The grilled mussels were recommended to us, and honestly, they're one of the star dishes—spectacular! The beer, served in a pitcher and poured perfectly, is Amstel, but it's perfectly acceptable. I don't think it's the best in the neighborhood, as some have said, but that's just my opinion. The weekend menu is quite good; everything is homemade and very tasty and high quality. The fabada (Asturian bean stew) lacked a little flavor, and the judiones (large white beans) were better, but it's still very edible. The cachopo (breaded and fried veal cutlet) was spectacular, with an exquisite flavor and very well prepared. The rice pudding was delicious; I would have liked it a little thicker, but I recommend it... And if you add a splash of anise liqueur...it's a 10/10! The mixed grill was very tasty, a bit small, but worth it. The suckling pig was delicious; it has a supplement, but it's worth it. The cheesecake with condensed milk is heavenly... The service is very good, and everyone is very friendly. We ate there again, and the set menu was delicious. The fideuà, the potato salad... The anchovies were exquisite, as was the swordfish. The staff were incredibly attentive.

My mother-in-law goes there a lot; she likes it a lot, so we go from time to time. Whenever we go, the service from the waiters is always excellent. The restaurant has an indoor dining room and an outdoor terrace, which is very good. On weekends, you have to get there early because it gets packed. The food is generally very good whenever we go. On this occasion, we ordered: cod scramble €11 (very tasty with potato and onion), broken eggs with ham €12 (the quantity was super good, the eggs were perfect and the flavor was rich), and spaghetti carbonara €10 (the quantity was good but the flavor was perhaps a bit bland). Everything cost us €44.30, a very good price for the food and the quantity.

It was quite good, actually. They found us a table even though we didn't have a reservation, and from then on everything was great. Good service and quick, the food was delicious, and the price was reasonable. I'd definitely go back.

Honestly, the quality, quantity, and price are all just average. I've been to better places. One diced potato with a little spicy sauce for €8 seems outrageous. At most, that amount should be worth €5 or €6. It's a residential area of ​​Madrid, not a touristy spot, so they shouldn't charge that much. I hope they improve in every way possible. Good luck!

A classic, old-fashioned place, but clearly a place people just pass through. I went into a huge establishment with at least four or five waiters, some on the terrace and two behind the bar, but they seemed rather unenthusiastic. I ordered a slice of Spanish omelet, which was passable, and a beer. I ordered another beer and then ordered the worst potato salad I've ever had. The ingredients were potatoes, peas, carrots, and tuna piled on top of mayonnaise—bland and tasteless. There was a woman with glasses there who I got the impression was the owner. Well, what can I say to her? She should modernize the bar, motivate her waiters, and improve the food, although it's clear she's surviving on the number of passersby, because I wouldn't go back.

They had a television in the living room, and I went in to ask if we could watch the football and have dinner, the usual thing. Well, out of the three waiters, not one of them asked me when I came in. They asked me three times how many of us there were, and also how many tapas we would like! "Excuse me," I said, "I don't know how many tapas yet, I haven't seen the menu. I'll tell you when we sit down!" They replied that if we didn't have more than four tapas, we would have to sit at the bar (tables with high stools where my mother can't sit). "We'd like to be in the living room, if possible," they said. The look on the faces of the three waiters said, "You'd better leave!" I can't believe it, and the living room was empty! What kind of way is that to treat customers who want to have dinner? Outraged, I went out to tell my family we were leaving, but I was so angry that I went back to tell them, "How rude! You impose so many conditions for dining at your restaurant, it's shameful! Thanks for nothing!" I don't know the quality of the food; they didn't even let us try. A good place starts with a good staff—friendly people who make you feel welcome. And here, out of three people, not one cared about us staying. It's the first time I've ever seen anything like it... unbelievable!

The morning waiter was rude. I said good morning, he didn't answer. I asked for something, he didn't answer. He brought our food reluctantly. We ordered coffee with cold milk and it came scalding hot. We asked for a glass of water and the glass was dirty. I won't be back. I advise the manager/owner to keep a closer eye on the staff because, at least the morning waiter, it's clear he doesn't like his job.
