Es un sitio al que llevaba tiempo queriendo ir y la verdad es que la experiencia fue muy positiva, el ambiente del local es muy acogedor con una luz tenue y unos camareros muy atentos en todo momento. Loved this place so much! Proper food gourmet experience - mamma mia! Will come here again and again. The wine was good, staff were friendly and attentive - we didn’t have to wait for anything really - atmosphere and interior was done to perfection and the food was top tier! We had cod carpaccio, schnitzel with truffle and white fish with some soy sauce and olive oil.

We had a lunch reservation and ordered: - fresh spinach with cod - sea bream - Cantonese style fried red snapper with endive - tender beef cheek - flan with spicy mango chutney Loved the sea bream! Great quality fish and olive oil paired nicely with the herbs on top. Our favorite dish of the meal. Spinach dish was cooked in a delicious sauce with cod and garlic - a close second favorite. Fried red snapper was well cooked and seasoned however not deboned. They ask u whether u want it with or without the head on the plate. Tender beef cheeks are indeed very tender, though drowning in a sauce that has a sour/vinegar-y taste (not bad though). Flan was so interesting! Not too sweet and with a kick from the spicy mango chutney. Everything was very well done! The portions are bigger than expected (we were expecting tapas portions). The atmosphere is modern and rustic. Would love to come back when in Madrid again.

We visited Fismuller Madrid from London in November 2025 and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. We booked a week in advance without any issues and were seated promptly at 20:00 for a table of four – the first dinner seating, which is normal in Spain. From the moment we arrived, the service stood out for being both professional and genuinely friendly. The team was warm, attentive, and made us feel very welcome without ever being intrusive. The menu offered a well-balanced selection of dishes and wines — creative but not overwhelming. Every plate felt carefully prepared, with fresh ingredients and thoughtful seasoning. The flavors complemented each other beautifully, and the presentation was inviting without feeling fussy. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience: great atmosphere, excellent food, and outstanding service. Highly recommend Fismuller for anyone visiting Madrid, and we’ll definitely return the next time we’re in town.

One of my most memorable dining experiences! From the first time we walked by and saw twinkling candlelight dancing on simple white tablecloths and reflecting off sparkling wine glasses, I was obsessed with eating there, ourselves. Sometimes an impression disappoints and sometimes it surpasses. The refined rustic setting, exceptional service, creative flavors, and live guitar music, indeed, surpassed my imaginings. The food offerings feature fresh ingredients and are punctuated with the food delivery at table - mixing, cutting, cheese grating - adding to the experience. The juxtapositions of flavors and textures delivered joy to the palate. Creamy cheese with salted ham and sweet peaches touched by a hint of green. Tender sea bass belly with citrusy curly endive. Tender meat perfectly seasoned and breaded. Smooth smoked flan with mango chutney that may have been the best dish I’ve ever tasted. The experience at Fismuler gave us a perfectly paced and delicious romantic evening in Madrid. Gracias!

I made a reservation a month in advance because the restaurant is usually quite busy. I highly recommend making a reservation. For food, I recommend the dorada semicurada and solomillo de vaca nacional, not the duck. The duck was hard to chew. We ordered four dishes, but it was too much for two people. Three dishes would have been enough.

We were visiting from NYC to see our daughter, who’s studying abroad in Madrid, and wanted to treat her and her friends to a nice dinner. Fismuler delivered! We were a group of ten and were seated at a lovely oval table that made conversation easy and enjoyable. We shared an array of dishes — many of them outstanding. The dorada, alcachofas, arroz rojo, and escalope are not to be missed. Fismuler was incredibly accommodating, and after almost four hours, nine bottles of wine, and lots of laughter, we all agreed: it was a perfect night of great food and great vibes. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Excellent lunch experience here with my wife and friend. The staff were attentive, friendly and knew a little english. Food was absolutely fantastic and well priced. You could tell that only the best quality ingredients were on offer. We all left extremely satisfied and I would gladly come here again with some other friends. Very happy with the recommendation.

Very unique place with a great menu. The place is beautiful with a very cool aesthetic and seating arrangement. The menu had a lot of options and I wish I could’ve tried them all. The food was great the flavors and the mix of ingredients were great. The only thing I can criticize was that our cod was a little raw but other than that the rest of the food was great. We shared all the dishes we got and we ended up pretty full. The portions are great.

Éramos un grupo largo para cenar y nos han acomodado súper bien en la mesa. Hubo muchísimos platos con existo en nuestro grupo, a destacar el cachopo y la burrata. Puntos negativos para la falta de opciones vegetarianas en la carta, mismo entendiendo que el menú no es fijo podría haber por lo menos un plato. Los postres también estaban muy buenos

Entiendo su fama, todo estaba espectacular!!! La corvina y el bocata de oreja quizá lo que más nos gustó, el escalope muy bueno pero lo otro estaba tan bueno que se quedó un poco atrás… No pudimos probar la famosa tarta de queso, habrá que volver!

La comida estaba muy rica y muy bien servida. Para los postres tardaron mucho en traerlos y además fueron un poco decepcionantes. La famosa tarta de queso tenía un sabor demasiado fuerte para mi gusto y el postre de pistacho tampoco me convenció. La de chocolate fluido sí que estaba rica. Costó alrededor de 55 € por persona.

Un lugar excepcional en el centro de madrid. Si buscas calidad en la comida y producto bueno. El nom de pato muy recomendable. No es barato pero merece la pena conocerlo un día. Muy bien y bocado, un local amplio y destacado. Las mesas con detalle de las velas. El escalope hay que probarlo. Bien presentado y vendido. Muy amable el servicio. Bajo la puntuación porque nos tocó una mesa al principio de la sala y al haber música fue muy incómodo para hablar y disfruta de comida y charla. Quizá no sea sexuado en horario de comidas y cenas porque hace que no puedas mantener una charla. Eso dificultó la comida . Creo que este asp cito habría que mejorarlo. La verdad es que era buena ambiente pero no para esas mesas o a esa hora.

Excelente lugar para comer. Platos deliciosos. La atención está muy bien. El dorado increíble, el escalope excelente y el pescado también y La tortilla de bacalao lo mejor. La tarta de queso dejo mucho que desear. Esperaba más de ella tras haber escuchado muchos comentarios positivos.

Had a great dinner night at Fismuler! Lovely ambience and good service. We loved the smoked artichoke with oyster leafs. It was the highlight of our dinner. We also had the duck, which was unfortunately a bit chewy and not as exciting as we expected. The cheesecake was very special, definitely the right choice for everyone who like a strong blue cheese flavor. Quite pricey but I would visit again.

Service and food was good. Their famous schnitzel while is an awesome attraction, it is a bit of a tough dish to finish. Big in volume, but taste gets a bit monotonous. Recommend the squid and heart of the garden. Very solid

Very cool restaurant. Loved the atmosphere and decor- especially with all the fermentations and pickles on display. The food was fantastic- pate and bread were good (although they charge for it), the sea bream crudo was simple and delicious, the octopus and beets were cooked well, oysters were undressed but fine. The star was the sea bass: perfectly crunchy skin and good sauce, the tenderloin: incredibly tender and melted in your mouth and the cheesecake. I still dream about the cheesecake. Don’t miss it!

Fuimos a Fismuler con expectativas bastante altas, tanto por las reseñas como por la fama de algunos de sus platos. El local es precioso, el ambiente muy agradable y el servicio fue correcto durante toda la experiencia. Teníamos muchas ganas de probar la milanesa y la tarta de queso, pero no terminaron de convencernos. La milanesa nos resultó algo seca y con poca proporción de pollo. La tarta de queso tampoco fue lo que esperábamos, tenía poco relleno y no destacó frente a otras que hemos probado en Madrid. El pan con dip y el tiradito de dorada si estaban muy ricos. En conjunto, la experiencia fue correcta, aunque, considerando los precios y lo difícil que es conseguir reserva, nos quedamos con la sensación de que los platos más esperados no estuvieron a la altura. Puede que sea en parte una cuestión de gustos y que otros platos puedan ofrecer una experiencia diferente.

Fui con mi esposa al último turno de almuerzo, a las tres y cuarto con altas expectativas por las numerosas ocasiones en que había escuchado sobre este lugar. Fismuler estaba a reventar de madrileños. Esperaba la magia de esas listas top, pero no. El steak tartare de chuletón suena original, pero esos trozos duros de grasa lo arruinan, y la salsa, con mostaza, sriracha y grasa de vaca encima, pesa más que levanta. Sobre tostada sí cruje, pero ni de lejos lo mejor de Madrid. Le doy un seis. Su plato más icónico, el escalopine de cerdo prometía ser crujiente, pero el huevo y trufa, lo ablandan sin añadirle te ro sabor como uno espera—tuve que echarle sal y tanto mi esposa como yo, no lo terminamos. Los comensales d esa mesa a nuestro lado, tampoco. Un cinco o seis. Las alcachofas que pidió mi esposa, asadas, bien cocidas, un siete, aunque ese toquecito a pescado del caviar me chirrió. Cheesecake famoso: aceptable, otro siete, pero el de Taberna y Media lo humilla. Cien euros para dos, con una copa de vino y una gaseosa para mi, me pareció mucho para la calidad. El ambiente de Fismuler es bonito, nórdico, minimalista; el servicio, plano. No repito. I went with my wife for the last lunch slot at 3:15, with really high expectations after hearing about this place so many times. Fismuler was packed to the rafters with madrileños. I was waiting for that top-list magic… but nope, it didn’t happen. The steak tartare made with chuletón sounds original, but those hard chunks of fat completely ruin it, and the sauce—with mustard, sriracha, and beef fat on top—just weighs everything down instead of lifting it. It’s on a crispy toast, which helps a little, but it’s nowhere near the best tartare in Madrid. I give it a 6. Their most iconic dish, the escalopine de cerdo, promised to be crispy, but the egg and truffle just make it all soggy and soft, without adding the flavor you’d hope for—I had to pile on salt, and neither my wife nor I finished it. The people at the table next to us didn’t finish theirs either. 5 or 6 at best. My wife’s roasted artichokes were well-cooked and decent (a 7), though that weird little fishy note from the caviar really threw me off. The famous cheesecake: acceptable, another 7, but the one at Taberna y Media absolutely crushes it. Around €100 for two, with a glass of wine for her and a soda for me. Felt like way too much for the quality we got. The atmosphere at Fismuler is nice—Nordic, minimalist, beautiful. Service was flat. I won’t be repeating.

¡GRAN DECEPCIÓN! Habíamos escuchado mucho de este restaurante y realmente nos decepcionó. Hemos ido a otros restaurantes de este grupo y siempre no había ido muy bien (Las tortillas de Gabino y Molino de Pez en Barcelona). La comida nada excepcional. Es más bastante regular. El restaurante es ruidoso.

Poorly designed and poorly seasoned dishes. The dorade had a crazy amount of neutral oil, no balance of flavor. The duck w burrata same issue, poorly seasoned. It felt like the food just lacked any sort of character whatsoever. W almost a hundred people sitting down at 11p they decided to put in a live band, and it was so loud it was impossible to hear anything. Just the flavorless, colorless, numbing experience.

It was our first night in Madrid, and we were very excited to dine at Fismuler. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing and upsetting. From the start, we were treated with nothing but disrespect. I don’t know if it was racism, but we were the only guests who were consistently dismissed by the staff, particularly by the person who appeared to be their supervisor. He was wearing a dark blue polo when we were there (Oct 1, 2025) We travel often and dine in many restaurants around the world, and we have never experienced this level of disregard. When I tried to ask about the menu to clarify some dishes, he didn’t even bother to stay for a minute to answer my questions. The final straw came with dessert. I was really looking forward to their cheesecake, but what they served looked very different from the photos and descriptions online. I politely tried to ask about it, but before I could even finish my question, the supervisor cut me off with a curt “yeah, same” and walked away. No explanation, no effort to engage. His manner made us feel like we were a burden to him, almost as if he was disgusted to even be around us. A good front-of-house should show care and respect, especially when guests are trying to understand the menu and enjoy the experience. Instead, we left feeling disrespected and unwelcome.
