He estado cenando hoy, dia 17/12/2025.

A lovely lunch with family today, celebrating a birthday. Food, service and atmosphere were excellent. We didn’t feel rushed and all had a great time. Can’t think of anything that could be improved, we will be back. Thank you.

We had a fantastic visit to The Pilot pub and couldn’t fault a thing. The ambience was warm and welcoming, our table was lovely, and the food and drinks were absolutely delicious. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the outstanding service from Chiedozie and his team — attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel looked after throughout our visit. A wonderful all-round experience, and we will definitely be back. Thank you!

I had a fantastic experience at The Pilot in Chiswick. A big thank you to Sarah, Jude and Luke for their excellent service and for making a superb cappuccino and hot chocolate. The attention to detail and friendly atmosphere really stood out. The pub itself is beautifully decorated, warm and inviting, with a cosy homely feel that makes it a perfect place to unwind. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to others.

We stopped here for a quick snack and drink whilst in the area. This second you walk in this pub you can feel it’s going to be nice from the atmosphere and decor. Ordered drinks from the bar, staff were friendly and chatty. We sat and just ordered a few tapas bits to share, all looked lovely and tasted even better. Staff came back to check on food and were always in view if we needed anything. Shame we don’t live closer as I would love a local like this. Thumbs up and I would highly recommend a visit.

We held a family event on Saturday 28th June in their function room, with many toddlers and we had a wonderful time. All of the staff are excellent , especially those who directly looked after us. They worked very hard, on one of the hottest days of the year - especially with so many small children present. We also had a buffet which was very good. I noticed that many of the tables in the main dining area were reserved, this pub clearly has a very good reputation for good food and an excellent beer/wine selection. I really recommend it and we will return.

I had my 50th birthday here and booked their private function room, VIP area and secret garden. The team were lovely and all the guests were very impressed. Confirmation of booking and paying the deposit along with pre-ordering food and drink got a little more complicated than it needed with the change over of Management (twice) from time of booking to the time of the party. Buffet food was very good as were the range of drinks. My only negative, watch out for the service charge they put on the bill when setting a tab up. I should have checked when I settled the bill. I was stung for over £330 service charge. They added this to the entire bill which included people ordering from the bar!

Looking for somewhere local to Brentford, but accessible to guests coming from further afield, my fiancé and I booked the Wellesley Room at The Pilot for our engagement party for around 65 guests (held on 16 September 2023). We'd already been to The Pilot before at various points in our lives with each other or with friends, and we knew we liked it as a pub, so it was nice to discover the function room. Even with minimum input from us with regards to how we wanted the room set up, the events staff at The Pilot quite clearly have a knack for this sort of thing. We arrived on the day to find some tables and chairs put out and arranged in such a way that those of our guests who couldn't be on their feet for too long had somewhere to sit down, with with more than enough ample seating out in the covered outdoor area that comes reserved as part of booking the Wellesley Room. The Pilot were able to provide festoons of fairy lights, which were all around the room and just perfect for the event, and there were enough points in the beams and walls where our own decorations could be hung up. As a Brentford fan, we wanted to be sure to be able to watch the match that day too - not a problem as there was a large TV in the room with Sky Sports and TNT Sports. Music later on we were able to put on ourselves with the Bluetooth speaker system available in the room (which staff will show you how to set up when you arrive). There is no hire fee, which is really good, just a minimum spend, and if booking over the weekend then expect to pay a £100 deposit to secure the room on a particular date, which is more than reasonable given the location of the pub and the size of the function room. The food options if you require catering are really good and even two weeks on from the event, our friends and family are telling us how much they enjoyed the buffet that we were able to arrange with the in-house catering (the Yorkshire puds were the firm favourite), with options available for all dietary requirements. We were allowed to bring in our own (shop-bought) cake and staff had a fridge where this could be safely stored until needed. It really was the perfect day. There's so much I want to say about it, but if you are local and considering space to hold a function, then we can highly recommend the Wellesley Room. We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ian at The Pilot, who went above and beyond that evening; he looked after us, our families and our friends on the evening to the point that we all considered him a very important person at the party – we honestly owe so much to him for making our engagement party the success that it was. It really was the perfect day, and there was no request too big for staff during the planning stages, or for Ian and his staff on the day. Thank you again to all at The Pilot for giving us a space to make memories that many of us will treasure for years to come!

I was cycling past in the morning on a 14 mile bike ride and saw this quirky little corner pub on the hottest day of the year! I had to stop for a quick drink and the team were very nice and friendly and served me quickly. I sat in the micro garden at the front and enjoy a nice chat with another customer who had the same idea of being out. On the way back (Saturday night) I stopped off again and this time it was much busier with a friendly crowd- I got served quickly again and then sat around the side of the pub where they’ve got some benches kind of built of brick where it was quiet. I didn’t try the food but it was busy and I’m sure it’s a nice. One thing to watch out for is security as when I sat quietly drinking my pint and I saw a young kid with his face covered cycling past looking into cars with a flashlight. He was clearly looking for valuables to steal - I shouted him away but I’m sure that won’t be a deterrent- it would be great if the pub at cctv that covered this angle as well so people parking their cars can feel safe as well.

We got married two weeks ago and held our reception at The Pilot, and honestly both us and our guests have only good things to say. We would wholeheartedly recommend the venue to everyone. When we were looking for a place to hold the reception, we knew we wanted a small venue with a relaxed vibe, so pubs were immediately at the top of our search list. The Pilot immediately impressed us, as unlike lots of other places we contacted, they were super quick to respond to every email and really helpful with the information they provided. They were even working through a re-do of their wedding brochure at the time we were in planning mode, yet they kept us in the loop and were fabulous at helping us make the right choices from the various food and drinks options they were developing. A new events manager, Teck, also came on board during this time and we honestly couldn't be happier about that as he did a phenomenal job throughout. The food is delicious, and the portion sizes are huge (especially considering there's buffets and cake on top of dinner). We were very happy with the quality and options available, both on the wedding menus and that we could add in other bites from the pub menu too if needed. We also got to visit for a food tasting in advance, and were very impressed that even for that Teck pulled out all the stops with decorated table, printed menus, and even asking for any photos we had taken to make sure the presentation of food on the day matched up to what we saw - we weren't fussy about that, but we were certainly impressed by Teck's forward thinking and attention to detail. There is also an online ordering system so we could put in all our menu choices and guest names ahead of time, which made sending in that whole long list very convenient. Teck also let us drop our cakes off the day before the wedding, and pick them up the day after, which made coordination for us super easy. As for the venue itself, the Wellesley function room at the back of the pub garden is gorgeous. As a converted old stable, it has big barn doors which are perfect for a hot summer day, and you can book private use of a section of the garden too. That section is covered, which means no worries about sun or rain as it works great either way. We had planned to bring a few simple decorations with us for the table, though when we arrived Teck had already put out some really tasteful candles and flowers for us that just worked so much better than what we had planned, and we were really grateful for his excellent styling skills! The room size is really convenient too, as it's big enough to be flexible with the table layout, but small enough to still feel like an intimate venue. We had a large asymmetrical U-shape, and this turned out brilliant as it left a nice empty space for mingling and wedding games. Lastly we can't not mention that on the night, we had several members of staff dedicated to just our event, and the absolute stand out star was Ian. He was both super professional and happy to join in our jokes and fun, amazingly attentive to all the guests, constantly keeping an eye on everyone's food and drinks, making sure no glass ran dry, and checking in with us throughout about how the evening was going in general. Ian was an absolute treasure, so kind and thoughtful, and every guest thought he was a highlight of the event. Overall we 100% recommend The Pilot for any wedding or function, their staff are outstanding (especially Teck and Ian) and their thoughtfulness, attentiveness and positivity will make your event so easy to organise and a joy when it happens.

Good venue to spend a relaxing time with friends and family. The pub wasn’t too crowded with indoor and outdoor seatings. Nice lighting and good options for food and drinks. The service was excellent. Overall, a very enjoyable evening.

Charming and traditional pub that manages to feel both cosy and stylish. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening. The food is generally excellent, hitting that sweet spot of a refined gastropub menu with classic dishes and good seasonal ingredients, making it a reliable choice for a great meal or a Sunday roast. They also have a great selection of Fuller's beers and a well-stocked bar, including many local gins. There is a lovely outdoor space: a large, decked, and often covered garden that is perfect for both sunny days and chilly evenings. The staff are friendly and the service is efficient, making for a consistent and enjoyable experience. 4⭐ Recommended 👍🏼.

The pub itself is lovely, great service a good pint and nice relaxed atmosphere, so on that front you couldn't ask for more. But I wasn't overly impressed with the food, I opted for the beef cheek and bone marrow cottage pie, but literally the entire dish was taken up with 2 massive bones with the bone marrow in, and basically a load of mashed potato covered in cheese and a few flecks of meat instead no way near enough, and masses of carrots on the side, and unforgivably no gravy!

A nice pub with friendly staff, but goodness me, some of the customers are hideous. My partner and I arrived at the pub and started queuing behind the only person at the bar. After a few minutes, it was our turn to be served. Then out of nowhere appears some random bald bloke behind us. The barman asked who was next, to which we said "us", but this random bald bloke started insisting it was his turn. Just to reiterate: the guy arrived at the bar several minutes after us. His explanation was that he was at the bar initially, but then went to the toilet to "change his attire" (!!) before we arrived. So apparently you can just leave the bar to go to the toilet, but reserve the right to blithely return however long later and push in front of customers who are actually queuing up. At first we thought it was a joke, but the follicly-challenged, Saltburnesque individual doubled down on his entitlement and proclaimed "good grief!" when I challenged him on his rudeness. It's disappointing that the barman saw what was going on but still chose to serve this highly unpleasant, officious individual before us. On the other hand, I can't blame them as this guy would have probably kicked off otherwise and smashed a glass in someone's face. He definitely had that vibe about him.

I do like this pub but don’t rate their Sunday Roast. I’m not a carrot /parsnip fan but they looked anaemic, cauliflower cheese (on a side plate) was disappointing with barely any cheese sauce, the roasts were not crispy enough and beef just ok. The Yorkshire was the best part with loads of gravy. At a whopping £18.50 it was over priced and underwhelming.

nice pub and i especially like the beer garden but food is so subpar unfortunately. burger and chips were okay but fish and chips had many bones in. the sunday roast was terrible, most items were dry, stale and tasteless. for such a high price (£24 i think), it was highly disappointing.

Went here for a Sunday roast as we’ve been here before unfortunately the following happened - The staff got our order mixed up so one person in our group had food 15 minutes before ours came out - Rest of the food came out and one plate didn’t have roast potatoes. When asked why they pointed to the “extra” potatoes we ordered on top and they said they put them all in one bowl.A plate comes with 4 potatoes and the bowl they gave us came with 4??.So the extra potatoes were none existent, even the staff couldn’t explain - Potatoes weren’t cooked properly and were raw - Manager clearly wasn’t notified of anything as he came round and joked that our friend must’ve loved his food if his plate was empty and ours was full.Didn’t lift our spirits We would come for drinks again but not a roast

I ordered Fish and Chips, which cost £18.95. The fish was either overcooked, or cooked in very old oil, or both. You could tell the chef knew because they presented the fish "upside-down, with the skin side facing up, because that was less burnt. You can see in the photo of the batter I didn't eat how dark it is. It tasted very burnt. I told the staff, who apologised but were very uninterested. Additionally no-one came to our table to clear the plates; I had to take my plate up to the bar to get rid of it after about 15 minutes of waiting.
