Fantastic service and a fun, lively atmosphere! The appetizers and oysters were outstanding. The coconut shrimp were the best I’ve ever had. I had the mahi mahi and enjoyed it. The baked potato was surprisingly incredible, and the vegetables were super flavorful too. We skipped dessert because we were stuffed, but everything coming out looked tempting. I’ll definitely be back.

Girls night out dinner and we weren't disappointed. The atmosphere was relaxed, food (fish and chips) was good, drinks were perfect. Our server was attentive. This was my second time here. I'll most likely be returning.

Solo traveler wanting a great west coast raw experience. Oysters were fantastic. I ordered another 6 of the Hama Hama (light and sweet, low salinity,WA) as i am used to the briney NE ones. Scallops, delecate and garnished well. Same for salmon and the tuna dish. Fresh, nothing with aged fish taste. Roasted artichoke was delicious and fun to eat, the sauce was reminiscent of japanese white sauce. Felt the need to actually get a meal. Lobster roll was decent, any Northeaster would say otherwise (sorry) - i did just scrape the insides out after the first bite - (limited gastro room).Clam chowder was really good...very clammy and didn't get lost with the vegetables. Drinks...oh...each cocktails was skillfully made and presented (i was lucky to witness). Water glass never half empty and literally every employee was there to work together. Happy, helpful and all appeared to really love their job! Wonderful experience and location! Will definitely be back when i visit in a few months!!! ❤️

Fishbar never disappoints! This spot is such a gem in Manhattan Beach , the seafood is always fresh and perfectly cooked. The fish tacos and grilled salmon are absolutely amazing, packed with flavor and quality you can taste. The vibe is laid-back yet lively, and the girls who work there are so kind, attentive, and full of great energy. You can feel the friendly beach spirit in the air. We were visiting from out of State we had lunch for my friend's birthday. Everything was superb and wonderful. We were so happy we came during the day so it was not busy and we were able to get in. I had the lobster bisque a fancy drink and a whole pound of crab legs. I was only sad that they didn't have king crab, but that was fine.

We had an amazing dinner. It’s rare for a restaurant to deliver on all fronts the way FISHBAR accomplished. Service was excellent, our server Alisa clearly knew the menu and made insightful suggestions to us. She knew exactly which drinks could be made non-alcoholic, for example. The virgin margarita and virgin mojito she suggested were both excellent. All dishes were served promptly. And it was all delicious. 1. Best clam chowder I’ve ever had. No bacon (which Alisa knew immediately when asked), perfect size (deeply satisfying but not overwhelming), and the bread bowl was superbly chewy and crispy. I demolished it, no regrets. 2. Best oysters I’ve had outside of France. Big plump oysters, fresh and delightful. Great price during happy hour. 3. Husband said the Mahi Mahi tacos were delicious. Tender delicate fish, healthy and fresh. He said it reminded him of the fish tacos we had in Mexico. Ambiance was also very comfortable. Good blend of aesthetics and function, thoughtfully done. Snug layout but still easy to navigate around the tables. Bathroom was proper clean and smelled nice. Sending our compliments to the chef, bartender, server, and owner.

Great place about 2 blocks from the beach. Swordfish, brussel sprouts and Mac and cheese were delicious, but the clam chowder was the show stopper with sourdough bread. I really enjoyed everything and was super impressed by the Maine lobster that my companion ordered. The servicenwas fast and friendly. The place gets incredibly busy for dinner, so arrive early and enjoy the happy hour specials. I absolutely will be back.

We had a great lunch at Fishbar in Manhattan Beach – definitely one of our favorites from the whole trip! The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, and the seafood was incredibly fresh and flavorful. Everything we ordered was delicious. What really made it special was the amazing service – our servers were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared that we had a good time. Huge thanks to the team for making us feel so well looked after! If you’re in Manhattan Beach and love seafood, this place is a must.

I love this place my daughter told me about it and I have to go at least 2 to 4 times monthly. I want to cry thinking about how fresh and friendly this place is🥹. Very diverse and they have parking you don't have to pay for across the street. Seafood soup, lobster bisque soup with sour dough bread is my favorite, the cole slaw and the happy hour drinks NEVER disappoint. It's 5 minutes from the beach. The waitress are so nice they make you always feel like tipping which you should at any well restaurant. I have nothing ever bad to say about this place. Oh and the lobster will always have you wanting it each time. I also had lobster tacos which was great. A lull but salt. But I ate them anyways. And their restroom smell of fresh basil. I almost left my phone in there cause it smelled so nice, fresh and pleasant😩🤦🏾‍♀️😁

What a truly enjoyable restaurant. Genuine and sincere all around: the food, the service and the ambience. It's a great spot for enjoying yourself at the raw bar of sports bar by yourself, date night, dinner with friends, family dinner (with kids), etc. They have a pretty extensive menu with weekly night special. I contemplated giving them 4 or 5 stars but decided to go with the 5 star rating because they are not pretentious and their food is decent value for good quality seafood. First of all, picked Wednesday evening dinner to check out the snow crab weekly special day (20% off wine bottle). You get a pound of snow crab with 2 sides ($2 to sub in house salads and soups) for $39.99. The crab was great the saw it was naturally prepared, didn't even need the butter. The side options are extensive, especially when you can sub in 3 types of salad and soups. Picked the mashed potato, which was amazing and ceasar salad. We also enjoyed the Happy Hour menu. The oysters and Peruvian scallops were fresh and the coconut shrimp and fried calamari were lightly battered and well-seasoned. Also we had amazing service. Friendly and positive energy from our main server and the staff who bussed our plates were professional and efficient. Definitely coming back to try other things on the extensive menu (sandwiches, grilled seafood plates, sides, soups and salad) and they also do brunch.

Looking for a seafood restaurant near el segundo, this is it. Better make a reservation prior to arriving as it’s busy and not too big. We had half dozen oysters and those were fresh, perfect size and tasty! I had the fish n chips with a side of lobster Mac and it was good. Glad I chose the fish n chips as main entry as the Mac was good but not great. My wife got the seared tuna dinner and it was also very tasty. Good portion size, slightly pricey but normal for seafood. $30 to $40 range for normal entrees. She got a perfectly chilled dry vodka martini and I got a Chardonnay and it was great.

Went for the happy hour Even though they’ll forget, highly recommend asking for the complimentary sourdough bread (so good) The happy hour portions are small, but fairly priced. Really recommend the Mac n cheese and coconut shrimp. Would skip the salmon bites (flavorless) and oysters (tiny and no brine).

We were seated promptly, I was NOT pleased with seating but it was crowded and busy. There were many booths and a row of tables (bar height) in the middle of the floor which is where we were seated. Due to the height of stools, seating was very uncomfortable. We were given menus right away by a very friendly server and our order was taken as soon as we were ready to order. Food arrived very fast and my fish was served piping hot as were the fries. Cole slaw was creamy and slightly sweet, very good though I don't usually eat cole slaw. Fries had the perfect amount of salt. The fish coating (cod) was crispy with a soft flesh. We received warm sourdough bread with butter while waiting for food. All portion sizes were ample. I thought it was a little pricey but not surprised due to the location of the restaurant. There was seating at the bar. Not sure about drinks orders as we didn't have any alcohol.

Great little seafood spot. Fast and friendly service, beautifully presented dishes and pretty good flavors. I wish the Rockefeller oysters were bigger and I would salt the rice patty in the crab cake, which was otherwise flavorful. Drinks could have been better but the Chilean sea bass was excellent.
