Durante nuestra estancia en Málaga, este sitio se convirtió rápidamente en nuestra parada diaria para el desayuno. Está justo fuera del bullicio del centro, en una esquina muy acogedora, perfecta para comenzar bien el día. Los precios son muy razonables para la calidad que ofrecen, el servicio es rápido y todo llega fresco y bien preparado. El ambiente es relajado y el equipo que atiende es excelente, cada uno con su propio estilo. Un reconocimiento especial para Paula, siempre con una sonrisa. ¡Sin duda, la chica más amable de Málaga! En resumen: un sitio encantador para desayunar rico, rápido y con una atención de primera. ¡Volveremos sin dudarlo en nuestra próxima visita!

Great place for tapas and both continental or international breakfast! Great food and friendly service! We went there once a day especially for breakfast during our stay as close to our hotel and it never disappointed us! Delicious fresh food, big portions and affordable prices and most customers are locals too though there are also foreign. The atmosphere is very nice, cosy and lively. There are seats inside and outside and you can pay by cash or card. I do recommend it! Enjoy ^^

Nice local experience! We took our coffee and breakfast there. We took toast of turkey and cheese, the famous bread and tomato sauce and a crepe. All delicious! The prices are cheap and reasonable!

Really a nice restaurant/cafeteria. Interesting designed bar. Big outdoor seatings under big trees, it makes the northerly tables unusually dark and "cozy", sunny on the west side. Close to the old bull arena.

Tostada is one of my favourite Spanish breakfast dish, with olive oil and smashed tomato as base. Wherever I go, I am trying it. In Málaga cafeteria Flor was the place to try tostada and it was just ok. Tomato and olive were not amazing, a little bland and this has to be good to make delicious tostada. Personally I like the bread more toasted 😃 decent, but I ate much better ones. Great service and nice location.

a local cafe serving tasty food without the restaurant start times at night! As a solo visitor I was warmly welcomed, sat down to a wonderful refreshing sangria & watched the locals come & go. A fair price for a hot spaghetti dish & a coffee to finish. A bit understaffed but they were doing their best. Probably avoid on bullfight days as the stadium is close by. Recommended otherwise.

The employees are superb. They're super nice and accommodating. They offer authentic spanish food from breakfast to dinner and the price are really affordable. Located besides the plaza del toro. Most of the local people go here.

Fuimos a tapear un grupo grande. Enseguida nos montaron una mesa. El personal simpático y por faena. Las tapas había de todo un poco. Los calamares y las bravas y patatas con alioli no me gustaron mucho. Pero las croquetas de cocido y las albóndigas en salsa muy buenas.

Cafetería de toda la vida junto a la plaza de toros. Dispone de una gran terraza con muchas mesas. Carta variada con muchos platos para compartir o comer individualmente. El servicio deja mucho que desear y algo más de limpieza se agradecería.

La ubicación es ideal, pero hay un camarero (no el señor más mayor) que no quiere atender y encima es desagradable. Por lo que veo en las reseñas es su práctica habitual. Te ve y te rehúye constantemente aunque no haya absolutamente nadie y no esté realizando ninguna otra tarea. Se hace el loco, como si no te viera. Cuando no le queda de otra, encima es antipático y pone malas caras, no contesta ni el saludo. Hay veces que me desespero y me acabo yendo sin consumir. Well, I have mixed feelings about this place! We came here early in the morning to have a small brealfast and coffee. POSITIVE: The young waiter was very nice and attended us immediately. We were served breakfast and coffee quite quickly. The place feels very original as it's frequented mostly by Spanish people. The Pitufo and the coffee were also good. NEGATIVE: I'm learning Spanish and ordered in Spanish as well. I might not speak it perfectly, but I do understand quite a lot! When I asked the elderly man behind the bar if I could pay, he continued talking to another guest in Spanish and made some jokes about having to deal with tourists. He even continued aping me for saying thank you when handing me the receit! This behaviour is absolutely humiliating and unaccepatble! It felt as if they tried to cast tourists away by beeing unpolite. So if you're not from Málaga, better stay away.

This is not a place for tourists. I walked in, greeted the waiter and explained that I do not speak Spanish well, though I tried to greet him in Spanish. I did not understand his reply, so I asked again in English. He gave me a very unpleasant look and, when I said “English, please?”, he raised his voice at me and: “Español, please.” That should have been the moment I walked out. I should have left, but I was hungry, thirsty and too tired to look for another place. When I asked second waiter for an ashtray, clearly enough in Spanish, she pretended not to hear me. When I repeated it in English and said “ashtray,” she replied that she didn’t have any. It was obvious she simply did not want to deal with me. The whole atmosphere was strange and hostile, especially towards someone visiting alone. The food itself was average at best. The pil-pil prawns were fine, nothing special. The salmon salad was very poor. The tomato was taken straight from the fridge and felt almost frozen. The only thing that was actually good was the coffee. I cannot recommend this place. There is an unpleasant energy here, directed specifically at tourists. I behaved respectfully, as I always do, and there was no reason to treat me with such attitude. It is unrealistic to expect every visitor to speak perfect Spanish in a city like Málaga, especially in a restaurant near the coastline. If tourists are such an inconvenience, perhaps the owners should reconsider their business location. I regret not leaving immediately. I hope this review helps someone avoid the mistake I made.

Absolutely terrible experience at Cafeteria Flor this morning. We came in for breakfast and were completely ignored for over 25 minutes — not even handed a menu. I raised my hand several times trying to get a waiter’s attention, and nobody bothered to acknowledge us. Meanwhile, Spanish customers who arrived well after us were greeted and served right away. Seriously? When we finally managed to place our order, the food came after about 10 minutes — fine. But again, when we wanted to pay, we had to practically chase the staff down just to get the bill. Not a single waiter looked our way or showed the slightest interest in helping us unless we made a scene. It honestly felt like they just didn’t care about serving anyone who isn’t local. The whole experience was incredibly disrespectful and unwelcoming. If you’re not Spanish, don’t expect decent service here. Ridiculous.

Should not even get 1 star! Asked the waiter if we could sit down for dinner and he said the kitchen closes in 5 minutes. So we said if we order now is it ok? He replied the kitchen closes in 5 minutes. We got him to take our order and he was not happy. The food arrived and it was cold, with some of the pastas bravas still frozen! Worst experience ever in Malaga. We come here twice a year but I will never set foot in this place again.

We spent 25 minutes waiting for a waiter to turn up, apparently it was too much of an expectation... When I went in to pay for the drinks, they did not even bother to apologize. Won't return here. Luckily there are plenty of other, better places in a short walk's distance.
