We went on a friend's recommendation and were delighted. The menu was fantastic, all three starters were delicious, the lobster rice was spectacular, and the French toast was incredible. The waiters were also extremely friendly and very kind to us and my baby. We'll definitely be back to try more.

Have eaten there twice. Service friendly, prices extremely reasonable, food outstandingly good. Paella as a main course requires booking and ordering at least 24 hours in advance, with a minimum order of 2 people, but it's really worth the wait - deeply flavourful and very well presented in the paella pan. The a la carte food on our first visit was every bit as good. Very highly recommended

Ubicado en el barrio de Montecarmelo, el restaurante el cantonet cuenta con una carta que homenajea la cocina valenciana tradicional. Empezamos la comida por algo que no puede faltar en una mesa levantina, el pan tostado con all i oli. El mejor que nos hemos comido en Madrid con diferencia. Lo preparan diariamente a mano y lo acompañan de pan de hogaza tostado a la plancha. Uno podría alimentarse sólo de él 🤤 Tomamos también unas ricas navajas a la plancha y unas almejas a la marinera muy diferentes a otras que hemos probado y con una salsa para bañarse en ella. En cuanto a los arroces, pedimos para seis un arroz negro y una paella de solomillitos y ajetes. Ambos con buen sabor aunque con un punto de sal algo subido. Una vez más, y como ya viene siendo costumbre, nos ahorramos los postres al no haber ninguno que no tuviera leche o sus derivados. PRECIO: 22,10€ por persona pidiendo los arroces de 2 raciones cada uno, siendo 6 personas en total. El Arroz es espectacular...El Servicio muy amable. Lo que no nos gustó es que no hubiera carta de Vinos y casi una referencia por tinto o blanco eso no es de recibo con esos precios. Pero lo dicho el Arroz un espectáculo. Mejorad eso y Volveremos.

Hoy hemos comido allí una paella valenciana de pollo y conejo, estaba muy buena aunque se habían pasado con el Romero... De entrante pedimos una patatas braviolis muy ricas también. El camarero muy majete y rápido Tenía terraza pero comimos dentro Tienen trona. Volveremos Total: 38€ sin postre y con dos bebidas.

This is our second time here, and it's really good! A good variety of rice dishes, starters, and wines. Excellent service. We ordered a wine from the menu, which they didn't have, but they quickly offered us another option that wasn't bad and at a good price. The rice was good; to be honest, maybe it needed a touch of something to give it more flavor, but it was delicious and fresh, and it was more than enough for two. The bread with aioli they serve is also very good. We did find the baby squid a bit bland. It's best to book, especially because if you're going to eat rice, they'll call ahead to find out what you're ordering.

Delicious for a very reasonable price!! Menu served with delicious bread. The gazpacho was very fresh & tasty. The rice tasted like nice seafood. As someone wrote already, sometimes you get 2nd hand smoke from people smoking outside.

I've been to this restaurant several times for family gatherings and celebrations. If you're ordering paella, it's in portions, with a minimum of two, as it's a paella, not a single dish. I recommend making a reservation, and when you call if you're ordering paella, let them know how many you'd like. They have both a covered and an indoor terrace. The terrace is the best option for enjoying the weather, although when it's hot, it can be harder to stand if the sun's rays enter through a gap in the awning. Parking is easy nearby. They have an extensive menu of both starters and paellas. The place is pretty and well-maintained. As a recommendation, I suggest the baked rice and paella with sirloin. The downside of the secret and boletus paella is that they're not boletus, but a type of mushroom. For starters, the bread with aioli is very good, as are the ham and calamari croquettes. They have Águila beer on tap. I've been to this place a lot and eaten well, but lately the service (only one waiter on the terrace) hasn't been what it used to be. Last time, it took over an hour to bring out the paellas, and the taste wasn't what it used to be. I also think that because it's the weekend, they're packed and they're in a hurry, and that's noticeable in the taste.

First time here. We ordered two starters, a red shrimp rice dish for 4, and two desserts. The starters were delicious: the fried eggs were delicious, although the Padrón peppers were undercooked for my taste. The Andalusian-style squid was delicious. The bread with aioli was delicious, so we had more. The rice was delicious, and even having more dishes, there was some leftover, so we took it home. The only thing I missed was the slightly larger red shrimp, but I understand it wasn't a seafood platter. In short, a very good experience. The waiters were very friendly and attentive.

The place is okish... We all ordered rice. They add a garlic mayo on top of the rice that is not specified anywhere, and none of us could eat. That should come as an option or bringing the sauce in a different plate. The meat was good, but they messed up with the side order, as I asked for chips and they brought potatoes in a garlic bath. Disappointing. The desserts are so basic that next time I will go for the ice cream Contessa, that is not hand made but at least I know what I will get. From the service perspective, they are completely overwhelmed when peaks are coming, and probably it's better going during the week instead. We ate outside, and we were constantly bothered by people smoking at the door. This is not their fault, but when the wind blows, it might bring the somoke to you.

Although it's offered as a reference for Valencian dishes, there isn't any, and the seafood rice we had was very ordinary, like the kind you can make at home without much effort. The clams a la marinera were of low quality and stewed in broth—lots of broth, no sauce. The rejos were just right. The best part was the aioli. Spectacular. When I go to a restaurant, I always expect something to surprise me, but here, nothing at all. Too bad, I had high expectations.

Al pedir el arroz, nos han comentado que tardan una hora. Finalmente nos hemos marchado ya que íbamos por el arroz pero una hora de espera en un sitio principalmente de arroz...Nos han indicado que la gente ya lo sabe y llama para encargar el arroz..En nuestro casi era la primera vez que íbamos por lo que en la carta debería indicarse que es por encargo o bien, que el restaurante te llame cuando haces la reserva para confirmar si deseas un arroz ya que una hora esperando es una barbaridad..
