This is SUCH a wonderful place. So full of history, great location. Try to roof top bar. Food is simple but great looking and even better tasting. Been there many times, you may just walk by and not notice it. BUT do so!

Excellent restuarant in the Old Town that we go to a lot. Pizza is superb and they also have an excellent Brazilian singer ands guitarist who plays in the Sky bar who you can listen to while eating and having a drink. Awesome place for an evening out.

We were just walking by and checked the Google rating. After seeing some negative reviews, we almost decided to keep walking and go somewhere else. But then the waitress, Lyuba, personally invited us in and confidently assured us of the quality. We decided to trust her — and it turned out to be the best decision. The service was excellent: warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was delicious, clearly made with care and love, and absolutely not “touristy” at all. Even though the café is located in a tourist area, the cuisine feels authentic and thoughtfully prepared. We are very happy we came here and can highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates good food and sincere service.

Frühstücken und Abendessen kann man hier sehr gut..War 2 mal Abendessen hier und 1 mal Frühstücken. Verdammt große Portionen und das Preisleistung Verhältnis stimmt einfach. Gute Qualität vom Essen und super Bedienungen, sehr aufmerksam, hammer Service. Sowohl oben in der Rooftbar als auch unten. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und hat etwas beruhigendes. Ich kann die vielen negativen Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen, wir hatten einen wunderbaren Abend dort. Gegessen haben wir das geröstete Brot mit Guacomole, das Lachssteak und das Rib Eye und es gab nichts zu beanstanden. On Top gab es auf Kosten des Hauses Pitabrot mit Knoblauchdip. Alles hat hervorragend geschmeckt und war gut gewürzt, der Service war sehr aufmerksam. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

In der Aldstadt von Marbella gelegenes Restaurant. Teure Bagels, dir geschmacklich in Ordnung gehen, allerdings für das Geld überteuert sind. Die Lage ist sehr schön und das Gebäude ist sehr gut für Bilder geeignet

Hemos cenado en el comedor interior. Sitio muy agradable y los camareros simpaticos y atentos. Lo que hemos cenado estaba muy bueno y las raciones muy generosas, sobre todo la lubina ,que estaba muy buena y era muy fresca. La proxima vez probaremos sus carnes a la brasa.

Buenas pizzas en un ambiente al que le faltaba algo de música... No barato pero la verdad es que me gustó. Buena situación y, para cuando hace bueno, una terraza muy agradable para tomar algo en pleno Casco Antiguo de Marbella.

Ristorante situato nel centro storico di Marbella in un punto che incrocia strategicamente varie vie dove si passeggia. Il personale è molto gentile e professionale. Purtroppo abbiamo mangiato la paella più scotta del mondo, davvero pessima! Il salmone invece era cotto al punto giusto e molto gustoso. Non ci è piaciuta l’aggiunta della mini-focaccia sul conto perché, a parte essere collosa e immangiabile, non l’avevamo ordinata di proposito visto che era segnalata da poter scegliere sul menu. Alla cassa ci hanno giustificato il conto dicendo che si mette sempre il pane a tavola e lo si paga (ma non era pane). Noi non ci torneremo e non lo consigliamo. Rapporto qualità- prezzo insufficiente.

We were charged £2.50 for bread we didn’t order and that we assumed was complimentary. They also refused to serve tap water, making us pay for a bottle of water each in 27 degree heat. The food was good overall, especially the cocktails, but the churros were disappointing. Would not recommend unless you’re fluent in Spanish and less likely to be scammed as the rooftop area is very pretty.

Good location in old town Marbella. Cute patio seating. They only take cash though, not credit card, which might be a hassle if you don't travel with a lot of cash. Not much options if you are vegan but for non-vegan it might be ok. Pictured is the guacamole plate.

The food was below the standard of Spanish restaurant (as they have amazing food). Sea food soup was good, paella was not good, grilled king prawns were small and not grilled. Finally we agreed to give it a last chance with deserts, we ordered the obvious churros and it was another disappointment Their outdoor seating is nice and they are not there on the food grade.

We went as a group of four, two people got their meals first at a quick time, but then it was around a 40 minute wait until the other two meals came. The staff never apologised for the wait and we had to actually ask where our food was after growing very impatient. We eventually got our meals, and they weren’t even that great. There was no discounts or even apologies when paying for the bill, and we all left feeling very disappointed and even angry.

Si vous voulez boire quelque chose sur un Rooftop ok (vue quasi nulle) mais n’attendez pas une bonne sangria car elle est faite minute. concernant la sangria blanche elle est faite également en direct avec du Fanta 🤨🤨 Donc n’attendez rien de cette boisson

Staff very friendly and a great view of old town marbella. However, food was utterly awful. Calamares like onion rings, frozen paella heated up with soggy rice and a dreadful prawns pil pil. Unfortunately a big tourist trap.

The food was terrible. Not worth the money! 92 Euros for two people! Seafood paella was very salty and gambas had no flavor. Waitress placed a basket of thin bread with aioli dipping sauce on the table and said it was complimentary. When we got our bill, they actually charged us for the bread after all. Young rude customers sitting at next table talking loud and blaring their cellphones with no respect for other customers. Save your money, eat somewhere else!

Veel te duur voor wat je krijgt. We bestelden calamares en er zaten nog een scampi tussen en rolletjes deeg. Ik vermoedelijk frituur niet uitgekuisd van vorige portie. Ik lag ook nog uren nadien op onze maag. Ik Oktopus gegeten zat niks van smaak in. Foto zag er veel belovend uit maar was niks van dat. Vork lag nog niet neer of men kwam de borden al weghalen. Het is er klein en het is duidelijk dat men zoveel mogelijk klanten wil lokken.

The worst restaurant experience I have had in Spain. We waited over an hour for our starters and the steaks were tough. They forgot parts of our order and the parts that arrived were cold. The waitresses were downright rude, uncaring and inattentive. At one point they picked up our table from underneath us and moved it. I have not had a restaurant experience like it and would deter anyone from choosing this restaurant. Do not waste your time, energy or money here.

Не рекомендую. Вокруг полно других мест где вам будут рады. Нас пять раз спросили будем ли мы ужинать и заказывать еду или только напитки , но ноль раз сказали что карты не принимают. Еда очень посредственная , салат цезарь как полуфабрикат из супермаркета пицца тоже самое..... хамское отношение к посетителям . Управляющий кричит на своих сотрудников прямо при гостях очень неприятное впечатление. В счёте включили напитки которые никто не заказывал и с не довольным видом пошли исправлять счёт...

The real name of the place is El Cortez. We didn't eat but we can say the sangria is absolutely awful. Instead of most cocktails, the sangria most be prepared in advance rather than to order, which is the case here.

0n a commandé une salade Cesar à emporter. On a attendu 20 mn dans un chao total à l'intérieur du restaurant, en face du bar . Le barman n'arretait pas de se racler le fond de son nez tout en préparant des cocktails! On a payé 16 euros la fameuse salade. En arrivant à l'hôtel il n'y avait pas de poulet! A fuire.😱

A fuir ! Nous sommes allés dîner par défaut dans ce restaurant, Mia cafe était malheureusement fermé. On aurait mieux fait de lire les avis sur internet avant de choisir. Le service est déplorable, antipathique. Devant le restaurant vous avez des serveurs pour halpaguer des clients (qui en profitent pour reluquer sans gêne les femmes qui passent ...), c'est signe que le restaurant n'a pas bonne réputation... Mon conjoint n'a pas fini son plat qui était immonde. Les frites ne sont ni maison ni croustillantes. Nos pizzas passables, manquaient clairement de saveurs et a un prix élevé ! L'emplacement est sympa et la terasse agréable, d'autant plus qu'elle est chauffée.

Terrible. If I could give this a 0 star I would. Service slow (1hr) and unresponsive, all food was inedible especially the grilled prawns which were delivered late and not even fuly cooked, served still translucent. I was extremely concerned as if we had eatend them it could have lead to food poising. We left, and ate somewhere else. Avoid at all costs.

Un service nul avec des serveurs pas agréable. Trop cher pas bon et pas copieux. Tout est hors de prix par rapport à la quantité servi. J’ai commandé le poulpe braisé j’ai même pas eu la tentacule entière heureusement que j’ai eu un peu de dire a côté. The place looks very nice from the outside, but don’t be tricked, the food is below than average. Overcooked rice and pasta, the sauce doesn’t taste nice. The quality of food is like it was cooked in a school dining room. I hope the place will find a new recipes.

Uninteressiertes ungeduldiges unfreundlichen Personal. In Frittierölertränktes Meeresgetier (vermutlich TK-Ware), Pommes Frites die nur mal die Fritteuse kurz gesehen haben, Limonaden ohne Kohlensäure......Leute, schlechter geht es nicht. Macht ein weiten Bogen das Restaurant. Wir haben selten schlechter gegessen. Da ist jeder Strandimbiss besser. Eigentlich nur ein halber Stern, aber den kann man nicht vergeben.

Would give this hell hole zero stars if it was possible. Avoid avoid avoid! We ended up here as it happened to be in a nice location but that is where the positive attributes end. The waiting staff were rude, standing over us after we asked for more time to order and literally counting down out loud when asked for 2 more minutes to pay the bill. They wouldn't even let us pay the bill across multiple cards as it was "easier for them". Food is absolute garbage into the bargain.

Desastre absoluto, entramos para desayunar por lo bonito de la fachada sin mirar antes los comentarios del lugar... Primer red Flag, la insistencia de los camareros para que nos sentemos. Una vez sentados tuvimos que pedir tres veces porque están empanaos. El pan con tomate horrible, el tomate medio ácido ya. Imagino que vivirán de clientes despistados, por segunda vez no vuelves. Muy mal, no recomendable, tourist trap.

Muy mala atención por el personal desde el principio. Dijimos claramente que íbamos a tomar algo, nos dieron una mesa y a los 10 min nos dijeron que teníamos que cenar sino nos teníamos que levantar. Nos trajeron la cuenta al momento con la consumición entera y sin ni siquiera opción de pago con tarjeta, solo efectivo. Pésimo.

Una estafa de sitio... Una copa de vino de ribera a 7,5 y con fe de que te hayan puesto ese vino ya que no te lo enseñan. Un robo si te van a cobrar 7,5 por una copa CALIENTE de vino te tendrían que avisar.

Bueno, poco puedo opinar de este restaurante ,cuando tenia ganas de una paella y un buen vino blanco al final todo se convirtio en una lastima, la paella era muy mala ,sin sabor sin gusto ya que estuvo congelada y los langostinos caducados los precios que ponen a una botella de vino son demasiado ya, al fina pedi una pizza que nos la trajeron fria y no se, mi nota es un 0, lo siento por ellos pero van mal asi

No creo que es correcto que por la botella de Freixenet te cobre 39 euros. Cuando al lado hemos tomado una marca de mayor calidad a mitad de precio.

Such a disappointing way to end our trip. We were initially asked to sit inside while waiting for a table to become available, which we were happy to do. Around 20 minutes later, we were shown to our table. When it came time to order, several menu items were unavailable. The waiter also refused to cook a steak well done, explaining that it would ruin the dish, which we appreciated and respected. About 30 minutes later, food began to arrive, or so we thought. Only two meals came out at first. It took another 30 minutes for three more dishes to appear, and even then one was still missing. Despite asking several times, the final meal did not arrive until around 40 minutes after the first. We had ordered two 500g steaks, but were given one 1kg steak instead. The waiter insisted that this was what we had agreed to, which was not the case. It was also listed on the bill as two separate 500g steaks. Another dish that was meant to come with rice arrived with sweet potato fries instead. When we mentioned this, he said there was no rice left. At no point was this communicated to us, and when we asked why he had not told us earlier, he replied, “Well, I am telling you now.” When it came to paying, we explained that we did not feel it was fair to pay the full amount given the poor service and multiple issues with the meals. The waiter, who claimed to be the manager, immediately became aggressive and threatened to call the police. He offered another round of drinks on the house, but when we asked for these to be deducted from the bill instead, he refused, saying it was not possible once it was in the machine. The situation escalated further when he told us he had thousands of friends in Spain, implying that they would make sure we paid. Overall, it was an awful experience with rude management, poor communication, and terrible customer service. A real shame to end our trip this way.

Threatened by Manager – Extremely Poor Service and Hostile Behaviour ⭐ Zero stars if possible This restaurant is located in a beautiful setting, which makes it even more disappointing that the experience was so unacceptable. I rarely leave reviews, but what happened here was serious enough that I feel others should be warned. We visited as a group of six adults, expecting a relaxed and enjoyable meal. Upon arrival, we were asked to wait inside while our table was prepared. This was fine, and we ordered drinks while waiting. After around 10 minutes, we were seated and placed our food orders. Unfortunately, several dishes were unavailable — including the fillet steak — but this was not communicated until after we had ordered. We didn’t mind adapting, so alternatives were chosen without complaint. However, the problems began when our meals started arriving at completely different times: - The ribs arrived first. - Around 10 minutes later, the paella was served. 15 minutes after that, my sirloin steak arrived, followed by one T-bone steak. - The second T-bone was replaced, without any consultation, by a single 1kg steak to be shared between two people — even though they had requested different cooking preferences. - The salmon dish arrived last, with chips instead of rice. When we queried this, the waiter (who identified himself as the manager) simply said, “Rice is finished.” This lack of communication and coordination meant we all ate separately, with some meals going cold while others waited. To make matters worse, the steaks were served without the sides or sauces that had been ordered, which took an additional 10 minutes to arrive after chasing. When we raised our concerns politely with the manager, his response was dismissive: “I understand, but it’s not my problem.” We requested a goodwill discount due to the poor service, but he refused and instead offered a round of drinks. We declined as it was late and asked for the value to be deducted from the bill — again, he refused. At this point, the situation escalated unnecessarily. The manager became aggressive, repeatedly spoke over us, and threatened to call the police when we questioned the bill (which was also incorrectly calculated — we were charged for two 500g T-bones even though only one 1kg steak was served). He then made inappropriate comments about where I was from and stated, “I have thousands of friends in Spain,” which came across as intimidating. Another man, introduced as “security,” then approached in an aggressive manner. Feeling uncomfortable and threatened, we paid the full bill (€280 for six people, including one round of drinks and a bottle of wine) just to leave safely. This was by far the worst service experience I have ever encountered. The lack of professionalism, communication, and basic courtesy from the management was shocking. It’s a shame, as the location itself is lovely — but the service completely ruins it. I strongly advise avoiding this restaurant. There are many better options nearby in Marbella offering genuine hospitality and far higher standards. Such behaviour from management is unacceptable in any setting, let alone a restaurant catering to tourists. I hope this feedback encourages the owners to reflect seriously on how they treat their guests.

Es de muy mala educación abordar a la gente en la calle par que consuman en el establecimiento, es muy cansino pasar cada dia varias veces por delante y soportar a los camareros intentando convencerte para que consumas, me parece patético, se quitan las ganas de entrar.

Es un sitio para turistas. A la chica me cobraban por sonreír y la comida muy regular. Mi mujer le pidió cambiar la pizza a menos de un minuto de pedirla y la camarera le dijo que ya estaba mandada la comanda y que si la cambiaba..... explotaba el mundo, porque otra cosa no se que va a pasar. Pues bien, no la cambio. Cuando traen la pizza de mi mujer que llevaba gorgonzola, no se lo pusieron (un queso fuerte y que tiene cosillas verdes, es decir que se nota que lo han puesto) y la chica decía que si, pero que lo tenía que preguntar por si acaso. Cuando vuelve dice que efectivamente no se lo había puesto y lo único que se le ocurre, en vez de hacer una pizza de nuevo, es llevarse una pizza que llev ya 10 minutos hecha y ponerle en gorgonzola con dos minutos de horno ( la pizza costaba más de 13€). Para finalizar la cuenta no la traian ni de broma y cuando la traen nos pone un servicio de pan que no nos habían traído. Por 2 pizzas y unos espaguetis boloñesa, 2 Cocacola y 1 agua, 54€. Una estafa.

Lo más chocante fue el trato recibido por parte del camarero, cuya actitud fue grosera, altiva y completamente desinteresada. Desde el primer momento nos hizo sentir incómodos, respondiendo con desgana, malas formas y un tono casi hostil. En ningún momento hubo amabilidad, atención o profesionalismo. Preguntar algo del menú parecía molestarlo, y la sensación general fue que estábamos estorbando más que siendo atendidos como clientes. La comida pasó a segundo plano, ya que el pésimo servicio arruinó por completo la experiencia. Aun así, los platos llegaron fríos y sin cuidado en la presentación. No volveremos jamás y desaconsejo totalmente visitar este sitio. El trato recibido fue inaceptable. Pongo una estrella porque no se puede poner menos.

Fui a tomar una copa con amigos a la terraza que tienen en la azotea (rooftop) no recomiendo pedir, mojitos, cócteles, todo son preparados industriales, lo peor es que cuando necesitan hielos, entran en el baño de los clientes (wc) para sacar las bolsas de hielo que tienen almacenadas ahí !! 🫤🫤

Pedimos 3 cosas para cenar y de las cuales una no estaba nada buena , ni si quiera para seguir comiéndola. Es la primera vez en algún restaurante que cuando no gusta algo encima te lo cobran y encima sugieren el 10% de propina . El plato eran 33€.. nada barato para lo poco bueno que estaba.
