I came here for a lunch date with a girlfriend and we had an amazing experience. This spot has such a classic, authentic trattoria vibe, it’s no wonder they’ve been a neighborhood favorite since 1994. We ordered the Vongole Macchiato with grilled lobster, and the clams in the spaghetti were incredibly fresh and flavorful. We also shared the Contadina pizza, which was the perfect thin-crust Italian style. The $60 wine flight had four different wines
A cozy spot tucked away, This is one of those true hidden gem L.A. places. Very low profile, dim light, a place where there has been some celebrity sightings. Real talk, I was told Adam Sandler and Magic Johnson were some of the celebrities that have stopped by amongst others and once you step inside you'll see why to with how low profile it is. But this spot does get busy in the evenings and even during lunch time. There are regulars who seem to frequent it here, and because of how obscure it is I totally see why. But besides the ambiance they do a great job with the pasta dishes and pizza options. The pizza is good, not too heavy yet on the gourmet side, you can eat it and enjoy it and not have that heavy feeling afterward. Good ingredients and good dough. We actually ordered their new wine flight for $60 and it came with four full glasses of various wines. Not a bad deal coupled with their pasta dishes. The staff is very tentative, friendly, and the owner is really personable too. Overall this is a great spot for a date night or just a night to come celebrate with some friends.
I had such a great experience dining at Cafe Angelino. The dishes were all so flavorful and delicious. The service was excellent as well. Highly recommend!
Absolutely charming, Italian eatery with phenomenal pizza and pasta! Cute family owned joint and friendly service. Will definitely be back.
Stopped by Café Angelino on a warm Friday night and was greeted right away with a warm welcome and quick seating. The owner was incredibly friendly and offered us wine and appetizers right off the bat—such great hospitality. We ordered from the chef’s specials and everything was delicious. I had the pesto pasta and branzino (thanks to their Insta!), both were perfectly prepared. My daughter loved her lemony prawn pasta, and my husband’s custom clam linguini in white wine sauce was spot on. Dessert was bomb—the crème brûlée, tiramisu, and bomba left us totally satisfied. Cozy, old-school Italian vibes and a genuinely kind staff. This place deserves more love—highly recommend! 🍝🍷🍮
I love absolutely everything about this place. I’ve been coming here for the last 15 years and it has never disappointed me. They have a new owner now but the menu is the same and staff is the same as well. They are all extremely friendly. The ricotta cheesecake is to die for! If Juan is your server, you are in good hands!
Amazing service... superceded only by the food. Nothing "mass produced" here ... ravioli was cleary handmade and I was able to substitute my sauce without issue. My husband and daughter also LOVED their dishes (shown in photos). What an amazing place... unassuming but very clear why they've been in business for more than 25+ years serving locals and tourists alike❤ We will definitely be back... again and again!
If you want your pasta cooked properly, go here! If you want perfect pasta sauce that compliments the quality pasta, go here! I recommend linguine vongole and the peach sorbet for dessert. This is not a romantic ambiance, just quality food cooked with pride.
A true gem. This is a family run restaurant that has survived for decades. There’s a reason for that! Great food at great prices, and you can tell they really care about what they do (both the employees and customers). There are a lot of superficial establishments in LA, this isn’t one of them.

They were just so welcoming. The first time I went, someone rushed out before I could pay the meter to tell me I could park in the back for free. They then personally showed me where to park since I was unsure. The food and service were fantastic. I travel a lot for work and I try to make an effort to experience different places but Im going to make this one a destination. A word of warning, that pasta hasn’t been sitting in a window waiting to be served. It was poured straight into your dish from the saucepan and picked up by a server who knew exactly when it would be ready so it’s hotter than you may be accustomed to. Give it a minute. It’s worth the wait.
Pasta and chicken dishes were better than my Nonna’s. I’m so full because everything was just too good I could not stop. Absolutely worth it!
If you’re looking for an intimate, authentic Italian spot in the heart of Beverly Hills, Café Angelino is it. From the moment we walked in, the warm lighting and cozy atmosphere made it feel romantic yet completely welcoming for our family. We made reservations ahead of time, and they had a high chair set up and ready for our toddler, which immediately made us feel considered and cared for . The food was truly exceptional. The arancini were perfectly crisp on the outside and rich and comforting on the inside. The Greek salad was fresh and vibrant. The pesto was flavorful and beautifully balanced, and the Pomodoro tasted simple in the best way fresh, classic, and done right. We ended with tiramisu and Panna cotta, and both were outstanding. The tiramisu was light and indulgent without being heavy, and the panna cotta was silky and perfectly sweet. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the entire experience felt thoughtful and elevated. It’s rare to find a place that delivers on ambiance, service, and food all at once especially in such a prime Beverly Hills location. We’ll absolutely be back in a few weeks on our next trip to LA. Café Angelino has officially become a must-visit for us. Highly recommend.
Questa è l’Italia that’s all to be said. In a city full of glitzy fly-by-night artisanal pasta and Mediterranean fusion this neighborhood gem is what it is. Unapologetically simple like the ristorante on the town square there’s nothing pretentious here. Just Italian food however you like, cozy like the old country.
The food was really good and the vibes were too. The staff was really kind to my family when my brother was having sudden medical problems.

Cafe Angelino does not dissapoint even though the restaurant is rather cozy and small the pasta is fresh, homemade and the red wine Pinot Noir is superb. Two Thumbs up.
Had a great experience at Café Angelino! I tried the noodles with shrimp, and they were absolutely delicious flavorful, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. The portion size was just right, and the ambiance of the café made the meal even better. Friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!
Stopped in last night for dinner. Nice location and very quaint. First time here and overall it was very good! We shared a Greek salad and Fagioli con Pasta. The salad had a light dressing that didn't overpower the salad. The Fagiola was very good! I had Linguine del Golfo (with seafood) and it was excellant! We'll be back for more!
I just discovered this little gem of an eatery! Unpretentious, inexpensive, and delicious. Fresh ingredients and simple recipes make for a great dining experience. Our server, Juan was friendly with a great sense of humor. Café Angelino is going to be my go to restaurant for great Italian cuisine. Satisfaction guaranteed!👏👏👏

The service is amazing and the food is definitely good Italian. The atmosphere is okay.
Wonderful little place in Los Angeles. Staff is very nice and food is very delicious! We did pay $80 when we came, which is the only reason it’s not a 5/5. Disclaimer that they charge an additional $3 after 4 pm. Would highly recommend however!

I chose to come here because of the many great reviews, pictures (cozy, old school, euro vibe and the outdoor patio. Everyone who works here is very nice, fast paced and attentive. I was disappointed in the flavoring of the ragu (rigatoni + ragu) - very bland, lacked spice. The margarita pizza we received was very different from what we expected (blotches of mozzarella + basil) - this pizza was “King Cheese” - cheesiest of them all, it was very surprising. The patio around is nice, it’s intimate in a sense. Emphasis on attentive and nice staff!
Solid Lunch choice. Its funny that it was not "one" for the books. I do remember it still with fond memories. It actually came as part of a recommendation. which suggests that while it definetly made it onto someone's list. in this part of town its hard to find a place with a reasonable price and a good meal and I think this falls right into that mix.,

I've been going to this restaurant since I was a student, and it was one of my favorites. I went there for the first time in a while after the COVID-19 pandemic. I was really looking forward to it. This day was my husband's birthday, so I asked for a good seat when I made the reservation, but when I got there, I was surprised to see that even though I had made a reservation, the seat had not been reserved and we were told to sit wherever we wanted. Incidentally, the seats that were available were in strong sunlight. My husband ordered the shrimp pasta and seafood risotto and an appetizer from the today's specials. Then, when I went to pay the bill, I was billed an amount that was insanely high, and I thought it must be a mistake. This is an Italian cafe, not a high-end restaurant, so I already knew what the normal price was. When I asked my husband if the price was the same as the menu price, he said that the price was not listed on the menu. The restaurant staff should have asked me about the price. I was shocked that a restaurant I had loved for many years was treating me like this, and many memories have been ruined. Waiters should clearly tell customers the price. Don't scam them.

I was dining here when a DoorDash driver asked to use the restroom. The staff refused, saying it was only for customers. That felt unnecessarily rude — delivery drivers help this restaurant serve its customers. A little respect wouldn’t hurt.
