Es un sitio al que mejor ir con reserva, sin reserva es muy complicado conseguir mesa (al menos fin de semana), y normal porque el sitio es espectacular. No he probado mejores tacos de rabo de toro en mi vida, súper recomendables.
Llegamos a Madrid el viernes y lo encontramos de casualidad, sin tener idea previa del lugar. Comimos del menú del día y por 15€ la comida era espectacular. Tamaño de las raciones, calidad de la comida, sabor, precio y local todo al mismo nivel. Muy recomendable por mi parte. Nos atendió nuestro paisano canario Armiche que fue de lo más agradable y profesional.
Decir que La Pescadería es solo un restaurante de Madrid sería quedarse muy corto. Es, más bien, un santuario gastronómico y un oasis de calidez en el vibrante barrio de Malasaña. Desde el momento en que cruzas su umbral, el fabuloso entorno te envuelve y te promete una velada memorable. El diseño interior es sencillamente espectacular y sumamente acogedor. Huyendo de la frialdad moderna, este local apuesta por una atmósfera íntima y reconfortante, conseguida magistralmente gracias a sus mesas y sillas de madera noble, que aportan un toque rústico y elegante a la vez. La iluminación es, sin duda, una de las claves de su magia: las lámparas de luz cálida amarilla están colocadas estratégicamente para crear rincones de paz y privacidad. Además, el restaurante se distribuye en varias salas íntimas y acogedoras, lo que permite disfrutar de una comida o cena en un ambiente tranquilo, casi como si estuvieras en un salón privado. Este diseño tan bien pensado garantiza que cada visita se sienta especial y personal. Pero un entorno tan cuidado no valdría de nada sin un servicio a su altura, y aquí es donde La Pescadería brilla con luz propia. La atención del personal es sencillamente excelente, superando cualquier expectativa. Desde la recepción hasta el último adiós, el equipo demuestra una profesionalidad exquisita, combinada con una calidez y una cercanía que te hacen sentir inmediatamente valorado y bienvenido. El personal está siempre atento, pero sin ser intrusivo, con una sonrisa genuina y dispuesto a ofrecer recomendaciones detalladas sobre la carta y los vinos. Esta dedicación al cliente es, sin duda, uno de los pilares que convierten una simple visita en una experiencia cinco estrellas. Y, por supuesto, la joya de la corona: la espectacular carta. Su propuesta se basa en un producto de altísima calidad, fresco y tratado con un respeto que se nota en cada bocado. Los amantes del buen comer encontrarán aquí verdaderas delicias. Si bien toda su oferta merece elogios, hay varios platos de calidad excelente y sublime que son de mención obligatoria, desde sus carnes a la brasa del día hasta sus originales entrantes. Al no haber alcachofas, preguntamos a la camarera qué nos recomiendab y nos aconsejó los langostinos con mango y aguacate y fue lo que más nos gustó🤩 Por poner una pega, no trajeron la gilda junto con la anchoa como entrante, tuvimos que volver a pedirla al ver que no llegaba. Sin duda, se trata de uno de los mejores restaurantes de todo Madrid, ¡el número 1 absoluto del barrio de Malasaña! Es extremadamente raro encontrar una calidad tan excelsa en toda la carta: desde el pescado hasta la carne, pasando por los postres, ¡cada plato de nuestra experiencia ha sido merecedor de un juicio superlativo! Empezad probando el menú del día y volveréis varias veces por semana. Por las fotos podéis percibir de inmediato las delicias a las que me refiero; ¡me limito a mencionar las patatas bravas, porque son las mejores que he comido en mi vida! En definitiva, tras visitar esa obra maestra absoluta del patrimonio histórico-artístico de la capital que son los maravillosos frescos de la iglesia de San Antonio de los Alemanes—de una belleza conmovedora que transmite una emoción extraordinaria—, a pocos pasos podréis vivir una experiencia culinaria que estoy seguro de que no olvidaréis.
es un sitio muy recomendable en el centro de Madrid para disfrutar de platos originales y muy bien elaborados en un ambiente animado. Destacaría la ensaladilla rosa de remolacha, diferente y muy sabrosa; el ceviche de corvina, fresco y bien equilibrado; y la tortilla abierta de morcilla, potente y muy rica. Los canelones de costilla de ternera también merecen mención: melosos y llenos de sabor. Una combinación de platos que sorprende y que invita a compartir. El servicio fue atento y agradable, y el local es perfecto para ir con amigos, pedir varias cosas al centro y disfrutar de la experiencia. Un sitio para volver y seguir probando más de la carta.
Nuestra experiencia fue simplemente fantástica. El servicio fue impecable desde el primer momento, pero lo que realmente nos conquistó fue la comida. Queremos hacer una mención especial a Queta, la encargada, que nos atendió de maravilla y nos recomendó el ceviche. ¡Un acierto total! Estaba de 10, súper fresco y lleno de sabor. Nos fuimos tan encantados que ya tenemos claro que este mismo fin de semana volveremos con toda la familia para que ellos también lo prueben. ¡100% recomendable!
It was delicious. We had the Ox Tail Tacos and Burger. It’s gonna be a go-to spot for me, when it comes to those ox tail tacos! The best part was the kindness and attentiveness of our server, Ton! He was always with a smile and probably the friendliest I’ve met here in Madrid!

I recently had one of my best seafood experiences at this restaurant. The food was bursting with flavor, and everything was incredibly fresh. The waiter was exceptionally professional and welcoming, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The ambiance of the place is fantastic, with a unique and well-thought-out design. Additionally, the prices are fair, making it a great value for such high-quality seafood.went again and found the service drop in a horrible way , especially the toilet !
The food is amazing. A little off the main path, which lends itself to a perfect outing. We wanted to sit outside, and were encouraged to hang at the bar until a table opened. Challenge accepted. I recommend the fried anchovies and veal sweet breads. Skip the steak tartare.

Our hotel receptionist recommended this restaurant for us to try and it did not disappoint! We were lucky to get a table as we were walk in customers. The service is very good, our waitress is super friendly and polite (I forgot her name 😅 beautiful chinese girl) and the food recommendations did not disappoint, each dish was delicious!! Amazing experience at La Pescaderia! The service was top notch, the atmosphere was vibrant and captivating, and the food was just incredibly delicious! We ordered the tasty house Vermouth, wich paired well with the juicy Tacos de rabo de toro, and a couple glasses of the La Tucha Albariño, which paired magnificently with the flavorful Langostinos salteados and the Ceviche de Corvina, probably one of the best Ceviches I have ever had. For dessert, we had the Pinky panther, to sweeten up and finalize the gastronomic journey! Everything for less than €60 Euros! Simply fantastic! Definitely recommend it!

A very very good cuisine ! Plates are usually very beautifully presented and ingredients are savory - prices are ok but sides are quite cheap for a good quantity. The inside decoration is of great taste and the terrace is nice. We came here twice, always a great spot !

Pedimos buñuelos de bacalao, súper recomendados lo que más nos gustó, las milhojas de ventresca buenas pero no fue un plato a destacar a nuestro gusto, aunque estaba bueno. La milanesa de setas muy rica y una opción vegana muy buena. Las torrijas increíbles, y la tarta de chocolate también, tenía un toque ligero con sal que nos encantó. En definitiva muy buena oferta de platos, y el sitio es muy acogedor.

This was recommended by our hotel. The food was decent, although the lady sitting across from our table quietly warned us not to get the chicken wings that were recommended to her and her husband. We ordered a lot of food, but they came out slow. At one point one wait staff asked if we were done when we are still waiting for more food. They got one of our orders wrong(the waitress repeated our order to us, but still entered something else into the system), but happy to correct it when we pointed it out. Just more waiting. Things happen and we have to stay positive. Overall, the items we ordered were good. Better than average. We would come back again.
I visited Madrid to attend grad class graduations. I wanted somewhere local to try with my mom while we had a free night. This place was recommended to us when I asked the hotel staff for some place local that had tapas. The vibe and atmosphere was exactly what I expected. It really gave local vibes, but it was often busy and very loud. When we first arrived I was a bit concerned, because it took a while for us to be acknowledged and the host asked if we had a reservation (seemed like it was a hot spot for casual dining by locals). It took us a bit to get seated. We had the worst table possible i guess (right in front of the door, cold came in on us everytime the door opened as people entered). I later realized that there were multiple tables further back in the restaurant and tons more downstairs…so was a bit disappointed with seating. The food was 8/10. Oxtail Tacos and Patata Bravas were great. I was disappointed by the sautéed prawns we ordered (i think someone confused shrimp for prawns…because they were TINY)
I can see why this place might be popular, but it didn't exactly meet my expectation. All dishes were a bit too salty, it was loud, but the service was pretty good. Probably a great place if you want to go out for drinks and have bites.

No hay mucha variedad de pescado como para una pescadería. El sabor es bastante normal, no muy intenso, casi sin sal. El personal es amable, pero la comida no nos gustó mucho. El postre fue totalmente insípido.
El bar La Pescadería es un local chulo, bien situado y bien decorado. Tienen mesas con sillas y bancos con taburetes. Estuvimos allí para tomar una copa y vimos que ofrecen gran variedad de cocktails (la oferta de GIN’s y VODKA’s es limitada) El personal no es especialmente atento, ni rápido!
All in all the food was nice and delicious. Presentation was good. We tried several plates and the flavour was excellent. The portions however are not big and would leave you hungry if you don't eat several plates or share with others. The service was friendly and nice and helpful in suggesting plate options. The set up of the place is not too bad. Friendly atmosphere and has several spots for small as well as big groups. We were there early so it was not crowded or busy yet.
This place was recommended by some friends, I’ll be straight: The bad: - the ceviche. Fish quality was very poor, It was not fresh, minimum few days old. I couldn’t finish the dish. This was upsetting as the place is, by name, a place for fish. - oxtail tacos. I wanted to like these so bad, and also was recommended the dish, however the meat had no texture, and the tacos were way over sauced. Reminded me of California style tacos. Too much sauce to cover up the meat, but there was no bite. Mush. The good: - the calamari with caramelized onions was astounding. Extremely fresh, great balance of flavors and perfectly cooked. Was one of my favorite calamari dishes I’ve tried. Service: The service team is very polite, and the floor manager is attentive and accommodating, however service is lacking because they’re understaffed in a large restaurant, so you can go unnoticed for some time because your server is caught in a different area with another table. They need one more experienced head waiter or two mid. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but I was disappointed. Hopefully this was an off day and other days are better food.
This was easily the worst meal we had in a week exploring Madrid's food scene. The food was fine (the octopus was tasty but some of the mussels were not fresh and not properly clean). The real problem is that the restaurant focus is clearly sitting as many customers as possible rather than giving them the best experience. They were rushing to get our orders and between serves, and tables were super close to each other and to the entrance door. Not worth it
