Big establishment.. Clean and open spaced. Can accommodate large groups with private areas. TV's everywhere.. Food is simple and good. Don't expect to have a conversation in bar and game area..Very Loud!!! Had a great time for 1st time visiting..

Had fish & Chips, loved the batter. Fries really crispy. But the place is loud for us old folks. Great for young families. I got my meal free for Veterans day. Will be back with ear plugs.

Loved the food, although some of it was a little spicy for me. It was a little pricy but it was well worth the fun! I will be returning later on even if it is just to play games in the arcade area.

I'm from out of town & my family and I had a great time! We would definitely come back for our waitress Amber & the woman working in the ticket spot. Unfortunately, we didn't get her name but she was amazing!

Catered buffet was well cooked and presented... Dishes never went cold or empty. Gaming room was clean and bright and electric with excitement. Bar service was good... Speedy and well made drinks.

So much fun! Better than knuckleheads in the dells, and definitely cooler than taking your kids to Chucky Cheese. Great food! The shrimp dip is a must order, drinks were delicious, even the kids slushes! The game choices are amazing, and unless you're like my fiance and myself and crack out on coin dozer you get a lot of game play(and tickets) for your money!

I seldom give an all star rating but it was easy to do here. The first person we talked to at the register when we first walked in was so nice and friendly that my wife at first thought he might be the owner. We took our daughter there for her 11th birthday and he made sure to interact with her and make her feel special. Our waiter was even more awesome, if possible, with her as well as all of us. We were so impressed that I tipped more than the suggested tip price. Good service goes a long way with me and this was easily some of the best customer service I've come across in a long time...maybe ever. The food was very good, as well as the adult beverages, albeit a little on the spendy side. The arcade is awesome and the bar and restaurant area have enough TVs that if you get tired of walking the arcade with your kids, its pretty easy to find a game of some sorts to watch while you take a rest. Loved it all around, as did the whole family but the customer service was outstanding. Job very well done!

I usually come and in head straight to the machine reloader, and the staff recognizes this. I'm not one for a ton of interaction, so the fact that the staff acknowledge my presence but aren't too pushy about going to the counter is phenomenal. I'll have to try the food at some point, but I'm sure it's as good as the variety of games! PS, never let a rhythm game player near the piano keys, I slaughtered the high score of 71.

Went to a birthday party here and had a great time. Good mix of old carnival games and new technology games and sports games. Food was all decent, staff was mostly friendly, place was pretty clean. Would go back.

Leo is my favorite employee. He always comes to save the day when the machine I play breaks. He deserves a raise honestly cause he is so kind!

Brought my son here on Sunday and we were greeted by Freddy who really was the best there is. Very friendly and made sure we left with smiles on our faces. Even the man (sorry didn’t get his name) who was on the mic during halftime was super nice. Will be definitely be coming back another time

My wife and I go here for date nights. I am 61 and enjoy the games, good, and environment. Harpoon Lagoon is our favorite game there. Freddy at the front desk always makes us feel welcomed and among friends.

If you don’t keep and promote Freddy I’m not coming back. He is the most honest and happy to work person I’ve ever met. Will come to any place he works. Found the $100 we lost and no question returned to us. Integrity only. Amazing human!

My family goes all the time! Games are amazing to play and they all work! The workers are very nice! Food is great every time. What made me write a review was that I brought my family and parents on easter Sunday at 2pm. I did not plain on coming on easter but it rained and I wanted my parents to try the new top gun game they have. We got their and everyone was super nice! They had an easter egg hunt and my son got lots of candy! In lots of the eggs they gave out free food. We got a free meal and a free appetizer. I can't thank all the workers enough for such a fun time. Thank you. It's definitely a must go place if you have not been their yet.

This Dave and Buster’s location has plenty of fun games to play. Everything works properly and it’s easy to get your old cards reloaded with the credit stations throughout the arcade. My suggestion is to use the credit stations rather than use the front desk to purchase new cards or reload old ones. My dad got charged extra when he recharged his card. As fun as the games were, a lot of them can have steep skill curves. Practice makes perfect. Also, the noise levels can get to you after a while. Maybe I’ll get some food here another time but for me, the games were the main attraction. And they did not disappoint.

I’ve been to many D & B and this one is my favorite always clean and the staff there is amazing. A good selection of beer on tap and cocktail menu. A ton of arcade games and their prize room is very good.

Friendly staff and good parking. Lots of games spread out. Food was good. Not the best value arcade/restaurant but still a fun place to enjoy a few games.

Our kids absolutely love this place. The appetizers are great and it’s a fun environment. Happy we have one in madison now. The prizes could be better but the kids don’t seem to care.

Excellent atmosphere and selection of games. Very clean. Service is ok, but could be better. I didn’t have food, but my friend Chris Carlton (also a local guide) said it “wasn’t anything to write home about”.

Food was surprisingly good for an arcade restaurant. It’s a fun place to visit, but way too loud inside. It was hard to enjoy with our family visiting, but all good otherwise.

My partner and I went to play games (we didn't get food), and had a good time. However, many of the machines weren't working properly. For example, we played Mario Olympics, but one of the sides hardly worked - I had to pound on the buttons. We also LOVE Dance Dance Revolution, but they don't have it. The employees were very sweet and greeted us when we came in and said bye when we left. Will return.

It was our first time at Dave and Busters. To be completely honest, I had very low expectations for the food. I was pleasantly surprised. The fries were excellent. The smash burger was also very good. Our poor waitress seemed to be new though and seemed to be running the place by herself until 4pm. Very friendly though. We would certainly return.

I don't usually post bad reviews, but today I am compelled to. We went to D&B be cause it was convenient to another stop, and because I had a coupon from the Bucky Book. Those were the only two saving graces of the meal. While we did not expect a fine dining experience, we got much less than that. We were seated right away. My better half ordered a raspberry ice tea and I a Diet Coke. My drink was fine, but hers tasted nothing like raspberry ice tea. When we mentioned it to our server, I will not be mentioning his name, he showed us the bottle of syrup from which he added a flavoring to regular ice tea. Regardless, it still did not taste like raspberry ice tea. He did offer to replave tea with a diet coke. He took our order, one crispy chicken sandwich (no lettuce) and one smashburger with cheese and bacon. About 20 minutes later, our meals arrived. Mine was fine but my wife's was a spicy chicken instead of a crispy chicken. She can't do spicey. The server admitted putting in an order for the wrong sandwich, and re-ordered the correct one. So I was almost finished with my meal by the time her meal arrived. It still wasn't correct because it was covered in Shredded lettuce, which she removed. When she finished, we were presented with an incorrect bill. It still had the former sandwich and the ice tea on it. When I pointed that out, server said he would correct it. I gave him my debit card, but never did see a corrected bill so I have no idea if we paid the correct amount or not. BTW, there was never any offer to comp or partially comp my wife's meal, or any visit by someone who looked like a manager, altho we saw someone who seemed to be in charge talking to staff. I'm willing to write off the wrong sandwich to the noisy atmosphere in there, but the server never used a pad of any sort in taking our order. I'm wondering how often miss-orders happen. I seldom tip less than 20% these days because I have a great appreciation for wait staff, but today our server got about 10%. BTW, food was ok.

New Dave and Busters opened In Madison today. Portion size on the Chicken Tortilla soup was a little small, but the Bowl size is only $1 extra, so I'll do that next time; flavor was very good. Mac and Cheese and Short Rib Stacker also had very good flavor; could have used a little more sauce since it was a little dry. Picture doesn't show that the stack was very high with a huge portion of tater tots. Nice ambiance in the regular restaurant area, sound level in the sports bar section was a little loud for me.

Lots of broken games, it ate up our credits and staff was pretty sure people were intentionally breaking games. The staff was unavailable or completely absent when we needed them for questions or help. The baby changing station was completely unusable, it looked as if someone tried using it as a seat. This left my husband forced to hold the table up with his knee. My family still had a fun time, that's why I am giving a three. However it's very disappointing to see that this establishment has really gone down hill since opening what, two years ago?

The experience would have been far improved if the staff had better service-orientated attitudes. Bartenders had poor service and were downright surly. Drinks were good, but I felt like an obligation to the bartender, who appeared not happy to work. Multiple misfunctions occurred on gaming machines and the front desk employees was not overly helpful. When the game tech did arrive to help (he was tied up in another area through no fault of his own), he was good and friendly. The employee running the prize section was also friendly. Those two individuals were the redeeming factors of the staff.

The food was way overpriced and not good. The first set of fries that came out tasted cold and hard. The server even tried one and was not impressed. My son's pretzel Dogs came way overcooked. I had Philly Sliders. They came cold with the buns being hard. I asked for a replacement with reg burger sliders. Pretty sure they weren't happy I complained, considering the way they came out. Service is extremely slow. I have been sitting here for 30 min trying to get a refill on my water. I'm sure this will cost me a lot of money for terrible food.

Update 2024: after my review they changed the baseball machine rules; made it so a strike or a foul is counted as 1 out. Didn’t really appreciate that. Went just for gameplay, the staff was awesome and patient while I reviewed their deals. I spent around $60+ for Me +1 person. Only thing I didn’t really find great was the ticket payout on most games is very low for the credits spent to play. There’s very few machines that will guarantee a bigger payout on tickets. I cashed out with some nice gifts from the gift shop though there isn’t a crazy selection for adult (very big selection of gifts for younger ages so I recommend for families), so I’d say I got a decent value for my money.

We were there for a total of 2.5 hours. 2 of those hours were waiting. The other 30 mins was us eating. We waited forever for the waiter (not his fault) they were super short staffed. Then we waited for the bartender (too busy doing 10 jobs because they're short staffed) we got our appetizer after 30 mins, it was ok...it LOOKED amazing, but was too overpowering from the Pineapple/mango. It said it was spicy and it wasn't even "spicy" like black pepper. The menu super sucked because it was VERY limited (we went there when they first opened and had a great amount of options compared to now) after the appetizer, it was just a fight to be able to even see my server (again, he was amazing, just short staffed). It just wasn't pleasant. I'm super disappointed.

Clean the beer lines, yo. There were a lot of employees around on their phones, not really paying attention to the customers at the bar. Finally, they came and got our drink order and both beers we got tasted gnarly from dirty beer lines.

Me & my daughter came in to eat and play games. We waited almost 20 minutes before we were helped and the people that were seated after us were helped immediately. By the time we had our food order placed the other people were getting their food. Our drinks & appetizer came quickly and our meals came within a decent amount of time. I had ordered truffle fries but received regular. I asked the waiter about it and he said he’d go get some. He never came back with any. He never even came to check how our food was. We were finished eating and probably waited another 15-20 minutes before he showed up to ask if we needed anything else. By that time I was ready for the check. And guess what was on it- the truffle fries. So I had to wait for him to come back so it could be addressed. Then we waited another 15 minutes or so for that to be fixed. Not a great experience as far as the eating portion. The game room had plenty of things for us to stay interested. I might go back to play games but I won’t be back to eat.

Truly heartbreaking experience, my family and I drove up from illinois to visit. How we were treated I would never recommend to anyone to spend ur money to be treated in such a way. It was 4pm when we arrived and the bartender was so rude from the start, I had to ask a few times to get his attention to try and get a game card. When he did walk over I asked about the cards and he picked a board up and slammed it down in front of me and the others with me. Mind you I had my autistic child with me and this is why we came at the time we did. It wasn’t busy only one other family playing. We got our card $55 dollars just to start. I brushed off the guys attitude and we started playing games. We became thirst and went to grab some sodas at the bar and no employee could be found to order a beverage or food. Finally when the same bartender did come back he ignored us while on his phone. Literally walked to the end of the bar and back playing on his phone purposely avoiding us. We had walked all over the building trying to find someone to help us. My boyfriend even yelled into the kitchen area trying to get help. Just completely unprofessional and rude. Finally after asking this bartender a couple times to be helped he decided to put his phone down. He made the kiddy cocktail (sprite and grenadine) we asked for and looked at me and said let me grab you cherries played with his mustache (no gloves and didn’t wash his hands) walked down to the end of the bar and grabbed two cherries with his hand that just touched his mustache and held the glass out and dropped the cherries in while looking right at me. We paid for the drink and didn’t even drink it. When we asked about possibly talking to a manager or any kind of management the bartender said oh well people will come in at 5 but no real managers. We tried to go back to playing games but we just didn’t feel right giving anymore of our money to a place that treats guests like this. When I went to leave I walked up to the bartender in tears telling him politely I pray he never treats another family this way. We did nothing to deserve this treatment and our special day first time taking my family and that is how it went. We had planned on playing games, and having dinner. We were so excited and just because he didn’t want to be at work he ruined our experience.

Service was incredibly slow. Saw our waitress 3 times in a span of 2 hours. Cook was doing something right though, great food!

Food is gross and cheap looking, but you wouldn't be able to tell by the prices they charge. Everything on my nacho's was "pale" like the life was sucked out of it. I subbed out chicken for steak and it looked like "Quik Steak". That cheap pkg you see at the grocery freezer section. Just 10/10 would NOT recommend eating anything there.

woman with glasses who’s bartending is rude as hell. I walked up to ask her a question and she completely ignored me. So i spoke up again to see if she didn’t hear me the first time because of the loud music and she snapped on me and goes “HOLD ON” like excuse me lady ? Won’t be coming here again.

The food was cold had to wait more then a half hour to order did not get appetizer till all the food came out the waiter never came back to ask how everything was and it was almost an hour to get the food the worst service ever for the price .... however the games were ok but half of them did not work ... took my kid for his birthday did not have the best day ever..... will not go back

I changed my 5 star rating to one star because of the worker I encountered tonight. I then asked the manager and said how the worker was rude and he didn’t even acknowledge me saying anything about the worker. I see why y’all are empty now. I will not be back after this. Customer service is definitely not your priority. Watching Monday night football was.

Was instantly greeted at the door, the man was very nice and gave us ducks. We sat at a booth in the bar. 15 min went by and no one came to us. Kept getting looked at by the bartender and server in that area. Sat with my 10 yr old for 15 min until I went to ask the host if we could move to the dining room because clearly we’re not being helped. Then he said someone would be over. Clearly neither the bartender or the bar server wanted to help us. They said they didn’t see us but I looked at both of the workers multiple times. Being in the service industry for 20+ years and working at a place just like this one I could tell it’s 330 they’re shift ends at 4 and no one wanted our table. We asked for plain sliders, and guess what?! They came out with everything on them. No check backs just “you ready for the bill” , that was all. My kid was excited to come here so we gave it a try. just shitty when you can’t get helped for 15 min, the food dosent come out corrcet, the drink my son ordered had no cheery or lime like the picture, just kinda a horrible experience. And it sucks

Service was horrible. Took 30 minutes after getting to our table to get our drinks and menus. Food was alright. Our waiter was clueless and oblivious to everything. After ordering our drinks he came back 15 minutes later and asked if we got our drinks when the table still had water only on it. After eating and paying went to the hard for another backwoods blueberry lemonade only to find out that the drink on the menu and the ingredient menu the bartender follows is completely different from each other. So first one I got didn’t have the strawberry moonshine in it like it should have. When paying almost $16 for a drink you would think the menu and the bartender instructions would match. If you order drinks from here order from the bar and pay attention to how they make it. Won’t be back.

After spending 400.00 in game cards for my granddaughters birthday. I was done with my games and told everyone I would be in the restaurant getting a drink until they were ready to eat. They were finishing up in the store using their game cards. I sat down and no one came to take my order. Then all of a sudden a girl with short blond hair came over and said ... if your not eating you need to leave. It's not fair for you to sit here and not order food. I explained that no one came to take my order and we were all going to eat as soon as they were done spending their game cards. She very loudly said you need to leave now. She was so rude to me. I was in shock. Never have I been treated like that ever. There was only 2 other tables occupied so it wasn't like they were crowded and needed my table.
