Our first time in Hollywood and the Hard Rock Cafe was awesome! The food, the atmosphere, the really awesome memorabilia, and our server Chris was top notch! We had a small wait to be seated so we shopped in the gift shop, but once we sat and ordered, our food arrived quickly and deliciously! Attached some, but not all the pics I took.
Coming for the name and the atmosphere! The service was top notch and had great waitresses and the decor and memorabilia was fun to look at while we waited for our food. Food was about what you’d expect. I had the Diablo burger which was spicy (really liked it). Daughter had the chicken Caesar Salad which she says was “amazing”
Excellent Hard Rock Café located in Hollywood. Large restaurant with lots of great memorabilia and always excellent American themed food. I’ve been here a few times and will go back in the future.
Stopped by this restaurant while visiting California and had an amazing experience. There was live music both nights we dined, which made the atmosphere even better. Our server, Megan, was wonderful—so sweet, attentive, and thoughtful. She even asked about food allergies, which we really appreciated. The food was absolutely delicious! I enjoyed my meal so much that I came back the next day to order the exact same thing. Highly recommend this restaurant, especially the Twisted Mac & Cheese and the brownie Sunday !
Delicious food and great service. The staff made sure we were taken care of at all times. The manager checked in on us at least 3 times. Music was a bit loud for a bit but besides that I had a great time!
This was my very first time in California, and visiting the Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood was a must—and it did not disappoint! I couldn’t have been happier with the entire experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and our waitress (I believe her name was Bethanie—if I got that wrong, my SINCEREST apologies!!!) was nothing short of amazing. Thanks to her and the wonderful staff who took such great care of us, this is truly an experience I will never forget. 🩷
Although this location is off Hollywood Blvd, it had its own vibe. From entry to exit, everything was on point. The burger was delicious 😋. Always a Hard Rock fan.
One of the happening place to have dinner with Rock Band, if you are visiting Hollywood boulevard road. Multiple options of food are available but less options for the veg. Mocktails and cocktails are really good with lot of options Go to hangout Not good for the people like me who don’t wanted to go in noisy place and No Alcohal
It’s our tradition to visit the Hard Rock Cafe whenever we’re in a new place, and this time we were completely satisfied. During dinner, we also played bingo and took part in a quiz. My daughters won both the bingo and the quiz, which made the evening even more special. As a bonus, we received a discount on our final dinner bill, which was a very pleasant surprise. The only downside was that we were seated right under the ventilation system and felt a bit cold. However, a warm coffee after dinner quickly warmed us up, and the friendly service made up for it. Overall, I consider the entire evening a great success.
Best service on the boulevard! We go jere every time we go to Hollywood Boulevard. The staff are so nice! The menu is gluten-friendly, and the prices are reasonable. Sage takes great care of us! There’s a gluten free menu available with a decent number of options. The only downside is there’s always a (short) wait. I think it’s a trick to get us to shop. We’re not buying anything, folks! We’re local.
I've experienced Jinya ramen when I was in Texas and I had a high expectation from my previous experience. We had two vegan ramen and those were so good!! One was spicy creamy vegan ramen and another one was red o' something ramen great flavor and delicious broth!! Keep up the good work! Cheers 🥂
they make me realize I have an addict to ramen for the first time. highly recommend Premium Tonkatsu Red with level 6 or above (you can see from the photos how many times I've had the same red ramen and I'm still not tired of it yet. did they put a charm on me?). the best ramen I ever tried both in US and Tokyo. btw just a reminder that they are extremely busy and full of customers during lunchtime on weekdays. So plan your visit wisely.
I visited this restaurant on a Thursday around 7 PM as a party of one. There was no wait, but the place was starting to fill up, so it may have been easier for me to snag a seat by the window since I was dining alone. I tried the Flying Vegan Harvest and absolutely loved it! The broth was rich and flavorful without being overly spicy, and all the add-ons were delicious. They offer an impressive selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes, which is a big plus. The decor was charming and added to the overall experience. Highly recommend this spot, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area!
This ramen place is not far from our hotel and that’s why we decided to try. Overall it was great. The food was delicious and all the staff were really friendly. The decoration was nice but a bit too dark for my liking. We were lucky to get a table as it was dinner time and this seemed to be a popular ramen place. Definitely would go back there next time in LA.
Never had the pleasure of trying these crispy Spicy Tuna Tacos, min and packed with fresh cilantro, lime, and spices. My favorite ramen crafted with long noddles, vegan meat, corn, broccoli would be the Flying Vegan Harvest perfect for cold weather with a side of ice green tea and the signature JINYA Bun on the side, simply scrumptious! Also the mixed ice cream mochi was chilled of green matcha and chocolate tasted superb!
Went with my husband for the first time on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and the place wasn’t crowded at all. We were seated right away and our server was super kind and attentive. She gave us some great recommendations and we tried the crispy chicken and tempura shrimp to start off with and both were delicious! The ramen is some of the best (if not the best) we have tried especially since we don’t eat pork, we felt like there was a lot of options here. Can’t wait to go back!
Came here between lunch and dinner. Atmosphere might be different at night. Place was not very busy. Had to wait 10min for seating. Hard to get to. I paid 27 bucks, so I dont have to deal with issues. Food selection was small. Burger was good. Not sure of I'd come back again. Price is reasonable.
First time visit to one of Hollywood’s acclaimed restaurants. Upon arrival, the establishment was clean, inviting, and intrigues you to walk around a bit and admire all the notable one of a kind pieces displayed on the walls. Server was attentive, food was tasty, and wait times were very minimal. However, we did encounter some miscommunication and misrepresentation of the discounted items displayed on the stage area. Upon originally asking the employee stationed there, she stated that everything was discounted but didn’t give a definitive answer on how much percentage off each item, gave a broad range, and overall portrayed to be ambiguous. Furthermore, she appeared unaware when I brought to her attention that certain items had additional markdown tags applied, while others did not. Therefore, it became a game of taking item one by one and going “How much is this one? How about this? Oh, and this one?” Several other customers also expressed confusion regarding the unclear presentation of sale items. Finally, the manager came over and provided some definitive information, stating everything was 50% - which vastly differed from the original information received by the other employee. Overall, I believe there are meaningful opportunities for improvement in this area to support a more seamless and customer-centric experience moving forward.
Music Mecca cafe - brunch for 2 Mid morning brunch, very quiet for Hollywood Blvd and this cafe although still early in the day. I have visited Hard Rock Cafe in different locations and although in the centre of Hollywood Blv - the Tourist Trap it was pretty good. Christmas special had entree and main for US$43 and when you compared this to mains the entree was essentially free. I chose the Caesar salad and Smokehouse Plate. The salad was very good, lettuce fresh and crispy, dressing nicely seasoned. The mixed smoked plate included pulled pork, fried onion fries and chicken breast and side of slaw. The pork was tender and smoked well and the chicken thin still nice not over cooked. Slaw was crisp with a nice tasting dressing. My son had the wings and the Messiah burger. Wings were meaty and had a nice tangy dressing. Burger was enormous. Double fried chicken patty with the works. This also looked good and from all accounts was very tasty. Our server was excellent and these guys work hard for their tips. Overall a pleasant experience as these places can be hit and miss at times especially in the tourist traps. Total for 2 inc drinks and tip US$120
Food was great, except my steak fajitas. The meat was hard and had an odd taste, I had to skip that. We had the nachos w guacamole as appetizer, which ended up being my dinner 😅 my friend really enjoyed the salmon and shrimp.
I recently visited Hard Rock Café, and it was an experience that beautifully blended great food, vibrant ambience, and top-notch service. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly their Legendary Burger, a dish that truly lives up to its name. From the very first bite, the flavors hit perfectly—the juicy patty cooked to perfection, topped with crisp lettuce, fresh tomatoes, and just the right amount of cheese and sauce. The bun was soft yet sturdy enough to hold everything together without getting soggy. It’s the kind of burger that doesn’t just satisfy your hunger but leaves a lasting impression of comfort and indulgence. To complement the meal, I ordered a mojito, which turned out to be one of the most refreshing cocktails I’ve had in a while. The balance of mint, lime, and rum was spot on, delivering a crisp and cooling taste with every sip. It paired wonderfully with the richness of the burger, cutting through the heaviness and adding a zesty freshness to the experience. Beyond the food and drinks, the atmosphere of Hard Rock Café is what sets it apart. The iconic rock-themed décor, with its collection of memorabilia and upbeat music, adds a lively energy to the dining experience. It feels less like a regular meal out and more like being part of a celebration of music and good times. The staff was attentive, friendly, and quick to check in without being intrusive, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Overall, Hard Rock Café delivered exactly what I hoped for—a delicious meal, a refreshing drink, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy great food in a fun, energetic setting.
I got the BBQ Bacon Burger. A little pricey but very good. Mark, my server, was very friendly and helpful.
Our server was Patrick who was very nice, and the nachos were delicious. There was live music on Tuesday evening when we visited which made it difficult to talk to each other.
This place has very good ramen. Not phenomenal but good and tasty. They have a good condiments tray so you can fix it just the way you like it.
was over at the Downtown LA location and had a delicious meal, I ordered the spicy chicken ramen which was yummy, the tender chicken delicious with perfectly cooked noodles, and the fresh toppings made it one of the best ramen bowls I’ve had in the city. The staff were welcoming and quick to seat us, the restaurant has a relaxed yet modern vibe that makes it a fun spot for both casual dinners and bigger group outings, will come again.
The food was excellent, and the ramen instantly lifted my mood. The flavors blended beautifully, with just the right level of spice, flavorful without being overpowering. Its location within walking distance of the hotel made the experience even better, combining good eats with a pleasant walk. The wait staff were attentive and offered thoughtful recommendations, which added to the overall positive experience. I also enjoyed the welcoming ambience. Having also visited the Jinya Ramen in DC, I find myself partial to that location—perhaps because it feels newer...but both delivered consistently great flavors in the dishes I ordered.
I was looking for options near our hotel and was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I was expecting overcooked noodles in a bland broth but it was very flavorful and made well. My mom and I both enjoyed our Tan Tan Men which was nutty, creamy and a bit meaty with a hint of spice. If you’re into more toppings, be sure to add it separately because it’s topped simply with flavored ground beef, green onion and bok choy. It was still very filling without extra toppings. My sister got the Red Tonkatsu and while she liked it, she thought the spice level at 6 overpowered everything else. It wasn’t spicy to her but just a bit one dimensional. She said she would like to give the original a try instead. The egg wasn’t jammy but we’re aware some ramen places like to cook it differently. We also got an order of the takoyaki- it was good. The hot sake also comes in a large craft and sodas are in cans or bottles (Mexican Cola). The service was great even though there was only one active server, Via. They were great and attentive. Probably not ideal for large groups but there are hightop tables that can accommodate them. The atmosphere was warm woods and slightly industrial but it was lit well with warm and bright lighting. Very clean and organized. Value is stretch but I’d come eat here again if I were to stay at the same hotel.
I recently visited JINYA Ramen Bar in DTLA and overall had a great experience. The ramen was delicious—rich and full of flavor, and exactly what I was hoping for in a bowl. However, I have to say I prefer JINYA Express at Hollywood Blvd. The tofu there has this nice crust around it that adds a great texture, which I missed at the main JINYA location. Also, at the Express, I love the ability to mix and customize my bowl exactly to my taste, which makes for a more personalized experience. Service was attentive and friendly, and my server was quick to help when I noticed an error on the bill. There was a special on the ramen and taco plate, but the discount wasn’t initially applied, and I had to ask to have it corrected. The waiter was very apologetic and fixed it right away, but the difference was about $13, so it’s a detail that I feel should be handled more carefully. One other point: a local beer for nearly $9, served in a can, felt overpriced. For that price, I’d expect at least a draft pour, or ideally something a bit more special. All that said, I still give JINYA 4 stars. Despite a few minor hiccups, the food was great, the atmosphere enjoyable, and the service accommodating. I’d definitely recommend it for a solid ramen experience in DTLA, though I might still be back to JINYA Express for that extra customization and delicious tofu.
Great, friendly, attentive customer service. Descent food. What was ridiculous is that I paid for xtra broth. & it looked like I was given the part missing from the big bowl. Fill the bowl. Or use smaller bowls. It’s just broth. Very tacky for the price. I paid 30$ for that?!? I had better broth & fuller big bowls for 20$. Not impressed with the quality or the stinginess.
I ordered the Flying Vegan Harvest Ramen and the Impossible Bun. They were both DELICIOUS! I would definitely eat here again. The host who sat me was really nice. He ended up being my waiter too. He forgot to replace the corn with bamboo shoots, but he apologized and brought it out along with fresh garlic after I reminded him. 🙏🏽 I was annoyed with the bartender/waitress cuz I had been waiting for a while to place my order and then she ended up serving a guy who showed up way after me. 😒 His food also came out before mine. That’s the only reason for the 4-star rating, otherwise, I would’ve given this place a 5 cuz the food was so good. The host/waiter apologized for the delay.
My wife and I went to Hard Rock Cafe as we like to try different ones in the UK and this one is around 10 minutes from our hotel whilst being in LA. We got to the service desk and asked for a table of 2 as we didn’t have a reservation, and the server was looking as if no tables were available but there were plenty. The Food: I ordered chicken and fries, the picture made it look like chicken wings which is what I wanted but instead of chicken tenders-ish? (See photo). My wife got a vegetarian burger and fries. The food was okay, I wouldn’t really recommend either dish personally. We both also got 2 cocktails, which were delicious and tasty. THE SERVICE: A mixed bag. Our server ‘Albie’ was really good and intent to anything we needed and was very efficient. HOWEVER, I do have an issue with the photographer. A lady asked us if we wanted a picture taken, without explaining anything about costs or prices. We had a photo, we got a complimentary one but then asked if we wanted them on a keychain etc which we didn’t but I feel like this is a sleazy sales tactic. Overall, I wouldn’t be in a rush to go back. The cocktails were the best part, the food wasn’t bad but not great!
Food was a bit disappointing – pretty dry and not very tasty. Service was ok when we actually got someone, but it was hard to catch a server. We waited more than 15 minutes just to ask for the bill, and about the same again to pay. On the positive side, the live music was good and the atmosphere was fun
Really good ramen place, but the service is very unpleasant and the atmosphere is basically nonexistant. The girl never asked about our food or if we need anything while the restaurant had only 4 tables taken between the 2 servers so there was no excuse for poor service. Even tho the kitchen has a big open window that creates a bit of emotion, it is all blocked by the ramen bowls. Again, really good food, but there is no experience in this place
Undercooked bacon on salad. Barely any fries with boring and nearly flavorless smash burger that was supposed to be spicy. $1 extra for sauces! Food is not worth it, but the experience is cool.
