We shared some plates, all were tasty and well cooked, portions were a good size. Good choice of food, not only a ‘menu del dia’ (set menu typical in Spain for lunch with choice of options for starter, main and dessert, plus a drink). Staff friendly and helpful. It was busy, so things could take a while, but it’s central Madrid! Despite being busy we felt welcome and not rushed. Prices reasonable for the area and the quality.

Very laid back vibe at this tapas bars. There is limited seating upstairs so there is a possibility one might get seated downstairs. Our server was very friendly, attentive and helpful. Everything we ordered was delicious. Ensalada Caprese had fresh greens, creamy mozzarella, ripe tomatoes and black olives. The table mixta de quesos had a nice variety of cheeses from slightly mild and creamy to pungent and crumbly. Then there was a platter of Jamon Iberico. Thinly sliced and extremely flavorful.

So I got here right before close, and the bartender takes my order. It is my first time en España. So I didn’t have any expectations. I got 3 different tapas just because I had something else in mind, and the friedegg ham and fries was the best. The fried squid/calamari was my favorite just because of the taste. Most of the time in US calamari is fried so hard it tastes like rubbery onion rings. And then I got the spicy potato. TBH I could have came here and ate dinner just off this order. Thank you for giving me my first tapas experience (sorry I wish I got more pictures of the food LOL)

Our favourite place in Madrid! We spent 4 hours here enjoying the brilliant tapas, jugs of Tinto Verano and white wine and the buzzing atmosphere of the laneway. Can’t recommend this place enough - recommend getting the eggplant!

I had my first lasagna here and it was absolutely amazing! The beautiful lady who made me have lunch there suggested that I have the meal of the day which consisted of a dish each from 2 different menus, a drink and a cup of coffee or dessert. The meals were ready in no time and the lovely ladies were very attentive and brought the next dish as soon as you were done with one. I'd definitely recommend the lasagna cos I loved it. *Maybe a lil too much 😅*

Fui con amigos y optamos x el menú de 2 pasos con bebida y postre (o café). Me pareció todo muy rico y fresco. Las porciones normales y la atención de las mozas excepcional! Habría que mejorar un poco el baño de mujeres que está en el subsuelo.lo recomiendo . Fuimos 2 veces al mediodía y no nos decepcionó. La porción de salmón increíble.

Servicio bueno, aunque poco personal para aparcar tanto cliente. Comida normal, precios normales quizás algo elevado para alguna comida. Pedimos varias cosas para compartir ñ, se comunicamos para traerlo poco a poco y tuvieron el "fallo" de traerlo todo a la vez lo que hace no se pueda disfrutar bien de la comida y algo se pueda quedar frío. Pedimos huevos con jamón, croquetas, callos madrileños, tosta de salmón y otra de solomillo, ensaladilla rusa y patatas mixtas. Todo bueno, tostas son grandes, callo faltó algo más. Un sitio para comer salir del paso.

La comida y la atención fueron muy buenos. El lugar es agradable y acogedor para ir a comer sola. Hubo un error con el pedido, yo había aclarado que era una tapa de menor valor, pero me llevaron la de mayor valor. Aunque estuvo rica y pudo ser un malentendido, cómo turista queda uno con la sensación del engaño y no se siente bien.

El servicio fue muy amable y atento con nosotros. El ambiente es muy bueno, hay familias, parejas, amigos... La comida no estaba mal. Los huevos rotos con jamón muy ricos, el salmorejo muy bueno aunque es más un gazpacho, le falta un poco de mas pan para llegar a ser salmorejo pero estaba muy bueno con el granizado de albahaca. Las delicias de pollo muy buenas. El humus también muy rico. La cazuelita de setas y champiñones estaba espectacular. Las tapas son grandes. Cuando volvamos a Madrid iremos a tapear allí.

Nice small tapas restaurant. We ordered some patatas bravas and fried squid calamari. Patas bravas was ok, but fried squid calamari feeld like it wasn't cooked enough. Staff were really friendly, food and drink is quite reasonably priced. Patatas Bravas was good but could be better, croquettes were nice as well.

The meal was average, and waiting was slow and not very attending. All in all not the experience we had hoped for, considering the other reviews.

I had my first tapas here in Spain. I went here because the atmosphere looked alright. I had four tapas of which the croquettas were amazing and the patatas bravas was very mediocre because the herbs were not fresh and tasted bad. Service was hurried but alright: at first I did not get a menu, and had to scan the code. Then I did get a menu and they would take my order. The waitress was helpful and nice. The sangria was oké but I had better ones.

Acabamos de ir a comer , queríamos menú, esperamos una hora para unos huevos rotos y una ensalada , los huevos rotos eran 4 patatas con un huevo que no se podía romper pues estaba dura la yema, la ensalada 4 lechugas, con menos de medio tomate y un poco de atún. Para una hora de espera nos sorprendió la pobre cantidad y calidad , las camareras muy ocupadas nos atendieron muy bien pero si no puede el restaurante atender a tanta gente bien , mejor no aceptar más clientes. Nos acabamos yendo a otro sitio y pagamos medio menú por lo que en otro sitio es una tapa .

Menú del día de escasa calidad. El cocido completo muy flojito en líneas generales (solamente salvándose la sopa), unos callos poco generosos y un pescado insípido. Poca variedad de postres caseros. Servicio atento y amable.

Al principio nos han atendido muy bien y una vez sentados se olvidaron de nosotros, para pedir la bebida todo fue bien pero a la hora de pedir algo para picar se ha hecho pesado ya que hemos tenido que rogar un par de veces para que viniese el camarero. Queríamos comer allí pero tan solo pedimos unas patatas bravas por la espera tan exagerada que hemos tenido, solo teníamos ganas de salir de ahí.

Cosas a destacar que nos quedamos flipando, cuando nos sirvierion un mix de frutos secos con lacasitos y la poca calidad de la comida. Fuimos 8 personas nos dieron lugar en la planta de abajo de su establecimiento hasta ahí todo bien, pedimos todo lo que quisimos hasta que tardaron primero 30 min después pasaron 20, y la chica nos trajo dos tablas de queso a cortesía de la casa y nos dijo que no se nos había comentado de tardaría en traernos la comida,no sabemos la situación de la cocina pero subi varias veces y sacaban bastantes platos( en esas veces que subi había tres personas hablando en la barra que eran trabajadores del establecimiento) . Pedimos comida sencilla tapas cosas que no tardan mucho en hacerse unas tostadas y lo que veis en las fotos. Cuando después de 1h llega la comida estana todo muy seca con falta de sabor y muy duro entonces decidimos quejarnos a la encargada por la espera y la la calidade de la comida. No recomendable el sitio

Falta personal, habíamos hecho reserva y aun confirmandola x email no lo tenían registrado. Nos dieron mesa rápido. Pero el servicio súper lento. Entramos a las 14.45 y salimos a las 17h porque solo una persona servía el comedor de abajo. Falta personal y comida, porque ofrecen un menú que con tienen existencias. No volveré.

Very disappointed. Same menu you can find anywhere in Madrid, at the same prices but tasteless and with poor service. The fried goat cheese dish was not homemade and tasteless , the sauce for the patatas bravas was bland, and the calamari wasn't all cooked enough (and the dish was tasteless). No lemon for the calamari, the aioli sauce for the bravas was missing and tasteless when I requested it. The bread order was forgotten. I only took two bites of the calamari and left the rest. Inside the restaurant, with all the doors open, it was quite uncomfortable to eat because so cold, even with a coat and scarf (and we're talking about an evening with temperatures around 7 degrees Celsius). Bright white lights inside and a grimy atmosphere.
