Hemos parado de casualidad, lo cierto no teniamos reserva y nos han atendido a pesar de estar el comedor lleno que ya es un detallazo, hemos comido un variado pulpo, en su punto y una ración abundante, las croquetas de jamón espectaculares,el cachopo villuir de lujo, calamares de luarca tiernos y con un sabor increible, y como no, una fabada asturiana de quitarse el sombrero. Sin duda será un sitio que volveré a visitar.
Llamamos para comer con dos horas de antelación y nos dieron mesa,estaba la zona completa y ellos también! Atención muy correcta y rápida para ser hora punta y estar hasta los topes,me gustó mucho el local tiene muchísimos ventanales con unas vistas preciosas. Comimos unos calamares de entrante que estaban muy buenos ,aunque me parecieron caros en comparación al resto y de segundo pedimos una fabada que estaba espectacular ,de postre un pudín que estaba buenísimo. Pecios muy correctos. Los baños limpios y con todo lo necesario.
Llegué en bici y me adaptaron un sitio sin problema para no separarme de mis cosas. El trato fue en todo momento excepcional. Se come como en ningún otro sitio, ya no solo en calidad sino en cantidad. Es un "debe" para quienes pasen por allí.
Estando de viaje a galicia paramos a cenar porque vi buenas reseñas del sitio. Vaya acierto !!!... éramos 4 y pedimos 3 menús de 25€ y al cuarto que no quería el menú le sugirieron una sopa de marisco y merluza a la plancha. Que rico todo y que cantidades !!!... con los 3 menús habríamos comido los 4. La merluza a la plancha de las mejores que he probado, El menú traía un pudin de pescado riquísimo, unas croquetas caseras muy ricas, un arroz caldoso con marisco que se te saltaban las lágrimas, llevo de trozos de nécoras y gambones por doquier y un pedazo cachopo, bien relleno de queso y jamón serrano acompañado de patatas fritas naturales espectacular... los postres ran caseros buenísimos. El trato de los camareros muy bueno, amigable y cercano, y siempre atentos a lo que nos faltaba. Lo que nos sobró, nos lo pusieron para llevar con mucho mimo. Un gran acierto.
Lo primero, es una atención de 10. Por el precio de menú te tratan como un señor. Bien atendido, bien servido, con simpatía, con profesionalidad y buen ambiente. Te ofrecen un menú y te aconseja entre 3 plantos. Fuimos tres y cada uno pidió uno diferente y fue un espectáculo de buen comer. La presentación es espectacular,los sabores en su gusta medida , con su pizca de sal, aceite y olores. La comida que nos sirvieron parecía elabora en el momento. Fuera de menú, incluso añadieron unos aperitivos al principio, luego una ración de patatas. Le pongo cinco estrellas pero si hubiera 6 las tendría. El precio 10 euros de menú. El precio era muy inferior a la calidad y presentación del producto. Desde fuera parece un bar de carretera, pero luego dentro tiene un par de comedores. Uno de ellos mirando al mar, con espectáculares vistas. Lo tienen decorado acordé al lugar. Los servicios limpios, la cocina cuando se abre la puerta se ve ordenada y limpia. El café, muy importante después de comer bien, estaba muy bueno , no sé la marca pero tenía un buen sabor y bien elaborado. Tiene aparcamiento fuera, varias terrazas donde sentarse y no hay escaleras. Nosotros fuimos en pandemia, y tenía gel en varios lugares, se mantenía la distancia entre mesas, bien ventilado. Cuando se levantaron la mesa las limpiaron con producto. Bueno, en resumen, de 10. ¡Volveremos!
Este restaurante es una joya. En concreto, Evelio ha sido un anfitrión espectacular. La comida abundante, de calidad, con mucha atención y el trato inmejorable. Recomendadísimo!!

When I go to this bar, it's like stepping back into my childhood. It's the bar my father first took me to, Los Chavales, as he called it. The truth is, it never disappoints. Years and years have passed, and I've never seen anything I didn't like. The service is good, it's clean, and the tapas are top-notch. In short, it's a place I'll return to whenever I can.
We ordered the gastronomic menu and everything was very good and in very generous quantities. They also offered us seconds of the cachopo if we wanted. The rockfish pie was exquisite. The croquettes were very juicy. The seafood rice was tasty and in large quantities. The only thing worth mentioning about the cachopo is that it's made with pork, but it was quite good. Drinks and desserts were included in the price of 30 euros per person. We also ordered a separate Asturian pot, which was delicious and could have been eaten by two or three people, although it was for one, at a price of 14 euros. Finally, even though the dessert was included for two who ordered the menu, they were kind enough to add an extra flan for the third person at no extra cost. It was definitely worth it. Absolutely recommend it.
We came with low expectations, but they exceeded them completely. Friendly waiters and a 10/10 for the food. We ordered the fabes and the cachopo for a truly Asturian experience, and we couldn't have made a better choice. Highly recommended.
A place with good service, exquisite food, and a relaxed atmosphere. We went with our two dogs for lunch, and the waiter let us in with them without any problems. Having arrived before the kitchen was open, they served us at the table anyway, also serving us a couple of tapas. The food was delivered quickly. We ordered cachopos (large and filling), and rice pudding for dessert. All the food is homemade and delicious, and they also offer takeout. The waiter who served us was very pleasant and helpful. It was definitely a great choice.
A restaurant serving traditional and incredibly delicious food. As is typical in Asturias, the portions are generous. We ordered the tasting menu for three and a "Villuir" cachopo for another guest. The tasting menu is highly recommended if you want to try a little bit of everything. It includes rockfish pie and homemade croquettes as starters, a soupy seafood rice dish, and cachopo, along with a homemade dessert. The service is attentive and efficient. We'll definitely be back.
Great food ! Lovely waiters. The 25 euro menu looked great value but we shared 2 mains as.weren't that hungry. Amazing food.
We had lunch the other day and loved everything. The service was very good, and they gave us some great recommendations. The atmosphere was wonderful. Despite having a fairly large family nearby, the atmosphere wasn't at all noisy; people were able to talk very well. The food was very good. Fabada, ribs, entrecotes, croquettes, salad... everything was very, very good. From the outside, it's deceiving because it looks like a roadside bar, but once you get inside, you discover a quality restaurant in every sense. The prices aren't expensive for the quality/quantity of the dishes. I can't comment on the desserts because I didn't try them, but they were certainly delicious. If you're in the area and want a good meal in a relaxed atmosphere, this place is highly recommended. The waiters are also very professional and friendly.

We are pilgrims walking on our way to Santiago & happened upon this restaurant after many miles of walking today, on a hot sunny day. What a wonderful oasis! By far the best meal I've had since I arrived in Spain 27 days ago & I've had many excellent meals. I give this restaurant my highest recommendation for both service & food quality & presentation. Loved it. 😍

Nice presentation and Situation. The food was very good, we ordered a seafood soup and a tiramisu. I recommend this restaurant.
My wife is vegetarian, there are not many vegetarian options on the menu but she has been offered many different vegetarian dishes, after all they prepared a big meal consisting of rice with mushrooms, grilled vegetables and salad with asparagus. It was really delicious! The willingness to prepare a vegetarian meal was outstanding, extremely helpful, 5 stars!
We arrived quite late to have lunch and they attended us with no problems, really nice people and service. The food was amazing and abundant; we actually couldn't finish it, so they offered to prepare it to take away. You won't be disappointed.
It's not easy to find Vegan food in Spain, but this lovely family ran restaurant in Asturias prepared a special salad for me without having to explain what I could and couldn't eat. They even gave me options! Speak to the family, they have a lovely sense of humour and stories to share. Will definitely come back here for the vegan rice dish!

Un auténtica experiencia gastronómica asturiana y ganas de volver. Pan de 10++, algo que es normal en Galicia y en esta región de Asturias donde estamos. Junto a la ensalada de la casa pedimos dos platos de espárragos rellenos en salsa de oricios (erizo de mar), un cachopo XXL, bebida más los cafés y un detalle que tuvieron. Excelente atención y rápidos en el servicio.
Comemos muy bien cada vez que vamos, pero es verdad que el camarero de la barra es más seco que una barra de pan de siete días. Cuando ya tienen confianza con el cliente, la profesionalidad se queda a un lado ... Por lo demás todo bien, la comida es rica, que es lo importante.

Based on the reviews, I expected more, and all I can say is that the food is decent but nothing more, including the cachopo, which I found to be quite average. The dessert was average and also expensive (€5.50 for a flan that wasn't made well). The service was rather erratic.
Contrary to recent reviews, I can't really say we loved it. We ordered the gastronomic menu (€25 without a drink or coffee). The quantity was fine, but the quality wasn't worth the price. Both the croquettes and the rice were quite bland, and the cachopo wasn't anything special either. In this case, we wouldn't go back, nor can we recommend it... but you can't always get it right.
Experiencia bastante mala. Menú de 30€. Entrante croquetas, una única ración para los 3 menús, tocando a 2 croquetas cada uno Arroz caldoso de marisco decente, cachopo "troceado". El mismo cachopo para 3 menús que en otras mesas sacaban para 2. Para cobrar hubo que casi enfadarse para que hicieran caso mientras que a mesas de conocidos al momento. Caro, escaso y mal atendido
The service and food at the restaurant are excellent, but the local man who runs the bar is incredibly rude. He's the exception that proves the rule, because everyone in this area is very friendly, except for this guy. He doesn't speak to you, doesn't even say good morning, and practically throws the food on the table, making you feel uncomfortable and mistreated. He does talk to the regulars, so he must have a grudge against those of us who aren't from here. 0% recommended. There are places nearby where the service is good and the food is delicious. It's not worth paying to be served with such bad manners.
