Maple Leaf Donuts

Sophia is a pure delight. She was so friendly and kind to my kids who I had brought in for a special donut treat. This place may seem unassuming from the outside but the customer service is amazing and so are the glazed donuts! Yum.

Great customer service, sandwiches and donuts

Had a DMV appointment and was starving. This place is nice and tucked away at the back. Very nice lady who was taking care of everything. Very affordable and fresh. Loved the cappuccino.

Went here as it’s right next to the very busy dmv. Lide was very nice to us and offered us good suggestions per our dietary preferences. The turkey-veg-croissant sandwich was scrumptious. We tried the old fashioned glazed donut, which was pillowy and not oily.

Always good donuts and breakfast sandwiches, always pleasant family behind the counter and usually pretty well stocked if you get there early enough

Got a Medium sized Americano coffee on a cold 7:45am morning. Freshly brewed and pleasantly hot. The counter lady was also nice and polite. The Cafe was conveniently placed at a walking distance from the DMV office so I got a cup before waiting in the line to renew my Driver's License. I saw parents with kids come in and enjoy choosing their take outs.

I was early for the DMV so I decided to pop in and grab myself a donut for a healthy start to my day. It’s a small family run place with a large selection of donuts. The women behind the counter was very friendly and we chatted for a while. It was a very pleasant experience, I’ll definitely be back.

We went here for a large drink order and a dozen donuts and the service was excellent! The coffee was freshly brewed and hot. I didn't catch her name but the woman working the counter was very kind and considerate. We will definitely be returning here the next time we're in town. Thank you!

Updated Review 4-20-2024 Maple Leaf Donuts has a new owner and the quality of the donuts has decreased significantly. Donuts are smaller, overcooked, and toppings like chocolate don't look or taste as good. Original Review Maple Leaf Donuts on N. Santa Cruz in Los Gatos is the best. I only eat donuts once a week and when I do this is where I go (once a week for more than 3 years). They make their donuts fresh every morning (ask them when they start baking when you're there). I love the old fashioned chocolate, chocolate raised, filled chocolate bar, french cruller and cinnamon roll.

She can be sassy at times . But definitely the best donuts and sandwiches in all of the bay area and beyond . UPDATE ! price have gone up ! It's now just under $10 for a small sandwich and Donuts start at $1.50 ! Definitely not cool . Definitely the last time I'll be buying one from here and probably my last visit.

I went her with my friend and while we were ordering the kid working there who was probably 12 made a small mistake and his mom who was I believe the owner yelled at him for it which was very awkward for me and my friend. Then we finally got our food and I got the sunrise bagel and it was awful, the bacon was rock hard and I could hardly bite through it. We also shared a donut that was just bland and gross. Would not recommend, usually I love to support small businesses but this one made it awkward and the food was bad.

I tried the custard filled donut and coffee. Me and my wife tummy started hurting instantly probably the donut was greasy . I would not recommend custard filled donut. Didn’t try their bagels. Sorry, I am all in support for local business. Happy to give it another try .

I just ended up waiting 5 minutes for a mid donut that costed $1.50 minus tax. I woke up early before work just to go here. This place used to be my favorite spot as a kid. But I will not be coming back. How disappointing.
