¡Delicioso! Fuimos el viernes pasado a cenar y fue una maravilla. Probamos el mollete de chistorra por 5,5€, ¡estaba buenísimo! Tuvimos que esperar unos 10 minutos para sentarnos, porque era viernes por la noche, pero mereció la pena. El ambiente dentro es muy animado, con un local muy bonito y mesitas en terraza (ideales ahora que llega el buen tiempo). Nos quedan muchos molletes por probar... ¡Volveremos seguro!

Tuvimos que esperar unos 20 minutos para que se liberara una mesa. Pero a pesar de ello, salimos súper contentos. Los molletes estaban muy buenos, súper jugosos y sabrosos, además de a muy buen precio (6,20€) para el tamaño y cantidad de relleno. Las croquetas muy ricas también. Volveremos sin duda, pero la próxima vez entre semana para no esperar tanta cola.

Los Rotos means the Broken Ones, sounds like a therapy group, but it’s actually where Madrid feeds the soul with carbs and cholesterol. Their famous huevos rotos usually comes with jamón, but we went rogue and ordered the version with cod fish.. because nothing says “vacation decisions” like swapping pork for something that swims. Turns out, it still worked. The eggs were perfectly broken, the potatoes beautifully confused, and the cod just salty enough to remind you of your past choices. Served in their trademark little metal pan, the whole thing looked like breakfast that gave up on structure, and won. Famous for their pan dishes, Los Rotos doesn’t bother with fancy plating. Everything’s dumped in the same trusty pan, like your abuela decided to serve straight from the stove just to save time and your dignity. The place is casual, noisy, and unapologetically alive.. kind of like Madrid itself after its third glass of vermut. Statistically speaking, Madrid has more bars than churches, and if you end up in the wrong one, you’ll pray. But in Los Rotos, you’ll only sin.. with extra potatoes and a perfectly dented metal pan.

Delicious dishes, and above all VERY hearty and generous portions.🤩 As a big eater, I tried two “mollettes”: the Serrano ham and the chorizo. Honestly, one would have been more than enough. 😭 We were seated in a quiet area at the back of the restaurant, it wasn’t noisy, but we did eat during off-peak hours. The chicken decor was quite funny. You won’t be disappointed!

Worth a visit! We went here on a Saturday evening and had to wait in line for a little bit. I think they were managing the work load because it was very busy and there were only 2 waiters for the whole restaurant but it resulted in quite a long waiting time infront of the restaurant. It might have been better to seat us fist (because there were empty tables) and have us wait with a drink than have us stand in line but ok: that’s the only critique I have. Once we sat the service was super fast and friendly. We ordered 2 beers, a huge plate of pimentos di padron, croquettas with cod and two of the signature “muffins”. And let me tell you: it was all delicious. I had the ratatouille muffins and my boyfriend the one with Jambon. Portion sizes were crazy for the price and the restaurant has a cute interior! 10/10 !!

Amazing place to eat here in Madrid. You have to get the huesos rotos. The skillet plate with Chistorra is absolutely amazing and a must. They have really good potatos and seafood as well. I think this is a nice lowkey place to try. Not super touristy either.

Los Rotos has a wonderful, warm, and cozy cafe vibe. I would’ve loved to visit for dinner as well! We went early for breakfast and the food was amazing (huge portions of egg and ham, I could’ve gotten away with sharing!) everyone was so kind there too, the next time we visit Spain, we’ll make a stop here again

We stumbled upon this gem while on our mission to find a local spot, and let me tell you, it was absolutely worth the hunt. The menu offered an impressive range of options, from pans and cold mollets to a variety of veal, pig, and seafood dishes, as well as some fantastic seasonal choices. After some contemplation, I went with the Duck and Foie under *Rotos De Luxe*, the Castilian soup from the seasonal section, and the Taquitos de Pincho Moruno from the "Of The Pigs" category. The lean pork was so tender it practically melts in your mouth. The Duck and Foie were perfectly succulent, rich in flavor, and the Castilian soup had just the right balance of warmth and depth. It was the kind of meal that makes you forget about everything else going on around you. The vibe of the place added an extra layer to the experience.Can't wait to go back!

The molletes (muffins) were very good and the portion was huge!! Great supper option - although they serve pretty much the same kinds of food in different forms (like muffin or pan). Ambience was great, cosy and authentic. There was a short line at 10pm on Friday but it cleared quickly (also a line at other times of the day actually). Staff were friendly and their service was prompt. Note that drinks menu were not included in their main menu, so you need to refer to somewhere else or ask the service staff. Overall - Recommended!

Fantastic place with a huge variety of huevos rotos "broken eggs". I had the parmesan and black truffle and was great, my wife has the boletus one. The service is friendly, but not so much attentive, sometimes seems that they forgot about us. it's a small place, so arrive early (before 8pm) or be prepared to queue.

Located in the city centre, I would call Los Rotos a hidden gem that is unnoticed by tourists. While there, we observed that mostly locals are sitting (We were the sole tourists sitting). Be careful …

Cena 28/12/2025 comensales 4 Recomendado por un amigo espectativas altas, pero... Se quedaron en un seis de 10. La patata difícil de diferenciar en la sartén con el pollo al curry. Justito nuestro servicio en la mesa, equivocación pedimos un Vino Rioja y trajeron un Ribera del Duero, lo cambiaron ya abierto y servido en copa. Una de las cuatro sartenes fría de temperatura ( bacalao ) ya nos dio pena volver a llamar la atención. Intento ser contrustivo para mejorar.

Un sitio para comer rápido y bien, ya se ha convertido en un clásico del centro. Buena cantidad y de lo más barato que te vas a encontrar por la zona. Lo más típico son sus molltes rellenos, con uno te quedas bien.

Fui a comer Los Rotos, y aunque el servicio fue increíble, estaban muy salados! Pero aún así sabían ricos! Es un lugar súper céntrico para comerlos y los ofrecen en 3 modalidades, si es un brunch RECOMENDACIÓN compartan el sartén !

Me gusta mucho ir allí siempre que voy a Madrid. Es la primera vez que como en el salón de dentro, ya que fuera hacía bastante frío, y es verdad que el servicio esta vez dejó un poco que desear, ya que el chico de la barra nos decía que dentro no había ni un hueco libre con intención de que nos saliésemos fuera a esperar cuando justo habíamos visto que sí que habían varios. Eso sí, la comida tan buena como siempre, es que de verdad que los molletes rellenos de huevos rotos me parecen una ideaza súper original. El de chistorra especialmente es uno de mis favoritos.

Pues si estaban ricos. Nada fuera de este mundo la verdad. Pedimos huevos rotos normales y con frutos del mar (que traían 2 camarones prácticamente). No recomiendo el segundo. Los molletes sí muy ricos. Algo que está rico pero realmente no repetiría. Resumen: si vas a pedir que sean los molletes (porque aparte sale a mitad de precio)

Llegaba con expectativas a Los Rotos y me han decepcionado un poco. Pedí un mollete, que en teoría es su plato estrella y lo que les ha hecho conocidos, y decepcionaron. Lo pedí de queso azul y nueces y el relleno estaba bueno y venía mucha cantidad, pero el pan se deshace enseguida. Deben mejorar el pan del producto claramente. Por lo demás, el servicio muy bueno y el ambiente muy tranquilo.

Fuimos a los rotos bajo recomendación de una amiga, y la verdad estuvo bien para el rango de precios que manejan. Pedimos 4 molletes, curry de pollo, tika masala, boloñesa y huevos con jamón serrano. Los de pollo no estaban taaan buenos (les faltaba como más distinción entre ambos) El total favorito fue el de huevos y jamón, sencillo, al punto y bien logrado. Si buscas una opción buena y de muy buen precio, definitivamente agrégalo a tu lista.

I made a mistake an ordered a mollete that had chicken in it, I quickly went to the waiter and asked if it was possible to remove the chicken, he said this wasn’t an option but he would check if they hadn’t prepared it yet so I could choose something else from the menu. He came back saying it was made already and couldn’t help me. I understand I made the mistake but we saw no interest of him to be helpful! The dish was stuffed bread, so I think it was fairly easy to try to accommodate my request. Anyways, won’t be coming back as there’s ZERO vegan options 🥲

Para empezar, 16,30 EUR por un plato de "huevos rotos con jamón ibérico deluxe" que era de todo menos deluxe. Había varios trozos de cáscara de huevo de cierto tamaño (fotos) y los huevos, por supuesto, no eran fritos, eran a la plancha (dejad de aceptar huevos a la plancha como si fueran fritos, por favor). Precisamente por eso tenían manchas negras (en la foto sólo se ve parte), porque esa plancha no la han limpiado en mucho tiempo. Las patatas estaban negras del aceite, que tampoco habían cambiado desde que limpiaron la plancha por última vez, y obivamente sabían a aceite quemado. Cuando se lo dijimos al camarero de buenos modos, respondió: "Eso son accidentes que pasan. Eso es la cocina. Yo sólo soy camarero. Pero es que eso pasa mucho. Pero oye, yo soy sólo camarero". Las croquetas congeladas, y de boletus tenían lo mismo que el jamón de "ibérico". Si cobras lo que cobras por un jamón que dices que es ibérico y no lo es, estás estafando. El tinto de verano de cartón, y 4,60 por una "jarra" de cerveza (me pusieron una pequeña y después una algo más grande por el mismo precio, así que al menos en una de las dos lo hicieron mal). La sensación de indiferencia del camarero fue descomunal. Si yo fuera el dueño, cuidaría mucho a quién tengo al cargo de mi negocio.
