We were in the area on vacation and came here on our first night in and loved it so much we came back on our last night here! My husband loved the margaritas and I loved the mocktails! We got the fajitas and the Santa Fe Eggrolls, and the nachos and loved it all. Definitely recommend it whether your local or on vacation

Best Queso I’ve ever had! Mike was our server and he was so helpful and friendly from start to finish. Gorgeous bay views. Great patio with a breeze and friendly smiles all around. Quesadilla was AMAZING!!!

This place is an absolute hit every time we go down to mad beach we have to stop! The Birria and the queso dip are on point .we always get great service and the patio is awesome too! A giant margarita yes please and BOGO margs too!! Please get some more hot sauces besides Cholula and Tabasco!

Thus one goes out to Sean the sever! We stopped in while on vacation. We weren't sure where togo but Mexican food sounded really good. This popped up on Google and we decided to give it a try. I have to say it amazing. The views of the water, the outdoor bar, the interior restaurant was super clean. I could say enough about the place. Then the service we had. Sean was great! Gave us to time to look over the menu (because we were from out of town) took care of us the entire time. The meals were great portions and full of flavor. Hats off ro the chef and his cooks, the food was on point. We will definitely be back!

What a wonderful place! Staff is amazing (especially Jessica!)! They have the best Birria Tacos with Consome (plus more on the menu)!!!!! Awesome drinks specials too! So glad they are open after Hurricanes Helene and Milton!

The Mad Beach Cantina is a place worth visiting if you’re in Madeira Beach, Florida. The outside of the building is definitely eye-catching, especially at night. There are both stairs and an elevator to reach the restaurant. The inside décor was fairly simple, although I liked the light shades made out of straw hats. The view overlooking the Madeira Bay Marina is beautiful. Our server Mike was personable, knowledgeable, and attentive – just the right balance for a server. While the food was enjoyable and nicely portioned, it didn’t quite rise to a memorable, made-from-scratch experience—more of a solid meal than a culinary highlight. One small limitation worth noting is that there’s no mixing option between beef and chicken enchiladas: it’s all one or the other. The BOGO margaritas (ask for details before ordering) rounded out a nice dining experience and complemented the meal well.

The service makes this place really special! It was our first time here, and we came because of the beautiful upstairs patio and the water view. What blew us away was the bartender's service and skills! (The other servers were great too!) He made me the best sangria I've ever had. And the margarita was well made too :) If we weren't so tired from traveling we would have stayed longer. The corn appetizer was super tasty, and my shrimp quesedilla came with a boatload of rice and beans! Will definitely return next time I'm in st pete <3 For credit we came 1/22 Rockstar crew! :)

Just has a Sunday evening dinner at this fresh and friendly Cantina. The food was fresh, tasty and the service was heart warming. A big thank you to Emily for being our server for the night.

Very cool place. Carne asada tacos for good. The Birria chimichanga was good the cinnamon made it taste like you were eating meat donut. It was good. The guacamole is on point. The sweet tea is instant and gross.

You absolutely must try the Birra Chimichanga. Out of this world’s delicious. Our server Mehdi was so friendly, attentive, and made us feel relaxed. If you are at Madeira Beach, go to Mad Beach Cantina. You will not be disappointed.

We had dinner here on vacation and was pleasantly surprised! Location is on a marina next to an inlet in Madeira beach….the restaurant is on the top floor of the building looking out over the marina. Nice views with indoor and outdoor seating. Staff is very pleasant and attentive and always there if needed. We had the taco, chickens and beef, and the Cantina enchiladas with chicken verde and beans and rice. All the entrees were very well prepared, large servings, and very well flavored!! One of our best meals so far on vacation!! Also don’t pass on the 2 for $10 margaritas!! Only real gripe would be having to pay for chips and salsa at this price point…not expensive but not usual!! Highly recommend!!

Had the birria empanadas with the consommé dipping sauce that were very good. Also tried the steak fajitas- great flavor too. Excellent service. Recommend!

First time here, just passing through after the beach. I highly recommend it. The food is light & fresh, even my sons's fries were delicious. Excellent view & Ava provided excellent service.

This is a very cute restaurant to visit. There is some indoor seating, but if you end up coming when it's busy, there will be a wait. Outside seating is very scenic with views of the beaches as well as the marina. We sat at the outside bar looking out to the marina. The bar tender greeted us right away to take our drink orders and give us menus since we were eating. Drinks are fresh and made quickly. Once we ordered, it seemed like our food was brought out immediately. They were slow at the time so we got lucky to get in quickly. Overall we enjoyed our time and loved the views while having dinner. They do serve drinks to go with lids that are sealed, which we found very nice! We will be back in the future and recommend checking this place out for date night or a family night.

Last night we had a much needed Taco Date Night. Jared took amazing care of us, and Bret made the BEST margaritas I have had in a very long time! Absolutely magical! And the view off the deck was perfect. I am already looking forward to our next Taco Date Night out at Mad Beach Cantina!!

Thee mocktails were out of this world!!! Benny really nailed it when he suggested the birria quesadilla over what I was going to order. Absolutely mouthwatering! We will be regulars at this point! Bravo!

This is the best Mexican food in Florida. Everything is made fresh from scratch. The service is top notch. I can't say enought good things about this place.

If Mad Beach Cantina had a Hall of Fame, Brett would have his name engraved on a Santa mug. He matched our vibe so perfectly that even the Christmas lights started to blush. We walked in with goofy energy wearing Christmas onesies and a dash of chaos, and Brett instantly tuned into our vibe. He knew when to wink, when to pour, and when to slide a garnish across the bar like a tiny festive high-five. Brett didn’t just serve drinks; he curated an experience. He had the kind of charisma that could turn a crowded cantina into a winter carnival, complete with holiday sparkle and a pep in our step. He mixed cocktails that felt like Christmas carols. His jokes were as warm as a cocoa marshmallow, and even the grinch would’ve cracked a smile. If your squad’s vibe needs a lift, bring it to Mad Beach Cantina and tell Brett to bring the sleigh.

First time at restaurant. Fantastic view of inner harbor and the Gulf looking the other way. We each had a Wet burrito Very tasty. Service was quick. Waiter made great suggestions when asked. We will go again.

Mehdi was outstanding waiter. Service was prompt and pleasant. Explained menu items very well, Including the Patron tree by showing us the presentation. He went the extra mile by calling the restaurant together to sing happy birthday to someone in our party. Overall he did a tremendous job serving our table.

Benny absolutely crushed it! Super friendly, great energy, and insanely attentive. He made us feel welcome the moment we sat down and never missed a beat. One of the best servers we’ve had anywhere—hands down.

I visited this restaurant on Christmas Day and I've been meaning to leave a review since. The food was BY FAR the best I've had at a restaurant in a long time!! Service was great! We sat outside and the atmosphere was perfect! This place made our Christmas this year, as the rest of the family had their own plans. It was sooo good and we'll definitely be back soon!!!

We were there for Christmas vacation and on Christmas Eve night we went to the Mad Beach Cantina. Everything was amazing if I could offer more stars I definitely would. Ryan with our server. He went above and beyond was super friendly & our little chatterbox son really enjoyed talking to him. He was so sweet and patient and cool all at the same time with Chase. After we settled up with Ryan We realized we forgot to do our Christmas Eve dinner family photo, another server Corey happen to be walking by and we asked if he wouldn’t mind taking a photo and Obviously, he did not mind. He didn’t rush and he didn’t just take one or two he took like six and he even had us changing positions and saying things super fun & amazing attitude. Right as we were finishing up the photo session, Ryan came back and we managed to get a picture with both of them before we left. If you’re questioning to come; just come. Came in for a chill New Year’s evening; It was absolutely slammed, but was helped right away. Gotta watch the sunset. I sat at the bar. Jared was the bartender who served me as well and was AMAZING! Keeping up with the bar orders making sure to check on everyone while also making every drink for the entire restaurant. All with a smile and wonderful service might I add. I am a manager myself in the service industry and would be proud to call him my worker/ bartender! Need more good positive people especially in the service industry.

11/11/25-I am staying in town for the weekend from Orlando, Fl. I am staying with my, mom, sister, and daughter for our annual girls trip. We found your spot on Google. So glad we came in! Everything thing was amazing! We had the best Service, our server was Mehdi, he made our experience such a pleasant, and wonderful one! Lunch for 3. Loved it. Service was great, food was tasty. We had the trio, gringo tacos and birria. We had the tree leches for dessert and it was the best tres leches I’ve ever had.

Amazing service & truly caring staff! I had a wonderful experience at Mad Beach Cantina in Madeira Beach, and I have to give a huge shoutout to Adrian, the manager, and Mahdi, our server. They were both absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I don’t eat spicy food, and their guacamole is usually pre-made every morning with spice. Without hesitation, they were kind enough to make a fresh guacamole from scratch just for me, exactly how I needed it. That level of care and attention is rare and so appreciated. The service was outstanding, friendly, and genuinely thoughtful. You can tell they truly care about their customers, not just about serving food. Because of Adrian and Mahdi, this wasn’t just a meal—it was a great experience. We just had a family meal at Mad Beach Cantina and it was a great experience. Our waitress, Ava, was incredibly friendly and attentive. She helped us move into the restaurant once we got cold outside which we were grateful for. My two daughters even mentioned her kindness during our meal. The food was phenomenal! Great portion sizes and delicious. The staff overall was also so great. We had a fun interaction with Cory that made us laugh so hard but just showed how great of an atmosphere Mad Beach Cantina is. As my daughters said when we left, 10/10 would recommend.

Third floor restaurant does not meet handicapped specifications. Sidewall, no grab bar to it, toilet handle wrong side.Trash can and in way of wheelchair. I need a good ADA lawyer. Sink cabinet nor mirror meet federal handicapped guidelines.

The parking lot is a little odd shaped and the spots are a bit narrow for a big vehicle. The restaurant is on the third floor. There are stairs and an elevator. We were greeted right away and seated. It was busy at 6pm on a Sunday. Morena T was our server and she was excellent 👍. The menu is big enough to satisfy most people. The margaritas were very good (not too sweet or sour). There is indoor and outdoor seating and a bar outside. At times it was a bit loud as there are few soft surfaces to absorb sounds. Pricing is fair.

Our waitress Adriana was lovely and very helpful. Service attentive and food came out quickly plus all tasty. Soup and salad starters followed by quesedillas and fajitas of different types. No wine by the bottle though and my preferred wine not available so had to settle for tiny plastic glasses of house wine which wasn't great. Food good - wine not so and for me they go hand in hand hence the rating..

Grouper tacos were very good and trio appetizer with salsa/guacamole/queso. Bogo margaritas were good! Blackberry a must try. Staff super friendly and the view when sitting outside was very nice great atmosphere. I will definitely go back! Small menu selection the focus is tacos, you do not get free chips and salsa just an fyi :) taco meals come with chips and salsa and costs extra for rice and beans which was very good.

Overall, this is a decent restaurant, just don’t go if you’re in any kind of a hurry. Also, if you’re interested in the BOGO margs, ask first, because they were not explained until after we had other margs. The full priced margs were great! We were not disappointed by them. This is 100% a Mexican restaurant. The best thing on their menu was the birria tacos and the egg roll looking things. Past that, the food was just food. The quesadilla sucked, the cheese wasn’t even fully melted. The nachos were very good. The fajitas were decent. Our server was great. He was funny but Very busy. He seemed to be the only person in the actual inside working.

A little weird. It was slow season when trying this place. Upon entering the staff was hanging out at one of the tables playing on their phones and talking. We were seated fairly quickly in a booth. Right off, the tables are too big for the booths, too low and too wide for the space available. Table was grimy and had to be cleaned again. Waiter taking order came over from couple of booths away (were 3 staff were playing on their phones) to take our drink order. Waiter was nice but was wearing a uniform that was a little weird because it was obviously a little small for him. Waiter brought our drinks failry quickly and then proceeded to sit 2 booths away and play on his phone while talking to coworkers. Did not return to table to get food order for about 8-10 minutes when a look up would have made it obvious we were ready to order. Food was "meh" and was pretty expensive for what it was. Suggestions for management: do not allow staff to hang out in main dining area, it looks bad. Enforce a minimum uniform standard for waitstaff (hairy leggs right next to table is gross), if you charge an additional 3% fee for service I disclose it before you add it to the check, do something "extra" with the food to make it better (dress it up, make portions a little bigger .. something - its too expensive for what it is, even for tourist area), play upbeat music. Doubtful we will be back but hope they up their game.

Ugh! Soooooo disappointed tonight! I have been here before several months ago on a Sunday afternoon and it was great! Tonight, we arrived before 6pm on a Monday and there were approximately 7 tables and a few people at the bar. It was not busy. After waiting approximately 6 minutes to be greeted at our table by a very friendly server (Cory), another male server who ended up being one of the bartenders…threw a bit of a tantrum the other server approached us. It was a nice evening and we really weren’t in a hurry, but it took another 6 minutes to get a tea, Pepsi, and water. We were asked if we were ready to order and I said we would be after they brought the wine that we also ordered. While the female bartender was pleasant, she was clueless and through the dinner only cleared dishes when it was suggested to her. The appetizer took a long time to come out, but it was hot. Then, the food took at least 20 minutes…for assembled tacos and a quesadilla… which is the only thing they actually had to cook. Apparently, you can get corn tortillas that are soft or hard… Be aware of that because we did not notice that on the menu because most places with Mexican food give you hard shell when you order corn. When the food finally came out and we realized the issue, I asked the manager if these were actually corn tortillas and he explained the situation. I said OK and he offered to remake them with hardshell. I said yes thank you we would appreciate it. Another 15+ minutes went by as the rest of the table was finishing their food. Ro was the manager who was trying to assist and he agreed it was uncommon for the menu to be that way when I asked how long it was going to take to get these we made tacos that literally only had meat and cheese in them!? Again, not even cooking anything. It likely took 30 seconds to assemble the 4 tacos! He then proceeded to tell me there was a more senior manager in the back who said we would basically just have to wait behind all of the other people now that they were busy. I made a point about how long the original ticket time took and how ridiculous it was to make a customer wait that long when the rest of their party had already finished their food. I say this because it was not an unreasonable expectation of how we ordered the food and he agreed. As it turns out, he went back there and made them himself… which is a very common managerial thing to do. Through this time, our server/bartender never came to check on us. We did decide to order churros for dessert which as the restaurant emptied out, still took approximately 15 minutes. This server came over and seem to not really have any idea of what her transpired With the tacos. At this point the remade tacos that have been put in the system showed up. We had already ordered dessert and were surprised the food had finally come out after other tacos came, dishes were removed on the table, and we ordered dessert. That’s how long we would’ve had to wait if Ro did not make the tacos. After our server confirmed these additional tacos were not going to go on our bill, she asked if there was anything else we needed. I said… Yes the churros we ordered… All I can say is OMFG! I’ve worked in this industry… It’s genuine work and it can be difficult at times, but it doesn’t have to be this hard! They have quality food, but hopefully they can get their service issues under control. By the way, I tipped the first guy Cory who tried to take our table and probably would’ve made sure everything was great $20 even though he didn’t wait on us (he actually went back to make sure we got our churros). The male bartender who pitched a fit in the beginning, never made it back to our table the whole time we were here. 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️ in summary, it took almost 2 hours to get an appetizer of eggrolls, three orders of tacos, a quesadilla, and two orders of churros for 3 people. 🫤

We have tried this spot a couple times. In my opinion they rely on being near the beach and not having much competition so the food is extremely basic, and under seasoned. I was unable to tell if anything is made from scratch or its reheated precooked meals. They have a great outdoor patio though and play fun music so thats a positive. We will likely visit again but stick to the bar rather than food from now on.

Atmosphere great good music but thats not why you go to the olace. Nothing special ive had better food and definitely not a good experience for a vacation. If i wasnt on vacation and i knew about this place as a local it wouldnt be a place id walk into again.
