I went with my wife and we really enjoy our first time eating in this place, everything was amazing and the best part of everything was the general manager NATHAN he makes our experience way better it was definitely more that I was expecting. The chicken was great very juicy and good a great taste , we are definitely coming back and I really recommend this place

Old school southern fried chicken the way it was meant to be done. Only place outside of Louisville, Kentucky I've seen with livers on the menu! Other delicious sides include fried ochra. Clean tables, great service. A real gem!

Great food! Super service, friendly staff. The spicy chicken strips are bomb. I love the fried okra, like mama makes! Mask policies posted everywhere, so wear one. Super clean inside,, takeout or drive thru only right now. Good food at a good price, you can't hardly beat it. 😁

Ordered twice from there today. Forgot fried okra the first time, and the 6 extra rolls I bought the second time. Service was great. Quality check was not on point today.

I love Chicken Express tea. It's not bitter! Normally, the Chicken and Rolls are great but the quality changes at times. We stop to get grandsons rolls twice a week or so. They no longer have the movie theater butter taste...ok, but sometimes they are doughy and raw and we won't give them to the boys that way, nor do we want them like that. We have to send them back. Today the Chicken was dripping in strange tasting oil and not sweet. That is unusual. The chicken is usually awesome. Nathan (manager) and Josh stand out! Excellent service! Please try to do better on consistency, other wise would have given 5 stars on the food.

Foods good but they are crazy unorganized. They mixed up three peoples orders while I was there. I ordered 20 minutes ahead online and they hadn’t even started on my order. Waited another 20 minutes.

Went thru drive thru today ordered four pieace tenders,mash potatos,and a roll and sweet tea... 1.Tea was on.point as usual 2.got four of the smallest tenders i have ever seen looked like half tenders.Also full of salt... 3.Mashed potatoes a quarter full in container. 4.Asked for roll not sure wha they gave me..flattest roll i have ever seen...dry tasted like a day old bread... Customer service was good...Im assuming who ever was cooking it was there first day...Yikes...

Besides getting 5 fried okra, half a roll, no jalapeño, and the smallest two pieces of chicken in the bunch it had decent flavor and crunch. Too bad I only got a $10 sample. I’m okay if I never visit again. Meanwhile my husband enjoys it

If you’re looking for bad food and even worse customer service, congratulations—you’ve found the perfect place. The manager clearly treats basic politeness like it’s an optional upgrade she refuses to purchase. From the moment I interacted with her, it felt like my mere presence was a personal inconvenience. Eye rolls, attitude, and zero professionalism came standard with the order. As for the food, it somehow managed to match her mood: cold, sloppy, and completely disappointing. It’s impressive how consistently awful the experience was—from the service to the meal itself. If the goal here is to make customers regret stopping in, the manager is doing an excellent job. I won’t be back, and I strongly suggest others save their time and money. And on top of that I’m tired having to come through the drive and always seem rats outside get that fix cause now I don’t know what I’m eating when I come there.
