We had dinner here twice. It is a really nice quality restaurant. We ate inside as it was dinner. Very good menu and friendly helpful service. All of the food we had was perfectly cooked and served. Very good wine list, and some wines by the glass. An all round good experience, hence the second visit. It was very busy on Saturday night and glad we booked a table.

I've visited this place twice, and both times the food was excellent and the service was very friendly. It can be a bit crowded, and you sometimes have to wait a while for a table, but it's worth it.

This is now my new local. Simple and very good. I only had a couple of beers and the classic pulpa with potatoes and olive oil. Very tasty. I'm looking forward to trying other dishes on the menu 😋

Great local find in a less popular part of the city. We ordered boquerones in olive oil and vinegar and then a seafood paella. Very good service despite limited English, and food was delicious.

Very cozy local restaurant with good service and very good quality food, we came back 3 times to eat here:) I dont know the name of waiter, but he spokes good in English and he was very attentive and super professional. Scallops with shrimps in tomato sauce was delicious, potatoes bravas was good also, fish soup very interesting never tried nothing similar before. Highly recommend!

Really lovely people greeting and serving. The place was empty when we arrived around 13:30. We had to wait about 25min for the paella but they told us in advance. Prices are reasonable, I think it was €11 pp for vegetable paella. The bread rolls are reaaaaally yummy and hot, you do pay extra though.

We were 7 people from Milan and we happily eat at this Restaurant on Sunday the 3rd october during our holiday of 4 days in Malaga. The entrances were excellent: Hamon iberico, Soup of vongole (fresh) and good olives. The Paella of seafruits was exquisite and the best we ever eat in Spain! The portions were big and the wine wery good. The dessert of handmade cakes were superb! As well the ratio quality/price convenient! We 'll come back again on our next trip!!

Don't bother trying to eat in the overcrowded old part of the town- visit this gem of a place where the service is friendly, the food is well prepared and excellent value for money. Try the oxtail!

El ambiente es bonito, como de taberna andaluza de siempre… pero la comida… mejorable. Pedimos unas berenjenas con miel que eso sí que estaba muy muy rico pero la paella de verduras estaba bastante mejorable. No estaba uniformemente hecha, con lo que estaba un poco dura por unas partes y demasiado caldosa por otras y le faltaba sabor. El trato muy correcto y agradable.

Lugar céntrico amplio y con camareros atentos y educados. Las patatas bravas buenas y como a mí me gustan, picantes. Las ensaladas,mixta y de pimientos brasa. Mejor la de pimientos. La gamba plancha, saladita y de buena calidad, aunque pequeña, pero a 16€ la ración completa, no lo veo mal. Los boquerones al limón originales y bien elaborados En general se trata de un restaurante de cocina de proximidad con productos frescos y de la zona. Se merece un sobresaliente.

Taberna malagueña de toda la vida. Tapas riquísimas y precio muy correcto. La ensaladilla rusa y los boquerones al limón, muy recomendables. El vino verdejo estaba caliente y bastante caro por la calidad.

Buena comida. Las paellas las preparan al momento, tardan uno 25-30 minutos en servirla. Pedimos también huevos rotos con jamón y estaban muy buenos. El servicio bueno y el ambiente es muy acogedor. Sitio recomendable, bastante cerca del centro pero sin aglomeraciones.

Local restaurant for local people only well that's what it felt, food slammed down on table, asked for olives and told they where sold out 🤔🤔 asked for our table given one of the barrels which would be better suited for drinks and everyone else around us had a table with the the table set and plates and cutlery it was very obvious we where treated as foreigners so much so as to when we where ordered it was seen as too much. We had been travelling by motorbike on a long journey from Granada in the cold and where very hungry. Waiter completely uninterested in us. Food was good though nice flavour and traditional would return during a quiet time as felt that would have a better time . 3 euros for one anchovy was a joke though was very nice. The fish broth soup was tasty and different. Paella was good and big though was lacking toppings

Hemos ido recomendados y la verdad no ha sido como esperábamos. El servicio no fue tan satisfactorio como nos imaginábamos. La paella sin sabor y con unos pocos mariscos. Las frituras que pedimos eran escasas Nos apena nuestra experiencia ya que íbamos con una espectativa que no pudo ser.

Food was ok, but service pretty awful. One waiter told a german group that they had no free tables when they totally did. Pretended he couldnt hear them after until the manager finally seated them. If you're not Spanish your service is going to be very rude. Strangely aggressive vibe. A lot of similar reviews being posted recently, which I unfortunately didn't see before I went.

The anchovies in vinegar were nice ( not homemade) and the paella was Absolutely disgusting Tasteless and very salty..

Ordered paella which took a long time to arrive. The centre of the pan was inedible and burnt and the rest was dried out. The waiter just shrugged when we told him this. Wouldn’t recommend

No nos han atendido bien. Las raciones de risa, no come ni un niño con eso. Las anillas de calamar las he contado con los dedos de la mano. La paella mala. Pobre, escasa, sin sabor y con pocos mariscos y de los pocos, la mitad sin abrir. No lo recomiendo ni volveré a ir. Lo siento.

Solamente debo decir, que la educación del servicio es muy deficiente en este lugar. Nadie tiene la culpa y menos unos clientes, que el camarero con perilla no este contento con su trabajo. A partir de este dato lo demás no se puede comentar, ni la comida, ni la decoración, etc. No pienso volver a éste lugar.

In this restaurant, everything you order as boiled or grilled arrives fried. Even if you clearly specify this when ordering, you will still receive fried food and you will still be charged for it at the end. I also ordered a soup that was clearly listed as not spicy on the menu, but it arrived extremely spicy. I did not touch it at all. When we asked for the bill and explained that the soup was inedible due to being spicy (something not mentioned anywhere on the menu), they still charged us for it. In the end, we paid for below-mediocre food. The sangria was very good, but that’s the only positive thing. Do not come here for food. From the prawns to the chicken, everything was disappointing. The chicken was raw in the middle and soaked in oil, even though it was supposed to be grilled. Very poor food quality and no accountability.

Unacceptable and Disgusting Experience I am writing this review with immense disappointment and a strong warning to others. My experience here was absolutely unacceptable. I discovered a cockroach in the Sangria Carafe that was served to our table. What followed was even more appalling. Their initial reaction was to hide the cockroach instead of apologizing. They tried to quietly take the carafe away, as if we hadn't seen it. After I said that this was unacceptable, they finally called their manager. The manager did apologize to us and the meal was complimentary, but the entire experience was so disturbing that I could not recommend this place to anyone. The lack of hygiene and the staff's initial reaction were completely inexcusable.

I'm writing this review to share a shocking and deeply unpleasant experience at your restaurant. My friends and I had dinner here and, unfortunately, discovered a cockroach in our carafe of sangria. ​When we quietly brought this to a staff member's attention, their initial reaction was not one of concern or immediate apology. Instead, they seemed focused only on removing the sangria from our bill. There was no real apology or acknowledgment of the serious health and safety issue. ​After we expressed our disappointment and explained that this wasn't just about the bill, the staff's attitude shifted. We were eventually given an apology and told our entire meal would be complimentary. While we appreciate this gesture, it doesn't change the fact that we were served a beverage containing an insect, and the initial reaction from the staff was dismissive. ​This kind of incident is unacceptable, and the way it was handled was extremely poor. It's a shame because the food itself was okay, but the lack of professionalism and hygiene is a major concern. We will not be returning.

The restaurant over all vibe was ok, but the waiters doesn t speak english and they felt rushed. We felt like we were not welcome there. The cutlery was thrown on the table and we were also rushed to order. After the food has arrived one plate which has some pork with vegetables and fried potates was half cooked and half raw. We told the waiter and he doesn t even apologized but he didn t put it on the receipt which was nice.
