My wife and I have been patronizing Kitty’s Cafe for years. It’s a busy little establishment for a reason. Good, comfort food at a reasonable price. The wait staff is awesome! “Mr. Kitty” is a character and fun to engage. Don’t be in a hurry, this is a community experience.

I would have truly loved this place as a teenager. Now that I'm retired, I can't eat nearly as much. At my age I recommend sharing a menu item - unless you want leftovers for another day 😁

Great service, plates are loaded, food is amazing and the atmosphere is nice. The prices are fair, especially with how much food they give you. You can easily share any plate here and still have leftovers.

Kitty’s Cafe is a breakfast treasure! Miss Kitty’s warm welcome and Jesse’s personal visit to our table made us feel like family. The biscuits and gravy? Phenomenal—fluffy, buttery, and packed with flavor. Cozy atmosphere, amazing food, and genuine people. A must-visit!

A quiet family owned establishment with good food and old town vibes. I had the breakfast burritos and the tortillas were amazing. They even cooked for me before i realized they weren't even open yet. Great job guys. 5 stars.

Fantastic breakfast! Had 2 eggs, hash browns, biscuit, and sausage (took home leftovers)… shared a ½ biscuit with sausage gravy with a friend… the BEST biscuits and sausage gravy I’ve ever had… chatted a bit with Ms. Kitty herself, she and her staff are kind and helpful… will definitely be back!

Took a mid day break and visited for lunch. The daily special included a chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak. We got one of each, and both were fork tender, fresh, and hot. The crust was flavorful and crispy, and you can't beat their price for the daily soecial. Will come back for sure.

BEST IN TEXAS.... I moved to Conroe, TX March 1st, by far and not even close my best meal I have had in Texas. If you live an 2 hours or less, this is a must STOP. I ordered the "Get it All Omelet" they brought it all, and a giant fluffy delicious biscuit.. As you can tell I did pretty good. It is very affordable also, tons of family's. Kitty's Cafe is a true, Texas Country Cafe. And I love it. You will hear the true Texas draw. Located in Magnolia, Texas which is a wonderful Texas country community where people look out after each other. I went to dine at Kitty's Cafe at noon on Monday, May 23rd. The place was hopping busy and the wait staff was moving like they had roller skates on. And as busy as they were, everything went smoothly. For lunch you can order off the menu, or select from the steam table 1 meat with Salad bar, two sides and a slice of cake for dessert, OR 1 meat with three sides and cake. All with a slice of country cornbread. Friends, the cornbread tasted like cake. Soft and sweet My meal of meatloaf, sweet potato casserole and steamed broccoli. We love Kitty's Cafe for breakfast but this time we ate lunch. It was just as good The food is delicious, consistently well-made, and everyone is so friendly. This is a great neighborhood place in a small town setting. There is nothing pretentious here, just good down home food and hospitality. I had fish and oysters, one of the Friday seafood specials. It came with a salad, french fries, hush puppies, fried green tomatoes, tea, and a slice of cake. It was so much tasty food at a good price.

Paula is so sweet and the service was amazing, the ranch and tartar sauce was delicious, the shrimp were big and crispy although the vein is still intact but it is safe after cooking so there's no issue there for me. The salad bar was good and the chairs were comfortable.

Ah, such a gem! This is where the locals go! Open for breakfast and lunch. I had the eggs and hash browns and it was delicious. Went a few minutes before closing time but was met with a smile and patience to finish my food. I would recommend you come and experience to local breakfast spot where everyone knows everyone!

VERY RUDE! Went in to get my entire store lunch and they were upset that I didn't call in my order because they were busy. We were not ordering off of a menu. We were ordering from the steam table with a variety of choices, so coming in to order should be understandable. She was rude from the very start to the very end. We are local people/business and we will take our need for lunch everyday elsewhere. Btw my Salisbury Steak was a frozen patty and I paid $11.00 for 1 patty and 2 small side portions. Sides were home cooked and delicious. That is why I gave an extra Star.

Well, past few times the service has been sub-par. This morning we waited about an hr to get the food but 5 other tables got service/food/ paid and left. Seems like all the white folks got service and we waited longer. Pancakes were stuck to the plate, cold and chewy. Toast was just bread. And waitress, I think we had one. She did bring us drinks after 15 mins. I guess that counts. Either way. Last time there.

Horrible experience, was told it would be 20 minutes for a to go order which turned out to be an hour long wait, food was lukewarm, multiple items in the order were wrong, have been going here for year but will not be going back after this, go to magnolia diner instead. Also we got some cobbler which was completely raw!
