I'm so happy we found Dante's! I am vegetarian and gluten free, which makes it tough to find a nice place to enjoy dinner. Dante's offers gluten free eggplant parm and gluten free raviolis. Their sauce is really good and my kids loved their pizza as well. We will definitely be back!

I took my Volleyball team there Sunday to celebrate a great Rec season. They are extremely accommodating and let us shuffle tables to make everyone fit. Pizza was fantastic as always and we had a great time. Highly recommend.

Reliable delicious Italian food. Always fresh and perfectly prepared. Classic New York style Italian, they have every dish and excellent pizza. I have been going to Dante's for over thirty years. The prices are reasonable. Josephine runs a classic NY style comfortable trattoria with an on-time takeout counter that seems to always be staffed by pleasant hard working young people. Get some when you are hungry!!

I was very happy dining at this restaurant. First time here and will be coming back for sure. This place makes me feel like I am eating Italian food in the bronx again. Large portions, family run, clean and good service. Very hidden from the main road but also worth the trip!

It's so funny to see the "people" with such negative reviews are the most nastiest people of all!! They feel the need to complain and boy that one is known to complain!! Nosey body!!

Ordered online and manager was clearly in the background hovering over the person taking my order. I could hear her repeating all that was said. When I got my food 90% of it was not correct. Just let the employee do her job.

Ordered delivery. Took close to an hour to arrive without an ETA. Ordered the fried mozzarella appetizer and got something a little unusual and not what was expected. Pizza was good though.

I ordered online through there website received confirmation then received a second email saying they received the order. We waited a little over an hour figuring it was Friday so they were busy. After calling to see where it was they then proceeded to lie and say oh we just received the order. At this point I should have canceled the order but I did not. So they got the order there 35 minutes after the call and then the soda we ordered was wrong pasta was dry and bland. Will not be ordering from there again.

The owner’s attitude just casts a negative aura all over this restaurant. What an unfriendly and harsh woman; go somewhere where the food is better and at least you’ll be appreciated as a customer

Went there last night for my daughter's birthday we all ordered chicken it was six of us we all ordered chicken two chicken parm one chicken franchise one chicken fingers the chicken franchise was horrible I told the owner I believe my name is Josephine not sure but she started giving me a big argument telling me how great it that everybody else never has problems blah blah blah she really didn't want to take it off the menu but I insisted and she did but what a terrible attitude which unfortunately she always has anyway and let me tell you don't ever ask for extra bread that sets her off she's very stingy add the sauce was sour and tangy burnt our stomachs

Ordered a large plain pie and was asked right away to pay. I was then told the pizza would be ready in 10 minutes. I arrived 10 minutes later and was asked to pay second time. Upon my original entry, no other customers was asked to pay for their orders except for myself. Mind you, I was the only person there of African American descent. I suggest people of my nationality to spend their money at the Trattoria of Carmel instead of Mahopac, the customer service in Carmel is much appreciated!!!
