Great service and awesome staff. Everything was good considering it was my first time there. I will definitely come back and try some other dishes, it's really a nice place for special occasions definitely recommend going with family and friends.
This was a repeat visit to celebrate a special occasion and we have absolutely loved our visits both times! We have had the pleasure of being served by John both times and he has been an excellent server! He is always attentive and super quick to get anything we need. He has no problems making sure we are completely satisfied and we will be continuing to sit with him when possible in the future. We greatly appreciate the birthday treatment and the ladies enjoyed the espresso martini’s John made them this visit. Wonderful!
Family size meals! Large proportions to share with 2-3 maybe 4 people! Italian style restaurant with fragrant aromatic foods coming to you Nice atmosphere, lots of photos throughout the restaurant to keep your interest. Great staff, food and dessert! 😊
A group of friends and I reserved the Pope room, and it was an amazing experience. We were 90% of the noise… But our patient, funny, charismatic, amazing, knowledgeable, friendly, positive, orderly, efficient, sympathetic waiter named Hunter was absolutely the best. We did not have to wait for extra plates/napkins/spoons. He made us feel welcome and even got the birthday song going. The music added to the overall atmosphere very well. We got multiple dishes and a desert to share among ten people and we were stuffed. Time was spent well here. I would recommend for people who like Italian food in general or would want to try it for the first time.
Let me tell you about this evening. Our server Amanda was so very good. She definitely knew how to work our table. She gave us time to look over the menu and tell us about some of their options of food. Started with bread and oil. We got antipasta salad very very good along with the quarto sampler another amazing meal. It's big enough to share make sure you take your love ones to experience this truly wonderful restaurant with the pics on the walls all the convo starts not a boring moment and great music. Ended with Is chocolate chip canolis ..which was amazing rich and smooth. 11 outta 10 Thank you will return.
In my quest to find the best Italian spot on the VILLE, I came across this spot on my way to canes lol hit the u turn and decided to give this place a try. Atmosphere wise it’s there it’s old school with a playlist of American song writing. The waiter Diego was really dope from Venezuela. We had a really good convo, he was very attentive. Food wise, not much to write about, the portions are huge. So if you order the garlic bread and some bruschetta you will get mad bread coming your way! Entree wise we ordered spaghetti and meat sauce, and an order of chicken limone. The food was ok, nothing special but my favorite dish was the bruschetta. You can’t go wrong with this place but it’s not for me. The search continues…
I loved this place. Every space within it tells a story. They serve food to share, so go with someone. Delicious food and excellent service.
Best Italian restaurant ever! Portions are huge. There were 4 of us, and we all wanted different dishes. It was a graduation ceremony so we went for the gusto. We all ate what we wanted (shared with each other), and we all left with takeout platters full! The type of bread they serve is not to my taste (hard crusty and you break it apart) for dipping. I would prefer soft breadsticks myself. Overall, we loved this place!
It was our fist time here. The best tasting Italian food. There marinara sauce takes eight hours to make thanks to Michael, finding out it was our first time gave us a free slice of cheesecake the waitress name Sonia was very sweet. And did her job very well. Fantastic Family size portions . We will be back! 0h! And we do recommend the chicken Parmesan and the cheesecake for dessert!
We requested to sit at the bar. We were traveling through from Oklahoma and it was our five year anniversary. John was the bartender/waiter and he absolutely made the whole experience for us. I love the atmosphere – they played great Italian type music and pictures were everywhere – felt like we were in a Italian restaurant in Italy. Women’s bathroom had a cone shaped bra and granny panties frame – I loved it! Food was great – no complaints – we had lasagna and it was amazing. But John went above and beyond. Would highly recommend!! Bonus that it smells absolutely amazing as you walk in! And it’s great outdoors to take pictures!
Truly a beautiful experience. First time here for my partner and I. Terrance was an absolutely wonderful waiter. The best service I’ve ever had.
We had such a special Valentine’s Day at Buca! We got to sit in the “romantic” booth (with the red string lights, and beaded curtain), and it was the perfect fun, kitschy atmosphere! Terrance took wonderful care of us; everything came out fast, fresh, and delicious as always.
Demauri was a wonderful server! Keep him as long as you can. He’s kind, quick, and very respectful. He deserves all the raises and praise possible. We brought our family from Michigan and Florida here for their first time and everyone fell in love with the food, the staff, and the restaurant. We love coming here and will continue to do so for years to come.
My experience at Bucca di Beppo was outstanding!! Myself and my friends have been going here for the past 3 Christmases and the staff always go above and beyond for us! Astrid did a great job as my server and Diego does a great job managing the kitchen! Food came out super quick and was top-tier. I would highly recommend Bucca di Beppo to anyone traveling to Louisville or for a good family gathering!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful Birthday Celebration at Buca di Beppo Louisville! We celebrated a 54th birthday at Buca di Beppo in Louisville and had such a great experience thanks to our amazing server, Amanda. From start to finish, she made the evening feel special and fun! Amanda recommended the vanilla espresso martini—a new menu item—and it was absolutely delicious. Her food suggestions were also spot on: the Salmon Sorrento and Baked Rigatoni were both fantastic. She was incredibly attentive throughout the night, promptly bringing out fresh bread, appetizers, and refills without us ever having to ask. To top it all off, Amanda surprised us with a birthday sundae and led the staff in singing “Happy Birthday,” which made the celebration extra memorable. Her upbeat energy and genuine kindness made the whole evening feel personal and joyful. Thank you, Amanda, for helping make this birthday one to remember! We’ll definitely be back—and we’ll be asking for you next time.
We came for Valentine’s, this is our first time eating here and we will definitely be returning! Our server was amazing & the food was absolutely delicious!
The food and service were excellent. I absolutely love the family style atmosphere. I ordered minestroni soup and one of the newest features! 'Pallardelle Bolonese' excellent flavor with every bite! Definitely a place to enjoy and appreciate!!!
From the initial walk through the kitchen to the fantastic service from Demauri, I could not say enough great things about this experience. If you are asking yourself if you should try Buca di Beppo the answer is 100% yes! The food was incredible and the shareable portions left our party of 6 very full and very happy!
We had not been to Buca in several year’s but decided to go for my daughter’s birthday. Excellent experience. Food was really good. We left stuffed and content. Our server Amanda was great. We will go back soon. Thanks!
First time visiting and had a great night with Demauri. He was very personable and had a great time. The walking floor manger was super sweet and joked with our table and 2 year old. Thanks for an amazing dinner. I had the stuffed ravioli with meat sauce, wife had the chicken Marsala and my kid had a pizza. All fabulous and tasted amazing.
Enjoyed the food! I love bread and I liked the bread that served as a starter. It’s definitely not for one person. You’ve got to go there with people so you can share the food. It tasted good although I would say the chicken which I had did not taste fresh. The service was good too. The server we had was kind and they all looked well dressed. It had a unique atmosphere as well. Will recommend!
We came in for dinner and were seated right away. We arrived for an early dinner. We've eaten at this restaurant numerous times through the years. They didn't offer the bread and dipping oil so I asked if they still had that since it was always delicious. The waitress said they did but we're out of bread. The rest of the meal was great but the portion sizes have changed and are smaller since Covid. This is a family style restaurant so it's all shareable portions but if you havent been since the pandemic expect smaller portions than before. This is still a great place and we will be back.
We sat in the bar area which fine, very quiet. Service was fast and friendly. We ordered the rigatoni which was good and they served so much! All the dishes are meant to be shared here by 2 or more people so don't be put off by the prices.
Great experience, we went their for lunch on weekdays. Big portion size, great taste and economical. Baked ziti and lasagna both were delicious, specially their cheese tastes so good with garlic hint of flavour. Service was great and best part is their ambience and interior theme.
The food today was kind of bland with seasoning but it was good. The salad is where the best flavors was in my opinion. The service and staff was great. Amazing atmosphere and very clean with very polite people. I would Highly recommended for large family events. But not so much for date night.
Nice family dinner. Ordered some new menu items and old favorites. All were very well prepared and tasted great. Hannah, our waitress was attentive and provided great service. Price was fair for what we ordered.
This place is way overpriced. Just their regular sized fried cheese as an appetizer is 23! 😮 As far as the main meals, sure you get a lot but it’s mainly pasta fluff. I had to fish for just slivers of chicken in my chicken cannelloni. All the food was very good though.
I've been to this place twice. I'm not sure what the hype is about. But they offer a family sized serving of whatever you order, and it is decent for the most part. The view from inside reminds me of a collection of Applebee's artifacts and slightly inappropriate photos all over the walls, especially in the bathroom. The service is as expected. And the decor again is a bit unusual. The place feels like a maze with seats along the path. Keep your expectations in check and enjoy the huge servings and share a bowl of something with two or three people.
Update Feb 17, 2025. It's unfortunate, but this restaurant is in dire need of a complete makeover. Upon entering, the age of the establishment is immediately apparent both in appearance and odor. The carpets look unclean, and there is a noticeable musty smell in the air. As for the food, the meatballs were quite tasteless. I would love to return if renovations are done. Old review. Great family style Italian restaurant. Restaurant is a little bit of a maze but it's a great atmosphere, staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is always good.
We were so excited and were truly disappointed!!! Our hostess was very pushy towards other employees. Then hustled us quickly back to our table. My husband was expecting us to be talked thru kitchen. It was my daughter’s 18th bday. We questioned why not - she said well why? What’s the big deal ? The big deal was - that’s what you and this was our first time there !!! We sat there for 15 minutes without a waitress saying or acknowledging us. She ended being about average. Calamari was far below par - very chewy - like rubber bands. Yuck . Food did come hot , but nothing special. AND WAY OVER PRICED !!! Especially for the chicken limone. I will say we loved the decor. Totally brilliant designing. But this just another chain restaurant selling subpar Italian food. We won’t return .
Went tonight 12/29 and noticed it was a pretty empty parking lot. We normally go to the one in Indy. It seemed short staffed with 1 waiter so only a few tables being used which is understandable. The spaghetti and meatballs...they used fettuccine noodles for some reason instead of normal spaghetti noodles and the sauce didn't seem as thick or rich as it does in Indy. Also we usually get 3 meatballs instead of the 2 we had gotten. On the plus side Mondays are 50% off spaghetti and meatballs. I had to ask the staff to fix the receipt which they did. Being short staffed things get missed and it may have been an off night. We probably wont go back to this location when we are in town and stick to the Indy locations. The 50% off definitely made it better as the quality is not what we are used to.
I have cancer and must stay away from crowds. For my birthday we reserved the table in the kitchen and were told staff was aware to keep it private. The day of the reservation I got an email and text that our reservation time was moved up an hour. I called and spoke with the manager who blamed ‘kids’ and told me the name of the party they were supposed to have adjusted and assured me my reservation was unchanged. When we got there I was told the kitchen table was occupied and we would have to sit in general seating. I pressed for manager who told me there was another reservation prior to mine and I should have been told it may not be available. I knew this to be the reservation that changed that afternoon and let the manager know that was unacceptable. They sat us at the bar to wait until the kitchen was available. The staff was great although not informed it was my birthday and unaware of our requests. I feel this was poor management that staff could not control and I was very disappointed for my birthday dinner. We drove to Louisville especially for this place. I will say we got a free appetizer out of it. The food is very good and portions are huge. I hope management improves or we will cut this from our list of faves to eat at. I noticed many of staff have left there.
As a seasoned diner who lives for the theater of Italian American cuisine, Buca di Beppo has historically been a reliable stage for a great meal. Having visited this location twice before with glowing results, I returned for a third act with high expectations. Unfortunately, the performance this evening was plagued by a series of unforced errors that even the kitschy charm of the decor could not mask. The Service: A Comedy of Errors We arrived at 5:00 PM—the golden hour for dinner to a nearly empty parking lot. Yet, we spent our first few minutes standing in an empty lobby while two employees played around in the back, seemingly oblivious to the front door. It took a concerned colleague (who appeared visibly frustrated by the lack of oversight) to intervene and summon our host. While the host was apologetic, citing a slow day, the momentum never recovered. Despite us being one of only four families in the section, the service was glacial. When we tried to streamline things by ordering our entire meal at once, we were told it might be too much for him to handle. an odd sentiment for a table drinking only water. It took 15 minutes for that water to arrive and another five for bread. The Food: A Tale of Two Kitchens The culinary experience was a jarring mix of highs and lows: • Chicken Parmesan: Truly excellent. Crisp, flavorful, and exactly what you want from Buca. • Mozzarella Sticks: Solid, dependable, and well executed. • Spaghetti and Meatballs: A disaster. The pasta had the distinct, gummy texture of being reheated in a microwave. For a restaurant that stakes its reputation on immigrant inspired Italian, this was a massive letdown. easily the worst spaghetti I have encountered in a professional kitchen. The Saving Grace I must give credit to the manager, who had the situational awareness to recognize our growing frustration, especially with two young children in tow. She proactively offered a $25 credit toward the meal, which was a professional and much appreciated gesture. The Verdict: While the management clearly cares about the guest experience, the front of house execution and kitchen consistency have slipped. In a nearly empty restaurant, there is no excuse for slow day apathy. I hope they return to the high standards of my previous visits, but this was a disappointing chapter.
We gathered to celebrate a family member's 80th birthday. Reservations for 5:45pm. We waited, seriously, over 2.5 hours for the food. Admittedly, it was Valentine's Day, so they were busy. However, we had reservations and Valentine's crowd was not unexpected. They were clearly unprepared. They were also out of several things our group wanted to order, including stuffed shells and tiramisu. The food was good, I guess, but by the time it got there I was over it. There was no offer to comp any food or drinks, even nearly three hours of waiting. Also, the Pope Room big round table is really hard to navigate with the huge center turntable. I won't return to Buca, if I can help it at all. If it had been up to me, I would have left after the first hour.
BEWARE: the photos are NOT an accurate representation of what you will actually get. The lemon picante is photographed with pasta. This is an optional side but is presented as if it comes with the order. It is confusing enough that another person in our large group who ordered the same thing was also expecting pasta. The chicken is TINY. See photograph. Unfortunately it was also very dry and rubbery. $16 for this? No sir. You cannot convince me this tiramisu contains much coffee at all. There's not even any chocolate powder.
I typically don’t review anything that’s under three stars because I feel like restaurants are allowed to have a bad day, but this feels intentional and the restaurant ran out of Grey goose and other various liquors that we ordered. So I start my review out by saying management needs to look at this and make some changes. So that start wasn’t very good and the restaurant at about 8 PM seemed like it was under 50% capacity so there’s no excuse for our service being so terrible and the wait times being so terrible for our food and drinks. That’s just the beginning. I had an antipasto salad with chicken and there was literally a quarter of a chicken breast on it and I had to tell the waiter to fix it. I’m gonna stop right here because this is a nice restaurant with a good atmosphere but the service was terrible and it could’ve been prevented. I’m not sure I would come back to this location. End of my review.
Let me start with that the service was great! Server was super friendly. But GOOD LORD THAT FOOD SUCKED. It’s more expensive than a suit and tie place we went to a couple weeks ago that was also Italian. I’m talking 30$ for lasagna. And the lasagna tastes terrible. The world famous meatballs? Also flavorless. The chicken parm was made with what tasted and looked like frozen chicken patties. That was 35$. And no, there’s no pasta that comes with that. While the atmosphere is fun, the food was some of the worst Italian we have had. My husband is from Sicily and he could barely eat a thing as well. It was super disappointing. If they’re gonna serve clearly cheap food, perhaps they shouldn’t charge such an enormous amount.
It was Christmas and we expected it to be busy but the service was below par. It took about 20 minutes to get our non bar drinks. Bread was brought but the server said he couldn’t find olive oil or balsamic vinegar since other servers were using it and I had to remind him twice about bringing us small plates for the bread and straws. That took another 20 minutes. He finally found some oil but then took another 20 minutes to get our sangria and beer. We ordered Lasangna, chicken Limon, and a sausage dish. The chicken Limon was brought out about 15 minutes after the other 2 dishes and was missing the noodles and sauce as pictured. He did let us know he would ask the manager about not charging for the chicken even though I didn’t mention it and the bill reflected it. I realize he was overwhelmed but the tip was still more than generous as it was Christmas, but having to ask twice for just about everything was frustrating. Our reservations were for 6:45pm and we walked out the door at 8:45.
This used to be a great restaurant. Did is still good but service stank. Inattentive, never refilled my drink-had to just go without, screwed up our order although he confirmed it before walking 10 feet to enter it in the computer. The result was 1/2 of our meal sitting on b the table getting cold while we waited for the entree. After finishing eating, no service to finalize dessert and bill. While the food is good, I just don’t think it’s worth the poor service. I heard they were having financial problems, maybe that’s from poor Resturant management.
This place was absolutely horrible. Not sure how it got all the good ratings. The floor was extremely dirty and the place needed definite upgrade. But that was the least of the problems. We got seated quickly but took over 10 minutes for our server to come wait on us. We ordered the garlic cheese bread. I never knew you could make garlic bread and cheese taste so bad. Now usually I could say it's because I'm picky. But my family is not and no one at the table liked it at all. Left really bad taste in our mouths. I thought they was supposed to hand out bread . The table beside me got bread so I asked my server after I had to have him hunted down. He said i will bring you some. At this point I was already having a horrible visit the table that was next to us was seated about 10 minutes after us maybe longer. There server brought them bread and there appetizer before we even got our drinks. The server had also been to the other table 6 or 7 times before my server ever came back. So at this point I'm already mad the garlic cheese bread was nasty never got our bread and took forever to even be acknowledged. While the server at the other table was taking great care of his guest. So I got mad and just paid for the drinks and left. Which by the way took me almost 10 minutes to do that. Not sure what took him so long or to be honest why he even charged me for them anyway when we only had like 2 or 3 drinks from them. To top it off he never even bothered to ask why we was leaving. So the food may have been great but unfortunately never got to try it. Went and got a steak instead at outback and had wonderful service there as always. I do not recommend this place based on the server I had and the experience. Which really sucks because I drove a hour to get there and the place was recommended to me by a couple of my associates. The place actually looked kinda neat inside minus the floors being really old and dirty looking.
I cannot for the life of me see how this place is rated 4.4 stars. If I could rate it a zero, I would. Yes, the atmosphere is nice, but don't be fooled. The food teeters on inedible. The fettuccine Alfredo sauce was disgusting ($30+8 bucks for four pieces of nasty boiled chicken). A small cheese pizza ($21) with 6 slices of undercooked flavorless dough. Not to mention I'm the way it is cut provides you with only two decent slices whereas the other 4 are practically crust. Like crunchy bits with ever bite of your pizza and hair in your pasta...then this is your place to go. Paid 80 bucks for mediocre food at best. Left feeling completely robbed. Do yourself a favor, skip this garbage. You'll regret it if you don't.
This was an extremely disappointing experience! I made the res & called to confirm bc it was for the "kitchen table". The very sweet woman I spoke w/ confirmed & said it would be rather loud, but I assured her we were ok w/ that & wanted the experience. Upon arrival it was clear the hostess was extremely overwhelmed & unnerved. We finally checked in & she told us the "kitchen was in complete disarray" (her exact words) & said she'd have to "spruce things up" before seating us. After being sat, the hostess came back about 10 min later, asked if we'd been helped which we hadn't & got us a server. When she arrived, she took our drink orders (water) & let us know she'd be back in 5-10 mind for our order even though we were ready then, but said she had some other things to do first. Umm ok. When she came back we ordered a caprese salad, lasagna, prosciutto stuffed chicken and their "signature" broccoli. She then refilled our waters, for the first & last time & said our salad would be about 20 min because the kitchen was backed up. She wasn't wrong. The salad was great! We a aw my husband's lasagna come up & sit in the window for 20 min, she brought it over and then brought my chicken 7 min later. We gently reminded her about the broccoli & eventually received it. Although it was steaming on the outside, the inside was cold & raw and the lasagna was cold as well. We sent the broccoli back, which they took off the bill, AFTER the hostess came & very shortly said "heard you didn't care for it" welll it wasn't cooked! We never received bread, our salad plates never cleared and drinks never refilled after they sat empty before our dinners arrived. The waitress came when we were almost done & said "can I just bring you a box & bill now? But you'll have to put everything in one box." Uhhh, sure. BTW, kitchen kept up w/orders. Unsure if understaffed or mgmt is to blame, but NO THANK YOU! On me, our salad was $37 which we both had 3 slices of tomato and cheese WATCH PRICING
We chose Buca di Beppo for my dad’s birthday dinner and unfortunately left extremely disappointed. For a $210 bill (before tip), the quality and experience were far below what we expected. The food was the biggest issue. My father’s lasagna was very bland. The fettuccine Alfredo sauce was excessively oily. The chicken was extremely poor quality — I even told our server how bad it was, but no correction or replacement was offered. The spaghetti tasted like something from a can. The birthday brownie was so stale we couldn’t even cut it with a steak knife. We also waited a very long time for food, despite the restaurant being mostly empty and ordering immediately after sitting down. Our server was kind, but she seemed very new and overwhelmed, and it felt like she didn’t know how to handle issues when we brought them up. On top of that, the men’s restroom was out of paper towels in both dispensers and had a broken picture frame, which just added to the feeling of neglect and lack of care throughout the restaurant. For this to be a birthday celebration and for the meal to be this disappointing — to the point that we ended up getting fast food afterward — was really upsetting. I truly hope management sees this feedback and reaches out, because this experience did not come close to matching the price or the expectations.
I have to start by giving credit where credit is due. Our server knew we were in for a ride, and set the expectations as soon as we sat down. At first the dining room was filled with the harsh noise of the manager apologizing to 2 separate tables for their experience. The part time middle school gym teacher held command over the situation, and made sure everyone in the room understood it was just an off night. Our cocktails arrived after a brief 20 minute wait, and were solid enough. We ordered a portion of the lasagna and patiently waited 45 minutes, and watched every table that arrived after us be served. When the slab of a meal was delivered to us, again, after 45 minutes, the lasagna was cold all the way through. We alerted our server who was disappointed, but not surprised that we had been brought cold lasagna. She immediately offered the manager would come speak to us, which was appreciated. A few minutes later, the chef walked out, sad and defeated with a tray of fried mozzarella for us. We were assured the lasagna was being fixed and would be out immediately, he also kindly offered to bring us some other pasta as well for our troubles. Another 45 minutes passes before what wr believe was the door dash rider bringing the restaurant what was a completely different style of lasagna than we had previously been served. Honestly? Both food items brought to us were terrible. The pasta was reheated, with the oil and cream separated, the grilled chicken came out boiled and flavorless. The lasagna tasted even more store bought than the first we received. After asking to pay and leave we waited another 20 minutes to receive our bill, which had more items on it than we were told we would be paying for. The manager had left the building as soon as the lasagna issues started, about 90 before the restaurant closed. Buca di Beppo, as an organization, should be ashamed about what happened at their East Louisville location last night. It was by far the worst dining experience we have ever had, but also the worst thing to happen on a Saturday night since 1998, when The Undertaker threw Mankind off Hell In A Cell, and plummeted 16 ft through an announcer's table.
I'm not one to write reviews often, but my recent experience at Buca di Beppo was so unbelievably awful that I feel obligated to warn others. From the moment we walked in, it was clear this wasn't going to be a pleasant evening. The restaurant was overcrowded, and the noise level was deafening. It felt more like a chaotic cafeteria than a place to enjoy a meal. The service was atrocious. Our server seemed completely overwhelmed, forgetting our drink orders and taking an eternity to bring us bread. When the food finally arrived, it was a major disappointment. The pasta was overcooked and swimming in a bland, watery sauce. The meatballs were dry and tasteless. It was clear that the kitchen staff was cutting corners and not paying attention to quality. But the worst part? After we complained about the terrible food and service, the *manager*, a large, sweaty woman, actually tried to chase us out of the restaurant while waving a coupon at us! It was the most bizarre and humiliating experience I've ever had in a restaurant. To top it all off, the prices were outrageous for the subpar food and terrible service we received. It felt like we were paying a premium for a terrible experience. I left Buca di Beppo feeling ripped off, frustrated, utterly disgusted, and frankly, a little traumatized. Save your money and your appetite – there are plenty of other Italian restaurants that offer far better food and service. This was, without a doubt, the worst dining experience of my life.
Horrible service my first time visiting. Didn't see my server until 12 mins after sitting down. Worried about service, so we put our order in immediately. Salad didn't come until 52 minutes after sitting down (40 minutes after ordering). At 60 minutes, I told the manager I was leaving if the food didn't arrive in 10 minutes. They got the food out 10 minutes later. We had to ask 4 different people for more dressing more than once. We had to ask again and again for more bread. They looked at our face but didn't listened to what we said. No one ever apologized, including the manager, until it was tip time. 12 people in my party who will never come back.
When we got there the hostess looked at us and asked if we had a reservation I said yes, she said well I don’t know if we can seat you and walked away, once we were finally sat it took over an hour to get the food, we received no drink refills the entire time and I portioned out my water for the kids, i never received my spritz until we were walking out the door and I said no thanks and begged for the check, this was after 2 hours of being at this terrible establishment, we ordered the seafood pasta and I kept biting into shards of shells, I was worried it was going to chip my teeth so I just didn’t eat and after my toddler finished I ate some of her spaghetti. I will never go back there
I’ve always really enjoyed the food from here, so I decided to order their catering package that feeds 20 people. I scheduled the pickup for 5:00 pm the following day and arrived a few minutes early at 4:55 pm. When I checked in, the staff member told me they were still working on my order, which I understood since I was early. However, by 5:15 pm the food was still not ready. I called the restaurant and spoke with the same staff member, who said the order was being wrapped up and would be out shortly. At 5:25 pm, after waiting another ten minutes, I called again and was told once more that the order was about to come out. At this point, my dinner party was scheduled to start at 6:00 pm, so the delay was becoming stressful. The food was finally brought out at 5:30 pm. When the order was placed in my trunk, I was only given two burners, even though the catering package is supposed to include six. I was told they only had two available. Given the time crunch, I took the food and left. Once I arrived at the venue and began setting up, I realized the garlic bread was completely missing. I had to send my husband back to the restaurant to retrieve it. When he called to let them know he was there, the employee who answered repeatedly referred to him as “big guy,” which felt unprofessional. After finally receiving the bread and rushing it back to the party, we discovered it was nothing like what we had ordered in the past, large, dry crouton-like pieces with no butter and no garlic. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing, from the delays and missing items to the lack of professionalism and poor quality of food. Unfortunately, this experience has made it clear that I will not be using their catering services again.
We had a reservation for 11 people , they seated us at 6:20. We did not get our food until 830. We were wondering if the waitress quit, it took an hour before we ever got our drinks. Half of our party had to leave before the food ever came. We waited 50 minutes for our food after we were finally able to order. This was not a good experience. I do not recommend. I could say so much more. Sadly, the party next to us were in the same situation and half of them never got a drink. They ran out of ice. All I can say is save your money. And they still charge us full price. Plus, I think they got us on A prosciutto stuffed chicken. We ordered a small and they charge us for a large
Dinner tonight. I ordered the Chicken Limone. I got 3 slices of chicken breasts (maybe 6 oz total) with capers, butter and 3 slices of lemon on top but zero sauce. $32.00. Zero sauce It takes a lifetime to build a reputation and 1 second to ruin it. I will not be back it’s way way way over priced for a fast food quality. I’ve had better chicken at McDonalds . No chef would have ever sent that out of their kitchen.
