They must have done a remodel because this place is a lot better than before. It’s great because I believe they stay open late They also have covered outdoor seating and separate booths inside. Idk where to start with what you can get there…probably about anything! I’m obsessed with the chili cheese fries, I would eat them every day if I could but I’d have to workout 24/7 and get liposuction. I’ve had the chilaquiles breakfast and french toast for dinner once , pretty good! Chicken tenders for kids and Orange bang❗️ The guys who work there are ultra friendly and cool [is it rude to say very clean and well dressed?] Oh and I like that you can call in orders and literally 10 minutes later pick up? So convenient!!!
I’ve known this place for years, but I never tried it until recently. The foods were fresh and yummy. The prices are good. I was surprised how good their burritos were. It’s much better than regular Mexican places. The staff are friendly and quick. I found my favorite place!
Love it😋 place looks even better now than it used to! Still kept the same awesome taste 🙏 chili burgers are delicious and the fries are lightly seasoned to perfection. Definitely recommend to anybody wanting a good burger that isn't In-n-Out over and over hehe.
Better than the original restaurant
Stopped by today after the Remodel. The owner was there and helped us inside to order. Social distancing is being respected at this establishment which is AWESOME. Grabbed a Chicken Burrito and pastrami sandwich with fries. The food was Delish! Rotisserie chicken was fresh and white meat. Very good. Will definitely be returning. Soooooo Happy that they were able to remodel and reopen after the fire! Local classic
During our visit to California, we ventured out to find and discover new tastes of food and during that discovery we found a small Mexican restaurant named ‘Big Tomy’s. We first tried the chili dogs and Denver Omeletter…and both dishes were amazingly delicious. On our next visit, we tried the steak fajitas and we were not disappointed. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous! The location has convenient parking.
My mom's chili burger was very tasty. I ordered pastrami not so good and the bread didn't seem fresh but if you want an excellent burger I recommend.
My first time trying this spot. We were greeted immediately when we came to the door. We were escorted to the line and they made sure we were social distancing. Very organized how you enter and exit. Loved that!! Now the turkey burger superb!! Thick and juicy, simply delish. And the fries were fresh and crispy!! I would definitely go back here. I'm glad you all are back Big Tomy's!! See you real soon!!
I love this place, great for breakfast, very reasonably priced under $10. The people are super nice and the food's good. I actually go hear about once a week for breakfast.
They were not open for a while last year but now they are open and I go there at least twice a week. The same great people are still working there during this covid era. The food is fantastic and they have everything from burgers to Mexican food and everything in between fried zucchini chili burgers burritos breakfast it's very good and also dinners.
I've waited so long for this place to open up again, and I was delighted to taste their burgers once again. Tried their famous Chili Burger and it was more delicious than I remember it. Happy their back in business, and that places like this still exist in LA.
Always a the best fresh tomatoes, fresh food, something you can't get anywhere else. It's a LA landmark.
I've been coming to Big Tomy's since I was a kid. I moved out of state a few years ago and every time I come visit, it's a must stop. I'm glad they came back after it burned down. The neighborhood just wouldn't be the same without them. I was also glad to see some of the same employees still there from twenty years ago. If you've been here, you know they're just as much part of the experience.
Had a Cheeseburger here and I will say that I was definitely surprised at how delicious it was. I will be back in for this delicious burger at a great price!!!
I just found out about this place. It's pretty good
Still serving the best fried zucchini. Decent chilli.
I’ve been thanking them for bringing about a mix of my all time favorite; they serve chili cheese pastrami french fries that I stop by to pick up or order the majority of the time, and I love every single spec of what they have in their recipe. With that being said, if you need me, you know where I’ll be.
My Go 2 Spot! Food and Service Is Always A1... Love This Place!
Best breakfast burritos I have been driving commercially in LA for almost 50 years, and it still amazes me how many restaurants find new ways to destroy a breakfast burrito. Big Tommy’s is in the top three breakfast burritos that I’ve found in all of LA . I always have them add raw onions in it, and let it sit for five or 10 minutes, so the burrito cooks them right in! You won’t be disappointed!
We skipped dinner and got hungry late at night. This was open around the time and they had just recently remodeled their restaurant. The food was great, the prices were reasonable and the restaurant was clean and sanitary. The staff were average, they were easy to engage and friendly.
Great spot to grab some quick grub. Reasonably priced and the food was good. Typical burger stand vibes. My kids shared a breakfast plate which was a large filling portion. I had the pastrami and my husband had a chili burger. We all enjoyed the food and still had some to take home.
Love the Pastrami sandwich! The zucchini and onion rings are crisp. Thanks guys for fast and friendly service.
When I'm craving a charbroiled cheeseburger combo Big Tomy's is my westside go to. Their fries are a nice medium cut that is perfect for topping with chili, cheese and onions. They also make decent onion rings. Don't forget to order an orange bang as well. The staff are always friendly and efficient. (I'm so glad that the owners decided to rebuild and remodel after they shut down for a few years after a kitchen fire).
Love Big Tomy's ! BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger is my go-to. Cute inside diner vibe AND large outside diner tables, too! The staff is super nice and fast. (Frank, Tito, and everyone!) They accommodate my occasional request for lettuce wrap for my burger without giving me grief, which I appreciate:) Tito is super awesome in both knowing my order, and then I always see him working soo hard scrubbing mats outside. I only gave it a 4 star b/c the area outside right there, even though they have great, bright lighting in parking lot, sometimes has extra unhoused people floating around, and as a woman I get a little nervous going to and from my car at the later time I tend to go at. But otherwise, everything is great.
I have been wanting one of their delicious pastrami sandwiches for about 2 weeks, so I finally got a chance to stop by today. It did not disappoint. Picked up my household chili fries, chicken tender dinner and fries as well. They are all quite so I would say they loved it.
This place is fantastic! Came here after work (10 PM +) on a Saturday night and was the beneficiary of really excellent service, totally satisfying chili cheeseburgers, and in an old-school LA / truly authentic location. Very highly recommend.
The pastrami is amazing, the cook is quick enough to make you appreciate it, and takes his time enough to make you feel the quality of the work he does, very rarely have I seen a cook have that perfect balance.
Love that you can get a solid pickup for less than 10 bucks here.
It sucks that he changed the combos. Now we have to pay more money when other places make combos out of everything. Don't be greedy, and try to make up for the time you lost when you were closed. Make the combos again, and you'll see how people will come back stronger than ever. Some lady ordered some 50.00 in food, and the cashier charged her for extra thousand island dressing. Give people a break, and they'll return it 10 folds! Word of mouth goes a long way!!!.Also, don't burn the chicken tenders. They are not supposed to be dark when served. A nice golden brown looks more presentable
So glad this place is back. They were closed for at least two years due to a kitchen fire. The pandemic really slowed the reopening but now, they are!!!! They have the best burgers and fries!! They season the fries just right!!! They also have chili burgers (heavy) and chili fries (even heavier). They also have orange Bang! and that's always a winner!!
I have been a loyal customer since I can remember, around 2000 or so. Same cooks, even when they closed for a year or 2 after a fire. I was soo happy they reopened and that its the same cooks as before! Besides the fast awesome customer service. The food is exquisite!!!! Soooo good. Definitely worth it
I've been eating here since mid 2006 Food is Good!!
Waited for so long for this place to reopen after the fire they had. I had never been here before. If you're looking for a great greasy spoon good quality food, fast, large portions, this is the place! Breakfast, lunch or dinner, they do you right! Today we finally tried breakfast and it was great!
This is one of the best places in West LA to grab a breakfast burrito. The burgers are great too, but I’m always sure to grab a breakfast burrito after a night out.
The breakfast burritos are absolute fire 🔥 and the chili cheeseburger is to die for! This is the ultimate fast burger spot on the west side and it’s so underrated.
It is a rip-off of The Orginal Tommy's, but I actually like Big Tomy's better. I have been going here for 35 years. I no longer live in Los Angeles, but Big Tomy's is always my first stop when I come to town. They have added a lot of new items to their menu.
Came here for the first time and OMG when I tell you it was so so good! Hands down the best burger spot on Sawtelle this is a must try!
Really like the food at this little place. Haven't tried many menu items because I can't pass up the Patty Melt every time. Great salads! Had the tuna salad and side salad, simple but fresh, good quality ingredients with great salad dressings. Good fries come in mounds for to-go orders (have never dined in). Pastrami sandwich is very good, pricey, but they are everywhere these days and this one is better than most. Parking in back but spacious and easy.
Best Tuna Melt I tasted in my life!!! And it was my first time here randomly stopping by. Definitely coming back again. Tip the guys, they work hard and make everything w love.
Best service. Food is better than expected… & I even got an egg sandwich on rye bread. My favorite. But the staff is so nice. Everyone knows everyone here. Best Tommy’s around. Thank you!!!!!!!
Food served fast and hot off the grill! I enjoyed a big breakfast plate of 3 eggs scrambled with a generous helping of cheddar, 4 strips bacon, hashbrowns and 2 slices sourdough. Would go again today!
Chili Cheese Fries with Pastrami, wow. I am blown away at the quality and quantity of food I received. This is not your average chili, it is a meat sauce mildly seasoned, the cheese is melted, fries crispy and the pastrami is so much. The picture is after I've already eaten so much. We also got a Bacon Cheese Burger, it held up for the 18 minute drive home. The lettuce still has a crunch, onion evenly placed. Everything was great. Friendly service from Frank and other staff. We'll definitely be back soon.
Fast,Fun,Funnest and Only what I want for French Fries and Strawberry shakes right now and later then lol but doesn't it already sound better that way instead of coffee shakes or chocolate shakes extra thick for me/not sure if Big Tomy's makes a coffee shakes but there is.....chocolate,vanilla and strawberry ice cream I saw on the board the menu hanging up and across to read. I like Tomy's for short..I like Big Tomy's a lot and uh huh the booths are fit clean and comfortable. Thanks Tomy's!
Order the Onion Rings, you'll be amazed by how much you get in a regular order. I love the double chili burger with cheese, it's my goto. Why? It's big and tastes great.
Glad I finally made it here early in the AM Called in an order and delicious burrito was ready when I got there Going back for the chili
Stumbled upon Big Tomy's and had cheeseburger and fries. Super tasty. Lots of thousand island dressing. Fries were good, like they were hollow yet meaty. Staff was friendly, continually cleaning. Ate on the outdoor patio.
This is a 'must visit' when in West LA. Best bang for the $$ in the city. Really, really, good food. You could eat here everyday for a month and never have the same thing- variety and quality are top notch. And yes- they'll even make you an Arnold Palmer lemonade tea!
Glad to see this LA classic still standing after all these years. I used to go here for late night double chili cheeseburgers in the 80s. The food was always delicious. 40 years later I went back, and everything was just as I remembered it - great burger with a nice thick tomato and the chili and cheese on the double chili cheese burger and chili cheese fries blended together perfectly. Everything hit the spot! Thanks Big Tomy’s. (Sad to see Kelbo’s across the street is gone).
This place has a very big menu of food to choose from. A great selection of burgers, Mexican food and breakfast items. There are also fancier dinner items (served anytime) to choose from. The staff are very friendly and quick. You order and pick up your food at the counter so you can get in and out fast.
The burgers 🍔 and chili 🌶 cheese 🧀 fries 🍟 are great and relatively low cost compared to most restaurants that aren't fast food chains. 2 cheese 🧀 burgers 🍔, 1 chili 🌶 cheese 🧀 fries 🍟, and 1 drink 🥤 costs $30.
I’m a huge pastrami fan, and on my way home from the Federal Building, I decided to stop here. I was absolutely impressed — not just by the atmosphere and friendly service, but by the incredible quality of the food. The pastrami was seasoned to perfection. Definitely worth the stop and an absolute win for any pastrami lover!
Good day Googlers, here is another place I visited during my adventures up n down California. They have a large menu ranging from burgers to burritos to some very tasty pastrami chili cheese fries. I went with their regular cheese burger and really appreciate how this place doesn’t taste like those fast food chains out there. The veggies were fresh and the grilled patty reminded me of a hometown burger place I’d visit as a kid. Loved the pastrami chili cheese fries. The staff was friendly and helped me choose what I wanted. For a hometown place I’d recommend this place just be sure to bring an appetite cause that pastrami chili cheese fries was a meal in itself.
I feel like this place is always open and has everything on the menu. I got the huevos rancheros in the afternoon. Included saucy bell peppers and onions over eggs (came over easy which I forgot to tell I don’t like anything runny), lots of beans and sliced potatoes from the pan. We also got a steak sandwich and fries which the fries are sometimes the reason to go there, the seasoning is yummy! Found Orange Bang there too which is something I haven’t had in years as haven’t come across it at most restaurants anymore.

I just flew in from Massachusetts and needed something to eat while waiting for the studio set up a block away. Walked over, saw pastrami sandwich on the menu. Ordered it, took it back to the studio and hoovered it. Huge portion and very tender. I may know need a nap
Today was the first time that I have returned to this location after they reopen from the fire they had a few years ago ! I always have loved Tommy chili burgers the best in LA ! I grew up very close to Big Tommy's in West Los Angeles very fun memories ! My late father who passed away five and a half years ago he love big tommys and couldn't get enough
Casual burger joint open late. Their breakfast burritos are very popular. Staff is fast and no-nonsense. Seating is limited. Perfect for a late-night craving.
Great service. Just wanted a grilled cheese and fries. I was surprised when they asked me what kind of bread I wanted. Didn't see an option to add bacon so I just went with the basic. Grilled cheese was good but lacked a bit of buttery flavor you expect from the grill. The fries were so fresh they burnt my hands. They were excellent but I had to pair it with some no name ketchup that wasn't very good Service was excellent as well as the price. Please get better ketchup.
This place is so epic, and the guys working there last night were real gentlemen. Should have caught their names. It's not often you walk into a fast food joint just an hour before closing only to encounter a few guys working there who are actually passionate about the food in a real way and want to engage with us as they did. They were crackin jokes, makin people smile, and stirring up some bangin eats. The food here is exactly what it looks like. Old school burger joint with all the classics, and some additions of mexican influence that add that spicy picante zest that american burger joints have always been lacking. The ice cream is great too -- not van leuwen or whatever.. this stuff has that texture in the ice cream that takes me back to the little diner i used to go to as a kid in my home town. Much praise to these guys. Give them raises!! They deserve it. They're raising the guest experience, bringing back returning customers, and deserve to be compensated for it!! I'll definitely be back -- if nothing else, I'll be getting one of those hats. They got killer merch too.

Cool place. I'm guessing Greek owned. They have some Gyro plates. Seems like it's well operated. Didn't try the burger, but it looks like a Tommy's chili burger knock off. I'm sure it's good. The menu is pretty extensive. Had all kinds of breakfast, Salads and desserts even. The food came out in a very reasonable time frame. My breakfast omlette was piping hot. I ordered it with rice, beans and flour tortillas. I got corn😏, but other than that, solid place. Clean, courteous and food was well made. I'd recommend stopping in to try it out.
I used to go there a lot well this was until the fire they had in their building and of course the struggling with Covid-19 hasn't help many other businesses Anyways I went back as soon as they open up again to my surprise they didn't have the specials as before they sold the chili burgers combo and others including the fries and drinks Well not anymore We need to buy things separately paying for burger plus fries plus a medium drink it's $10 buck plus the famous breakfasts combos aren't listed on their menu. So I go there late at night 11pm or so I remember that place was a 24 hrs. good food great prices. Now I was the only customer at 11pm on Friday night. That was a sad feeling So 4 stars go to the flavor and the same ol' staff the new decoration it's cool too
First time here - always looking for new spots to try. Good selection of food from burgers to burritos. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Ordered the double cheeseburger - good amount of each ingredient, it didn’t feel like they skimped at all, which is nice. Food was good and I would go back again.
Zucchini fries are my go to here. They are shaped like fries not spears. Also the chili burger is not bad it has a lot of pickles. The bread didn't feel like it was toasted which made it taste dry and not soft. Service was quick and accurate.
First time here in over 15 years. They had a makeover and the place looks very updated and hip now, like a cool Burger Joint should be. This popular local favorite Burger Joint has been around for a long time. Basically, it's 2 guys cooking, 1 guy cleaning & helping the cooks and 1 guy manning the till, while also giving the orders at the Pickup Counter so they're pretty busy. Line was 5 deep, 5 tables full when I came late after 10pm. I went with the Triple Monster Cheeseburger and a Large Orange Bang👌 WOW, this burger was pretty delicious and hit the spot. Wasn't sure if I could eat it all, I don't have an appetite like I did when I was in My 20's. If you want something to fill you up, this would be a GO TO, for sure! Everything looked great, I was eyeing other people's meals and the pics on the menu above, lol. Restaurant is clean. Cool pics in the front dining room which are pretty much chairs facing the street and a counter wrapping around to eat. Then, there's a small dining room with about 10 tables. There's an outdoor patio. Restroom is out back separate from the main building. It looks nice and remodeled. They saved on using the old sink, I don't blame them for trying to save money for their small business. It DID stink like a Homeless person had been doing Bird Baths so, that makes sense that when I asked for a token for the restroom, the guy said he would meet me out back by the restroom to unlock it for me. Customer Service was above par. Guys were very friendly, just very busy. They never broke character even though they looked tired like they had worked all day. Very professional. I did see someone eating outside in their patio but, he looked homeless. GOD BLESS HIM. Parking Lot is in the back, enter on Sawtelle. Room for about 25 cars. Parking Lot looks sketchy like DTLA but as with any place, just pay attention to one's surrounding. Lots of Homeless in the area but, looks like this place doesn't have the problems associated with Businesses that deal with lots of the Homeless Issues. Typical Local Spot Food- Burgers, Mexican Food, Breakfast Items. I'll definitely come back in the future. Gotta hit cardio all week now, Lol
We were in the area and saw this place which had exactly what each of us was craving. I got a cheeseburger and my husband got the avocado burger. Both were very good. I had a huge slice of tomato, almost an inch thick but I didn't mind at all since I love tomatoes. Our son got the grilled cheese and finished it all. He's picky about grilled cheese so we were happy to see him enjoy his meal. We ordered a single order of fries for the 3 of us and there were still leftovers. Only giving 4/5 stars since this is your typical quick diner type of restaurant. Nothing was over the top delicious but we would stop by again for a good meal if we are in the area.
Reccomended by an LA native, it's certainly an experience. Always great to visit places that don't attract the tourists but does attract the locals. The "fries" were superb and go well with the toppings. The burger was pretty good too, pattys could be thicker and the chilli tasted a touch over cooked in my book but definetely something to try if you're in LA.
Stopped in for my first time last night because I live extremely close. Know they used to be 24 hours prior to the fire but now they are open early and close very late. It’s a traditional to go oriented spot where you can also dine in. They have traditional American and Mexican options and the free parking lot attached which is a real bonus. Pricing is also fair and the menu is large. They are most known for their Chili Cheeseburger so I wanted to try that for my first time. I will say it was seasoned well and the chili has a great taste. I don’t order that often so it was nice trying it again. The patties are not very large, almost the size of In-N-Out but a little larger. We also ordered the BLT with Avocado and overall it was OK because there was not much bacon in it compared to other places that I’ve been to recently. If they would add more bacon and Dijon, it would make it much better. We also ordered the french fries which I would suggest splitting one order because two orders is really a lot of fries and one would really cover enough for two people.
Best cooks in town. No matter what time of day, you can get a 5 ⭐ breakfast, lunch or dinner. Indoor, patio or to go .

Solid medium. Good textures and mix of toppings. Burger has flavor but not juicy or crisp. Fries are pretty good! They got some heft, but good crunch.
I gave this place 3 stars because of the poor attitude towards customer service. Having only visited this place for the first time, I was rudely informed for "only one person at a time in the restaurant". Now its understandable given the current situation, but could of been more professional about it, after there was no sign posted anywhere to validate his statement. Next when I was outside waiting to go in and reading the menu posted on the window, it clear reads and shows a "hamburger combo", but when asked how much does it cost, the answer was "everything sold separately". And then when I inquired as to why you clear offer a combo plate, the guys reply was, "it's not me the owner said no combos". I guess they forgot the golden rule for customer service, " the customer is always right!" Well on the plus side if things the food was very tasty indeed!
Big Tommy's on Pico Blvd promised a burger experience so glorious I could taste it from my home, but getting there was a whole adventure that should come with a warning label! After nursing my 600-pound self for 15 years without stepping foot in a restaurant, I decided to risk it for what I’d heard were the best burgers in town. Little did I know navigating the bumpy sidewalks and dodging errant curb ramps would take a full hour in my wheelchair. By the time I finally wheeled inside, I was more exhausted than a marathon runner! I ordered 5 of their Chili cheese double burgers, praying they’d be worth the struggle. An hour later, while I was fighting off a drool-induced tsunami, the burgers arrived, looking like golden crowns fit for a king. Sure, they were delicious, but wouldn’t it be nice if they’d work on that accessibility? Because let’s face it, a burger shouldn't require an adventure quest to enjoy it—just hand me my food and let the good times roll without a side of physical challenge!
They either changed the meat they use in the burritos or they changed the way it prepared. Either way, it's subpar. Burritos are soggy. Also, drink sizes are medium, large & extra large. Obviously, they dont know the definition of medium.
I’ve been wondering about this place ever time I Drive by. I was kind of disappointed though. ☹️ I was thinking about a burger but got a burrito instead. The burrito wasn’t wrapped correctly and it fell apart, it wasn’t all a loss though, I had chips to scoop out the food out of the burrito. Sadly the meat lacked flavor. I should have gone with the burger. 🥲

After driving past this dive burger shop for the past 20 years, we thought we missed our chance to try it when it burned down a few years ago. However during the pandemic it re-opened and we finally decided to give it a try. It matched our expectations to a tee. Meaning it wasn't great, but it was serviceable. When a place has been opened over 20 years, there’s obviously a lot of history associated with it. They proudly display that history on the wall with pictures and clippings of the history of the area. We ordered a chili cheeseburger with plain fries and a double chili-burger with chili fries. Note: the cheeseburger comes with mustard, tomato, pickles and chopped raw onions. First the good: everything was made to order so it was hot off the grill. They give you just the right amount of chili. Enough to get your hands dirty, but not enough to get all over your clothes. Also, no beans in the chili, just as God intended. The patties are 1/4 pound so there is some heft to them. There is a nice outdoor covered patio to eat in. Also the staff was nice. Someone, possibly the owner, even offered to bus our tray for us. Now the bad: the chili tasted like Hormel. Not much spice at all. They charge $1 to refill your soda. The burger also was just meh. Not bad, but not great either. I can totally see coming here after a night out drinking. Then it would be perfect. But sober, it was just mediocre. Are we glad we tried it? Definitely. Will we be back? Probably not.

SMFH VERY TINY HAMBURGERS!!... Still starving after I ate a double cheeseburger and 3 pancakes WTF🤔....this place Couldn't fill me up even after I sat down and ate a meal !! This place takes one hamburger Patty , cuts it down the middle and calls it 2 patty's. I don't know how They managed to mess up pancakes but I wasn't impressed with those either. Between their lackluster pancakes and the smallest hamburgers in the world , I'm never going back to this very nice looking restaurant again. One good thing I will say is that the place is obviously recently remodeled so it looks very nice , clean and modern
Went there tonight after I found out they just reopened. When someone orders zucchini sticks... probably a good idea to put some ranch in the bag. Went there mainly to get a double chill cheeseburger. I get home and take a bite of my burger...no chili. Guess maybe they are still trying to get everything organized there still. Obviously very disappointed. 10/18 Order#10532
Food was ok. Pretty standard but not bad. Price increased from the pics shown here. Ordered a egg & sausage burrito. Pics here show $7.99. Price went up to $12.49. Pretty big increase and not worth what you get for the price. Asked the guy what’s up with the price and he said the photo on here was old.
If you’re in a rush, don’t come here cause they take forever open taking and making your order
The breakfast we had was horrible, The waffle a dried out husk served with no syrup, the hash browns a yellow blob with skins mashed throughout. They offered no salt or pepper and it was cold, the cheese on my friend's omelet not even melted. Way over priced 40 something. The bathroom was an out building on par with the worst gas station you've ever been to
Was my first time today there. I ordered the chili cheese fries, after the third bite I saw a long hair in it. When I went to the front to adress the issue the cooks insisted it wasn't from them since they all have short hair. They insisted it was from me. NO not me. Didn't want to refund my money because they would be short on their register they said. I made it very clear that it wouldn't be at my fault. But they ended up giving back my money when they saw how upset I was becoming. Will never go back again!!!!
I ordered a big Tommy burrito it was so nasty. Like a quarter of the burrito was filled with sour cream so nasty. I spoke with the cashier to address the situation but he decided laugh about the situation. He told his colleague in Spanish something and they both thought it was funny. In business you need someone who is professional to be in the front lines of your business not any immature kid dealing with guest relations. Maybe you guys should invest in secret shop to see how the service is going so you see for yourself. Picture speaks for itself vs actual words.
Avoid Big Tommies' Taquitos Plate at All Costs OR BETTER YET— avoid this place. I don't know what I was expecting, but it definitely wasn't this. If I could give Big Tommies zero stars, I would. I ordered the taquitos plate, and I honestly don’t know where to start. First, the taquitos were more like sad, limp sticks than crispy, golden bites of joy. I could tell they were sitting around for way too long, and instead of a satisfying crunch, I got an oddly chewy, soggy mess that just fell apart. The filling inside was a bland mystery meat that tasted like it had been seasoned with disappointment and regret. I could barely taste any seasoning, which, let’s be honest, is the bare minimum you’d expect from a place that’s supposed to specialize in this stuff. Oh and let me say this…. It taste like the taquitos they you buy from the market… yeah, those microwave ones! The sides? Don’t even get me started. The rice was undercooked and had the texture of cardboard, and the beans? Dry as the Sahara, with zero flavor. I tried to douse them in hot sauce just to give them some life, but even that couldn't save it. The guacamole was a sad, a green water down mush that tasted like it had been scraped out of a plastic tub days ago. And don’t think I was spared on the presentation either. The whole plate looked like it had been thrown together by someone who had no idea what they were doing. It was a mess—just a sad pile of food that didn’t even look appetizing. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone, even if you’re starving and nothing else is open. Big Tommies, you’ve completely lost me. I’ll rather spend $30 at Burger King.
Grilled pastrimi.very good!!!I ordered some nachos asada and were terrible...nothing like king taco nachos.i give 0 stars
Delicious food but they lock the doors 20-30 minutes before actual close. Why even set the close to that time? Just set the close to 11 and then clean. If you want to get out by 12am then set your close time earlier. Everyone knows if you close at 12:00 am you don’t get to decide to stop cooking or taking customers at 11:30. You stop at close. We arrive plenty earlier enough with 20 minutes till, that’s plenty for fries etc.
Horrible food pastrami tasted funny and I’m not in was a dark funny looking color. Tuna sandwich no flavor and horrible. Only thing was cashier was nice but everything tasted really nasty 🤢 🤮 will not be returning.
