The views are amazing!

Absolutely awesome architecture and vibe. A brutalist gem. Service was superb. It does rotate somewhat quickly, so do keep that in mind.

This place can definitely make you have GREAT memories! I went for a B-day dinner as a surprise family dinner and my guests love the views our waiter Javier C went above and beyond and even brought ice cream with a candle and offered to take group pictures which it was so kind of him. Also they offered valet parking and they were very helpful too. The only thing i could suggest is to consider having more chicken options in their menu.

Great food, great atmosphere, great location and great views. It's a little bit tricky to get up here depending on which Tower your room is in. When I got here, I was seated right away and requested a window seat which they had one available. When I sat down, I started looking at the menu and then when I looked up, the scenery looked different LOL I didn't realize that the restaurant rotates before coming here. But that is awesome. You get a really good 360° view of the city which is great and I went at a time that I was able to see the sunset over Los Angeles. The food menu is a little bit small but overall there are several good things on the menu. The Miso soy Salmon is what I ended up getting and it was worth it. It was a good piece of salmon and was extremely flavorful. Hanover all the wait staff are helpful and friendly. Overall, this is a great restaurant if you're staying in the hotel and looking for the best view in town.

BonaVista Lounge is truly a unique spot in Los Angeles — the revolving view alone is worth the visit! Watching the city slowly rotate around you while you enjoy a drink is an experience you can’t really find anywhere else, and it makes the atmosphere feel special whether you’re stopping by for a casual evening or bringing out-of-town guests. The service was outstanding — warm, attentive, and welcoming without being overbearing. The staff really made the experience feel elevated, which is always a standout when you’re in such a prime location. The food was decent, with fresh presentation and nice portion sizes. I tried the salmon salad and edamame, which were good, though not particularly memorable compared to the view and the cocktails. I think the menu could benefit from a few more signature or elevated items that match the uniqueness of the lounge itself. That said, everything was prepared well and the cocktails were refreshing and well-balanced. Overall, I’d highly recommend BonaVista Lounge if you’re looking for a memorable ambiance, incredible service, and one-of-a-kind revolving views of Los Angeles. Come for the experience and drinks, and treat the food as a solid, lighter complement to the real stars of the show — the service and the view.

Amazing view from the restaurant! The drinks were fairly good and the food selection was small but I don’t complain because I could see this place being somewhere you go for a drink and the view.

Happy Hour with a view. I think other hotels and places (Vegas, ATL) have done this with a little more success. But the food was great and it’s a nice place to meet a friend for a drink if you’re already in the hotel.

The Bonavista Rotating Lounge is a great concept with beautiful views that change by the second. We only had drinks, which were good, and they offer a full menu. The ambiance is more old-school, and the service was okay.

Go in the lobby and you'll find the one used for the True Lies scene with the horse. If you are an Arnold fan like I am, it's a bonus. Then at the end, you go to the 34th floor and you'll find the stairs uni my picture. Service is okay. Drinks are very light and for the price, accept that you pay for the view. Which is fantastic, of course.

Excellent service. Great place to sit and talk and look at the view, if you're not too picky about what you eat and drink. The pita crisps with the hummus were nearly inedible. And the beer selection is abysmal. I don't think they had anything from the Great State of California. It's a bar! How much trouble would it be to have a larger selection of quality bottled beer?

This review is for the bonavista lounge, not the steak house. Whatever you do, do not, I repeat, do not get food here. It was the worst food I’ve had in a very long time. I ordered a smash burger. There was nothing “smash” about it. The bun was stale, onions rubbery, and the meat was definitely once frozen in between paper and other patties no doubt. I had to send it back which, I absolutely hate doing. I could barely stomach one bite. My husband ordered the crab and edamame. The crab was watery, from a can, and the edamame was over cooked and mushy. However, the view is amazing and loved that the lounge rotates. I would come again ONLY for the drinks, views, and the architecture.

I have not received any return call and this matter is still unresolved. The Bonavista basically stole my money at this point and a report of theft as been reported to my bank. The management of the Bonaventure Hotel is absolutely incompetent.
