The warmth and friendliness of this charming restaurant hits you the moment you walk through the door and David greets you. After that it only gets better with soft music playing, comfortable seating and great service. The wide selection of very affordable food -- including vegetarian options -- will please anyone. I highly recommend this little spot for anyone who wants to experience intimate dining at its best.

We were at Oshawa convergence festival today and we went for lunch. They had all day breakfast. The food was really good . The portions are big. I ordered 2 scrambled eggs . When the server brought my plate, we thought they served me 4 eggs. The server was super friendly and polite. The prices are much cheaper than Sunset Grill and Dennie’s. The place is clean , the washrooms too. I wish I can give them more stars👍

Just as awesome as it was prior to the Reno! The food and service were great. We enjoyed coming back and visiting one of our favourite restaurants. Berry Hill will always be my favourite and most recommended restaurant! I've loved this place since it first opened, sitting at the bar, eating fresh made food, and drinking delicious coffee. Seeing them expand into the nextdoor space is incredible. The service is always friendly and quick, and they have an awesome brunch menu! Definitely go for their Rummy Banana French toast, it's absolutely amazing!!! It's a hidden gem but one that is truly worth discovering!

Exceptional Service for a Group of 19 Ladies! Our recent Brunch @ Berry Hill Food was a five-star experience from start to finish. With a group of 19 ladies, the restaurant made sure everything went smoothly. The staff greeted us warmly and handled our large party with grace, ensuring no detail was overlooked. The menu offered a fantastic variety, and every dish—especially the BH breakfast sandwich —was cooked to perfection. Even with such a large group, the food came out quickly, hot, and beautifully presented. The standout, however, was the service. Our server, [Elise], was attentive, friendly, and made sure everyone’s needs were met. Such a sweetheart!!! The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, and we never felt rushed, even after the meal.

The food here was very good. I had the Eggs+ with sausage patties and sunny side up eggs. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the BH potatoes were very well seasoned. The prices are reasonable, especially for the bottomless coffee which was very good. My server Jenny was very polite and attentive. If you are planning to come here on a Sunday for brunch consider calling ahead as the place was very busy!

First time trying Berry Hill Food Co. and didn’t disappoint! We were for Sunday breakfast, the croissants were freshly baked (like just taken off the oven!) and tried Shaksuka, a nice change to the traditional breakfast fare. Great service and cozy place (it will be renovated… looking forward to seeing the refreshed place!

This is my first time trying out this restaurant. I went at an off hour so there weren't too many people in the restaurant. The servers were friendly and prompt and seemed enthusiastic about the food offered. I got a coffee which came with a cute miniature pitcher of cream as well as The Daily Soup which was a chorizo and vegetable soup. It was one of the most delicious soups I've eaten in a long time. It came with fresh baked bread which was so delicious and a nice touch. For my main course I got The Farmhouse salad; it was phenomenal and full of delicious vegetables, greens, and a nice maple vinaigrette. This is a place I'll definitely return to as there are a few other offerings on the menu that I would like to try.

They have a fantastic little patio in the summer which is perfect for brunch. Their brunch, lunch, dinner, and drink menus are very inspired. I will always suggest going with whatever the special of the day is. Can't go wrong. Great little gem in Oshawa.

My first time here was for a brunch (ofcourse). We made reservations and our tae for waiting when we arrived. I loved that. They were busy, as expected, but the service was so quick, it was amazing. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The place has great ambience and it also sells art work by local artists and photographers. My only reason for not giving a 5 star, the food. We ordered honey butter drizzled biscuits which were quite dry on the inside. My eggs Benedict was good, not amazing, just lacked flavour. May be i expected more from the place. But still a must visit if you want brunch in and around Oshwa.

Went there for Sunday lunch. Staff was nice and food cam pretty quickly. Had shashuka, peameal egg Benedict and honey butter biscuits. Shashuka was OK, tomato sauce tasted good. Peameal egg Benedict was a bit disappointing for >$20, especially limited amount of potatoes. The dessert was nice, not dry.

We were looking for food in the area and thought the reviews here did justice, so we wanted to go here after a visit in Oshawa Around 2-2.15 we were there and there’s limitations for food. You can’t order many things like sandwiches or main land and sea dishes and they are in between meals. My opinion is if you can’t do that you should advertise it upright or say that before we order the drinks. No smoothies or juices as in the photos, iced tea, lemonade and some orange juice only - if you don’t want cocktails. I wish I could order just the drinks and leave, because no one wants to order from small selection of appetisers or pizza/burgers (fast food) which you won’t prefer on a hot humid sunny day. Summer time it would nice if these shown drinks were available. But I must say the service is great, the lady at the cash was good and they made sure we felt welcomed. Only if she’s available at the register for us to pay for the drinks and just leave. The place is not air conditioned and ok a hot humid summer day it’s uncomfortable to be there. And the music is bit too loud. Service is great hence 5 stars Food is meh, and is expensive for a bowl of ravioli which is clearly not home made. Pasta wasn’t tasty and selection of food is poor if you go between 2-5. Please put a note or close it during that time to do the dinner prep then. Atmosphere is not that nice as it’s super hot and humid inside with high volume music A lemonade (tasty) iced tea (wasn’t tasty) , ravioli - ricotta( bland and not home made) fried calamari (appetiser-tasty). For a $70 could have done better

We went in on a Sunday. Very limited menu with Brunch only. Lunch menu was not being served, unlike during the week. Noise level was unbearable. Waitress couldn't even hear us unless she stood right beside the person. We ended up leaving since people at other tables were practically shouting and we couldn't even have a conversation with the person sitting across the table from us. We were seated inside and were not offered the patio, so don't know if it was open or not. The place was packed and unbearably noisy. More people were expected to arrive and we were encouraged to order basically as soon as we arrived. We felt very rushed and somewhat harrassed. Note: This is not our usual experience with this restaurant when we come during the week. We are used to a much quieter and pleasant experience with top notch food and exceptional service. Prices are a bit higher than average, but the food and service are usually worth it. This was definitely not the case on this visit. We definitely won't be back on a Sunday. This was a first time visit for the majority of our group and they were definitely not impressed.

This was a beautiful restaurant and I really wanted to enjoy the vegan black bean meatloaf. It looked beautiful. Unfortunately it was lacking in flavour. I only ate a few bites. The mashed potatoes were also lifeless and it seemed like they were mixed with oil? Unappetizing and a waste of my money. Herbs, seasonings, even salt were absent from this offering. Had I been asked how it was I would have advised my disappointment. I spent $40 for the meal and a drink and I left hungry and unsatisfied.
