Just moved into the area and thought I give Applebees a visit. The bar here is off great such a good crowd of regulars who were'nt snobby. The two times I came in Sara and Racheal were both great. One day the manager was sitting talking with a couple of what I suspect regulars. This is a place I'll keep coming to.

Went there with a group of friends close to 9. We sat in the bar area and out server Fabiana was amazing. She was attentive, funny, nice, and had an all around good vibe. She took great care of us. We had two rounds or drinks and our food came out pretty fast for the amount of people in the restaurant. We'd definitely be back for another night out. Hopefully we get Fabiana again.

I went on a date and wanted to take my girlfriend to Applebees to enjoy some happy hour drinks and a good meal. We were able to get a seat very quick with very little wait time. Are server Sofia greeted us with such happy energy and was very polite. She absolutely made our experience such a good night. We would definitely like to come back for another date night.

It's Applebee's! The food was really good...my chicken was tender and it was very tasty. We went during happy hour so half off appetitizers is always a plus! This past Monday I ordered on the app for curbside pickup, and my order came out almost immediately! The girl who packed my food and brought it to my car was very nice and even offered to bring me napkins and condiments. Her name was Jill and not only was she helpful but she was very nice too. The whole process was very quick and easy and I plan on using this way of ordering again.

We have visited this site often and will continue to keep coming back. The service and food is usually very good. On our last visit, our waitress, Sirinya, was outstanding! Compared to the Tracy Applebee's, where we have had mediocre service, the Manteca location is always happy to see you walk in the door and treat you like a customer that they want to come back. I highly recommend the Manteca Applebees! Not so much the Tracy location.

Stopped by the Applebee’s in Manteca and had a surprisingly good time. I got the 8 oz steak—not expecting much honestly—but it was actually cooked pretty well for a chain restaurant. The drinks were also on point. Our server was extremely nice and very professional. Apple Bee’s are not necessarily known for their amazing service lol but Jill really stood out! You could tell she actually cared about the service she was giving, which you don’t always get these days All in all, solid spot for a casual night out.

Took my daughter in for a late dinner last night and had a great time. Our server, Sofia, was very nice and really helped us choose what was good to eat. We ordered to go and the food was warm and fresh. The to go person brought the food out to my car before I was even able to dial the number on the sign. Overall very good.

Just went for the $1 vampire drinks. They were pretty good. Expected a water down drink but this drink actually had a good amount of alcohol. Our server wasn't the best but after my third drink I didn't care much.

Service was OK. Only came back 1 time to ask for a refill after I was done. The food was not good. I ordered the chicken wongtong tacos, and they were terrible. They used to be delicious! Also the pretzel sticks had no salt and over cooked. The only good thing was the boneless wings. I don't know if I would go back. Prices are going up and food quality is going down! FYI, I go out to eat about 4 times a week because it's easier.

Service was good but my issue is the food. This is the grilled chicken plate. This amounts to one of the cheap frozen chicken breasts and frozen vegetables. Very small portions. They charge 15.99 for this! For about $3 of food. For restaurant experience should be $11.99. Applebee's always been a bit odd with their menus.

I edit the review up a star. I was frustrated and harsh right after the bad night. Waitress was attentive when she was there. It was frustrating to wait 30 mins just to have someone take my order among the other issues. Waited at least 30 minutes to be served another nearly 20-30 for food. Also had homeless man outside harassing people and stripping his clothes off. My steak was also closer to rare. I ordered to go for my grandfather was told 10 minutes waited another almost 20-30. Wish I could take the tip back but honestly when the waitress was there was nice. I just had to remind them to check on my to go twice.

I went to Applebee’s and had a pretty frustrating experience. I was there for about an hour and 15 minutes, and I never even got the meal I actually ordered. It started off fine—took about 20-30 minutes to get my food, which wasn’t bad at all. But I ordered a medium steak, and they brought me one that was completely well done. I figured maybe they gave me someone else’s food or misheard my order, so I let my server know. She was really nice and apologized, which I appreciated. At this point, I wasn’t even upset—I know mistakes happen. Then 25 more minutes go by, and my food still isn’t out. Meanwhile, everyone at my table had already finished eating, and I was just sitting there waiting. I mentioned it to my server again, and she was still very apologetic, but it still took another 5 minutes before they finally brought my food out. Before I even cut into it, I could already tell it was overcooked again. Sure enough, well done… again. At this point, I was over it. I called the manager over and just asked for the check and to take my food off the bill. She didn’t even ask what happened or why—just said, “Yeah, sure,” and walked away. No apology, no effort to fix it, nothing. The only person who actually seemed to care was my server. She was really nice and kept apologizing even though it wasn’t her fault. But between waiting over an hour for a steak I never even got cooked right and the manager acting like they didn’t care at all, I doubt I’ll be coming back anytime soon.

Came in to meet relatives for dinner. We arrived 30 minutes early to have a cocktail. It was around 5:45 and the bar area was about 1/3 full (a lot of empty seats). We ordered 2 bourbon and 7’s. The waiter comes back about 10 minutes later to tell us all they have is Jim Beam. We tell him ok with us. He leaves and comes back 10 minutes later to tell us they have Sierra Mist and not 7up, again ok. 30 minutes later without drinks we join our party at the table without our drinks. We tell the waitress who went and got our drinks after a 35 minute wait. Also the urinal in the men’s restroom was disgusting. Looked like it had not been cleaned in a very long time (photo attached). Food was ok.

First off, there were at least 7-8 servers, 3 different groups just chatting it up. Ordered the lime chicken dinner and it was undercooked and rubbery. Sent it back and 25 mins later i got the lime chicken and it was cooked this time. Had to keep asking for refills on drinks. Just terrible service. I don't recommend eating here at all.

The food was good the waitress did her job well but I had to give this location 1 star due to the musty old carpet smell that is obvious as soon as you walk in. When we were sat at our booth I couldn't get over the smell so I shined my phone light under the table and saw that the closing crew or who ever does the cleaning needs to be replaced. The amount of food crumbs and trash under the table and on the sides of the bench and the wall was disgusting. If my wife and I didn't already eat we would have left. Seriously in dark areas get a flashlight and check your employees area before they clock out. And rip out that old nasy carpet, that smell can't be covered up. I'll try eating there again someway in the future. I hope the management corrects those issues.

Overall, the quality did not meet expectations at all. The Mucho drinks were another letdown. Out of the three we ordered, only one was drinkable. The other two were unpleasant, overly strong, and poorly balanced, making them difficult to enjoy. To make matters worse, getting our bill took an additional 15–30 minutes, which added unnecessary frustration at the end of the visit. After already being dissatisfied with the food and drinks, this delay made the experience even more disappointing. Overall, this visit fell far below expectations, and unfortunately, we would not recommend this location based on our experience.

I am never one to complain about restaurants but I feel like I don't have a choice. We went to dinner there this evening with my husband and daughter. First, after we were seated and ordered we waited 50 minutes for mine and my husbands food. My daughters food came 20 minutes after ours. Even the table next to us made a comment about hers coming so much later. My husband had the bourbon burger. It was dry. No sauce at all on it. The buns were dry. I had the bourbon steak. Once again, no sauce. My steak was dry. My mashed potatoes were ice cold. I'm not even kidding. My daughter had a chicken sandwich. Her chicken was hard as a rock and burnt. I hit it with a fork and it made a knocking noise! Never again will we be going back. Staff took off my meal and my daughters meal. But this was terrible. Absolutely terrible. Do better.
