LOVE. Definitely will return! The service is attentive, and they have a great selection of rolls that have all types of fresh ingredients and special combinations. Highly recommend their veggie croquette, Kendall roll, albacore salmon roll, and Piak’s fried roll!! Super tasty with generous portions. I also like their meat to rice ratio. My friend and I left the place both so fulled and satisfied! The cash discount makes the price a total steal here around the area🥢🥢🥢 10/10😋
I have been going to California Roll Factory for 18 years. I always order the omakase course.I am very satisfied every time, so I highly recommend it to everyone. Please try the omakase. Please request the matcha tempura ice cream for dessert!
We’ve been coming to this sushi spot for over 15 years—and now we get to share it with our kids, who love it just as much as we do. It’s a small, cozy place with an inviting atmosphere that feels like home. The chefs are incredible—not just talented, but genuinely kind—and the service is always thoughtful and attentive. After all these years, it’s still our favorite. A true neighborhood gem.
Excellent Japanese Chef Katsuo run sushi shop. Fav rolls- White Fish Aburri, Kinta Roll, Blue Crab Hand roll. Salmon belly sashimi rocks. No reservations, self paid park lot, free street parking. 10% cash discounts.
the freshest fish. the place isn’t very pretty but staff are nice and food is great. had a great experience
Warm and welcoming place woth super fresh and flavorful sushi. Amazing value for what you get. Highly recommend if you love 🍣 🍣 🍣
This is a neighborhood gem. Freshest sushi, friendly service and good vibes all around. My daughters love their tempura dinner and I love their yellow tail sashimi, my husband loves the Chenzo roll. If you're a rude customer, stay away.
This Sushi restaurant is the best in LA - the price is great and it's very delicious!! Everybody at the restaurant is friendly and welcoming and, most of all, the sushi making technique of KAZUO, the Chef, is incredible. You will think that it is a restaurant that specializes in sushi rolls because it’s called "California Roll Factory", but they actually serve traditional style sushi, with an artisan technique as well! What makes them special is that they don't do the "suteshari" method, which is when the sushi chef takes rice out of the rice container to make sushi, and then puts what they didn't use back in the container. They don't use this method at good sushi restaurants in Japan. They don't use this method at good sushi restaurants In Japan, because it is considered unhygienic. I've lived in Japan for more than thirty years and have been to many famous sushi restaurants, but even in Japan, it is getting harder and harder to find places that keep the traditional style like California Roll Factory does, so I was very surprised to find a sushi restaurant like this in Los Angeles. I am very thankful and happy that it exists! The reason they use plastic plates is because the owner did not want anyone to get hurt when the plates fall.
One of the few great Californian fusion sushi restaurant in town. The chef has managed to combine Californian, Mexican and japanese sushi into one flavorful experience. The service is great and there is a 7% disc for cash payment.
Fresh roll quality. Diversity of menus but there were some items that were not available (uni and oysters). Not much rice on rolls which was good and provided 10% discount when paid in cash.
Super Duper Fast & Delicious!!! Judging a book by its cover has never been so true. I almost walked past this little hole in the wall gem. Everything was absolutely delicious and intriguingly named. It was so easy to order based on the fun names! I ordered the Aburi Yellowtail Jalapeno Sushi,Picasso Roll, Some Like it Hot, & Naughty Roll. I had to of course wash it down with a Sapporo beer. By all means don’t forget to try their Banana Tempura & Green tea ice cream dessert! The only regret here is that I was too full to try more selections!
The best special rolls in LA, they have very fresh salmon and really great combinations of ingredients. I highly recommend Donut, Philadelphia, Santa Monica, Vizzy, Spicy scallop, Greg’s, Apogee, Bel Air rolls and all the rest of their menu.
Have been coming to this place since I was a little girl. It's one of my favorite sushi places. The staff is friendly and the sushi is amazing. I've never had anything that I didn't like. The rolls are huge compared to other sushi place so. If I was reaching, the only complaint I would have is that it's small. I would give it 10 stars if I could.
Authentic sushi place! Their shushi and rolls melt in my mouth instantly. The chef's recommandation waa great. He told me what's good today. TODAY not generallly. Definitley going there again.

Chef is great to talk to , atmosphere was homely and very Japanese and the food was sublime it was the best sushi I have had and the sushi just melts in your mouth.
25 years later and this place still knocks it out of the park! Baked scallop roll is still the all star! The big surprise though was the black snapper…it is melt in your mouth delicious.
I haven't been here in a while but went back recently. It's nice to see the owner and Francisco still putting out the most delichious sushi ever! The best rolls and nigiri at a great price. Keep up the great work!

Great selection of cut rolls. They have spicy tuna stuffed tempura jalapeño that's delicious. Their lemon pepper tuna cut roll is amazing! Chefs are great! Highly recommend! Not too many tables

This place is good, but not great. The rolls are probably the better choice. Salmon neck was pan fried. The chicken teriyaki was good, but again, not spectacular. The garlic edamame was buttery. The prices are about average.

Unfortunately, our experience wasn’t the best. We had to wait quite a long time for our food, and the service was disappointing. The waiter wasn’t very attentive we had to ask for the menu several times before finally getting it. The atmosphere was nice, but overall the service needs improvement. Also overpriced
