I so appreciate getting a treat to come eat there for my birthday! I got the 6 oz Angus steak and it was so very delicious! I ordered it medium and it was so tender and juicy and the flavor so yummy! I got button mushrooms on it and it was heavenly! If you want a superb steak, come here! My husband got the fish and chips and he said it was better than when we visited Florida.

Everything was so delicious! Callen was our server and was on top of it! Drinks were always full and he checked on us appropriately. Can’t recommend the pickle chips, chicken sandwich, or country fried steak enough. I recommend 100%

My son’s fraternity had a mom’s weekend dinner here. The food was delicious. The drinks were really nice. The staff was very attentive and ensured that everyone had everything they ordered and was very efficient at that. We were really impressed with how Aspen Creek was able to handle a large group on a weekend night with exemplary service and true quality of food. Hopefully the fraternity will host more events here but if not we will regularly eat here when we visit Lubbock.

Lets start with getting thru the the front door. As I entered the restaurant I asked the hostes how long was the wait? She responded 20 to 30 min. We all know that's really good so I gave her my name and phone number and left. Like Clockwork I got a text and a call saying my table was ready. I would have waited an hour or so doing it that way. I chose a booth and things continued to improve. Our waitress introduced herself "Tehya" offered suggestions for hors d'oeuvres and we chose the battered mushrooms. She was very attentive without hovering. The food was served quickly, hot and with a smile. At the end of our meal she offered dessert we declined stating we were going to the pop up carnival for funnel cakes. She responded with that sounds delicious enjoy the rest of your evening. I've lived in Lubbock since 2003 and Tehya was the best waitress I have had here. She was tipped accordingly. Side not to management, keep the girl she's the reason my wife and I will return. The food was great too.

Been coming here (often!) since this place opened in Lubbock. We have never experienced a lapse in service, food quality or quantity, or good attitude of waitstaff! Have never had to send a steak or any other meal item back!

We've been coming to Aspen Creek Grill since we moved to town last year. The food is always good to great and service is always good, too. Tonight we had a mishap with my Hawaiian Chicken. Our waitress immediately called the manager, they had a discussion with the kitchen and then the manager came to check on us. They made it right and then some. Excellent customer service!

This was my first time going here, and I will definitely go again! Good variety of food. There were 4 in my party and everyone absolutely loved their food. The portions were of good size. The service was excellent. I had the Monte Cristo and it was SO delicious! The fried mushrooms were also very good. My daughter had shrimp and grits which she loved. My granddaughter had a perfectly cooked steak. My son-in-law also had the Monte Christo and also loved it. If you want good food, good service and to enjoy a nice meal, definitely go here!

I loved it here! The atmosphere was simply stunning and the food was exquisite!!! My steak was done to perfection and was juicy and tender to the very last bite. The mashed potatoes were perfectly seasoned as well as the rice. The wings were so tender and the fries sent me on a trip down memory lane! I recommend this place to anyone that wants an amazing meal that's worth the price. My compliments to the chef today. You all are doing amazing!

As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a smile and sat at our table. The waitress was quick to come and get our drink order. When I go to a steak house I usually have to add blue cheese on top of my steak, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the “Aspen Bleu Sirloin”. This 10oz sirloin with blue cheese crust hit the spot! It was cooked medium with a lot of flavor and very tender. My sides were Mac and cheese and a loaded baked potato and both hit the spot. I was in town for work and this place definitely hit the spot after a long day. I will definitely be back when I am in town.

Customer service is top notch and with such an awesome variety of food options you’ll not have a bad meal. If you’re a sports fan you’ll love it too as there’s television everywhere and the bar is the perfect hangout. A must go visit restaurant here in Lubbock.

Any time that you can leave a restaurant full, happy and with some food to take with us, well that's a good meal. What started off as a slow service and possibly disappointing meal was quickly turned around by the manager/bartender on duty. The food was really good, very well priced and the restaurant itself was very clean and comfortable and dare I say it- a really good deal and strong value for dinner. I had the 10oz sirloin. It was lean and meaty and perfect. The Aspen Grill Chicken salad was big and generous amounts of chicken were given. The kids meals were also great value for money. We don't live here in Lubbock, but would definitely come back if coming through town and we needed a sit down meal.

Have only been there once but everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. Update: I have eaten there quite a few times now and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend the salmon (cooked perfectly every time I have ordered it) and the spicy salad with crispy chicken or salmon.The mashed potatoes are absolutely delicious. The chocolate explosion is so decadent, rich and delicious! Perfect desert to share. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Lubbock. Delicious and worth the price!

Oh was this place good!!!! I have to say this is our second time eating here and it never disappoints! We came to eat here for hubby's birthday. We ordered an appetizer each, he ordered the Fireside Shrimp and I had the Green Chili Queso with seasoned meat. Oh, the chips were thin and crispy and the queso had nice kick to it, very delicious! My hubby really enjoyed his Fireside Shrimp, it was nice and buttery garlic with some bread to go with it. I ordered the Sirloin 8oz steak medium well with a side of broccoli and green beans. I can't say enough how well my steak was cooked nice and juicy and the broccoli was so good I didn't even eat my green beans. As for my husband's dinner, he got the Fish & Chips. The Cod was fresh and tender, very well cooked, he just wished that the fries were more of a steak fries instead of the small thin fries, then the dish would have been perfect. Still, everything was still delicious. To top it all off, he got a birthday sundae and a crew to sing him happy birthday, he even shared his ice cream with me.

Every time we come we always try something new and it has never disappointed. Today was yet another fantastic recommended dinner by our waiter. Always a great atmosphere and such great service. My wife and I had a fantastic dinner this evening. We had potato skins appetizer, and taking most of them home for later. My wife ordered the Hawaiian chicken with Mac & cheese and sautéed button mushrooms. I had the Mile High Meatloaf with mashed potatoes, and off the cob elote. For desert, we had fried cheesecake. We LOVE Aspen Creek! Not only is the food fantastic, but the service is amazing, and they are so committed to partnering and blessing the community! We got sat pretty quickly for a Sunday after church crowd. The place was pretty busy. Few minutes after being sat the manager came and got our drink orders since our server was busy. Server came shortly after and got our food order. Food took a little longer than usual but it was busy and we're not your typical church group known for Sunday crowds so we were ok with it. Our server kept us informed of the delay. Got our food and I'm telling you that was the best burger and fries I've had in a long time. Definitely will be going back. Great service, great food. Don't remember our servers name or I would definitely give her a shout out.

I met a group of coworkers here for dinner. I ordered a rare 12 oz ribeye with green beans and onion rings. When I meal arrived, I was worried that my ribeye was overcooked due to the dark colour. After cutting the steak, I saw that it was cooked a proper rare, then seared and seasoned to perfection! The green beans and onion rings were delicious complements to the steak. This was my first visit and I would definitely return.

Veterans Day treated us to a great dinner this evening! Calan was our waiter. He did an outstanding job. Very attentive kept my water glass full! We started off with an appetizer of fried mushrooms. A very large portion and really good! Then came our salad, which was very fresh and plenty of toppings. (We dove off into this a little quick and did not get a picture). We love the fact they had egg and tomato, and piled on top. Oh, croutons were extra fresh and delicious, had to put that in there because some places the croutons are hard and old. Waited just a little bit for the entrée, and it did not disappoint. It was definitely worth the wait. We ordered the chicken fried chicken and it came with two decently portion sized breaded chicken breast and homemade mashed potatoes smothered with a delicious cream gravy. All in all, definitely recommended! I know I used the word delicious in this quite a bit, but it was really tasty.

Our server tonight was Justin and everything was wonderful! His awesome personality and recommendations were very good. Honestly, by far our BEST experience here. We had the green chile queso with chips and my husband asked about the salsa after it was offered for an additional charge. Then we split the mile high spicy meatloaf…GREAT taste! At 8:30 p.m. today December 5th I went to Aspen to eat dinner by myself but I had a wonderful server her name was Riley. She came by several times she checked on me and made sure that I had everything I needed. She treated me with respect and kindness. But you don't see very often anymore. And they hostess ladies up front acknowledged me when I walked in. both the ladies were very nice. I talked to the manager Dylan. He was very nice and friendly and appreciative of being told of how great his staff was and he explained that they teach them to be that way. So if you want a great place with grapefruit and great people I would say go there.

We came here for lunch around 1:30 on 8/12. We were seated immediately. The staff was amazingly warm and welcoming, and when they found out it was our first time visiting, the manager came by to introduce themselves and gave us a complimentary appetizer for our next visit! We ordered the green chili queso as our appetizer, which was warm and flavorful with fresh crispy chips. Then our steaks came out perfectly cooked to order and deliciously seasoned. The sides were just as yummy! The fish tacos were also very delicious if you are looking to avoid red meat. Overall, we enjoyed our meal, and we will be back!

Very good food- chicken bacon burger very large portions. My son got the hot habanero burger! Excellent food. Do not be distracted by the very old flooring!

I was here during their special for steak with a big group of friends so I don’t mind the mistakes this time. Our waiter tried his best I assumed. However, he got our drinks all mixed up. I wouldn’t recommend the flavored tea; it just regular tea with lots of syrup in it which is overwhelmingly sweet and pricey. Our food took around an hour to be served but it was tasty I’m not gonna lie. I like their Mac and Cheese 👍🏻 I requested my stake to be rare but it was medium well so it’s a little chewy but again maybe it’s because of the party size. I might come back and give them another try 🤞🏻

This was a great stop. I started off at the bar and tried a few of their seasonal treats. Service was friendly, the food good, and the noise level tolerable in an early Friday evening. Everyone needs to wash their hand these days, and the loo was clean and stylish. At first, I didn't notice the sparkles on the ceiling, but when I did, I laughed at the disco ball. All told, I spent exactly $50, including an over-sized tip for the great service. It would have been even better fun with a friend.

Steak house restaurant. Had overall a great experience eating at Aspen Creek Grill. Food processing time is bit too much but the food quality was exemplary. One of the best restaurants in town for steak alongside one of the best places for Salmon imo. Delicious but not expensive. Met my expectations mostly.

Food was reliably good as usual and my server was great. The food came out within ten minutes of me ordering. Impressed! The speed and the sandwich being cooler than it should have been tells me that it was probably made before I ordered for another table and they just brought it to me since I was dining alone. It was still good though!

I had a lazy lunch here with my sister and thoroughly enjoy it. My burger was good and the fries were tasty. My sister's meal had some issues, but the staff quickly corrected everything. They apologized profusely and made everything right. I'll definitely be coming back.

The Hawaiian chicken was very tasty and had a little spice to it. The deep Fried Cheesecake- the cheesecake was still a little frozen in the middle, but still very good. First time I have been in to dine. Potato skins ARE amazing! A platter full for $7.99. I got the Chicken Finger dinner...it was huge! I have leftovers for tomorrow! Plus,they were so crispy and meat was not dry... really tender! I asked for a Lemon Drop Martini. It wasn't the best, a bit sour, but still drinkable. My granddaughter LOVED her grilled cheese, too.

Came here with my family to celebrate my daughters birthday. We had a great time. The food was good. Prices were a little on the higher side for my taste but that is to be expected from a restaurant in a premium location like this.

It’s good. The service was really good, the server was very attentive and always refilled our drinks and just generally made sure we were okay. I had the lunch pair, a club sandwich and the Caesar salad. The Caesar salad was really good, the club sandwich was a sandwich, and I felt I could make that at home, so not that great. The price was reasonable and it’s a nice place to have lunch with family and friends.

I don't like to send food back because I just hate to think what the chef might do to it when I complain about something being undercooked - So, I just don't complain. I ate it and it was decent but they need to learn to temp their steaks

We had steak 🥩 you can tell they're not 3D printed that's hard to come by these days. Thank Y'ALL for that 🙏 They have alcohol. Not sure how strong the drinks are.

This place gave me cheddars with a twist vibes! They had a lot of really similar dishes but also had a few that cheddars doesn’t serve at all. 4 stars for the food! For starters we all got flavored sweet teas and they were good! Our waitress’ name was Nat & she wasn’t a great waitress but wasn’t a bad waitress either. She didn’t bring my salad out til after I got my meal and then brought it with no dressing so I had to wait to eat it. She brought us extra tea refills though lol. I ordered the smothered pork loin and it was delicious! Cooked perfectly! I took the salad to go and it was fresh and delicious later. The appetizer was a spinach dip and it was far too much spinach but it was alright tasting. For dessert I ordered fried cheesecake and it was life changing! I’m still thinking about the fried cheesecake today! The atmosphere is nice and more elegant than cheddars. Very homey. We enjoyed our lunch.

Ribeye was as good as it's always been, however it took quite a while to get our food.

I ordered the rainbow trout and was surprised there were no lemons or pepper included. The steak was alright. The women's restroom was overflowing in toilet paper and towels in the bins and on the floor. Wait staff was hanging out at the hostess podium. It seemed unprofessional since there were obvious tasks to be taken care of.

Ordered the Salmon 8 oz filet. Wasn't seasoned and tasted over cooked the pink had gone completely. The shrimp was boiled and came on a bed of rice with some sort of gravy. Not a do over. Yes so probably ordering salmon wasn't the best idea.

Hawaiian Chicken was overcooked. Mac and cheese looks like it was from a Kraft box (horrible). Salmon covered in lobster sauce was ok. The side of shrimp cooked in olive oil, garlic and herbs was the best. But overall, I have to give it 2-3 stars for food.

We eat here frequently, and today was the first day we were disappointed. The steak was very rare and tough. It is like whoever cooked it did not know what they were doing. It seems like it was cooked on one side but not the other. Our appetizer came out at the same time as the meal. Not a huge deal, but we think the waitress forgot to put the appetizer order in, then she blamed the kitchen. If they place you in a back booth by the kitchen ask to be reseated. The alarm in the kitchen goes off constantly. We eat at Aspen Creek Grill often and always have had a great experience. We wanted to share these concerns so they can be rectified.

Food was delicious which what saved the evening. Sunday night and our waiter was done. Didn't remove a single glass or plate, just kept adding to the table. Left me the kiosk to pay and walked away. I like Aspen so I'll be back, just hope the service is better.

The atmosphere was home welcoming! I got the Asiago chicken pasta and apperently, they've delivered me a medium well chicken........ I didn't know that existed. Anyways, staffs handled my situation well but the pasta was pretty good. Chicken was totally out of place, and my appetizer was amazing.

Stopped here for dinner while traveling with a group of people. Got seated quickly, placed drink orders and then waited. And waited. And waited. A few sodas came out. A water or two arrived later. After about 15 minutes, a beer arrived. And that basically set the pace and tone for the night. When we finally got our orders, the reviews were mixed but the general consensus was this place was like a mom-n-pop Applebees. Not the greatest but not the worst. A lot of the items seemed to have been cooked by Chef Mic - hot on the outside; cold on the inside. Same dishes were inconsistent, too - one order of the meatloaf was decent. The other was cold and very lackluster. The truffle fries were comical - a small plate of fries, doused in a squeeze bottle truffle-mayo with bagged shredded Parmesan dumped on top. Not worth $8 by any means. Service remained pretty dismal. Our server was a young man; he forgot side salads for several of us, was slow to refill drinks; forgot a dessert order… I know it’s tough to find good help, but this guy was pretty bad and didn’t seem to care about anything. Wouldn’t return. As much as I’m not a fan of chain steakhouses, I’d look for a Roadhouse or Logan’s instead. We all left and wished we had gone to Costco for a dog and slice instead of here. Owner: no need to reply.

The sautéed mushrooms and brocolli were good, but the steak was terrible. I've never had a steak so full of grissle in every bite.

We hadn't gone here for awhile cause of a bad experience last time , so we wanted to give another shot .. As soon as we got there the hosts were rude and didn't care hate to say it but definitely felt like we were discriminated against. I could understand if they were busy I wouldn't be saying anything right now, But we made reservation for 8 Said for us to he there by 553 , we there at 545 . 5 of our party was there , asked if we could sit if its ready , told us No all is had to be there infront of them . We Said OK. So we waited, Other people showed up some had the whole party on no problem. Them had a group of 7 waiting on 2 others , they got seated . So we asked can we get seated. Nope it's our policy everyone must be present. And then another group showed up missing 2 again. After 2 min they got seated Said they are on there way they no problem we will seat you. Again we Said what how come you sat them and not us? Again it our policy and then ignored us like they were busy. The rest our party 3 other showed up 5 min later , we told them they are here walking up ,and they he replied in a condescending voice. Do you wanna seat or do you wanna wait for them to be sure it's them. It took everything I had to bite my lip to for him to speak to my wife like that. Now I will give our waiter props very good fast and polite great worker, food was OK definitely it has been better on other occasions. Again I would understand if they were busy they multiple servers hanging out and the hosts in thier phones what a surprise. Just look at my pics I took while we were waiting. We could have been sitting orderinf drinks and appetizers and building a tab making them money, but instead they rather have us sit in a no profit seats not ordering , we normally get about $100 in drinks alone, we spent $25. For this reason. We won't be back. I definitely don't recommend this place to anyone. There are far too many other restaurants with better service you can visit and get better food . I travel quite a bit on business so I try new restaurants everywhere I go. For this place the first clue should have been the parking lot being fairly empty for dinner but I still gave the place a chance which was a mistake. The food was sub-par at best. I ordered the 16oz ribeye cooked medium with sautéed oniins abd mushrooms, sweet potato casserole, and Spanish style corn for my sides. While the ribeye was cooked to order atleast 6oz out of the 16oz was pure fat and the corn had so much vinegar in it that it was inedible. I sent the mushrooms and onions back to get sautéed a little long and literally got back 6 mushrooms and 5 onion pieces. The only positive about the restaurant was Colton the bartender. He made some good suggestions on which beers to try.

Our server was personable and cute! The menu brags about their family raised beef. We had been traveling all day. We were looking forward to a nice chicken fried steak. The meat was anything but tender. There were many bites that couldn't even be chewed. My husband's was pink in the middle. I've never seen that in a chicken fried steak before. The batter on the steak and the onion rings was super crispy and tasted of old oil. It was near closing but I would rather be told something wasn't available than get a bad meal.

After my bad experience for Mother’s Day, AJ, the owner was amazing. He made up for more than expected. He provided lunch for us an appetizer and dessert. My service was superb. My food was delicious. I had chicken fried steak, which was tender and juicy delicious delicious the best of Lubbock mashed potatoes With some beer battered onion rings. We had a powwow shrimp. Oh my God you get so many shrimp it is so so so delicious on a bit of cabbage my kids had a cheeseburger and grilled chicken with macaroni, hot fresh delicious and oh my God if you gotta make room for dessert, you don’t get one little slice of cheesecake. You get two and it’s deep fried. It comes with ice cream and caramel sauce. We have food for all day thank you Aspen Creek for making it the best experience we will be recommending you and we will definitely be back. Thank you for great service and thank you for making my birthday special.

You know when I got there and they asked if it was my first time there and I told them yes and they go through all the trouble of putting that little pice of tape at the end of the table it was the worst service I have ever had at a restaurant the food was good but the service trash I sat through my whole meal without a drink and never seen my waitress to ask for more when I finally asked another waitress for help all I was told was that she would get my waitress and the waiting continued still never got a drink and then I brought it up to my waitress she was rude about it and said she would give me a survey to fill out I am usually a understanding person because I have worked in food service before but she was just rude don’t go there if you are looking for good service

At 7:57 on 7/23 I placed a curbside pick up order which was supposed to be ready at 8:25. It was not ready until 8:40 which is cool. When I got home and unpacked the order I had ordered the spicy chicken salad and saw that the salad was missing the two dressings and the tortilla strips that make the salad what it is and not just a prepackaged salad from a grocery store. I called the restaurant at 8:55 to see if I could come get the missing pieces of my meal (which was part of a 47.00 meal with tip). I was told they were out of the dressings. The restaurant had both my cell number and email and could have notified me with plenty of time between order and pick up that they did not have the ingredients to properly fill my order. Also when I called the carry out person stated “oh sorry, I forgot to tell you we were out”. If you are charging 15 dollars for a specialty salad you should hVe the ingredients or give the buyer an option to cancel the order or order something else. I had to leave the house to go buy dressing and have a completely different meal than I purchased. Bad business.

I ordered at 6:21 PM over the phone and they told me it would be ready by 6:51 PM. It is now 7:15 PM and no food. I asked one of their associates to check on it for me at 6:54 PM and he has not come back to talk to me yet. They have, however, brought to other cars food And walk back in where leave me glancing my direction. This is the second time there to go Service is hideous. They brought the food out at 7:17 PM. A different employee brought it out. It even felt cold because it had been sitting for a while. So I’m having them remake it. I hope that’s not a mistake.

I don't usually leave 1 star reviews but the service this time was just non existent. Good food, but server named Katherine was non-existent the whole time and left us waiting 11 monutes and 53 seconds for to-go sweet teas and we had to wait 6 minutes to even get greeted. Terrible service, please hire better servers.

I ordered a Caesar salad as a side they had tons of salad dressing on the salad. I couldn’t eat it. They charged me for it the first time, even though I ordered it as a one of the sides with the meal when I pointed out to the waitress, they said they would fix it. They brought me another salad with the salad dressing on the side but then when we checked out, they charge me for two Even though it was their fault, their mistake so I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone ever

We are elderly and wanted a quiet place in the restaurant so we could visit with our friends. First people seated next to us were a family of five with three small children. We have grandchildren. We understand. Second seating next to us was a family birthday celebration with older teenagers..same. My wife ordered the Tuesday $12 pork chop when server returned and said they were out of pork chop. So my wife ordered the smothered chicken thinking it was a $12 item who server did not explain it wasnt a $12 item until we got the check. I ordered the country fried steak with substitute fries instead of mashed potatoes and asked about a dinner salad which the server said was included as a side with the meal. So…now the check came with all the additional charges for up price on the smothered chicken, additional charge for the salad. And the country fried steak was grisly…not good at all. Server Kassie was not passionate at all about our questions, as matter of fact quite direct in that’s the menu and not apologetic about our mis understanding of what she previously explained. So, not good service, not so good food and quiet request for a table was absolutely ignored. Not gonna be back soon.

So I absolutely love aspen creek. The salmon is my go to. My husband and daughter get steaks I always get salmon with rice and green beans. Oh my gosh the beans green are so delicious. I work evenings 15 hrs a day- I usually order from here at least once a week. I last night I ordered rice pull off. It came to $7.44. I pad with a $20. The cashier says I may not have the exact change amount is that ok? I thought ok he’s gonna end up owing me a couple cents a nickel at the most. Nope. He gave me $12 back. He kept .56. Wait what? Shouldn’t you give me a whole dollar back instead of making me have to pay the price for you not having any lose change? I was on lunch break and didn’t make a stink about it as I was tired too. But it erks me even now thinking of it. I live paycheck to paycheck and am literally scraping by the week of payday. This company makes hella money to have to make their customers eat the cost. Imagine they keep .56 from every cash paying customer . That money adds up. As I said I do order often and I do intend to gain my money back ordering the same thing and only having $7.00 and ask them is that ok. The same guy usually works the register so I’m counting on him remembering. So come back for an update. I’ll let you know how it turns out and I may change the one star if they give me my hard earned money back. Yall prolly thinking it’s only .56. Well for you all thinking that my pockets ain’t deep like urs and you should thank the good Lord you were not chosen to be poor where .56 cents may not seem much to you, but to someone like myself it truly does. Esp large restaurant doing this is upsetting. Let’s see if you do better aspen creek.
