amazing food & even better prices, can’t get pasta like this anywhere, we loved the chicken pesto and the vodka pasta!
Food was good and service was good. The family loved the complimentary bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The peppercorn sauce on the filet mignon was very good. Overall I would definitely return. It is a short drive to the Getty Villa if you are looking for a quick bite before or after heading there, only 5 minutes.
Authentic Italian food. The AHI Tatar was delicious, seafood pasta is strongly recommended.
Enjoyed an early anniversary dinner. Place was not packed, felt intimate, and that's just what we were looking for. Perfect 👌 and service was excellent.
Saturday's dinner is wonderful. The lamb is very delicious and the vibe is chill. I incaustiously forgot my iPod there and Ryan dropped off it for me. I can't appreciate more!! I spent a busy day and it means a lot for me. Spruzzo is a such a warm place!!!!
Very nice little restaurant. It does not look like much from the outside but the inside is beautiful, the staff is very kind and accommodating and they had the best cheesecake! Nice people to talk to as well.
Excellent food, great service and beautiful ambience. I’m a booth person so this place is perfect for me.
Great service, everyone was super nice and cute! The food was fantastic! The portions are huge))
Nice Italian restaurant near Pacific Palisades with plenty of Vegan and Vegetarian items. I had the Vegetable Pizza with Vegan cheese.
Stopped in for a solo lunch after a visit to Getty Villa. The bread, burrata and a glass of Pinot Grigio set me up. Delish!
Stopped for a quick bite to eat would recommend 10/10 amazing!
Perfect 👍🏻, delicious food, clean and excellent service, thank you guys
Fantastic! Drove down from from Santa Barbara and picked Spruzzo as is is dog friendly and so close to the beach. These guys went the extra mile - made space for us outside. The service is excellent - the food is great.
The Chinese chicken salad is delicious! I also greatly appreciate that they have a vegan cheese cauliflower crust pizza option; it's really tasty, and a rarity to find this combo.
Spruzzo is my favorite hidden gem. Always has parking available, never had to wait for a table, view of the ocean and great interior! Italian food for less than $20 a plate, I'm surprised this place isn't more packed every time I go!
Maybe the best Chinese Chicken Salad I've ever had. You could taste the quality of all of the ingredients
Amazing food and phenomenal service. Calamari was top tier and the pizza was cooked to perfection
Very good food. Fun atmosphere. Would recommend.
As always Spruzzo food was amazing. This time we had it delivered for a party and everyone was asking for more!
The grilled Atlantic salmon (with mashed potatoes and veggies) was flavorful, splendid. They could have served a larger portion of salmon. though. The dessert I had was the vanilla gelato with shots of espresso - loved it.. Overall this restaurant is very good, but a bit pricey (which is expected). I would come back again, as I was visiting from the Central Coast. 4.5 stars.
Lovely place to have lunch or dinner. Service is outstanding and I’m just so happy it’s open after the fire. I hope the other businesses in the area open soon
Great restaurant with amazing staff. The owner and son are super involved. You know someone takes pride in ownership when you see Ryan doing it all (even cleaning tables) if they get busy. The staff is friendly and honest about what they like. The food is good and everyone is a fan of the lasagna. I love coming here. Also the restaurant has a great bar area if you want to sit by yourself and watch a game.
Great food, good portions, service was slow even though the place was 80% empty... but the food was worth it.
Wow. Just amazing food quality service atmosphere the waiters and waitresses are honestly very helpful and great. They really make it nice being here. Very well done appetizers and dessert. Next time coming hungry and ready to try the main courses.
Wonderful restaurant owned by a family with restaurant experience. There is also a beautiful bar! The food is delicious. I love the pasta, pizza, and minestrone soup. I had Spruzzo Pizza .Wonderful! Near the beach. Getty villa museum (reservation required)and Lake Shrine (beautiful location Gandhi ashes and monument reservation .Lake Shiine that is near this restaurant has beautified atmosphere . Reservation for Shine location.)
Food was great! Entire family thought this was the best food we had four days into our vacation. We had the ravioli, spaghetti, wings, mozerella sticks, and linguine for meals and all were delicious. The espresso martini was bomb too!
This is truly my favorite restaurant in Palisades. The owners and staff are all amazing and make you feel very welcomed. I see a lot of the same guests every time I visit as well, which make it a great neighborhood spot whether I'm dining in, or taking out.
We love Spruzzos. Great service. And personnel
Extremely nice place, with great workers and delicious food!
The chef deserves praise. Every dish was flawless.
I would give this restaurant and owner 10 stars out of 5 if I was able. My brain was fried after pulling a camper in rush hour LA traffic and I ordered from the wrong restaurant location. The owner personally drove my food and met me halfway so I would make it back to the state park before the gate closed and I’d be locked out all night. I’m currently face deep in some delicious chicken parmesan, fish and chips, garlic bread, and staring intently at the tiramisu. I will probably order from them again before I leave.
Such good food! This restaurant is a great addition to the Palisades. It seems a bit pricey, but the portions are substantial - enough to feed two. Make sure to ask for bread. The focaccia is so good. My favorite is the rigatoni pesto and my family says the filet mignon is really good.
Open and busy! Just went with a friend, who was recently able to return to her home in the Palisades. So happy this neighborhood spot is open and thriving. The food was great, and our server was accommodating with ingredient questions. Will be back for sure!
Everything we ordered - minestrone soup, beet salad, calamari. Vodka pasta, etc was beyond good. Our waiters were friendly young girls and boys and were all very nice. They exceeded my expectations, marked this place on my Google maps will be back evey time I travel on this route.
Food was amazing tasting and a good value for the price. You get free bread, oil, and vinegar. The fried calamari is fresh and delicious. The pizza is good, a lot of toppings, and a thinner crust even on the original. The server (taller Hispanic male) was wonderful. Our busser (shorter Hispanic male) was rude though.
The best grilled artichokes ever! The marinade is so delicious, I keep thinking about going back for them. Their lasagna is amazing too. Also, full bar and tv screens that are not intrusive but you can still keep up with your team’s score.
Picked this place pretty much at random after a day out at Santa Monica beach, and really glad I did. We were a party of six - a family visiting LA from the UK - and all agreed the food was fabulous - the best meal we’ve had on our holiday. The waiters were friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was good. To top it off, the temperature in the restaurant was comfortable. (In most places we’ve visited for dinner there’s a real risk of hypothermia as the air con is turned up so high!) Thoroughly recommend this place!
Best pizza I've tried in Los Angeles. Very crispy crust, rare to have it done properly like that here.
Spruzzo in the Palisades offers a decent atmosphere—nothing overly fancy, but it’s relaxed and comfortable enough to enjoy a casual meal. The food was pretty good overall from what I tasted, and I appreciated that they had a respectable selection of vegan items, which isn’t always the case at similar spots. Their vegan pizza, topped with vegan cheese and fresh veggies, was spot on—flavorful, nicely balanced, and satisfying without feeling overly heavy. It’s always refreshing to find a place that takes vegan options seriously rather than just throwing together a salad or pasta. If you’re in the area and want a laid-back spot with solid food and good vegan choices, Spruzzo is definitely worth a visit.
Loved the focuatta bread they brought out! Ended up getting a second round of the bread. The lasagna was good too, very cheesy.
Great Ítalo-american restaurant! Really enjoyed the food. The tiramisu wasn’t fresh and it felt more like a cake.
I fell in love with Spruzzo Restaurant & Bar in Los Angeles because of its delicious Italian-inspired food and laid-back coastal appeal. A welcoming and pleasant atmosphere welcomed me right away, setting the stage for an unforgettable dinner experience. Let's now discuss the main attraction, the cuisine. The food at Spruzzo is a lovely celebration of traditional Italian fare created with a contemporary twist and the finest ingredients.
The Spicy Rock Shrimp was the best dish… the Spaghetti Bolognese was okay, but not wow… for me, lack of flavor. The Tiramisú isn’t homemade and was frozen, talked with the manager, and he was denying that it was frozen until I challenged him to taste it, then he offered me an apology, and maybe the fridge was having some problems that day.
Spruzzo doesn’t look like much from the outside, but once you open the doors, you are greeted by a welcoming, well-appointed modern restaurant. The servers are attentive, friendly, and well-educated about their offerings, and the atmosphere is casual but upscale. It is a very nice place to spend your time, that is unfortunately let down by the food we were served. The focaccia bread that was brought out to start was a bit bland—this will be a theme—and tough, a bit firm on the edges. Our appetizer, the bruschetta, had good flavor—although it leaned a bit too heavily on the basil and garlic—but was served on the toasted french bread rather than aside to, resulting in the bread not being terribly crisp. The menu itself belies the nature of the cuisine served—foods like carbonara advertised with cream amongst their ingredients (traditionally, a carbonara sauce is made only with parmesan, egg, and pasta water). I ordered the chicken parmesan, my wife, the pesto rigatoni. Both dishes were sizable, large enough that neither of us finished our meals, but also were unfortunately rather one-note and uninteresting. Neither bad, per se, but also nothing to make them sparkle. In the end, both were more reminiscent of Olive Garden than authentic Italian. For me, it would be a nice place to have some drinks, perhaps, but sadly not one I would return to for the quality of the cuisine.
The atmosphere was nice on the patio. We liked one of our two appetizers (calamari was good, ceviche was not), and one of our entrees (lobster ravioli wasn't great, chicken piccata was). Service was good. We would come back to try other dishes.
Went to have some dinner at this spot after visiting the Getty Villa. Food was okay, one of the waiters decided to put a hot plate of food in front of my 1 year old when there was plenty of space on the table. We got plenty of dirty looks from locals as well.
Arogant owner receive you like they are doing you a favor. Didn't try their pizza specialty but the fish and chip was bad and the salad was just average stuff you get at a supermarket deli counter.
Ooof their desserts are among the worst I’ve ever encountered. The tiramisu was just mediocre but the chocolate cake was a dry dense log that had either been sitting in the freezer or sitting out for a while. I can’t imagine it tasting good even if it were fresh.
I had one of the most awful Bolognese pastas here. The meat sauce was charred and they must have just mixed it in anyways! At first I thought it was a herb or something but then I noticed pieces of char all over.
Since I arrived at the store, the two girls at the entrance talk too much to each other and don’t do their job. I’ve been waiting for more than 10 minutes for them to pack my order and I only see them talking. More attention to the public, please
