If I had to describe the cuisine at Osteria Regale in one word, I'd use the word "moving." The high-quality ingredients, combined with culinary technique and impeccable aesthetics in the plating, made the taste and aroma experience beyond all expectations. The wine list is extensive and well-curated, with interesting local selections. The attention to detail and beauty of the interiors (both indoors and outdoors) and the exquisite kindness of the staff are noteworthy: as I'm gluten intolerant, they went out of their way to adapt some dishes to my dietary needs that I otherwise wouldn't have had the chance to enjoy. The bill was more than reasonable for the offering. My sincere compliments!

A wonderful culinary experience. Wonderful location, we had two appetizers and two main courses—exceptional braised beef and delicious beef fillet. We tried an amazing wine from a local winery, and to finish, a fabulous chestnut cheesecake. Highly recommended!

An incredibly beautiful location, elegant and meticulously detailed. With its various dining rooms and lounges, it's perfect for sharing meals with friends or family. The service is truly excellent, with a touch of friendliness that never hurts. The menu features various Mantuan specialties from both land and river, and seafood is also available. The prices aren't exactly competitive, but I'd say the dishes are worth it.

From the stunning location (where we also stayed), to the service and food, I can say that everything is excellent. Location: A very elegant 18th-century villa, the restaurant is clean and furnished in a subtle yet well-balanced way. Service: The waiters, owners, and chefs are truly helpful and create a welcoming yet unobtrusive atmosphere. Food: exquisite. The fixed menu offers delicious Mantuan specialties, especially locally sourced. The wines are equally good. Nothing negative to report. The stracotto is highly recommended!

We had dinner at this osteria on the outskirts of Mantua, sitting outside in the summer. The musician was very talented and entertaining, creating a romantic atmosphere throughout the evening. We tried the meat dishes; the food was excellent, but the prices were a bit high. Convenient on-site parking.

We had a delicious meal. Exceptionally friendly service. Despite being on the street, there's a nice garden area. The dishes are primarily local, not geared towards tourists. This made it difficult for our 10-year-old daughter to choose. It's a bit more expensive, but also more upscale than we're used to in Italy.

The prices are way too high for the quality and quantity of the dishes offered, which we found mediocre. You're probably paying for the truly beautiful 19th-century location. The owners are friendly and helpful.
