Cute little Mexican restaurant in Mariposa. The staff is amazing and we thought the food was great! The vegetables tasted very fresh. We will be going back here every night of our stay. We thought it was very fair priced too! My only complaint would be the guac not being thick enough, it was a little too mashed up for my preferences but I put it on my tacos and it tasted great!

We had our anniversary dinner at this joint, at Mariposa. The day was Cinco-de-mayo too so the restaurant was jam-packed. The waiters were impressive in the way they handled the crowd and service, food was great too specially the enchiladas with the diablo sauce. Overall experience was pretty satisfying.

We had great time with our family here, the staff is super kind, the food was ready really fast and delicious. We had one soup and three different meals and even our "picky" daughters 😊 finished their meals. The prices are also great and even if you are on budget you will find the right meal for you.

After discovering this restaurant, we couldn't help but make it our "go to" place the entire week we stayed at Mariposa. The staff members are super nice and attentive. The young man and lady who are servers there also seem very hard working. They always seemed to be doing something: cleaning tables, sweeping, or polishing the silverware. This particularly stood out to me because a lot of the staff members at other businesses in Mariposa, always seemed to be on their phone, as if they didn't enjoy their job or where plain out bored. Anyway, here, the workers seemed to enjoy their job so the customer service was outstanding. Let's talk about the food, a Latina born and raised in Mexico, I can without a doubt say that the food here is the best Mexican food you'll find in Mariposa. Is it 100% "authentic?" The answer is no. Their tortillas are definitely not authentic but hey, they were still delicious. Now, if they handmade their tortillas, it would take their food to a whole another level but I understand why they don't. The only thing I would say is a "con" is that they never had any music playing when we went to visit the restaurant. I feel that some Mexican music would REALLY set the ambiance for the entire restaurant. Anyway, the food is delicious, the drinks are refreshing, the salsa and chips are awesome, the workers are fantastic. 100% recommend this place, come support a family business!

The food and service were good here. We had visited this for lunch during our trip to Yosemite National Park. It was near our hotel. We had camarones A la diablo (shrimp sauted in a sauce served with rice) and flan. It was good.They also serve nachos with the salsa dip in the beginning which is also good.

This cute Mexican restaurant has limited vegan options. I ordered the veggie burrito without sour cream and cheese to make it vegan. The staff came back to tell me they removed the rice because it was cooked in chicken broth. I asked for red sauce to put over the burrito which was yummy. Would have liked to see more veggies in the burrito though. The guacamole was okay, but not my favorite. The drinks were large and super yummy and the staff were wonderful. The rest of my non-vegan family really enjoyed it here, but it’s not the best for vegans.

Good service and very affordable. I appreciate the frosted mug they give with beer. There’s not many food options in the towns surrounding Yosemite but this is one of the better ones. The chili Colorado was pretty good but I don’t think it was braised, I’m guessing it’s steak tossed in a sauce.

Really enjoyed this place. It’s located about 30 minutes outside of the mountain so it’s a great place to stop on your way home after a long day of hiking. Portion sizes were really big. Margaritas were made with wine instead of tequila so while not as good they were more affordable. Kids menu items had a ton of food. The decor is awesome and service was great!

Food is good. I ordered meatballs broth, but vegetables looked like old or like overcooked. Broth flavorless. The other food i ordered was the menudo, but was flavorless too. The fajitas are better than the broths.

Ordered to go. We wanted a large guacamole and got charged $7 for maybe 1/4 cup. There was minimal rice and beans. Two wedges of lemons cost us $1. All of our chile rellenos had a smear of cheese. Ridiculously overpriced. We will never eat there again. And we’re locals.
