We enjoyed ourselves for our sons’s first birthday at dinner at the Mahina restaurant. The three staff members listed below went above and beyond to make sure our son had a phenomenal birthday. The food was excellent. The service was phenomenal. The atmosphere the ambience they said the tone I brought a little decorations. They did not give me a hard time to put it up and to make sure that my son enjoyed his birthday my family and I will definitely be back and we probably might stay at the resort next time Please give a shout out to these three members listed . We discovered Mahina staying at the Isla Bella resort, you can hear both for breakfast and dinner. The location is stunning, with options to sit inside, on the patio, or on the sand, all with ocean views. The grounds – including the sand – are impeccably maintained. The core is clean and modern, offering an obstructed vistas. Breakfast is very good, but dinner is exceptional, and worth the detour. The Polynesian-inspired menu reminds us of our favorite restaurants on Maui. The calamari special appetizer was outstanding. My lobster was prepared to perfection. My wife loved her ahi tuna. All was served by the attentive staff on the sand, under the palm trees, as the sun was setting. A truly magical experience.

Am absolute pleasure having found this place, a gem right in the midlde of the Keys. Upscale, classy, modern beach destination and fun. We ordered their special last night which was a Seafood Pasta everything from Shrimp, Scallops, Clams, King Prawns and Lobster 🦞 it was amazing. We also ordered one of their delicious Steaks served with baby Broccoli and Mashed Potatoes, one of the best Steaks we have had in the Keys. Staff were friendly and fun to have helping us. Mahina is definitely a place to book for dinner even if your not staying at the resort.

We vacationed to Isle Belle in December for 4 nights and two of the nights we ate dinner at the Mahina because it is amazing! Besides the obvious beautiful views, the staff and food were 10/10. First, the hostess was so sweet! The first time we ate at Mahina, we requested outdoor seating and she sat us at the far right corner table facing the bridge (best table in the entire restaurant in my opinion). So, the second time we ate there, I asked for the same table as she was about to seat us elsewhere and she accommodated immediately. She also took photos of us by the water and told us about the blankets that they offer if we get cold!! Second, the food was sooo good. From the apps, dinner, and dessert everything was delicious! Third, I don’t remember the waitresses names but both nights, we had good service. Fourth, the views!!!!!

Our dinner was absolutely amazing. I am also in the restaurant industry so trust me when I tell you this place is a hit! The views on the sand, the food, the service, everything was a 10/10. We made reservations about an hour before going. A family member recommended the restaurant and it did not disappoint. Our server was Ransel and he was very professional and charismatic, we were very pleased. Highly recommend!

We stayed for a few days and ate all our breakfast and dinners here. The food was outstanding in our opinion. We didn’t use reservations as we were happy to sit and the bar have a cocktail and eat! Hubby said Ramon was a good bartender but then again they all are.

The food the service and the views especially were spectacular! Great ambiance. We sat outside and were just a few feet from the water which offered us a great view of the sunset as we enjoyed our dinner and drinks. I had the clams as an appetizer and the prawns as my main course and they were both great. If you're staying at the resort and don't feel like going far for a meal this is a great option.

We stayed a couple of days at the beautiful resort Isla Bella. We couldn’t get reservations at the Mahina until manager DuLap was able to make our reservation. The food was amazing! The service was top of the line by Ramasel a Jamaican guy. Highly recommend.

Excellent menu selection. Service was on time and attentive. Filet cooked to perfection. Vegetables fresh and prepared perfectly. The view was amazing for both indoor and outdoor seating

I finally decided to try dinner at Mahina, and now it will be a place I frequent. The ambience and setting are gorgeous! A soft sandy beach with a spectacular sunset view, beautiful architecture, outstanding waitstaff (Tiffany was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable) and delicious food and drinks await you. I was beyond impressed by all Mahina offers. After dinner I spent some time outside listening to live music. They have a bar and firepits outdoors to finish your perfect evening.

I have to say, other than the sunset and view this was the shining light of our Isla Bella stay. The food is expensive but my whole family of 5 agreed that the food here was second to none compared to any food we ate during our 5 day stay in the Keys. I would recommend it to anyone.

My friend and I ate here while staying at Isla Bella. We called for a reservation when we arrived that day and they fit us in easily. We sat on the patio and enjoyed wonderful views and an awesome sunset. There was live music playing close by, which added to the ambiance. Our server was very kind and attentive and provided her recommendations on what to/not to get based on what we were interested in. I had the prawns and my friend had the seafood pasta. The food was good but not the best I’ve had, and I would have expected a little more from such a nice resort, but we were not disappointed. The resort itself is incredibly nice and beautiful. I’d love to come back!

Conveniently located in Isla Bella Resort, this place has exceptional steak, but make sure to mentioned a desired temperature and not just the level 😜 the drinks are also well made and the atmosphere is perfect ! Had a great time during our stay 🫶

Our dinner at Mahina was perhaps the highlight of our dining experience in the Keys. We chose the catch and cook option from our fishing trip earlier that day, and it was prepared beautifully. Aside from the fish, we also ordered a filet mignon and a shrimp scampi, which were both delicious as well. We ordered two desserts at the end of the night, and the flourless chocolate cake and key lime pie were one of the best. On top of that, the service was absolutely exceptional. Many thanks to Surama and Pedro, who were amazing servers and always made sure that we were having the best experience possible!

We have been to Mahina multiple times over the last few years and we came to the conclusion that it’s the best atmosphere for dinner on the water anywhere in the Keys. We start inside at the bar for a great cocktail and the drinks and service are always impeccable. The dinner was the delicious. if I have one critique and this is not anything against our server. The service time can improve some. Im not sure if the servers have too many tables but they are great but just wish we could have a little more attention but I’d recommend Mahina to anyone

Valentines Day, what a wonderful place to enjoy a meal with your husband. Lamont was a treat, truly a fine human being and an amazing waiter. The food wad excellent, the steak was perfect and the vegetables were excellent as well. Would give them six stars if I had the option.

Surama took great care of our large group 1/1/2026. She was so attentive and kind, even asking us at sunset if she could take our group picture. The food was incredible, drinks and desserts were excellent! The setting of Mahina is so beautiful!! Well worth the price! Make sure to make a reservation!

We arrived today to Isla Bella exhausted and hungry. We booked a table at Mahina and were so pleasantly surprised. Jess our server was amazing! Awesome recommendations and phenomenal service. We started with the lobster bisque and a wedge salad. The wedge was perfectly balanced and the lobster bisque was a creamy dream. Then I had the jumbo shrimp Alfredo and my now husband had the crab crusted mahi. Both were absolutely delicious. 10/10 Will eat here again before we leave. What a great way to start our mini moon! Thank you!

Food was amazing. Steak melted in your mouth and the Mahi maho was perfectly cooked. We got our money's worth as there was plenty of food and the bread was so soft and buttery. Our server, Surama , was so friendly and polite and very attentive. We will definitely be back for the atmosphere, food and wonderful service!

The Mahina restaurant was wonderful. The food was delicious and our server Nonny was very friendly and gave excellent service. Nonny, Pedro and all of the staff we met were very accommodating and friendly. Definitely worth dining here!

The most charming and welcoming place in Florida. The rooms are pristine and tastefully decorated. The food is great and the staff are warm, welcoming and very helpful. Definitely worth the cost!

Surama was a great server!! We had her last night and tonight! The food is amazing. We loved the poke appetizer and their cocktails are perfect. We got the burger and mahi for dinner. Both 10/10!!

We stayed at the resort for a few days and ate here the last night. I wish we’d dined sooner. Best meal of the vacation. Great service. We were celebrating my son’s birthday and they made the evening special. Would definitely come back.

My husband and I ate at Mahina after our elopement in the Keys. The host, Monica, and her husband, House, were so kind and went out of their way to make our evening special, despite how busy the restaurant was. Our server, Angie, was so knowledgeable and friendly. She gave great recommendations and had great energy. Everyone at Mahina was great and helped make our evening one to remember!

We started our evening sitting at the bar for a couple of drinks. The restaurant itself is very beautiful looking. The bartender was super nice. Can’t remember his name but I know he is Brazilian. He was friendly and made small talk was us. My wife and I were the only ones at the bar so he made the time pleasant having some small talk. We then decided to make a reservation for that evening at 8:30. We were excited about the specials that the bartender informed us about. When we got there the dining room was full due to the rain so they brought in an outside table for us. The dining room is smaller .. fits around 40 people probably. Because of it being full and many tables having children it was very loud. Unfortunately that made our anniversary dinner a little less romantic.. it was also difficult to even hear our waitress speak. Another unfortunate thing was that both the specials that we wanted were already sold out which was surprising because it really wasn’t that busy there… again the dining room was only full because of the rain. Our waitress was very kind though. We decided to just order the steak special, a Caesar salad and the conch chowder. The food was good.. not spectacular but good. They did give us a complementary dessert for our anniversary which was very kind. I do think that our waitress felt bad because the table next to us was so loud and that the two specials we came for were sold out. Of course that’s no one’s fault, it happens.

Amazing location and good food. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Went here during the sunset and we had a pleasant view. They have good cocktails. We tried the seafood pasta - the seafood was fresh and the pasta had the nice seafood flavor drawn into it. The flatbread was pretty well baked and we did enjoy it. A good experience overall.

Hard to beat sitting at a table in the sand watching the sun set over the horizon. But, the service was surprisingly slow and the menu was just okay, nothing special. That said, the lobster bisque and calamari were good, and loved the complementary rolls.

Surama, was our waitress and did a very great job with service. Manager came and checked on us and made sure everything was good. Food was yummy and the stay has been great!

Food was good but not comparative to the prices. My shrimp scampi was very underwhelming as the pasta was flavorless and the shrimp were dry. The mahi looked and tasted over cooked. Ribeye was good but nothing great. Their desserts are massive and were all very very good. We never received our dinner rolls for the table. The drinks were okay. Service was good but we sat a little bit before getting a waiter/waitress. The environment is what really sets this place apart. Food was good, but the setting is what you come here for. It was also nice being able to just walk in and get a table too.I would return.

Atmosphere was awesome.. music playing, epic weather… however several mistakes on our orders.. Apps came out with meals, wrong drink orders as all as mistakes with meal sides. Otherwise good experience. Probably would only go back to bar area. Not worth the money spent in my opinion.

Mahina Restaurant boasts the best ocean view, complete with a friendly and courteous staff, fantastic ocean-facing seating arrangements, and a beautiful ambiance. However, my enthusiasm doesn't extend to the food. The prices are quite high, averaging around $40-50 per dish, and unfortunately, the taste of the dishes fell flat in comparison. Vegetarian options were scarce. While I did enjoy their key lime pie and found their salads tasty, relying solely on salads for dinner isn't ideal. It's my suggestion that the management should focus on improving both the taste and pricing of their menu. The restaurant appears to cater primarily to hotel guests, and for the prices charged, it would be wise to enhance the dining experience. A meal for two easily surpasses $100, excluding the 18-22% tip. I was informed that reservations are mandatory, but I rarely observed many patrons in the restaurant, even though the resort's guest parking was nearly full.

We have spent around 2000.00 a nightstand stay here this holiday season. You don't expect your breakfast coffee to come out in a paper cup, your coffee creamer to come be served in a small dixie cup, we received no spoon to stir the coffee. To make matters worse they could not get our eggs cooked to our requests. We love the resort but the Mahina needs some major addressing.

We were really looking forward to a nice dinner here but the food was so overpriced for the quality & the service was so bad. I got the crab cake crusted mahi mahi and the crab cake had decent flavor but everything else was blah. Almost no seasoning at all. For $58 i expected it to be really good seafood (for someone who loves seafood!). My husband got the wedge salad and instead of putting the dressing on the side to allow him to choose his portion, they put so much on it was basically a soup at the end. Our waitress was nice , but was so inattentive. She basically just got our order and then we didn’t see her. The team that filled up our water & brought out our food we’re good but our main waitress never came out to check on us after our food came out or take away our bread basket and plates. If it didn’t feel morally wrong or make me highly uncomfortable, I wouldn’t have left a tip at all.
