Had to stop in to try the mango sticky rice matcha since it was definitely a different type of drink. Loved the mango pieces mixed with the matcha, it was yummy! Also tried the pistachio white mocha and this drink was fire! I would order it again! I will be back to try different drinks!
This place is honestly too popular for their own good lol, they need a bigger spot to handle all the customers. Thankfully it's right by my house and I am HOOKED on their Vanilla Cold Brew because it's actually "vanilla infused coffee beans" rather then several pumps of syrup like other spots. So delicious and prices are very reasonable and actually see a number of drinks on the menu that are cheaper then big chain spots. The staff here are always very kind and it's a great spot to hangout, but does get very noisy as they're constantly full of customers.
Favorite Vietnamese coffee place in phoenix!! I’m a regular. Try the strawberry matcha, or the sticky rice mango matcha. The Ube coffee is top tier the contrast of the sweet and creamy with bold and bitter taste of the coffee is spot on.
What a vibe! I loved it at Cafe Mollie. We came at a busy time on Sunday afternoon and were greeted by a wonderful girl taking orders at the counter. We chatted for a few and she told me about the mango sticky rice matcha and I just had to try one. We also ordered a matcha latte as well. We lucked out to find the last open seating for two while we waited. While on the smaller side it didn’t feel stuffy. The bright decor made it feel so much larger. Our drinks were out fast and were delicious. Parking was a sinch as well so I’d definitely call this place a win for me.if you don’t like matcha they of course also offer cold brew, espresso, Vietnamese coffee and more.
This is hands-down our FAVORITE coffee place in Phoenix. Located on Bethany Home (off the 51), this place posts a modern-look to their coffee shop. It is a quaint place, with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is extremely nice, always willing to explain their drinks, and the love that goes into them. The coffee itself is AMAZING. You can never go wrong just getting the original Vietnamese Coffee, but I love going with the Pandan foam to add that sweet nuttiness to it. If you have never had Vietnamese-style coffee, or even if frequent in ethnic coffee, you need to visit Cafe Mollie!
I seriously can't stop thinking about this place--it's easily my favorite coffee shop right now! The Pandan Vietnamese Coffee is unbeatable in my opinion. Bold flavor with the perfect touch of sweetness from the cold foam without being too much. We also tried the Strawberry Matcha and were really impressed. The strawberry purée tasted fresh--not like the artificial syrup you get at most places. We asked for an extra scoop of matcha, and they were super accommodating. Definitely recommend this one if you're into a stronger matcha flavor. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
Whether you’re starting your morning, catching up with a friend, or trying to emotionally recover from an auburn-haired Swiss boy who absolutely knew what he was doing, Cafe Mollie is your sanctuary. Tucked into Camelback East like a minimalist dreamscape with fairy lights and desert-modern charm, this place has main character energy written all over it. One look at the matte black bike racks, the clean white walls adorned with desert murals, and the cozy interior that whispers “write your memoir here,” and I was sold. The staff? Friendly in that “we know your regular order but won’t judge you if you cry a little while ordering it” kind of way. The coffee? Bold. Delicious. Exactly what you need to power through a day of pretending you’re fine. And don’t even get me started on the Banh Mi—it’s the culinary equivalent of being wrapped in a weighted blanket and told, “You deserve better.” Whether you’re on your way to work, plotting your next life chapter, or dishing about your latest ex over an oat milk latte, Cafe Mollie is the place. 10/10 recommend—for the coffee, the ambiance, and the much-needed emotional support.
Vietnamese coffee and matcha at Cafe Mollie is SO good. The Banh Mi sandwiches are pretty great too and very reasonably priced. It’s so far out of the way for me to drive here and yet I keep finding my way back every other week or so. This is maybe my new favorite coffee shop in the Valley!
This place has amazing quality coffee. Really robust flavor but not super bitter. You can tell they use good quality beans, espresso machine, grinder etc. I ordered online the first time and the same week drove over there for another of the same. Really excellent. Cool atmosphere. I also tried the bahn mi with eggs (I don’t eat meat) and it wasn’t really enjoyable. The bread was great but it wasn’t for me. I’m sure the meat ones are good though if that’s your thing. The place cares about quality and that was pretty clear from the jump. If I ate meat, I would be trying one for sure. Will return! & can’t wait to do so.
Came across this wonderful little coffee shop on a trip with my daughter. The manager Alyssa and fellow barista Margo were absolutely awesome!! They thoroughly took time talking about each unique coffee and topping that they can do. They even gave samples of a few toppings. The coffee is excellent but the staff is superior!! Cafe Mollie is a unique oasis among coffee shops in Phoenix with phenomenal Vietnamese coffees and teas!! I highly recommend them!
I’m always around this area and had been looking for a cozy spot to relax, get some laptop work done, and try new drinks and food. One day, I stumbled upon 'Coffee-Tea' and decided to check it out. I was surprised I hadn’t noticed it before, given how long I’ve been here. It turned out to be an amazing find! They have unique drinks like egg latte, taro latte, various matcha flavors, and delicious Vietnamese sandwiches. Now, I stop by whenever I have a break and plan to try everything on the menu. The flavors are always fresh and exciting. If you love Vietnamese cuisine, unique drinks, and a great atmosphere to unwind, I highly recommend this place. It’s quickly become my favorite spot since I moved here!
Great vibes! White brick walls, rattan and variety of greenery...I love it. Plenty of seating for meeting friends, studying, working or reading. The place is adorable and I enjoyed the reading nook in back. Nice clean bathrooms. Batista was helpful. The mango lotus drink was refreshing and the strawberry pop tart was fresh and wonderful
Very nice cafe, it was a bit crowded. I had an iced green tea, not sure how they make it but had a lot of leaves in it. Coffee was good. I wouldn’t bring baby’s here but toddler should be fine.
Only here to review about their coffee We drove 20min from Scottsdale to check out the Vietnamese coffee We actually good expectations as we saw so many ppl ordering and waiting for their drinks The place felt like there was barely any AC even though it was so hot outside. I was low key sweating waiting for my drink We got the Vietnamese coffee, and I was disappointed because it was made via machine and not traditional drip. It was mostly bitter without the rich or bold flavor. Tasted more bland and watered down. the pandan coffee was better because the pandan gave the drink more flavor I saw a lot of ppl getting matcha drinks—-I am assuming their matcha is better than their coffee series
I've seen so many people praise the matcha here, so I drove a good 30 minutes to try it out. The mango sticky rice matcha was over $8 and just bland. If I closed my eyes and tried really hard then I'd get a hint of matcha flavor. Maybe this is matcha for people who don’t like matcha.
Their menu doesn’t indicate that the egg coffee only comes iced, and I feel like they should make that clear. I ordered an egg coffee and was surprised to get an iced drink so I asked if they also make it hot and they said no because it would curdle the egg. I googled “is egg coffee normally cold?” and google said no, it’s usually hot. So…. Drink was incredibly sweet but not bad, even though I never drink iced coffee.
I’m a big matcha guy - I’ve tried everybody’s, and when I read all the reviews raving about this place I had to try it out. I ordered the mango matcha and was served a nice cup of green water. I truly wish I was exaggerating; the matcha had NO flavor whatsoever. I’m not sure if I came on the wrong day or what, cause I was really looking forward to the same groundbreaking taste yall were talking about 😭 2 stars tho cause the employees were lovely
Loved the aesthetic of the place and the cute decor. I wanted to like this place but we did not like our drinks. BUT, the banana pudding is good. The viet coffees were extremely bold, strong, bitter and tbh, unpleasant. I tasted no balance of evaporated or condensed milk at all. Heavy cream could not even save the drinks. To me these drinks were not viet coffees at all. The mango sticky rice matcha was not for me. I got a huge mouthful of the essence of sticky rice and then extreme sourness from the mango. Perfect amount of matcha though. Just wasn’t a drink for me. I asked the barista if I could get a different drink and she was kind enough to make me a new one. She seemed hesitant at first but I’m happy she was able to make me a new drink! I asked for a pandan matcha which was a bit better but the amount of matcha didn’t match the mango sticky rice I had. It was more milky. I would have loved the drink if there was more matcha powder. A lot of people seem to like it here, I wanted to like it too but unfortunately it wasn’t for us.
I use to love Cafe Mollie, their strawberry matcha was one of my top favorites. Not sure if because they have gotten busier they have cut down on quality, but the drinks even though prettty were horrible. The matchas were super water down hardly any matcha taste. Before I always had more of a strawberry puree, today it seemed just like a strawberry syrup. The Ube coffee had no realy taste besides super bitter not drinkable even after adding more cream at home. So sad because it used to be good and sucks I spent over 20 bucks to just throw them away.
