Quality matcha and great service. They promptly took our orders and took time to make the drinks with care. You can get coffee or matcha. They offer various types of milk (almond, soy, oat, etc.). There are also bottled drinks and pre-packaged foods in their fridge. This small, sensibly-designed spot seats an impressive number of people. It’s not too loud inside. We saw a lot of people studying here. They also have a small outdoor seating space which is perfect for those sunny summer days.

Just came with my daughter for the first time! My Spanish latte, my daughter strawberry Matcha are so delicious!! And the breakfast burrito is amazing!!! We will be back for sure!

First time here. Friendly staff, I like their breakfast burritos and normally I don’t go for sweet coffee drinks, but the banana bread latte isn’t too sweet and has a good flavor.

Best cappuccino I have had in a long time. 10/10 recommended if you love coffee. I Staff is also very friendly:)

We live pretty close by and this is our neighborhood café to go to. Their matcha is so delicious, high quality and they give a good copious amount so if you need your caffeine boost you got it. Love the strawberry matcha, matchachaga and matcha rose!!

Gold and white modern California vibe. Thoughtful layout, seating in and out and showcasing some creative drinks: banana bread latte?! Street/metered parking, can be tricky but also at the north end of the Sawtelle area madness, so a bit easier. Medium roast brew for $4.50 was delicious. Great vibe and ideal for a meetup with friends or chill coffee time

The rose matcha and spinach feta pastry are both delicious. It's pleasant sitting outside under the umbrellas too.

i got a cereal milk latte.... brilliant. i'm a big fan of flavor over sweetness when it comes to matcha lattes and this was nicely balanced. kind baristas and an overall calm vibe inside when i went. a decent amount of indoor seating as well as a front patio. they source their own matcha from kagoshima - although unclear what cultivars are in the blend. creative menu with some classics and a nice selection of pastries and vegan parfaits.

Matcha latte with oat milk is very smooth. Iced matcha with strawberry macadamia nut milk is fragrant and yummy. I’ve also tried their coffee with oat milk - also very good. Update: The hot Chagaccino with almond milk is so smooth and is a yummy low-calorie option.

There are lots of choices for milk alternatives and they also serve matcha along with grab and go food offerings. Service: The staff was friendly and efficient in preparing my order. My servers have always took great care in preparing my drinks. Ambiance: This place has a fun decor and you get to watch the staff fix your drinks. It has a good flow with indoor outdoor seating but the indoor might as well be outdoor as the sliding glass is usually open to the outside.

The cozy ambiance and friendly staff add to the overall wonderful experience. However, one point for improvement could be the availability of ceramic mugs, which would enhance the coffee-drinking experience. Perfect for a relaxing coffee break.

Delicious coffee, matcha, and breakfast burritos. Spanish coffee mmm! Nice spot to sit with others, either inside or outside. Layout was better in 2024.

Got a banana bread matcha latte, was pretty decent

Ordered the breakfast burrito. Portion size is good if you're looking for a quick bite to go. The condiments complimented the burrito. Wished the burrito had more bacon. Overall it was tasty

Chitchat is my fave neighborhood cafe. I love walking to get the banana bread latte with oat milk and then breakfast burrito with cilantro sauce. The guy named Jake or Jack who works there takes super cool photos of palm leaves in Bali and has quite a passive-agressive personality. They also need more seating because 3 tables in the shade isn't cutting it for a popular cafe on Sawtelle and I'm sitting on the curb across the street 😘

Nice spot for matcha. I really liked the strawberry milk matcha latte, not a lot of places do that. They also have a large selection of matcha drinks too. The drink isn’t too sweet which is nice.

Parking is metered street except for one street across from the store. No more edible rose petals on the rose matcha latte anymore. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch latte had no taste of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, but the coffee was decent nonetheless. Highlight was the ham and cheese croissant, it had relish pickles and dabs of mustard inside. Would only go back for a simple latte and the croissant.

The drinks were good but not special enough that I would come back to pay $8 again. The Hulk is an espresso + matcha and I liked the taste but it’s just way too expensive. We also got the Ginger Tumeric Chai and I didn’t like that one as much. It was too sweet for me and the sweetness still didn’t help with the taste. The vibe of the place was really cute and the drinks are definitely different and creative but I still don’t feel like paying $7-8 for them.

Matcha cappuccino was HALF A CUP 😅 and it was just matcha with no milk flavor or sweetener. The rose matcha tasted just like rose water. Very disappointing. Prices weren’t cheap either.

I ordered 5 drinks and 6 croissants. You say you can’t accommodate that? How many customers are you serving each day? 3? Original review : Cancelled my delivery last minute for a company event. I suggest you do not order here if you need to get your food for sure.

This isn't going to be a very good review. First thing, I had to initiate the conversation with the cashier who just stared at me without saying a word. Red flag 1. I watched the barista use an electric face massager that had a whisk attached to it, in order to stir the matcha. Red flag 2. Now for the final red flag, my matcha has no matcha taste, it's strictly milk. I understand it's unsweetened, but unsweetened doesn't mean the color of the matcha and the taste of matcha should be non existent. (yes some green, but very lightly colored green is no Bueno) Thumbs down. Tiktok wild for this one.

They don't even offer to give you a receipt and then demand that you have one to advertise for them even though you posted a photo of the product you bought with the store right behind the product you bought. Also if they paid for a billboard to advertise for them they would not be asking for a receipt, so why do I need a receipt to advertise for them on social media??? Nobody wants to advertise for free, everyone wants to profit, and nobody wants a billion obstacles like a receipt between them and profiting off an advertisement.
