The home made whipped cream is literally the icing on the cake. Salted caramel and nutella are my personal weaknesses and I do love the pistachio. Her banana bread is really really really yummy. Its so moist and sweet. Great with coffee.

Cute lil shop with a lot of pastries namely cheesecake which I’m not the biggest fan but damn this lady makes all kinds & hands out samples too such as the salted caramel, strawberry which I tried & loved. Went in for a bread so I walked out with the banana bread but should’ve gone with vegan chocolate muffin. Next time!

Jennifer Pennifer is a westside gem! Her cheese cakes are incredibly moist and made to perfection. My favorite are the individual cheesecake bites in different flavors like red velvet. I love supporting this small business! So happy to have them on our side of town.

I was helped by two very nice ladies. I had turkey sandwich with avocado that was very very good. While I was waiting for my sandwich, the second lady came out to ask if I wanted a sample of cheesecake. I asked about something I saw down at the bottom of the display case which turned out to be bread pudding. I am a fiend for bread pudding! I bought a slice and did not regret it. I will have to go back again and try the cheesecake.

Jennifer Pennifer Bakes is a cozy little gem! Their pastries are fresh and delicious, and the coffee is smooth and rich. The staff is warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to relax. Can’t wait to visit again!

Been here about 6 or 7 times and 5 stars all-around. I’m not vegan but I’ve tasted their vegan coconut chocolate cake and it’s amazing. Also recommend the cheesecake bites, coffee cake and most awesome is the savory bread pudding. It’s addictive

I just moved into the Palms neighborhood so I am thrilled to find a sweet little local coffee shop that I can walk to. Everything is VERY reasonably priced which isn't always the case with privately owned shops. Jennifer and her staff are SO great! They all welcome me in with a smile and good conversation. I feel so good knowing I'm supporting a local shop run by a kind & friendly female business owner. I've been vegan for 6 years and they have a handful of great vegan food options - everything I've tried has been excellent. And they have soy & oat milk for coffee! They also have some gluten free options too for those looking for that. Can't wait to continue to eat my way through their menu :) Thanks Jennifer for a lovely start to my day!

I've been coming here for almost two years now and have normally gotten the cheesecake or the vegan chocolate cake. Recently though I ventured to get the veggie sandwich which is amazing. Jennifer always has the freshest ingredients and will inform you of what ingredients she has for the day. She can also make the sandwich vegan. I honestly cannot recommend this place enough from the friendly staff to the delicious food and cheesecake!

I loved their basque cheese cake. One of the best cheese cake I had. A big slice with a mix of density and fluffiness at the same time. Best of both worlds— new York cheese cake and Japanese style cheesecake. I was blown away. This shop has so many good stuffs!

I tried the orange cupcake and WOW. It was insanely good. The flavor was bright and fresh without being overpowering, and the cake itself was super moist and soft. The frosting was perfectly balanced sweet but not too heavy and paired so well with the citrus flavor. You can tell everything is made with care and quality ingredients.

This bakery/cafe serves vegan and non vegan food. I had an oat cappuccino and vegan grilled cheese with tomato and avocado (they also do a tofu scramble) . They were delicious and nicest grilled cheese I’ve had. There is no charge for plant milk (rare!) and all items are extremely well priced. I was even offered a refill without me asking. It is hard to find tasty vegan food in a non vegan place especially cakes. They had two mini vegan cheesecakes and a cookie I took home. All great. The two members of staff I interacted with were extremely friendly, kind and helpful. The place has a lovely atmosphere.

Got a variety of mini cheesecakes for a birthday. These are small but pack a punch; I was particularly impressed with the salted caramel. So often those are over-salted, but this had a perfect balance that really allowed the caramel flavor to come through. Polite, helpful service. All in all a great spot.

I was exploring the Palms area(checking out the Sunday Farmer's Market)and found this very cute Bistro. I was impressed with how clean and bright Jennifer's is with very nice decor and artwork. The Staff is very friendly and I decided on tuna, egg salad sandwiches, 3 types of cheesecakes and coffee. First, the egg salad was phenomenal, superfresh tasting and I appreciated the quality difference as they use free range, organic eggs. The tuna was also excellent. I had lemon, peanut butter/choc and german choc cheesecakes. They are shaped like cupcakes instead of slices but this really worked for me because the flavorings to cake ratio is better resulting in much tastier cakes for me. This type of cheesecake, for me(first time), is much superior to the large slice type as they are less flavorful. I read over the reviews and realize the prices are somewhat higher but frankly these were the BEST cheesecakes I ever had; so totally worth it. So, I have to strongly disagree with complainers on here because it's analogous to being upset a Ferrari costs more than a Toyota(and the price differential is a lot less). I am still thinking about those incredibly delicious cheesecakes: again best I ever had and great concept to make them like cupcakes instead of slices. The bonus was the espresso and cappuccino were superb. Jennifer Pennifer is now my #1 choice for cheesecakes in LA and the sandwiches/coffee are definitely in my top ten.

The tuna sandwich was the smallest I have ever seen, literally three tablespoons of tuna and a size you'd give a 4 year old in a packed nursery school lunch. The salad was small too, and they omitted the avocado, and neglected to include the egg salad side. Worst of all - they did't contact me to offer me a substitute for the orange juice they didn't have - and so I was delivered a lunch with nothing to wash it down with. I called them and they refunded the $ for the missing items, but didn't offer to make up for the bad experience an any way... this is NOT a service oriented establishment! I will avoid them in the future, and suggest nobody use them for deliveries! The actual quality of the food was good, though.

Went in last week, the older woman (owner maybe?) who worked there wasn’t very friendly and rushed me to order but the other 2 younger girls were lovely and made up for it and I could tell they were unsettled by the older woman as well…however, I would go back just for the younger girls’ service and the spanish latte!
