hash and was blown away. Seriously, 10 out of 10, I cannot overstate how good it was. Definitely coming back.

Cute little spot for a quick bite today. The service was fast and friendly. The quiche breakfast was delightful. Hubby had the Denver omelet and was pretty quick(good sign that he was loving it!) If we didn't have to get back on the road, we'd hang out and wait to have lunch here. Thank you to the staff for making this such a great experience!

(Updated at the end) This was our first time here. At first I thought wow it's only got like five tables, but then we saw the second room that they call the enclosure with 6 or so more tables in there. We were greeted and told we could sit wherever we wanted. After being seated we were given utensils, napkins and menus. For a little place I thought the menu was pretty extensive all things considered. They serve breakfast all day and have a nice selection of both lunch and breakfast items. I took a little while to decide what I wanted. My wife had the special "cinnamon swirl French toast, 1 egg scrambled and a slice of ham" I had the " chicken fried steak with country sausage gravy, 2 eggs over medium and hash browns with their homemade white bread (of course)" . We were both very happy with our meal. Her scrambled egg was cooked flat and hard but she said it was still edible. I asked for an extra side of country sausage gravy. I usually take pictures of our meal to show here, but I must've been too hungry to even think about stopping to take pictures. I just dug right in to my meal. The service was good, our needs were attended to very well. They do their own desserts in house. Our server said the lady who does them has a hurt shoulder and one of the owners is having to help out making the baked goods and desserts. Since the lady who usually does them is out they are having to supplement with some premade items like the cookies, some pies and cinnamon rolls. They say the dessert menu is changed weekly starting on Tuesdays. We'll be back for round two... And an update with pictures. Update 6/14/2024 We went for breakfast around 9:30. The only tables available were outside on the patio. It was chilly with the breeze coming through. The food was hot though. We both had an omelette. They scrambled the whole eggs to order for making the omelettes. Usually a restaurant would use liquid egg product. My wife had the fried potatoes and I had the hash browns. Both were very good. Crispy outside soft and hot inside. It was another good experience at The Corner Cafe. 2/25/2026 Chicken fried steak and eggs. Pretty good still. She had a breakfast sandwich. It appeared to have a premade egg patty on it. She liked it anyway. The atmosphere in here is heavy in "grill" smoke. The kitchen area has no outside ventilation.

Looking for a new breakfast place while waiting for my father-in-law's medical appointment and found this little gem. Friendly staff and seriously good food. We got seated right away and ordered shortly after. A little bit of a wait, but it was worth it. I had their homemade corned beef hash with homemade white bread and two eggs. The corned beef hash was some of the best I've ever had. Generous amounts of slow roasted corned beef and red potatoes nice and crispy. Eggs over medium were perfect. My wife had their Southern breakfast two eggs, hash browns, and what tasted like homemade sausages, with biscuits and gravy. Both of us finished our meals and are now ready for naps. Great food, friendly staff and moderate prices.

Wow. This place was simply amazing. Incredible customer service. Incredible food. Incredible experience. They are pet friendly on their patio section. The manager took time to bring bacon and water for our dog. Our waitress was super attentive. I definitely recommend this place and I will eat there again anytime I visit the area.

The staff was absolutely on top of it, courteous,  fast, helpful, friendly, and engaging.  We had the breakfast burrito and the  country benidict which were both ok but... we also got a slice of the coconut french toast. DO NOT EAT THE COCONUT FRENCH TOAST IT WILL RUIN YOU FOR FRENCH TOAST FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.  (Great now we have to move here or get this regularly)  All the food was great! But man oh man that coconut French toast... coffee was also really good. The whole place was clean and the large bathrooms were very well up kept . Defiantly a place to stop. Thank you!

Tiny little hole in the wall sharing a building with the credit union corporate offices... But it's got a huge personality. The food was excellent, the prices even better, and the servers were so friendly and attentive. I recommend eating at an outside table if the weather supports it (still table side service and more space to get comfy). I had the steak and eggs breakfast (twice in the same visit, it was so good). Sodas come in a can, so don't expect refills (I didn't ask, just assume). I'll be back soon.

The service was really good, waitress was super friendly. I had the special of the day, an a1 steak sandwich. The grilled parm bread was excellent ! She said you can order it that way for any sandwich. I also had their cream of mushroom soup, it was full of mushrooms! I found out they make their own soups daily! Highly recommend!

You have to try this place!!! The staff are friendly, the food is affordable and delicious!! I got a garlic chicken salad with lasagna soup ($12.17 was my total!) and it was so satisfying… the portion size was perfect and the ingredients were fresh. I loved the garlic bread.

Consistently good food and service. Food is hearty and the portions are generous.

A great little place where many customers were greeted by name! I had the BLT with navy bean and ham soup. Bacon cooked to perfection and the mayo tasted homemade! I got a lemon blueberry scone and coffee for desert but was so full and satisfied I had it later at home!

Atmosphere???? It seems like an old doctor's office turned into a restaurant. BUT don't let that keep you from giving them a chance. Food is great, staff is very friendly, plenty of parking, and the price is crazy cheap. I had a steak breakfast, homegirl had a specialty pancake breakfast, and homeboy had a jam packed omelette and everything was les then $50 WELL worth it. 10 out of 10 will eat there again.

A small cafe staffed by lovely ladies who are focused on making your visit enjoyable. Overlook the non-cafe decor, and you will have a great experience. My only complaint was the gravy atop the biscuits... it had to come from a can. It was bland and tasteless, and caused me to recall a boy in first grade who loved to eat paste. Other than that, my visit there was wonderful. I will happily return, but I will not order the gravy again!

Favorite spot in town for breakfast. They understand the assignment when you say you want your hash browns crispy. The coconut French toast is something I often crave and is so unique and delicious. The steak in the Montreal steak omelet is tender, highly recommend trying this place out!

My wife and I have been looking for a great place to eat that has healthy and homemade food, not just frozen stuff thrown on a grill or into a deep fryer. The only thing I could complain about was the onions that I asked for in my hash browns were black and overcooked. Not sure why the chef sent them out that way but I’m still giving a 5 because nobody is perfect. We’ll be back!

The first thing about the Corner Cafe that I must say is that the prices here are incredibly affordable. Nice quite café, very busy but you can still have a conversation. Staff very friendly and great service. Food was very good. Back today for breakfast, absolutely love it here. We were in Longview today and hungry, we haven't been to the Corner Cafe in awhile and never late enough for dinner. This place has never left us disappointed and the staff is so welcoming. Today we had Ruben on rye and BBQ burger, both outstanding. The menu online is not accurate but you can always call and ask for the price. Still a good deal and they are staying open until 8pm I'm just not sure how many days they are open late.

What a gem of a little diner. We were traveling from WA to OR and made a random pit stop for food. We were seated immediately, the staff was super friendly, the food was great diner food, and it's a place we'd come again if in the area. Parking was a breeze as well.

Always good! Had dinner with a friend, meatloaf delicious, baked potato gravy on the meatloaf so I got it on the side and put it on my potato. Highly recommend this the staff is friendly and very good at their job

Perfect spot to get brunch. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. Great spot for a small group. The coconut French toast is amazing as well as the French press coffee. Great service. Plenty of parking in the parking lot. Definitely recommend trying it out.

We stopped in this morning to get breakfast and it was absolutely delicious! Staff were friendly, polite, served us with a genuine smile and checked on us during our meal. The food came out relatively quickly - hot and ready for us to enjoy. The hashbrowns were perfectly cooked, as well as the chicken fried steak! The breading was perfectly seasoned and the country gravy on top was some of the best I have ever had. We most definitely will be adding this wonderful little spot into our rotation from here on out. We can't wait for the next time we can stop in and treat ourselves! 10/10 highly recommend!

The smell..... THAT'S the atmosphere. Otherwise, this place is unsuspecting. Tucked away in the Fibre Federal Credit Union parking lot, this place packs a bang for your buck. The menu is mouthwatering... we got coconut crusted French toast, a spicy Southwest omelette, with crispy hash browns on the side. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. Staff is incredibly welcoming, quick, and efficient. Highly recommend you give them a try if you're in the area!

Today was my first time trying breakfast here with my wife and it was delicious! When we arrived around 10:20am on a Saturday we had gotten there just in time to get the last table, which was outside. It was freezing but we wanted to try the food so we ordered some hot coffee and braved the cold, service was a little slow and she did not come to the table often, however they were really busy so I understand. We both got the biscuits and gravy with bacon, eggs, and hash browns which took probably 30 minutes to get to our table after we had already been there for close to 30 minutes. The food was delicious and the bacon and hashbrowns were both cooked perfectly, since we were outside the biscuits and gravy and the eggs were both so cold within the first 2-3 minutes we could not really enjoy it but it was still good. We will definitely be back however we will make sure to come earlier to avoid such a long wait and I also recommend to the diner that they invest in some of those stand up outdoor heaters to put next to the tables or maybe build wind blocking walls if they are going to do outside seating, because I watched multiple people just leave instead of dealing with the cold outdoor seating.

My friend and I both thought the food was excellent, and the service was quick and friendly. Unfortunately the place is very busy (on the weekend) and we had to sit outside in the cold. Tight on the inside if you're in a wheelchair. Nevertheless, I would recommend this anyone looking for a delicious breakfast.

Got food to go so I can't comment on the actual sit down service. The breakfast sandwich was good but the biscuits and gravy left something to be desired. It's obviously a packet of gravy mix not homemade gravy. Not the worst I've had but far from the best. People were nice though!

Ordered southwest sausage combo, breakfast casserole, and coconut French toast combo. Decent restaurant. Funny enough I had the least expectations for the casserole but it ended up being the best. I wanted to order the chicken fried steak but ended up ordering the sausage and regret it. Just too salty. Coconut toast was a fav with the kids.

Great food. Good prices. Service is good and reasonably fast if you arrive midway between normal breakfast and lunch times (around 10:30 to 11:30) or go after normal lunch time and arrive 1:30-2. They close at 3. Don't arrive after 2:30 because they don't like that. If you go at normal times for breakfast or lunch, then expect extremely slow service and a very long wait. The 2 times I went there at normal lunch times (12- 1:30) there was a 40 minute wait for food! Ouch! I would give a 5 star review, but with a 40 min wait during normal breakfast and lunch times, I cannot give 5 stars. I feel 4 stars is fair because at least certain time frames offer reasonably fast service and the food is always excellent. The food is above average and prices below average compared to other local options. 👍 If you're in a hurrry for breakfast their breakfast casserole and a fruit dish are delicious options that are faster than most other breakfast options. (But only fast if you go there between 10:30 to 11:30) For some unknown reason breakfast casserole is not on the menu, but it's always been available when I asked for it. If you're in a hurry for lunch, a cup of soup and half a sandwhich are faster than most options. (But only fast if you go there between 1:30-2) As for "atmosphere"... If you eat outdoors at one of their picnic tables (on a nice day) it's a pleasant outdoor cafe experience. Almost like you're on a picnic. I like it. If you eat indoors it has the feel of being a white collar worker eating your lunch in the breakroom at work, which I don't like, but the food is still excellent.

Solid breakfast spot! Food is home made and affordable. Service is polite and prompt! Portions aren’t huge but I came hungry and left full and satisfied. The staff came out and sang “Happy Birthday” to a gal who was clearly surprised and very tickled that they were so thoughtful. Im just passing through but you can tell there is a local following here. Nice place. ** Constructive criticism: The plastic plates are so light they slide across the table effortlessly even when full of food... I bumped mine reaching for my phone and almost had a catastrophe! Thicker/heavier plates would be a plus.

This is a nice place to eat. That little "hole in the wall" place you are looking for to eat at. Had breakfast items, which were quite tasty. And the service was very personable. They were very patient with me as my needs changed after I got there. Initially I was gonna eat alone but friends joined me and Corner Cafe was very accommodating. The food is great, a little under seasoned for my tastes but it gives it wider appeal. I came in around 2pm on a Friday during a light rainy day and the wait was longer than expected, but the food made up for it and you can see how hard the staff work to keep up. Solid choice for an outing, average prices, a bit too loud with how popular it seems to be. I just don't recommend if your stomach is already growling like mine was because it will definitely be a wait😭

We went for breakfast on a Saturday and expected a long wait. Surprisingly we were seated within 10 minutes. But, after ordering we waited about 25 minutes for our food, felt even longer. The coconut French toast was amazing, maybe the best I've ever had. My son's chicken fried steak was anything but. Seemed pretty obvious it came from frozen, and not even good frozen. My other son's omelet got an ok from him. All in all it was disappointing. That's too bad because I know I'll be craving that French toast again.

We were seated quickly. Place inside is nothing to write home about. Food was delivered quickly and hot! My husband liked his food. Bacon was good. My hash needed something, im not sure what but it needed more flavor? Seasonings. Something. The poached egg was perfect and sour dough toast was fantastic. The meat needed to be more rare as well. I know to ask now. Well be back again for sure.

A small hole in the wall restaurant that has a strong following. I had the corn beef hash and a pancake. The pancake was actually good. The corn beef hash was definitely below average. The potatoes were very under cooked and the beef was just not great. Friendly service was the best part.

Customer service is amazing! Food is 3/10 Cooks in the back burnt my eggs… eggs are so quick and easy to make. If you can’t cook eggs…. You SHOULD NOT be in the kitchen.

Chose this place because of the high rating on Google maps. Service and food were excellent and well priced. $75 for 4 for breakfast including tip. We paid cash as they said they appreciate that payment method on the door. Even on a weekday morning it was busy!
