Siempre que visito Madrid mi primera parada es este Bar. Desayunos a muy buen precio, tostadas con revuelto, con jamón…. Todo buenísimo en un local clásico con mucho encanto. Muy recomendable.

Apenas llegamos a Madrid vinimos directo aquí porque es un sitio que nos gusta mucho. Pedimos el menú del día: milanesas de peceto con puré de patatas y criolla por solo 10 €. Todo muy rico, casero y con la misma calidad de siempre. ¡Un lugar al que siempre es un gusto volver!

Suitable for hungry people. The lomitos are fantastic. One is more than enough. If you want to share, 2, max 3 plates suffice. Atmosphere is traditional for Madrid. Small tables, cold beer, loud people having fun. Suitable for both food and drinks. You can have only drinks

Stopped in for drinks. Grabbed a table. Loved that they had a pitcher for water and glasses available. Ordered some wine and the bar and sat back at the table. It was crowded and lively. We played a game of cards and enjoyed our drinks.

Got the Daily plate - hamburger ternera with potatoes. It was damn good 👍 Nice atmosphere and all the staff are very kind. They had the option to deliver the burger in a plate without the bread and the vegetarian option too. Definitely coming back.

One of my favorite—if not my top!—bars in madrid, benteveo always hits at any time of day. Their breakfast menus are fantastic and I am a particular fan of their tortilla. The food at this bar is always fantastic. I love coming in for the menú del día, particularly on Fridays when they always have a milanesa. They also are cognizant of always having a veggie/vegan option. When you order a beer you often get a small tapa that is vegan (hummus or eggplant spread). The service is fantastic, the cañas are the right tiny size, the tapas are always tasty. What more can I say? I also love that Benteveo features local artists in their front window. Their dedication to the barrio and creating a community is really inspiring and—from my guiri perspective—is really what Madrid is all about.

Very good coffee and great price. Quite loud in the morning (but it's a Saturday, so maybe that's why). Coffee +croissant = €3.20, I think it's pretty ok. Very fast service, tables only inside but lots of floor to ceiling windows are open. Great for your morning coffee!

Why? - lunch made from fresh daily supplies - not over salted or over cooked - fantastic value - wines impress - wonderful and passionate service Note that I was in this bar several times in November, so my feedback is based on a repetitive experience. I am escuela vieja, very diverse background in eating and drinking. So I do know, what I am taking about)) RECOMMENDED.

Loved this place. Full of locals and full to the brim. Nothing fancy. Decor hadn’t been updated in years and looks totally cool for it. Great service, friendly. Felt like a gem.

Camareros muy rápidos menos mal porque íbamos a coger el AVE. Hasta las 13h tienen desayunos, tomamos unas tostas (enormes) de huevos revueltos con jamón y de huevo frito, el pan estaba muy rico. La próxima vez tomaremos el lomo que es su especialidad. La calle Santa Isabel es preciosa. Decoración del bar años 70, muy chula y muy abierto aunque no tiene terraza te da la sensación de estar en la calle.

Bar de especialidades argentinas 🇦🇷 con un ambiente de los bares de siempre en Lavapies. Destaca su lomito argentino 🥪🥩, un bocadillo icónico que consiste en un filete de lomo de ternera a la plancha, acompañado típicamente de jamón, queso, huevo frito, lechuga y tomate, todo servido en un pan suave por 12,00 €.

Llevaba mucho tiempo queriendo acudir a este lugar y, la verdad, me ha decepcionado bastante por el trato recibido. La empanadilla que probé estaba rica. La cerveza medio caliente. Muchísimo ruido en el bar y muchas dudas con la comanda a la hora de pagar… ¡Una pena!

Este local de ambiente bastante agradable y que tiene estética de “bar de toda la vida” tiene propietarios argentinos y en su carta se nota. Concretamente su plato, estrella el lomito cordobés, tiene fama de ser de los pocos que mantienen su sabor original. En mi opinión, aunque esto sea correcto el precio es un poco excesivo para lo pequeño que es y las patatas jamás deberían de ser de bolsa, sino que verdad como ponen en su Córdoba Natal.

El sitio bien, los camareros bien....tener la puerta rota y poner un cartel de que está "malita" es una puta horterada. Con rachas de viento y en pleno febrero es un planazo si llevas manta. Nota al dueño: no seas rata y arregla eso. Súbele el sueldo de paso a los camareros anda.

Cobraron 50 cnts por un vaso con hielo alegando que no nos cobraban el hielo sino el servicio. Ademas de no avisar de antemano que nos iban a cobrar el vasito dichoso con los dos cubitos de hielo. No se a donde vamos a llegar, capaz empiecen a cobrar por ir al baño. Ademas a una chica que estaba en otra mesa leyendo un libro mientras CONSUMIA su cafe le dijeron de malas formas que tenia 5 mnts para irse, que no era una biblioteca, vamos para no volver mas. Se ve que solo buscan el dinero y el trato con los clientes les da absolutamente igual y mira que siempre ha sido un bar tipico de madrid muy agradable, habrá cambiado de dueño estos años atras, que pena.

Debe de ser que fuimos mal dia y mala hora, viendo otras reseñas, porque la atención no pudo ser peor, es más, fue inexistente. El camarero calvo con tatuajes ni nos atendía, incluso se hacía el loco cuando le llamabamos y muy desagradable. La musica estaba altisima y no tenian nada de comer o para picar a las 20:00 de la tarde. La limpieza de las mesas inexistente y los precios bastante altos para la zona. Una decepción.

I used to come to this restaurant, but stopped because some of the waiters were rude. I decided to give it another try, and it was even worse. They now charge €11 for a single dish menu, no bread included, and the milanesas were tiny, while other tables were getting portions twice the size. It felt completely discriminatory. I won’t be coming back.
