This was our second time stopping here on a family road trip. The food was just as delicious as last year. In spite of going during the Sunday lunch rush our food came out fast and hot. The onion rings and chicken fried steak were big enough to share. And the blackberry cobbler was delicious.

We were a larger party and were accommodated easily and all the dishes were delicious! Chicken fried chicken was moist and flavorful, the bread homemade, burger was devoured, sandwich offerings were varied and offered multiple types of Breads, the pork chop was heavenly, sides were equally delicious. Don’t just stop at Buccees! Treat yourself to this amazing spread and its delicious offerings! Don’t skimp on dessert either, the cobbler was otherworldly. Service was friendly. Come hungry, leave happy.

Had a friend mention Hinze's Country Kitchen. Driving through Wharton, decided to stop and try it out. One of the best decisions we've made ever. Variety of entree's, desserts, and drinks. I settled for the fish and shrimp plate. Very reasonable prices for fresh cooked food. As you can see by our pictures it was mmmm, good. Definitely making it one of our favorite stops when traveling. The restaurant was very clean. Tables were well stocked with condiments and napkins. Everyone was super friendly! Very quick service. The food was perfect! The cheese fries were amazing! Salad and coleslaw were great! Okra was the best we've had around. The chicken fried chicken was very juicy and tender not dry at all 😊. Top it all off Blue Bell Ice cream shake! Perfect 😍! I would totally recommend coming here and will definitely be coming back!

This place was awesome! Sort of unsuspecting at first glance, but decided to stop in and give it a try. You complete your order at the register, from a board of many selections. Excellent food at a very reasonable price! Just really great, American fare at a price that makes you wa t to come back on a regular basis. I highly recommend this restaraunt. And the tres leches cheesecake! Wow... soooo good!

I have been meaning to post my review a long time ago. I was working with FEMA during the Hurricane Harvey relief in 2017, this place was my go to, matter of fact it was the go to place for the whole crew for lunch. We ate there so much that they actually knew what we were going to order before we got to the counter! The food was oustanding, and the customer service was just as good. I plan on making a trip to say hello and to eat!

La realtà che ci si è palesata davanti è stata unica. Creare un pub su una barca, che inizialmente avevamo creduto essere l ingresso di un traghettetto, è stata una bella esperienza, originale ed effetto. La pizza non era fatta su forno a legna, ma probabilmente riscaldata, meglio il gelato con la quale ci siamo leccati i baffi.

Se cercate un bar un po' diverso dal solito dove rilassarvi e fare un aperitivo, La Barca è perfetto! Sicuramente un'esperienza un po' stravagante ma molto divertente dato che è una vera e propria barca dismessa trasformata in un pub che vi farà sentire dei veri lacustri! L'arredamento interno è un po' datato però tutto sommato è carino e certamente accogliente, così come il personale che è molto cordiale e simpaticissimo! Noi abbiamo preso un aperitivo appunto: due spritz, uno Campari e uno Aperol, molto buoni, ben bilanciati, in generale fatti molto bene. Ovviamente, il tutto è stato servito con degli stuzzichini, quelli classici, patatine, olive e salatini vari. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è molto onesto e il servizio veloce e molto efficiente. Una pausa diversa dal solito, sicuramente molto carina e divertente!

Il pub è molto bello soprattutto essendo una barca è una cosa meravigliosa fare l’aperitivo sul lago. L’arredo potrebbe essere migliorato ma è sempre un fattore soggettivo può piacere o non. Il personale gentilissimo e professionale. Abbiamo fatto l’aperitivo analcolico della casa molto buono. Per parcheggiare non ci sono grosse difficoltà c’è il parcheggio publico difronte almeno che non ci sia il mercato e all’ora diventa mission impossibile . Sicuramente se ritorneremo a Lovere ci fermiamo in questo pub .

Locale con ampia veranda trasparente, una parte invece è ubicata su un battello galleggiante...con splendida vista lago. Il personale è cordiale e i cocktail con gli stuzzichini li abbiamo trovati gustosi...per chi volesse anche farsi un giro al mercato settimanale consigliamo di andarci il sabato mattina

Consiglio di sedersi sulla barca che rende tutto più bello. Servizio gentile e alla mano, cocktail buoni, piatti discreti. Ottimo se si cercano piatti non troppo ricercati ed elaborati.

Pub carino posto sulla barca, molto originale. Aperitivo e pranzo buoni, niente di particolare. Noi abbiamo preso dei panini perché i primi erano congelati. Andrebbe messa qualche tovaglia perché alcuni tavoli sono rovinati.

It’s a cozy place for an aperitif! But the place is a little worn down and need some upgrades.

Stopped by on a whim after helping my buddy shave his tires at a local tire shop. Was greeted by the cashier in the front and I asked if they would give me recommendations as a first timer there. Was given options of the fish tacos, burrito supreme (more like smothered chimichanga he said), and the queso burger. Finished it off with a not-dry Mexican chocolate cake (looks like it was layered as oatmeal, brownie, and cake). No waiting time really since we are past peak lunch time and middle of nowhere haha. Overall the food was not bad with our highest rating going to the fish tacos (8/10) as it was technically enough for me to split our 2 tacos into 4 in a way 😅. The queso burger seems pretty standard just with queso instead of your usual standard fare with American cheese (plus it could just be I'm not too fond of cheeses in general). The burrito supreme initially reminded me of taco bell food in which I lol'd at first, but after a few more bites with the salsa, I thought it was also above par with like a 6. We did also try the green bean casserole (which i know not a lot of people like) but for once it actually looked fresh and not the sorry looking discolored green beans from a can. I would most likely get that side again with something like the chicken fried steak frfr. There are a good amount of dishes to choose from, so maybe in the future I will return and try them if I happen to stop by for some reason in Wharton 😛. Thank you friends ❤️

Standard Texas Fare with Daily Specials. If you want barbecue don't come to this Hinze's but any other will have it. I've been to 3 locations and they are all super friendly and efficient. This one had a nicer atmosphere. Great sides and deserts.

We lunched here recently on the advice of a local. Spouse and I enjoyed a grilled chicken salad with tomato, cukes, egg, and cheese. Friendly counter service, but there wasn't a chance to leave a tip. Cute country motif.

Location affascinante con tavolini a L all'interno di una imbarcazione. Bella la vista con splendide vetrate. Il menù è molto vasto e si può scegliere fra diverse tipologie di piatti, aperitivi e dolci. Porzioni abbondanti e prezzi nella norma. Solo a mio gusto personale (e non è una critica ma solo gusti personali) avrei tostato molto di più la piadina e non solo appena scaldata. Nel complesso direi consigliato

I was looking for something on my way home, this place came up with high reviews in a quick search. I ordered the grilled chicken, collard greens and macaroni with cheese as the sides. Comes with a slice of homemade white bread. They have plenty of friendly staff. The restaurant was really clean. The food was all good. The collard greens were some of the best I’ve had. Only drawback was the Mac and cheese. Box mix. Everything else is homemade, but they used boxed Mac and cheese? Unless they perfected a copycat recipe.
