Outdoor restaurant. I bet there was a pound of carne asada in there special burrito. Just guacamole salsa so nothing to take away from the flavor of the meat.

Consistently the best flavored carne asada on the planet. After moving out of Los Banos always come by here when I'm coming back through town. Love this place.

Carne asada fries were delicious 👍👍

I got a carne asada burrito which was very good. I asked the lady who took my order for some chili verde salsa and she said it was in the bag. In the bag was red salsa, i pulled it out and asked "chili verde salsa?" and she said "yes, in the bag." No, it's not...but I let it go. I ended up bot needing the chili verde because thankfully the meat in the burrito wasn't dry like most places.

I got the burrito loco and it was awsome. Go to Cutija Taco shop and get some great food. The red sauce is really hot, green sauce is tasty and mellow. Thank you, I will be going back soon!

Cutija is a gem for lunch or dinner. Love the carnitas tacos and veggie burritos. It's a great place to sit outside and and a meal. I've been coming through here for years and it's my favorite stop to eat when passing through Los Banos.

Food is delicious and can't tell enough people. Their burrito is normally what we get (carnitas and carne asada) as well as their Mexican rice and carne asada fries. 10/10 would recommend.

I had 6 tacos 3 Al pastor and 3 carne asada. They are bomb tacos a bit pricy @1.99($13 and change) but the tacos are a good size. I would recommend this spot for a quick lunch or dinner.

First of all, outside seating only. It may not look like it from the outside, the food they make on the inside is very good. And their prices may ease the pain in your wallet.

One of those incredible hole in the wall places that you can't stop thinking about because it's so delicious. We got a variety of tacos and they were all incredible. Favorites were carnitas and Al pastor.

A local staple that has been holding down this corner for decades. I've been getting food here since I could ride my bike to it. My favorite is the carne asade fries. I haven't found a spot in California that tops them.

Wow! Loved everything here. Best Mexican food I’ve had in a long time. I had the Chile relleno and enchilada combo and my wife had the carne asada tacos. She says “best rice ever”! Mine was awesome too. Great place in a wonderful town.

We locals appreciate this long time business and I've spoken to individuals driving down highway 152 that just need a little time to stretch their legs while waiting for their food to quickly be completed So they could get to their destination. Kind, Fast, low and fair prices, and everything I've ever had has tasted wonderful. Far better than sitting spending a lot of time instead of getting to where you're going and also spending three times as much money for the same food.

I'd give this place 6 stars if I could. Drove past this small taco joint on the way to Sequoia National Park and on the way home we just had to stop. Great choice. This small roadside icon has many people coming in and out of it for a reason. I had a carnitas burrito which was so flavorful, filled with meat (seriously almost more then I could handle), my bf had three tacos that looked really good too; we ate up everything. Fresh food served hot and in a reasonable time. Taco toppings self-serve at the ordering window. They accept credit card now too! Downsides: Restroom was not a pleasant experience, but kind of what I expected. They use a lot of Styrofoam which unfortunately is now seen as 'authentic' but there are more earth-friendly options now days.

Always my go to stop when going to San Jose from the valley. I've never been disappointed here and the ceviche is so good. A little salty, but nothing crazy. A la diabla burrito is 10/10 and service is usually fast !

Hands down one of the best taco shops that I have been to here in Los Banos. The salsa has a great flavor and is not overwhelming spicy. Highly recommended if your are stopping in town.

We've been here a few times now since moving to the area and we've loved it each time. I've had the carne asada burrito which is good on it's own, it comes with beans, rice, and meat, I usually add cheese. My wife loves the carne asade fries. Customer service is good, I've always been met with a friendly smile (as far as I can tell because of masks). This will definitely be a frequented restaurant for us.

I got 2 tacos - carnitas, asada and al pastor. The asada was one of the best ones I’ve had in a while. The carnitas were good, and the al pastor was phenomenal too

Just had a feast with my roommate, both of us got burritos & shared some rolled tacos & reg tacos. Everything was delicious & hot, not spicy. Loved the red sauce better than the green! 👍 definitely gonna come back again. Don't let the look's fool you, it's small but big portions that taste great!

I’ve lived in Los Banos 5 years and have driven by this place many times but finally a friend suggested lunch here. He said this place is authentic and fresh. I had 2 chicken crispy tacos and they were awesome. The taco shell was so light and crispy and the filling was delicious and fresh. The burrito my friend had was huge and delicious as well. We ate on the patio tables outside and had a pleasant lunch. I highly recommend this place for authentic delicious Mexican food.

Great food, love ❤ the tacos and tortas, flautas were good too. Downside is no inside seating but definitely take home and enjoy.

Carne asada is delicious, Spanish rice was good, beans are good but need to be held at a little warmer temperatures, so it would be served hot. Prices are a little high, but the quality and portion size makes up for the price.

Food was great. Their food boards could use some updates or at least another coat of sharpie to cover the food no longer available but if you are in the mood for other things it's a great place to stop.

Very good and the price is right. I've eaten at a lot of Mexican food places (including family/I'm half latino) and this is one of the better ones. Definitely a must stop. Enjoy!

Delicious food and good service. It's our go to spot when traveling from the bay to the central valley. One less star because their bathroom has not been accessible the last 3 times we've gone. We just walked to Pizza Hut though so it's not a big deal.

Tacos was yummy however I took out 1 star because of following reasons. 1. the seller shoved all 6-7 tacos on top of each other making it difficult to separate hot tortillas and ripping them. They could've just placed 4 in one tray and rest in the other. 2. They did not provide any chili..or vegetable or anything on side. 3. If you're planning on to getting an extra sauce ..they're expensive. They charge $1.00 or more for extra sauce. Tacos were yummy but again my tortillas literally had to be torn in order to pick them up due to being piled on top of each other.

The food was good but they forgot my tortillas. Then when i called, the guy didn't even know what order I was talking about, he keep confusing it with another order. Then they wanted me to go back halfway across town for 2 tortillas, thanks but no thanks I'll heat my own up because it's not worth the drive. The least they could have done was offer a discount on my next order out a free taco or something for being put out and inconvenienced!!

Carne Asade California burrito was great - freshly made and the meat was flavorful (and not dry!!). the stand looks sketchy from the outside but the food was better than I expected. Good if you're looking for a quick bite and also very wallet friendly!

The burrito loco was big and tasted ok but not great! Just wanted to try it out because there are not to many Mexican food places that are great! Still waiting to see who opens up a a place where most of the food is great!

The food is good but service and location could improve a lot the tables outside to eat are extremely dirty I don't think anyone cleans them at all I had to clean my own table to eat and it was a rag full of pure dirt... makes me question the cleanliness of th inside.

Lots of fat in the asada meat, so our nachos or burrito was not so enjoyable. There were several limitations to selections of meat you can put in some items. I asked for chicken in the enchiladas, and they said they can't do that. Then I asked for chicken in the taquitos, and they said they can't do that either. Customer service was not the so good.

I find they are convenient and adequate portions, but I ordered a fish burrito there once and the fish seemed old, dried out, and salty. I had to throw it away. I also wish the desire for adequate guacamole could be quenched as well as fresh produce in the burrito would be nice- the beans are runny and the burritos lack texture.

Husband loved the chile relleño, I did not like the asada fries, I prefer mine with nacho cheese on them, they don't do that here. My kids liked the burritos and quesadillas. Its a a little shack but overall good food

Large fries literally 15 fries and 3 little burnt pieces for $1.50. Carne Asada torta $5.25 disgusting!. Cook must have been in a bad mood or something it was made so sloppy and bread was hard. Rolled tacos $4.95. They were okay. Guacamole on top was gross looking....

Make sure you check what you order. I asked for 5 shredded beef taquitos. I got 4 potato taquitos and 1 shredded beef. I was disgusted. I threw them away and I made it known to them, Cutijas, that I will not be back again. Unless new management comes.

This place has a rating of 3, 4 stars on review sites other than Google. That makes more sense. Carne asada fries were soggy, bland, some gristly meat, and had liquidy pinto beans at the bottom for some reason. Nachos also soggy, if you lift them up and see deeper in the tray, swimming in liquid. Horchata was meh and soda tasted weird, sawdusty which is a first. Would have asked for a replacement on the fries but didn't want any more food from here. 2 stars instead of 1 just because we actually got our food, not long wait, etc, but will not be coming back.

Place looks really dirty took a chance was definitely disappointed . I ordered a Cheese quesadilla was way to oily took a few bites tossed it waist of my money lesson learned.

The food is terrible and spoiled we could not eat it . This was a good place to eat but not any more. Different people run it now . A different cook an old man that don't know how to cook and a very rude woman who cussed and screamed at us when we took are plates of food back to the window and told her the food was spoiled and stunk of rotten chicken. The refied beans were sour and spoiled . They got very upset when we asked for our money back because the food was un eatable. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET FOOD POISONING DON'T EAT THERE I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU . I EVEN TURNED THEM IN TO THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT THEY SAID THERE WERE A LOT OF COMPLAINTS ON THEM. Food wasn't good my son and his friends ordered bean burritos lets just say they threw them away then I ordered a carne asada burrito I threw it away too the meat was gross whatever seasoning they use doesn't go with that meat the salsa was also gross

The fries had a hair in them. Afraid to eat the burrito I ordered. The girl who took my order was nice, but the cook gave us a mean look when we had some questions regarding the menu. Used to be a good place, but seems to have gone down hill.

We came from the east coast drove all the way across.. We were excited to show the kids what we thought was real Mexican food from this place. The young man taking order was such a nasty and impatient PERSON with the worst attitude. He got angry because my four kids are vegetarians and gave us the worst treatment. I was embarrassed of my children. We left after he told us we don't know how to order for our children as he has three kids of his own and he knows exactly how to order for them. Our kids are 13, 11, 9 and 7. We let the two older ones order for themselves which generated the attitude. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU HAVE KIDS!

Customer service is bad - the cook needs to lose the attitude and drop the dirty looks, my goodness. Put descriptions on your menu, don't be lazy! And, the food is subpar. My husband's chipotle chicken burrito was really salty and unimpressive. Needless to say, we will never return.
