Típico restaurante de Holbox pero con un ceviche espectacular !!!!. Personal muy amable y todo un clásico

El ceviche mixto una locura y una porción realmente abundante. También probamos los frijoles charros, bueno, quizá hacia un poco de calor, pero estaban buenísimos!! Un lugar muy pintoresco y de buena onda. Lo único que solo va con efectivo, pero bien vale la pena!

El lugar está bien, atienden rápido y los precios están adecuados, es una buena opción para comer algo rápido además está bien ubicado.

Comida muy fresca y sitio muy auténtico. El trato del personal fue excelente, todos muy amables. La música y el ambiente son relajados, ideal para disfrutar con calma. La única pega es que no se puede pagar con tarjeta, pero aun así nos gustó mucho el lugar. Totalmente recomendable

Nos ha gustado mucho la experiencia. La comida estaba muy rica, hemos pedido un burrito y calamares espanizados. Las raciones eran abundantes y buenas :) Queríamos hacer una especial mención a la amabilidad y atención de Daniel, y al adorable perrito que se encuentra en el local. Gracias!

¡Nos llevamos una gran sorpresa! La experiencia fue increíble. Los platillos eran sustanciosos, deliciosos y de buena calidad. La limonada con menta estaba súper refrescante, y la michelada con camarones fue una de las mejores que hemos probado.

They are two colorful, house style restaurants next to each other on one of the main streets of Holbox. We decided to try this one because the other opened later. We were not disappointed! The gentleman who served us was diligent is making us all happy. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was welcoming. We will go back!

We had a great meal here, one of our favourites in Holbox! We shared the fish burrito and coconut shrimp, I preferred the burrito and my mum preferred the shrimp, both were delicious! Really friendly waiter, decent prices and ice cold glasses for our beers. Definitely try it out!

A neighborhood restaurant without too many tourists with excellent food. There wasn't much decor but the service was friendly and the ceviche was generously proportioned and very tasty.

Had sopa de mariscos (it was a cold day!) and it was better than I hoped for. Tasty soup and chunky fresh and perfectly cooked seafood. Also had some red wine which was clean and fresh. Edit: They also do fantastic margaritas🍸

We ordered bean soup, guacamole (really tasty, a big portion and with just a small amount of onion) and squid. Everything tasted really good. My only small complaint was the bean soup – I’ve had better ones, but this one was still okay. We forgot to take a picture, but we truly recommend this place!

Honestly… the best culinary experience on Holbox and probably one of the main reasons to come back someday. ¡De verdad! Great value for your money. Sopa de mariscos is a total must.. but if you’re REALLY hungry.. go for their Seafood Mixed Grill. Absolutely amazing and probably the best of its kind I’ve ever had. And a funny extra: when we came back for the second time a heavy downpour started right in the centro… and honestly.. it just made everything even more auténtico. Holbox vibes :-)

OMG, if you like ceviche you will LOVE this place! I order ceviche every chance I get in the US, and none come close to the massive plate of deliciousness we got here! We got the mixed seafood ceviche, and it is definitely the best I’ve ever had! Right on the square, and easy to find!

We had a well cooked platter of seafood, accompanied by a mixed salad and some delicious sauces. The guys serving us were a joy and they made awesome pina coladas! They also put some great hip hop on!

Wow delicious food And huge portions. I went 4 times with my fiance and they gave us free margaritas twice. It looks empty but go in and enjoy.

Typical Mexican cuisine. The fish tacos are delicious, the portions are very generous. The shrimp tacos are also very good with lots of shrimps inside. The sopa de limon was done the typical way. Loved it here!!! And also they’re habanero sauce is a good one, don’t forget to try it!!!

El cocal es un sitio típico de aquí en donde comimos un bistec de cerdo, una cazuela de choriqueso y una ensalada César (que no alcance sacar foto), todo por buen precio. Nos costó todo eso y tres cervezas por 500 pesos sin propinas. La comida está rica pero no descata un sabor característico o diferente. El choriqueso estaba muy rico. Traen además salsas, cebolla y tortillas a parte como picoteo. Buena atención por parte del camarero en todo momento. Nos recomendó sitios de la isla para ver.

Comi 2 noches siguida buen precio con buena racione. Restorente simple como la comida ,comi un dia camarones al ajio muy buenos y el otro dia pollo cordon bleu b es una.bomba de comida.

Cuando llegue me dieron una entradita super rica, me atendieron super bien, la comida super deliciosa y no es muy costoso, puedes pagar con tarjeta, pero super recomendados que tengas efectivo. Super recomendado.

Fun first night in Holbox. The power kept going off and on..was a really fun first night. Food is excellent, prices reasonable ans staff friendly and helpful.

Vinimos a cenar aguachile y unas limonadas y a pesar de que el personal fue muy agradable, la comida no estuvo como esperábamos. El aguachile era tan picante que apenas pudimos comerlo y el guacamole muy normalito.

La comida, en general estaba muy buena, y platos muy grandes. Si he puntuado con 3 estrellas es porque hemos encontrado un plastico en uno de los platos (un aguachile) y porque el mesero que nos ha atendido ha sido bastante desagradable con su actitud y con comentarios fuera de lugar. Por otro lado, el propietario (creo que lo es) ha sido muy simpático y profesional, pero el mesero le arruina el servicio.

Pedimos Tacos 🌮 de pescado y camarón estaban buenos, un poco caros. Cuando llegamos dijeron que no tenían caldo de pollo, más tarde una señora lo pidió y se lo dieron. La Jamaica era de concentrado y no sabia a nada.

Got the coconut prawns. Prawns themselves were delicious, beautifully cooked and generous serving. Unfortunately they were deeply let down by the overall dish. Served with rice and a garden salad (no dressing). The prawns Needed something wet and acidic or tangy. There was neither of those; so the dish was dry and completely dominated by the coconut. Menu mentioned tamarind on the dish but no sign of it. Really disappointed

Nice atmosphere, food was average quesadillas were overpriced and very empty tiny plate of chips cooked in dirty oil. $480 pesos for this and a coke was crazy. Save your pennies and head to the market.

No nos ha gustado. Venimos de viajar un mes por México, probando platos por todas partes y, este ha sido el lugar en el que menos auténtica nos ha parecido la comida. La limonada con menta muy bien. No obstante, el alambre de arrachera era muy plano, sin mucho sabor. Lo peor, sin duda: las enchiladas rojas. No tenían sabor alguno y la salsa no estaba ligada, como aguada. Teniendo en cuenta que los precios son más altos que en otros lugares...no hemos salido contentos.

We had a completely disappointing experience here. I ordered soup, fajitas, and a michelado. We had to wait quite a while, even though several tables were occupied. Finely the soup and fajitas arrived at the same time, and the chicken and rice were cold. They completely forgot about our drinks. The food was tasteless, and the lime soup had no hint of lime or any other flavor. Of course, they didn't forget to add our drinks to the bill. Not worth a penny.

The Sopa de Lima wasn’t a proper soup – it tasted like bouillon cube in hot water with just a bit of meat. The catch of the day was dry, as was the rice served with it, and for the little meat the fish actually had, it was overpriced. However, the service was very friendly and attentive.

Un insulto a la comida mexicana, le ponen azúcar a todo, platillos como chilaquiles, enchiladas, quesadillas, según esto por qué al extranjero no como picante y al gringo le gusta lo dulce, he viajado a otros países y jamás me han puesto Valentina en la pizza o jalapeño al sushi por ser Mexicano jajaja. Además caro solo porque está bien ubicado y se ve pintoresco.
