THIS location was fabulous! We've been to other locations but this one, by far, is outstanding. First, the doors and floors were clean - great 1st impression. The servers were outgoing and friendly. The cashier double checked to make sure we had everything. The food was excellent! While eating, I noticed that there were no customers in line. Typically, that's when employees start goofing off (at other locations). But here, I observed employees working harder! Cleaning everything, I mean EVERYTHING! Rolling out the stainless steel tables to wash the floors, cleaning the glass shield, wiping down all the counters while other employees restocked and cleaned/replaced bins and prepared orders for pickup. A few more customers came in and they were greeted and served promptly. The entire staff worked so well and seamlessly together - not 1 slacker! No loud talking or goofing off. Very professional. It was such a pleasure to see younger people taking such pride in their work. Five stars to all the employees working on School Street, Mansfield, MA on Sunday evening, 5/9/21. 😊
Small portion sizes. Staff often confused and flustered. Cashier counted and charged us for 4 bowls when we clearly only had 3. Service was extremely slow. Better training is required at this location.
Tasty food good friendly counter help. But we caught the place right after a bus load came through.Staff did not have time apparently to clean up. Messy tables, trash full, no napkins in dispensers, straws strewn about. No towels in bathroom.
I’ve been going here for over 10 years since when did Chipotle become such a scam. The decided to give me a side of guac with only half of the guac in it. What am I paying $3 for. I paid extra guac so just give me my guac. And here’s the kicker. They gave stale chips to go along with it. Thanks Chipotle. The we have the bowl and they decide to give me half portions for meat. I’m paying you for food why are you rationing the portions for me. And when I as for a little more meat so it’s an actual portion they ask me “double meat”. NO I WANT AN ACTUAL FULL PORTION NOT THIS HALF BS PORTION YOU ARE GIVING ME. Fix your stuff Chipotle or else I’ll need to find another place to go to.
Chipotle is one of my favorites and go to places for quick delicious food. The mansfield location is one of two that are about the same distance from my house. Unfortunately more often than now when I have ordered from the mansfield location there have been a few consistent problems. First and foremost the rice is almost always undercooked. It is still hard and crunchy. Essentially making my burrito inedible. This is the 5th time its happened to me in the past 2 months out of 8 visits. It is about a 30 minute round trip there and back, so a complete pain to have to go back and i have now paid for 4 burritos that I had to throw away. I almost always order ahead and more often than not my food isn't ready until a minimum of 10 minutes after the chosen time for it to be ready. And I always order atleast 20 if not 30 minutes ahead of time, so its not like I order a 7pm pick up at 649. I order a 7pm between 630-640. This isn't the end of the world to me as they are often very busy, but it is very frustrating when I arrive to find my food is not ready and they are not at all busy. Third issue is the amount of food they put in the burrito. I always order extra rice yet i often end up with an extremely skinny burrito. I do not get beans or alot of the other offered toppings, but even still quite a few times I've gotten a burrito that resembles something from the taco bell dollar menu more than a true burrito from a place like Chipotle. And compared to the burrito I get from other locations with the same exact ingredients included they are consistently 30%+ smaller from this location. I hate that I am writing this as I said Chipotle is my favorite, but after this last trip I will no longer be visiting the mansfield school st location.
First of all the most important thing to address is that this location is severely understaffed. The place was packed as getting food was not efficient as there was not enough workers. Everything was backed up. Like more than a quarter of the menu was out of order, including important proteins like carne asada. The lemonades etc stand was empty and also the ice was empty when I tried filling up my drink. Bathrooms were disgusting. Tables were messy. I wouldn’t put it on the workers, but more on the management. This location needs more employees. The employees that did make my bowl were good on portions and were friendly. I don’t know if it was a bad day and many called out, but it was just not a good experience .

Seems they always forget something in your take out or DoorDash order. And they don’t solve refunds over the phone ?. Sometimes they do good. But most of the time items in the order are forgotten. Please pay more attention to the orders coming in.
The menu board and on Chipotle website shows an extremely generous amount of rice and other things. Basically, the bowl is full. When you go this store and every other one's I've been to, they skimped out and it's frustrating. You asked for extra rice and they insult you by adding table-spoon amount. I don't give up there, I ask again. But the point is, is chipotle ripping people off intentionally?
I've lost count how many times I've walked in there and they don't have change or B they're not accepting cash. What is the manager doing because all they're doing is making problems for their employees on the floor. How can you not accept cash at 1:30 on a Friday afternoon.
Absolutely ridiculous experience. I paid $15 for a bowl that was barely half full. When I politely asked for more rice, I was told “no, that’s all we have”—while the employee was literally standing in front of a full container of rice. The attitude was rude and dismissive, like I was asking for something outrageous instead of the most basic part of the meal. This location never has anything ready. No lettuce, food constantly “not cooked yet,” and somehow they’re always out of essentials during normal hours. If you’re going to charge premium prices, at least serve a full bowl and don’t lie to customers’ faces. I used a gift card here and genuinely feel like it was wasted. I wish I could get a refund because this was one of the worst Chipotle experiences I’ve had. Do better.
This Chipotle is a zero star experience, and I’m tired of acting like it’s anything else. Sometimes you just have to call a failure what it is, and this place is exactly that. I kept coming back out of convenience, telling myself it would get better, but this location has proven one thing over and over again. It doesn’t care. Not about service, not about food quality, and definitely not about the customers who still try to give it a chance. I walked in at 7:30 pm on November 28th and waited close to twenty minutes while the crew behind the counter acted like they were at a private hangout. They were dapping each other up, touching their hair with gloves on, laughing, zoning out, and doing everything except their job. One guy even had his hat pulled down so low he was actively avoiding eye contact with every single customer, like acknowledging people was too much to ask. Watching him stand there dodging responsibility was honestly embarrassing. I asked for extra rice, something simple, and got treated like I asked for their entire inventory. The second guy looks at the first and says it’s too much rice, then stares me down like I’m the issue. He wrapped the burrito with zero effort and dropped it in the bag like he couldn’t wait to shove me out the door. That’s the level of pride here. None. It’s the bare minimum done below minimum standards. This place doesn’t feel like a restaurant. It feels like a team going through the motions, disconnected, untrained, and uninterested. A location that failed to build any kind of standard and now just coasts on customers being too tired or too busy to go somewhere else. And I’m done pretending that’s acceptable. This is a failure of management, a failure of pride, and a failure of basic service. If the owner actually gives a damn, this is the moment to wake up. Because right now this Chipotle is the definition of zero stars
This chipotle has gone completely down hill. It used to be my favorite around however I went last night and it was absolutely disgusting. I saw a worker stick his bare hand in a tub of chicken behind the counter and then proceeded to eat it. So unhygienic and overall just poor quality and service. I will not be coming back here again.
This location is a disaster! The dining room is a mess tonight, Cashier is yawning at 8:30pm standing behind the register waiting for another slow POS transaction to occur. After waiting in line I learn there is no rice or guacamole... what? Meanwhile three employees, sitting at the high-top eating and chatting it up. I should start short selling this place.
I’ve been coming to this chipotle since High School. Ever since then it’s gotten progressively worse. The level of carelessness, filth and cross contamination that happens here on a daily basis is out of hand… Dine at your own risk! I wanted to give an update to my review that I made four years ago since then I have not seen this place recover in fact it is gotten significantly worse. It’s understaffed the level of filth, cross-contamination, and uncleanliness is actually mind-boggling. You can tell an employee I want one scoop of rice and then like a zombie scoop two. You can ask for double meat and they’ll give you a portion of single meat and charge you for double no wonder why chipotle’s stock is plummeting. This company needs to figure out how to better manage their restaurants. Keep them more hygienic and actually learn how to portion things correctly. I’ve updated my review from three stars to a big fat one, and if I could give it zero, I would.
On August 20th of 2025 I got the salad and burrito. The person who packed the order put the salad upside down and on my way home ( which was about 15 minutes) the brown bag got soaked and ripped. The juice from the salad got on my clothes and on the sit of the car and other places. By the time I came home the salad looked terrible and I had to wash my car’s interior. The person who packed my order obviously did not care about her customer and had no sense of responsibility. The next day I called the customer service. As of now I have no response. It was horrible experience.
When it's almost $20 per person, you should get a fair portion. Guac is now half filled despite still costing $3+ extra. Manager double downed and said that's all it's supposed to be filled to. Longtime Chipotle customer, but it seems like I'm going to have to completely avoid the chain nowadays with this new direction and tragic declining customer service.
We have come here for years and tried to ignore the steady decline of food and general cleanliness, but it’s official: this place sucks. Not only did they go heavy on the items I asked to be light, they didn’t even give me enough rice to feed the birds outside. I was able to finish these tacos in less than 10 bites, and I’m not a pelican. To hide your mistakes with an obnoxious amount of cheese that I asked there to be light of, is even worse. I have attached photos of my order and what I got. The staff don’t clean the tables or do the garbage cans in any reasonable time frame, and then argue with me when I ask for a towel from the red sanitation bucket. If you’re not going to do your job before I arrive, don’t argue with me for wanting to eat on a table that isn’t covered burrito guts, and then take your time coming to clean tables. For as much money as we have spent at this place over the years, someone needs to send a district manager to clean this place up. I’ll give props to the cooks preparing food for the food line. When I actually get served enough of their food to eat it, it’s good.
This has to be one of the most poorly managed chiptole’s of all time. There is constantly zero utensils or napkins, food on every table, overflowing trash. It is disgusting inside. The chairs are filthy so you don’t even want to sit here. The food is ok, but not as good as other ones I’ve been too.
Little portioning received despite selecting "extra". Ordered steak on both entree's on the Chipotle app - as well as lettuce - and received only rice on one and fajitas on the other. It wasn't peak hours and I wasn't notified if there wasn't any steak left. Terrible service and portioning. Least that could've happened was upon arrival I could've been offered a different protein option.... IF none was left for my order. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. This is not the first time this has happened. This trend doesn't make the place look good at all for any customer. Very unfortunate. :(
I usually have a good meal from this place however someone put only a portion of the amount that was supposed to be in a bowl in and for $10 that doesn't seen fair to take out some of the food for the same price. Whoever was making it I'd say they'd have to hire someone else if that's what's gonna happen.
No, I haven’t taken a bite yet. The serving sizes they give isn’t enough for my 6 year old sister. This place has gone down hill fast. I didn’t know we were rationing food we live in America the serving sizes should be double what they just gave me. I’m simply walking out if I get this little food again. Chipotle management must be super tiny if they think this is feeding a normal sized man.
I wish I could give 0 stars. I got an order of large guacamole and a steak burrito with extra everything yesterday and there was barely any meat in it for what I paid also went to dip a chip in my guacamole and realized it was hard as a rock so I took a fork to it and saw that someone put two halfs of a hard avocado not blended up then topped them over with a little bit of the actual guacamole to make it look like it was full I only got one scoop of actual guacamole and the rest was a full on avocado peeled that wasn’t ripe and some cheese mixed into it. Why was there even cheese inside it? Everything cost me so much and i feel as though I was ripped off like how do you think no one would notice that you did that this was done on purpose because I’ve seen them scoop the guac into the cup before so someone purposely ripped me off there is no way you didn’t know. I will never go here again and I will tell everyone about this situation. I’ve never in my life seen such a thing. How lazy can you really be?
