Got the steak bbq over rice, absolutely delicious with sizable portions that justify the prices. The meat was delicate but not too soft, with that elusive charred flavor that makes grilled steak so good. Kimchi and side salad were forgettable but the meat exceeds expectations.

Huge portion sizes! Probably enough for 1.5 meals. I'd recommend the spicy squid or the beef plate. Haven't had the bulgogi but I hear that one is also good. The place is cash only though so have it on you or use the sketchy ATM behind the building. Limited seating.

Open late. The kalbi was tasty and plentiful. The kimchi was nice and the service was good. Heated outdoor seating makes for a comfortable experience in the heart of Westwood. Highly recommended.

You can experience various Korean foods. The food was delicious, especially kimchi fried rice. It's close to UCLA, so there are many places where you can see. The store was supposed to be eaten outside.

Quite surprised at the authenticity of the food at this, literally, a “hole in the wall”. The rice cake dish was pretty good, the oden kimbap was very tasty and their kimchee was legit. Better than some restaurants in ktown.Would definitely come back!

Gushi is a great and quick bite at a fair price. Expect limited seating, especially at busy hours, with some tables needing replacing. However, the food is excellent and the portions are huge. I highly recommend the combo plate with their beef bugolgi (they call it Gushi) and chicken teriyaki. The plates come with a side of great and spicy kimchi as well as a side salad with ginger dressing. Service can be a bit iffy. This, along with their available seating caused me to take one star.

This place is pretty delicious. I tasted this place a long time ago (2018) and the taste was exactly what I remembered (today 2023). I also bought the extra veggies and it was immaculate. I wish I would’ve purchased extra teriyaki sauce - please do it to make this a 5- I love saucy food. Dad got the combo of steak and chicken and he was very pleased with the meats. A bit of parking space, wasn’t difficult to park. No restrooms and a good amount of outside seating. Great quick stop. Foods out in minutes. Friendly staff.

Pretty good Korean food with a limited, uncovered, seating area. The ramen is a bit spicy but lacks flavor. The portion size is very generous. Most items on the menu come with little to no vegetables, unless you order specifically for it. The seating area does not have air conditioning but has some ceiling fans, so it could get a bit hot in summer.

Always my first choice to grab a quick lunch or dinner. They are never stingy with the meat haha, especially when I order a combo plate. Rice underneath the meat is fully covered. Sometimes the chicken is a bit dry and hard but taste great with their sauce! They provide two kinds of sauce, one spicy one non spicy. Bibimbap is another great choice with plenty of vegetables. Tofu soup is much better than I expect. Recommended: beef tofu soup, plate with chicken and gushi, and bibimbap. A few outdoor seats and no indoor seat

What a gem of a find! Don’t the the divey appearance fool you. Super affordable menu for yummy Korean BBQ. I had the Kalbi platter, which is the beef short ribs. Meet was perfectly grilled and heaped on top of rice. It comes with a side of kimchi and small salad. Kimchi was just the way I like it, slightly fermented. Great value for just $17. I’ve been to fancier restaurants with the same food charging more money that couldn’t match up to the quality here. Highly recommend!

I used to come here all the time when I was a student around 2016-2019. Food portion was big and filling with lot of meat at an affordable price (~$15)!

Ordered takeout dinner here. Friendly, nice staff and convenient location. However, rice wasn’t great, some was clumped together and sauce was not so blended well (rice is white shown in pic). For around the same price you can go to ktown (I suggest Ham Ji Park for the most delicious kimchi fried rice). I think this is overpriced for the quality but the portion size is sizable so if you’re super hungry this can last 2-3 meals (at least the kimchi friend rice).

There was a new cook tonight the lady at the counter refused to refund me and I was a repeat customer but will no longer be returning as my dish was absolutely terrible the triple beef bowl was bland and the portions were much smaller as well also the meat was all fat and disgusting with no flavor, barely any rice !! It’s unfortunate as the food is usually really great :( sadly they don’t wanna keep returning customers as they don’t refund loyal patrons.

Your Manager is rude and dismissive. When I complained about the 30 min wait she rudely told me that my order would take 30 mins because the restaurant just opened. She further told me rudely that if I didn’t want to wait the order will be canceled. This is the USA we expect managers to be curtesy and pleasant. Your manager needs to learn how to talk with respect and gratitude to your customers. She doesn’t need to be RUDE. I only come here because my son loves Spam and Egg. I will endeavor to find another restaurant who’s manager doesn’t acts like she HATES her job. She’s awful. She’s unpleasant, unprofessional, unkind, obnoxious.
