The food is very good. Authentic Mexican dishes with American choices. The owner is an extremely friendly and welcoming person who makes everyone feel like family. Also the orange juice is freshly squeezed and the best I've ever tasted!

First time here and this place is amazing. You almost pass it driving downtown through old Lower Lake. Outside looks remodeled and very nice, with great woodwork craftsmanship. Once inside, the place is on the small side but very welcoming, clean and perfectly spaced with lots of television and clear view of the outside through large windows. Not to mention the warm greeting we immediately received once we entered through the door. We came around the beginning of lunchtime so there was no crowd, but that quickly changed towards the end of our meal which tells me the place is pretty popular! We ordered the bacon cheeseburger and French dip sandwich from the lunch menu and they were absolutely delicious! I asked for medium rare on my burger and it was on point! We both agreed that fries were a hit… perfectly cooked, the right amount of seasoning and crispness/crunchiness!!! Definitely on our agenda to visit again and try their breakfast and dinner menu!

Stopped here for breakfast on Saturday. The staff is super friendly and nice. Great service and kitchen is pushing out high-quality delicious food in a timely manner. I had the two egg breakfast with hashbrowns and bacon. I asked for them to be crispy because he can’t have either if they’re not crispy! The kitchen cooked them perfectly thanks for the great breakfast

I was in the area and decided to stop. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. My husband got the 8oz ribeye steak, and I ordered the huevos rancheros. We also ordered a quesadilla, and it was good. The food was very delicious. However, their Orchata was watered down.

Our first time coming here for dinner and it didn’t disappoint. Burrata for appetizer, Rack of Lamb and Pastor Pizza were all delicious! We can’t wait to come back and try more dishes next time!

Ordered a standard, old fashioned cheeseburger. Perfectly grilled as requested and all additional veggie toppings were fresh and crisp. There seemed to be something extra in the beef giving it a little spicy kick though there were no additional beef ingredients specified in the menu listing. Another patron noticed it (verifying I didn't imagine it) and asked what was added to the beef to give it the kick. Server appeared to have no knowledge of spices in the beef. French fries were some of the best I've had in a long time and perfectly prepared. Meal arrived hot and fresh. Server knowledgeable and attentive. Overall, the best burger I've had in Lake County in a long time. Menu pricing was appropriate. Dining area very clean and tastefully decorated. Exterior fresh, new, well kept. I hope they do well. They and their owner are a great addition to the community!

Darn! I forgot her name 😔 but she offered the most Excellent service I’ve had in a good while. The Old Mill was one of those rare finds we occasionally came across at stops made randomly on our 17 day NW USA camping adventure. It’s actually located in the building that originally housed a town mill, updated and cute. The food? Muwaaaah (kisses fingertips)! The best breakfast cooked fast, served hot.

Got the Mickey Mouse pancake from the kids menu even though I'm an adult. No regrets. Delicious fries, great service, clean facilities, and good prices.

Always a great experience! Wonderful breakfast, prepared with passion! We love the Vegy omlett and great home fry potatoes!! + Excellent home made salsa!! Friendly service and conversation!! Always clean and bright. Even flowers on the tables in February!! We haven’t tried dinner yet but looks tastey!!

First time here. South Lake County needs a good breakfast spot and this is it. The food was fresh and tasted good. Service was friendly and attentive. My coffee cup was always full and the coffee was high quality. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. I'm sure lunch is just as good, but I'll have to save that for another time. First time here. South Lake County needs a good breakfast spot and this is it. The food was fresh and tasted good. Service was friendly and attentive. My coffee cup was always full and the coffee was high quality. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. I'm sure lunch is just as good, but I'll have to save that for another time. Please stop by, you won't regret.

We liked it okay. No major issues. I did have the street tacos at a special price. Beef tasted like it was cooked yesterday and warmed up. Served with cilantro and raw onions. Wish it was cooked with the onions, skip the cilantro and add pico degallio on the side with sour cream. Good service, he had a thick accent but he did his job. It was clean and so was the restroom. Went to the old mill restaurant in Lower Lake yesterday and had a bacon avocado Burger and fries.... Got to say the Burger was juicy cooked the way i like it. Plus I got complimentary chips, salsa, and bean dip. I've been there before for breakfast and it was so so but I believe it was because they had first opened and working some kinks out , for 20 $ I was able to get a 1/2 pound cheeseburger with thick strips of bacon and a side of fries plus the chips and salsa. Definitely good bang for your buck. The customer service was good, and the food quality was good. Also I would say 4 out of 5 stars and I definitely recommend it.

Nice customer service, decent portions and good burgers, just don't order the dips, they are a congealed lump someone needs to teach them how to make "sauce" not just melted cheese. The chicken fried steak is not a beefsteak it's a very thin cutlet, more bread matter than meat .

I was pretty disappointed by the French dip sandwich. The bread was old and the meat was pretty dry. My friend sandwich was also lackluster according to him. The restaurant was clean and the service was great. The price was reasonable.

It's late , it's the weekend, I'm hungry. Usually things shut down after 7 but this place has a later closing time on the weekends. A small dinner menu but good and their Orange juice and Lemonade is the best I've ever tasted. New and friendly atmosphere .

I wish I could rate this place higher and would like to give them another try. Place seems wildly inconsistent. My Alfredo with prawns was bad. Like, really bad. Small portion Spaghetti noodles with butter and 7 small frozen shrimp are what I got. The bottom of the container (we got to go) had "Alfredo" water at the bottom of it. $22? Really? My wife's chicken teriyaki bowl was better priced and better quality food, but I mean not by much. Tiramisu was alright. Best thing? My daughters chicken quesadillas. Best quality out of what we got. Service was great and timely. The place looks like it's trying to be a little more upscale, but that can't just mean charging higher prices for mid quality food. Will give another chance for sure, though. Update: another experience that is wildly inconsistent. Got a French dip and honestly felt like I could have got the same quality at a gas station. I'm not trying to be so harsh to this place, but for what they are charging, I'm blown away. I feel this place has a ton of potential, but at this point in time, this place is mediocre at best. Update: So i tried again....why? Idk. Tried something different this time. Maybe it'll be better....nope guess not. This looked when it came out, but i was nothing but disappointed again. Looks right, but like this place, it's very deceiving. It feels like AI made this. Never had a poke bowl like this, and not in a good way. The waitress pronouncing it poke (like poking) was pretty humorous. Still can't find myself giving them a 2star for some reason though.

I've been twice. First time the rice was dry. They were out of the Mahi mahi and was told the bowl dish, that I originally wanted was not good, they get a lot of complaints. Second time, out of pork chops at 6pm. Ordered the chicken and it was bland, small and flavorless. Over priced and not recommended.

Chili releno wasn't even cooked was still tough. Just terrible. I won't go back. Rice had hard dry rice chunks like it was old . Who ever cooked my meal needs to do way better. Totally unacceptable birthday lunch. I didn't even eat but few bites of the beans which were decent. Great friendly waitress & service though. They offered refund which is nice& said sorry. But my food should have never been served like that .
