Discovered some time ago on a motorcycle tour, we returned during our vacation in Liguria. Several times. Not only because it was amazing, but also for its authenticity: traditional dishes, without fusion or neo-fusion frills. Well-executed and brought to the table with a smile, professionalism, and kindness. When you leave with a smile, you can't ask for more.

Trust me on this one ( forgot to take photos cuz i was hungry ) 1. Seafood, excellent, no comment 10/10 2. Pizza kind of medium 3. Sotto filetto (AKA sirlion) is just a pork muscle ( random one i guess ). It had the same in common as the sirlion as i have with a pornstar. So avoid at all cost. 4. Serving was ok ( the food came sepparate, not all at once and we kinda waited for everything ), arhmosphere is ok, people are great ( but please hire someone who knows english, spanish, french so i'm not obliged to learn the 5th language for Italy ;)) ) 5. 4/5 is a decent score so peace out.

Decent restaurant facing the port of Loano, fish specialties, excellent service and normal prices

A tourist spot on the Loano harbor. The harborside terrace is nice, but the inside dining room is a bit less so. It was a bit too loud; it was packed, and it was a bit hard to converse with the people sitting with us. But other than that, the fried fish and the grilled fish were excellent. Unfortunately, the desserts were sold out, but that's okay... the dishes were a bit bland... as were the appetizers. But for an excellent fried fish dish, it's worth returning.

A waterfront restaurant away from the hustle and bustle of Loano, with a terrace overlooking the marina. The simple food is good, fresh, well-presented, and plentiful. The staff are efficient, fast, and courteous. Prices are reasonable for the service. The quality/price ratio is average considering the season.

We came here for dinner with my boyfriend, and I have to say we had very high expectations for the quality of the fish, given its location on the seafront and facing the harbor. Unfortunately, however, we were disappointed. As an appetizer, the carpaccio was really good, but the mussel soup was practically inedible: the mussels were tough and had an unpleasant flavor. The pasta at the restaurant, overall, wasn't bad, but it was clear that some ingredients—like the shrimp—were frozen, and the clams weren't good quality either. The thing that struck me most, however, was the presence of bugs wandering around the tables: definitely unpleasant while eating. (I've attached a photo; all those little black dots you see were just a few of all the bugs there were.) The service was quite good, apart from the confusion with questions and ordering dishes. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place: the quality-price ratio isn't great, and considering the area, you can find much better.

Let's start at the end: the owner warned us that many waiters had turned up shortly before service and were therefore having serious difficulties with the dinner. All right, I understand everything, I understand that running a restaurant is sometimes complicated, especially during the summer... but there are alternatives to completely abandoning a table for more than 40 minutes before taking their order, such as informing customers of the difficulties experienced due to the lack of staff and then giving them the option to stay or leave. Among other things, the waiters were completely inattentive—and now I understand why—and during the fried calamari, they were asked to bring us wine, which promptly arrived at the table along with dessert... wine requested over and over again until we were exhausted! At this point, perhaps it would have been better not to bring him... I don't tend to write scathing reviews because I balance the evening and I also tend to be accommodating to the establishments because I understand the challenges of the job, having worked in this industry myself for years... but if I'd worked like this even for one day, they'd have fired me after half a service! The deliciousness of a pasta dish or a mixed fried fish platter is completely overshadowed if the diner is treated with little respect and care in the dining room! A restaurant offers more than just the food it serves, but also the experience of the environment in which it's served and by whom it's served... So, if you have to attract customers when you're unable to manage them, at least give them the choice of whether or not to let them ruin their evening!

The place is beautiful, no complaints there. It overlooks the harbor and offers outdoor dining. However, the owners should remember that the people who come here for dinner are on vacation and have a relaxed lifestyle. Consequently, we found the cold welcome, rushed ordering, and so-so service unpleasant. Dinner for two... we weren't able to dine together because the courses weren't coordinated. The menu isn't very extensive, but perhaps this place focuses more on pizza than more refined dishes. We chose seafood carpaccio, and the menu listed tuna or swordfish in brackets. When asked if swordfish was available, the answer was "it depends on what's available." Well, followed by sesame-flavored tuna and fried mixed seafood with fries... nothing special. We skipped dessert because the choice was truly overwhelming. With a glass of wine and water plus two coffees, we paid 87 euros...I'd say too much for what we ate on paper tablecloths and for the service...but as I said...we'll move on.

I'm giving one star because 0 isn't possible. Not a terrible experience, more so. Yesterday, August 13th, a friend of mine and I booked a table for two. We had to call the waiter three times to order while people who sat down after us were already eating. We ordered one appetizer for two and two main courses with a grilled side dish. The appetizer arrived after I don't know how long... a poor plate with practically nothing on it, with a fork you couldn't even use to pick up anything to put on your plate. 45 minutes passed and there wasn't even a second course. We decided to leave, at which point only the vegetables arrived... A plate of boiled vegetables... not grilled as ordered. We got up, paid only for the drinks and the appetizer, and left... Never again. Highly not recommended. Frighteningly disorganized.
