Cofax is my favorite coffee spot in California! Amazing atmosphere, delicious burritos, great coffee, and the friendliest staff. Always a perfect start to the day!
Cofax is easily one of my favorite spots in LA. I’m absolutely obsessed with their bacon breakfast burrito — it’s perfect every single time. Paired with an Americano, it’s my go-to morning ritual. The vibe inside the shop is something special: warm, authentic, and full of character. It just feels good to be there. You can tell there’s love and intention behind everything — from the food to the music to the design. Huge thanks to the people who created this place — you’ve built more than just a café. You’ve built a space that feels like home. 🙏
My wife picked up 2 breakfast burritos from Cofax — bacon, and pastrami. Overall, both pretty delicious with the pastrami taking a slight edge. I would order it again.
This place never misses for me. Chai was amazing! It’s very sweet fyi. The burrito is so crispy!
The last of my recent birthday cravings was a good breakfast burrito. Cofax has good buzz for theirs so I found my way over for a brunch meal. The chorizo burrito was tasty, fresh, and full of flavor. The two salsas gave the taste an extra punch. They definitely offer a great breakfast burrito.
🌯COFFEE & BURRITOS🌯 10/10 Breakfast Burritos. I had a Bacon Burrito with the Iced Vanilla Latte, my fiancé had the Chorizo Burrito with the Iced Americano. They come with two dip options, a Salsa and Pico De Gallo. Highly recommended!! WiFi: No Restroom: No

Their Americano and bacon breakfast burrito is my go to comfort breakfast. Had it at least 10 times since discovering. Thank you cofax!
Saw a review about the pastrami breakfast burrito and tried it out. Oh my goodness, it exceeded expectations -one of the best burritos
I have had the chorizo burrito in my breakfast burrito rotation for years. The key is the hash mix of peppers, onions, chorizo, and potatoes. You'll want to eat it right away to enjoy the tortilla strips while they're still crunchy. DELICIOUS 😋

If your a Sydney Koufax fan or not this Cafe pays homage to the Dodger greats like Tommy Lasorda, Vince Scully, and the many star players of LA fame. This was my first time and its hit spot with 20-30 females, and a great place for dog owners to bring their dogs inside to rest from the Fairfax Ave streets. I had the Hibiscus Tea with the Veggie Breakfast burrito that was cheesy delicious it just needs slightly hotter salsa or a chulula. My wife and her girlfriend had the bacon breakfast with a very sweet vanilla latte to wash it down. I'd definitely go here again if I was visiting Fairfax village. Love the LA vibe.
Ordered the impossible burrito for delivery. It was pretty darn delicious. My two critiques are (1) they actually got my order wrong and included serranos when I asked for them on the side (it was an option to remove them entirely so it seemed like this would be possible) - still delicious, but a bit disappointing; (2) that potato they put in there was amazing but it was only in like, two bites. Need to put more of the potato in there or distribute it better!
Smallish coffee joint with a selection of about 10 different donuts that don't look like much, all irregular like hand-made by a toddler, the glaze thickness is inconsistent, the donut base is good, toppings and flavors delicious. I had one made of donut holes topped with corn flakes & honey that was pretty awesome. Another with some salty glaze was just OK. Be patient if you want to park nearby.

*The burritos will make it worth it* This place popped up on my best breakfast burritos list. I will say this the pastrami burrito is worth every dollar that they ask for. Also I was going to leave them a one star. The service here was terrible and the staff were not polite to me. Although while I was there, I saw a homeless guy come in and they gave him a free burrito and drink. That made me feel better about this place. So I couldn’t leave a one star review. This place also gets really crowded but not in a bad way. They move as quickly as possible and they are friendly to the regulars. If you want a great burrito this place is worth a try.
This place used to be a go-to but quality and consistency have gone WAY down hill. Last 3 times I’ve been my burritos haven’t been cooked or heated evenly. The assembly is all over the place so you never get a bite of more than one ingredient at a time. And the cheese isn’t melted 😭 (#1 breakfast burrito rule!!) despite asking for it grilled well. Never used to be like this. Officially saying goodbye to a former favorite 🥲💔
Ordered the impossible chorizo burrito. Very small for a $15 burrito and not full. Avocado is +$2 and burrito was probably 60% chorizo with one fried egg. Good flour tortilla but wouldn’t order again.
Sure the burrito was fairly crispy which I like for breakfast, but 14 dollars and not enough egg in there leaves me wanting more and feeling a little used. 😢

Maybe it's just the hype about this place but we were sorely disappointed. The pastrami breakfast burrito was lacking , the cashier couldn't figure out how to sell a side of pastrami and was just unhelpful in general... With so many options, why here? Bacon breakfast sandwich was decent. Salsa options were ok.

I came into this cafe on my way to a sample sale around the corner. The espresso and matcha prices were high ($8+) so I asked how the drip coffee was. The barista told me good so I went ahead and ordered. When I first tried my coffee I thought it tasted off-super sour and watery. So I took a look at the bar and saw on the counter there was 5 day expired milk! I let them know about the milk and asked them if they used it in my coffee. They didn’t apologize for the expired milk, told me they used a different one, and told me no, the taste is probably just the “seasonal beans”. So you want it to taste like that?! Also, no offer for a new coffee to be made. I’m grossed out!
Years ago this place was a top spot for me. The burritos were uniquely made and incredible and when I first started going here in 2018-2019, they cost about $13.50. Now they’ve increased in price significantly and decreased in quality and taste even more so. I really wouldn’t recommend going here for burritos - the hype of this place is dying with the rest of Fairfax and its a shame places like these do their community and supporters dirty by raising prices to serve a bad product.

Great food. Not sure if the woman working on Christmas Eve was having a bad day, a tad racists, a jerk or used to dealing with Uber Eats drivers. However, she was rude, wouldn’t speak directly to me, look up or acknowledge I was there. She just sorta mumble “what do you want”. Kept texting, pointed at the kiosk and then asked me to fill out the tip section.

Today, I went to Cofax Coffee on Fairfax Avenue in Los Angeles. The staff was abrupt, cool and answered any questions I had as if I were bothering them. I tasted their drip coffee, which was 2 or 3 hours old. They told me, "It was made fresh less than an hour ago." I do not understand why they need to lie to their customers. I will not be returning to Cofax Coffee again.
