Fuimos a pasar unos días a Madrid, y nos gustó tanto que comimos 2 dias seguidos. Servicio escepcional d todo el personal, pero Paula y Antonio nos hicieron sentir como en casa. La comida muy buena, destaco el tártara de Atún y la oreja. Cuando vuelva a Madrid seguro q vuelvo.

Es la segunda vez que visito el restaurante y tuve la oportunidad de probar más variedad de platos. Los torreznos están muy buenos. También probamos el aguacate a la brasa, los buñuelos de morcilla, las croquetas y el pulpo a la brasa con salsa anticuchera. Todo muy bueno y el servicio muy atento.

Los platos tenían un aspecto tan delicioso que se nos olvidó fotografiarlos… solo queríamos probarlos. Riquiiiiiiiiisimo. Increíble el espacio que ocupa el restaurante, una antigua ferretería. La atención excelente y la cocina de matrícula de honor!!!. ! Sin duda, volveremos!!!😍😍😍 Esta es la única foto!😂

I walked by and got attracted by the Michelin mark, so I decided having lunch here I ordered a Russian salad, it’s generously full of seafood! as a girls appetite at lunch, this would be already enough, but I was greedy so I ordered another grilled avocado. It’s like a piece of art! beautifully presented and full of flavour I highly recommend here not only for the food and the whole atmosphere

A very unique experience eating in a historic hardware store converted to a restaurant. We tried 4 of the 5 vegetarian dishes on the menu and each was unique and super tasty. Tried a passion fruit dessert that was yummy and a very interesting take on tiramisu on a plate. Highly recommend giving this place a try but recommend reserving ahead.

Ferreteria Restaurant is a must-visit in Madrid! It’s named Ferreteria because it’s housed in the location of the city’s first hardware store. Right from the entrance, the original hardware shelves stand out, giving the place a unique vibe. Inside, there are several different and interesting spaces, each with its own charm. The ambiance is great for having a conversation without any hassle. The food is excellent—unique, delicious, and they offer some great vegetarian options. Don’t miss their house olive oil; it’s amazing and available for purchase. For dessert, they have five tempting options. We tried the pistachio cheesecake, and it was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Ferreteria and it’s definitely now one of my favorite spots in Madrid!

Innovative and tasty food at a fair price. Everything tasted amazing and the wine list was super fairly priced. One of our favorite meals in Madrid!

Genial restaurante para tapear y probar comida sin muchas pretensiones y con buena calidad. El tartar de atún con salmorejo estaba muy bueno y con mucho sabor, así como la lasaña de carne especiada con leche de coco. Las croquetas de cecina y de jamón se parecían mucho en sabor, pero estaban muy ricas y con textura cremosa. Obligatorio pedirlas. Muy buen servicio. Hay muchas zonas en el restaurante, y para mí las mejores son la entrada o la de la zona del sótano.

Un sitio muy guay para ir a comer o de tarde. Me encanta la decoración y el ambiente. Una propuesta en carta fácil , buen producto y excelente elaboración. Las croquetas son imprescindibles junto con el buñuelo de morcilla. Tanto carnes como pescados xa compartir, son otra muy buena opción junto con los arroces. Los postres son coloridos y fáciles xa picar entre todos. Me ha gustado mucho la experiencia. Muy recomendable!!!

El sitio es espectacular… una mezcla de antiguo y moderno. Nuestra mesa era ideal … elegante y moderna La comida buena… el rodaballo , el cochinillo y el rodaballo excelentes. Los callos llegaron un poco fríos…una pena. Nos encantó la experiencia

Lugar muy agradable, el trato de los camareros muy atentos, la comida es buen producto sin llegar a ser fusión. Recomiendo el torrezno y el arroz de fabo de vaca.

El local tiene una decoración fantástica, es muy original. Es recomendable reservar mesa con antelación porque se llena rápido y es complicado. La atención del personal es amable y educada. Las raciones son escasas y se queda corta la comida, aun así está muy buena. Se nota la calidad del producto. Mis cuatro estrellas son por la atención de la señora que atiende la barra. Su forma de dirigirse a nosotros en dos ocasiones fueron desafortunadas y fuera de lugar por su tono y su forma de decir las cosas. El compañero le sugirió que se relajara.

We arrived around 16:00 and by that time only starters were being served still. The portions are quite large. We ordered potato salad, pork belly, croquettes, and tinto de verano. It’s a very nice place👍 I've stopped giving 5-star ratings because I feel that it makes every place look the same, so I rated it a 4 instead. The food is very good, but it isn't among the best I've ever had. There are probably 10 places in the whole world that I would rate as a 5/5.

Attractive restaurant which reminds us of the Quincaillerie in Brussels. The food was original, good and beautifully presented but they lose a star for charging us 3 euros each for 'pan y aperitivo' which consisted of a small piece of bread and a tiny receptacle with olive oil. No sign of a traditional 'aperitivo'. We should have questioned it at the time. The place was packed as always and you need to book well in advance. We had tried 3-4 times previously without success. There are various areas in the restaurant: on street level there's a bar area for tapas and a part of the restaurant with high tables. The main restaurant is downstairs in an elegant brick-walled cellar. Here there are also different areas: one right next to the kitchen (not recommended); another in a sort of corridor where we were with an open window, no air conditioning and two noisy tables of 4 packed tight on either side of us; and then there's a very attractive part further on which includes two small private dining areas. I have gone into this detail because if you are looking to enjoy a peaceful meal, it´s important where you sit!

Really great tapas place! Loved the croquettes, the avocado, the eggplant, and the meat dishes. The octopus and the pork were meh. Nothing super outstanding but overall a very enjoyable experience.

This is a great place to have dinners with friends over birthday’s or other occasions. The staff is absolutely best and kind. The food is scrumptious and the taste is very refined. I would rate this as a gourmet restaurant. The portions are small but filling, so if you would like to eat a lot, this is not ideal. The presentation of food is classy and to the point. Do try!

All I can say is that it was okay. Nothing special, just okay. I went there because my friends recommended this place. The food was good, I expected something better from a restaurant with a Michelin star. The service could be better, I was just standing at the entrance for 5 minutes before I got any attention and got my table. We asked for potatoes, tomato tartar, salmon, scallops and octopus. I’d say that octopus was the best thing, very tender. Other things were okay. In general, good experience but I don’t think I’d recommend this place to my friends

We discovered through Explore in Google Maps that this resto had a high average rating of 4.5 compared to the surrounding restos. We were immediately seated on an indoor room with bar stools.The place was clean with a modern style featuring vintage photos and memorabilia, perhaps of the owners. All our orders were superb: the boquerones, pigs ears, croquetas & the mountain rice. However, the staff who served us seemed to always be in a hurry that we found the reception to be quite cold. I’m not sure if it was because there were so many diners.

He de decir que la comida estaba buena y las raciones eran correctas. Y el sitio muy original. El nivel de ruido es demasiado intenso. La ubicación en la zona de la cocina superior, que coincide con la zona de acceso a los comedores y al WC no es la mejor , por el trasiego y ruido que hay. Y el servicio de las 3 camareras no fue muy adecuado. Pedías algo y tardaban una vida en traerlo. Is this the most overpriced, overhyped restaurant in Madrid? It very well might be. My husband got an old fashioned, which was good. He also got croquettes which were very overpriced. I got a caipirinha that was all lime. It was so sour it made me pucker immediately. I had to call the waiter over and request that they remake it; the manager seemed very angry, but when I pointed out how incredibly sour it was, he relented. They then brought out a glass of almost entirely ice with one sip of drink, almost out of spite. I also got the steak tartar, which was more mayonnaise and lemon juice than anything else. I ate about half and gave up, and left the restaurant with a disgusting taste in my mouth, since I couldn't get the mayo taste to go away. With the most expensive croquettes in town and overpriced cocktails, this was actually more expensive than steak dinners I've had in Madrid. And we both left hungry and gave up and went somewhere else. Terrible food, terrible drinks, rude staff. They also play terrible pop music from the '90s, which does not match the ambiance at all. It was practically schizophrenic. You are paying for the decorations on the walls, that's it.
