It's a cool place to enjoy Korean sashimi with different sorts of soups and spicy Korean chowder. They serve Soju, which is a Korean rice alcohol & beers 🍻 as well. The services are really good. The waiters and the waitresses are very nice. It's little expensive, but it's worth it. Gotta check it out!
Food was good and for the amount you get, it was a good deal. For 4 adults and 2 children, we were all pretty stuffed. We got combo D that included a wide variety of dishes, which at first we thought wasn't going to be enough, but then it just kept on coming. 2 of my essential banchans were there: a potato dish (salad in this case) and cucumber kimchee. They also had raw shrimp, which was a first for me, it was pretty good. Seating seemed private with tall dividers, parking wasn't bad at the time I visited. They use table bells for service, which is nice. Only negative would be at the end, I felt a little rushed to leave, but to be fair, a line was forming and we were mostly done.
Local friends brought us here for a night out having Korean seafood. We got the XL set meal to feed 7 people…was good size for small eaters. The seafood was fresh and all the side dishes were very well prepared and so many items. The “live” octopus is always a fun eating experience 👍
One of my favorite korean styled sashimi restaurant. Various combo menues and side dishes . Fresh halibut sashimi with korean hot sauce-gochujang- is my recommendation. Spicy stew-maeuntang- as well. Not cheap but worth. Reservation recommended.
A place where taste and service are in perfect harmony, offering the best value for the price. The delightful service and the variety of dishes, especially the fresh sashimi and assorted sashimi combo, bring a smile to my face. The generous portions are so delicious that they make me want to come back. It's the perfect place to enjoy with family, colleagues, or good company. Reservations are a must.
I love this place so much — it’s casual, og and not fussy and has all of the best skidashi (side dishes). I usually am the type to like to gatekeep but I want to leave a review bc the owners are so nice and let me take all of the side dishes home bc I felt so bad wasting it all 🥰🥰🥰 One feedback is I do think that the marinated crabs should be an extra cost at the end and maybe slightly meatier crabs !
Okay. Its probably the best sashimi place in ktown. Ive been to many, but no other place hits it as consistently as jeju does. Authentically Korean, not a Japanese style. They also take reservations.
My go to place for some fresh, tasty, extremely filling joint for Korean Sashimi (Hwe). From start to finish every side dish, banchans and main courses are AMAZING. Every time they bring out a plate you'd think oh that must be the last course but NO. It's endless. Like at least 20 different course meals endless. So make sure to pace yourself, you've been warned. 광어&우럭 are super fresh! Bill comes to be about $60-80/ person with some soju. Def recommended
Amaaaazing food if you love seafood this place is for you. Everything is sooo fresh. You must get the live octopus and the (화로) hwaro combo. Both the octopus and the lobster come out moving they’re so fresh. We were seven people and could barely finish all the food. The soup at the end is SO GOOD.
Price increased to $198 with Sasimi and side dishes for 3~4 people. Usually satisfied with sasimi quality and sides. But not always. 4/5 is the average rates.
Awesome Korean style fresh sashimi restaurant. Food was great and fresh. Plenty of side dishes with order of sashimi plate. Friendly staff. Fast paced.
I don’t know why this place doesn’t have much positive reviews. If you are looking for authentic traditional korean full course sushi, this is one of the best in LA. Of course, this is nothing like high end omakase but it’s worth your bucks. They give you tones of food. The service was great and very fast. Accessible parking. The interior and exterior can be improved.
Love all the sashimi side plates, but make sure to go early so else you will be waiting for seats.
One of the few OG "hwe" spots left in ktown that is legit.
Thank you for the excellent customer service and for providing a fun dining experience!

The sashimi was very fresh, and all the food served was delicious.
The lunch menu continues to offer exceptional value, and the food quality remains consistently high.
I visited LA from Hawaii and this was my first dining in LA. Severs are very kind, and food was tasty. You would have bunch of side dishes when you order sashimi set. It may make you full stomach before getting main dish. I highly recommend this place if you love raw seafood.
Awesome food, great service but get ready to pay $$$. The lowest dinner set was $89. Make sure you tske 4 people. We couldn't finish our set with plenty of food left over.
Sashimi was fresh and good. Side dishes were not good. Raw crab and the final course (soup) tasted pretty bad.

Raw fish is good, and other side dishes are very good. Service is wonderful. However, fried onion and green onion needs to be more considered. The fries become biger and biger, and are not crispy. Also, nurungji, 누룽지, has the smell of overcooked, 탄내.

The side dishes weren’t fresh. Tasted like couple days old. The fish is just medium quality. Its better to buy the same amount at h mart for third of the price. The thing that made me write is that the service was absolutely terrible. No water, no plate, no soy sauce plate, had to wait extra 20 min after reservation time. The price is wayyyy too high for the service and quality. Would not recommend. Oh and last thing, you will not find parking here, just take uber here if u wanna eat here badly.
